[spoiler=Plot] A new Duel Academy has opened. It has been up for three years. Students and Teachers from all over the world are coming. What kind of destiny will await you? What kind of destiny will await this academy?

[spoiler=Arc 1 - Entrance Exams] Entrance Exams are now starting. How will you do? Will you get into Obelisk Blue? Ra Yellow? Or Slifer Red? It all depends on how you do.

 

The teachers will be testing the students. The dueling exams are commencing. If we are short on teachers, I'll control some of the teachers until someone applies for them.

A Dark Duel Academy has been trying to overthrow Duel Academies across the world for centuries so they could rule the world. This time they're target is this Duel Academy. They brainwashed a young boy known as Yakori. Who is the rival of Kid Akarui. They are using the power of darkness to corrupt the minds of the students.... and maybe even the teachers. Will the students and teachers overcome this darkness and put a stop to it for good? Or will this darkness succeed in the destruction of the world?

Bio: Damen's father was an alchemist in search of the ultimate elixir to heal any disease. Damen came up with a recipe for just such an elixir, but decided to wait three days while his elixir fermented in a cool, dark place before adding the final ingredient, believing that it would work better that way. Then, he was forced to watch as his parents were murdered by three men looking for the elixir, as his mother had locked him in the closet when they broke in. His father had handed them the formula Damen made, but that didn't stop anything.

Appearance: 6'10''. He has dark hair, and brown eyes. He consistently wears a black leather jacket, and matching pants, along with Biker Boots. His build is not overly muscular, but is definitely more muscular than average.

Personality: Keeps to himself, but is till warm and inviting. Somewhat easily amused, but knows when to be serious.

However, when forced to duel, he shows his remarkable skills. Once of his ace cards, Crepuscule Aurora Dragon, houses a duel spirit of a glowing, white dragon (hence the card). Once of his main hobbies is playing tennis. Though he is unhesitant to stand up for his friends, he is often picked on for his inability to stand up for himself.

His older sister was his life, she was the only family he had, but when he was 11, she was hit by a drunk driver and killed, she left Rex her deck. The deck was a combination Harpie/Amazoness deck. Many people laugh at Rