Duel Academy: Destiny's End - Arc 2 - The Approaching Darkness [Started/Accepting via OOC]

Madame Clive stepped into the intersection of the halls, leading to the nurse's office. So soon after the new students arrived, she had heard one student had passed out. This is becoming troublingly frequent, she thought to herself. Also, screams had carried down the hall from this point and she had felt it best to investigate and figure out whether there existed a genuine concern and not just the nurse tightening bandages too hard again.

 

Her eyes quickly spotted a student, which she seemed to recall as being a Slifer Student. However, most of the students should have been in the gymnasium by this point. "Hold up, young man!" she called to Yakori. "You should be in the gymnasium with the others. Why are you wandering the halls?"

 

She then froze as something strange happened. The boy met with another student...and she couldn't even describe what had just happened.

[Spirit of DMG]

"Well, later," Damen said, giving her a two fingered, lazy salute. He walked to the booth containing the Slifer Red jackets. He took a look at the ones clearly visible, and asked the person working the booth, "Any blazers in the same style as this jacket?" Clearly indicating a black leather, biker style jacket. (Minus any spikes, obviously.) "Umm, I kind of have specific preferences for clothing. It drive me crackers when I don't have certain things, or at least certain styles of things."

Avirre then Looked at Yakori with a grimaced look and tsked at least 5 times, and said "And little do you realize that you're Retarded" at which she pulled out one of her cards and bellowed "Scarlet End Spear!" at which a rather huge Black and Red spear appeared in her hands. The Negative Energy released from doing this was litterally enough to shatter the barrier. She approached Yakori with a Grimaced look on her face. She then said "Bah, you think that puny little wall can stand up to me? little fiend!"

Akira felt like going back to the gym, so he waved goodbye to Kay and made his way in. On his way to the gym, he passed by many students of all dorms. Eventually, Akira walked into the gym and Chancellor Yami stood up. Apparently he had something to say, so Akira was ready to listen. "I wonder what that will be about" Akira thought excitedly, apparently happier than he had been for a long, long time... :D

[The White Wolf]

"Look again." Yakori stated as the barrier rose back up. Stronger than ever "BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!" Yakori maniacally laughed "You are no match to the powers of darkness you runt! BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!" Yakori once again maniacally laughed "Nothing can save you now! Now then. Let's get a little more precaution on that." Yakori explained before snapping his fingers. "Now you cannot summon anything. Not your spells, not your traps, and not your monsters!" Yakori explained "There's no way out!"

 

-Meanwhile-

 

Chancellor Yami walked up to Akira "Akira. You have been selected to duel in the Opening Year Duel." Chancellor Yami stated "Do you accept?"

Peter was Frozen in awe. The duel disk, had Blood Spawn Dragon of Dark Realm in the first slot. " any card you activate with that duel disk, becomes real." Blood Spawn Dragon explained.

 

"so, if I where to put any card on this, It will be real?".

 

"yes". Peter threw Blood Red Dragon of Dark Realm on the second monster slot. A huge red light shot out of the duel disk. From the light, came a giant Metalic dragon. Peter climbed the dragon and sat on its head.

 

"lets fly torwards that sinister energy over by the nurse' office." Peter ordered the large dragon.

Avirre however, didn't need to summon anything else, she Stabbed the Barrier, Although it didn't seem to do anything to the barrier, But the She stabbed the Barrier and shattered it again, then the Negative energy that came from the attacks Prevented the Barrier from Reforming "Oh come on, you have to be smarter than your opponent in order to survive. now let me speak fool!" Suddenly, The Negative energy around Avirre escalates, Breaking the restraints set on her and suddenly, 2 Barriers materialize, Trapping Yakori and Avirre in the same hallway, Even though the barriers were see through, they were sound-proof. "I can actually refuse this duel cause you cannot corrupt a person, when they have already been corrupted. and little do you realize, I'm much stronger than you..."

[Blackstone Dresden]

"And stay off!" The boat captain shouted angrily, "Worthless kid like you without a Deck's not gonna last too long here anyway, you'll fail out within a month!"

 

"I'm not even enrolled to begin with!" Kenshin shouted back as he got thrown, literally, off the boat, "I failed their stupid test, apparently I'm not good enough to even make it in the lowest ranked dorm." He sighed and dusted himself off, "Great, one kid, no Deck, no Duel Disk, no money, stuck on an island used almost exclusively for Dueling." He kicked a rock into the ocean and stared out in the distance, "Some teacher's gotta notice me soon enough and point me in the direction of the failure boat." He picked up another rock and chucked it into the ocean, "Until then, just gotta sit back and enjoy the view."

IC: "You may be corrupted. But have you heard of Double Corrupt?" Yakori asked as his barrier reformed "My barrier feeds on negative energy. You just made it stronger. You don't realize this. But the more you resist, the more you're being corrupted by THIS darkness!" Yakori explained as he raised his arms. A strong wind brew. The barrier shattered the other two. They were unable to reform no matter what. "Now then, now that it's impossible to stop me. Let's get on with this duel." Yakori stated.

[Fader]

Professor Wolf anticipated The chancelors reply. He was greatly anticipated waiting for duels and students. He shook excitedly. Then he slapped himself muttering some words to himself. Proffesor Wolf looked a little tired.

Avirre then looked at Yakori and said "and little do you realize, The more i resist, The more trouble you're going to face later!", But then she started weakening, cause she couldn't bear controlling her Scarlet end Spear for any longer. The Scarlet End spear started to fizzle as too much of her power was being used, Then after 15 minutes of trying to stay up. She had nearly fainted, because the Spear took so much of her power. She then Muttered "I.... won't.... Let..... my memories....... happen again..........." then she fully fainted.....

Akira reported to the chancellor and bowed respectfully. "Chancellor Yami, did you call for me?" Akira asked, wondering what he was asked to do. The chancellor looked at him, apparently quite surprised, then a smile spread across his face. Akira wondered what that was all about. It seemed so sudden. The moment he had unpacked, he was suddenly called back to the gym. Then, across the gym, Akira saw Kid Akarui, who gave him a small smile.

Kid Akarui activated his Duel Disk and drew five cards. He walked to one part of the stage and waited for Akira too go to the other side.

"Pathetic." Yakori stated as the blank card flew back into his hand. He started to walk away "Tsk." he stated as he walked by Madame Clive. He walked outside and raised his arm. The hand that was about to grab Brian was slowly nearing grabbing him.....

Peter got to the nurse's office just in time to see a girl faint. He hopped of the giant red dragon.

 

"What happened here?"Peter asked some kid nearby. There was something off about this kid.

It was his energy that peter felt before. Blood Red Dragon jumped in-between Peter and the kid.

 

"Peter, this kid is holding someone's soul. You must watch out, if he where to get yours something really bad will happen." The Big Dragon said. Pwter heard his warning and backed up a bit.

Akira activated his duel disk. He drew five cards. "Good luck!" Akira said to Kid Akarui. "It's an honor to be able to duel you" Akira said respectfully. Kid Akarui seemed glad that at least one of the first years had proper manners. "Anyways, you can have the first move." Akira said to Kid Akarui, eager to see how strong the best student at the academy was. Akira's heart started thumping. He had never dueled in front of this many spectators before - usually just junior tournaments, but now, he had the whole school watching him...

Madame Clive lashed out her hand and grabbed ahold of Yakori's wrist. "Hold on there, young man!" she said sternly, glancing back towards the unconscious girl. "Just what the hell is going on here?" she demanded, narrowing her eyes towards the student. She didn't have the foggiest idea what was going on, but she was determined to get to the bottom of this and would not stand by and watch a student harm another student.

 

"I asked you a question," she said, her tone becoming sterner.

Kid Akarui drew his card "I'll start with Double Summon." Kid Akarui stated "I summon The White Stone of Legend!" [DEF: 250] "Now I'll sacrifice him in order to summon Jinzo!" [ATK: 2400] "Now by my stone's effect I add a Blue-Eyes White Dragon to my hand." Kid Akarui explained as he added the dragon to his hand "I'll end my turn with Future Fusion." Kid Akarui stated with a smirk as he sent five dragons from his deck to his graveyard "Now! I add to more Blue-Eyes White Dragons to my hand!" Kid Akarui declared as he added the remaining dragons to his hand. "(With Jinzo - MK1 in my hand and Jinzo on the field, I'll be able to cut off every last one of his Spell and Traps." Kid Akarui thought with a smirk.

Professor Wolf heard the yelling and immediatly came to see what happened. "I am missing a duel for this but i dont have a clue whats going on but i think that this is really awkward." "I see a teaher apparently yelling at a student who looks reaally crazy." Proffesor Wolf picked Avirre off the ground muttering things under his breath. Proffesor Wolf carried Avirre to the nurses office.Asking the nurse to watch her.

"Wow....talk about being the best in the academy. This guy's no joke" Akira muttered to himself. He drew a card. "First, I'll activate Mystical Space Typhoon, destroying your Future Fusion! Then, I summon Blackwing - Shura the Blue Flame in Attack position. Now, I'll Special Summon Blackwing - Gale the Whirlwind, who halves the ATK of your Jinzo. Now, Shura attacks Jinzo (Kid Akarui LP:3400) and Gale attacks directly! (Kid Akarui LP: 2100). Now, my Shura summons a Blackwing from my Deck with 1500 or less ATK, so I Special Summon my Blackwing - Breeze the Zephyr who attacks you directly! (Kid Akarui LP: 1000). Finally, I'm double tuning my Breeze and Gale to my Shura to Synchro Summon Blackwing - Twister the Infernal Hellstorm.

 

Twister the Infernal Hellstorm:

This card's Attribute is also treated as WIND. When this card destroys a monster by battle, place 1 "Black Burning Gust" Counter on this card (max.3). If a monster is destroyed by this effect, inflict damage to both players equal to the level of the destroyed monster x 300. I Special Summon! Jinzo - MK1! Now I discard 1 card for each monster summoned and pay 400 life points each!" Kid akarui explained as he discarded one Blue-Eyes White Dragon and one other card LP: 200 "Now! I'll end this by sacrificing Five Headed Dragon! In order to summon! Great Maju Garzett!" [ATK: ? -> 10,000] "Now! Great Maju Garzett! End this duel! Attack his Blackwing - Twister the Infernal Hellstorm!" Akira LP: 4000 -> 0.

From my hand, I can Special Summon my Blackwing - Mephisto Reflector Knight the Spiraling Tornado, which can be Special Summoned when you attack and I have at least 1 Blackwing monster on the field. Then, his effect destroys the attacking monster and inflicts damage to you equal to your monster's ATK. In this case, your Great Maju Garzett is attacking, so it will not only be destroyed, but you will take 10,000 points of damage!"

I believe you summoned your monster in attack mode since you thought the duel was over, so now! Jinzo! Attack!" Kid Akarui declared.

"I'm only taking one of your souls and corrupting you into the darkness." Yakori stated as he threw the blank card which created another barrier. Which surrounded him and Madame Clive.

[Fader]

realizing the nurse was in his hands and he was talking to a mop proffesor wolf sets avirre on the table. He calls the chancellor explaining the pshco student and madame clive and the nurse. Then explaining the nurse needs a nurse. Professor Wolf then explains that he could be found in the nurses office listening to the duel on the radio. He adjusted the knobs to get better sound and 1 came off. Proffesor wolf threw away the radio and muttered to himself some more.

Madame Clive's brow furrowed when she saw a black barrier surround both herself and the student. However, she was undaunted. "What is this you are talking about?" she demanded, not lessening her stern tone for a moment. In her distraction, she had released his arm and eyed the barrier warily. Whatever it was, it seemed entirely unnatural, like nothing she had experience dealing with in her years of teaching or schooling.

 

"And what is going on?" she added, almost as an afterthought.

"Ugh... (Akira LP: 1600). My move! Now that you no longer have your Great Maju Garzett, you're open!" Akira declared. "It looks like I won't be able to hold back against him: I hoped to win only using a Double SYnchro, but it looks like I have to use 'that'." Akira thought to himself. "Now, I activate my Blackwing Exchange, which lets me discard a Blackwing and draw cards equal to its level. I discard my Blackwing - Electrus the Explosion Summoner to draw 8 cards! Now, Electrus' effect activates, letting me Special Summon any number of Blackwings that have a combined Level of 8! Now, meet Mistral the Silver Shield and Elphin the Raven!! Then, I'm special summoning my Blackwing - Golden Glare the Marauder, whose effect lets me discard a blackwing to special Summon a Blackwing from my deck with a lower level. Now, I send my Blizzard to my Graveyard to Special Summon Blackwing - Spike Defender the Absolute Gust. Now, I'm tuning my Golden Glare to my Spike Defender to SYnchro Summon the Tuner Synchro: Blackwing - Cyber Blaze Marauder! Now, I'm tuning my Elphin the Raven to my Blizzard to Synchro Summon Crepuscule Aurora Dragon! Finally, I;m tuning my Cyber Blaze Marauder to my Crepuscule Aurora Dragon to perform an Accel Synchro, summoning Twilight Aura Dragon! Due to my Cyber Blaze Marauder's effect, I can send three blackwings from my Deck to my Graveyard to inflict 1000 LP to you! (Kid Akarui:9200). Next, I activate my Twilight Aura Dragon's ability: By destroying every card I control, he gains an additional attack! I destroyed 2 cards (Twister Infernal Hellstorm and face down).
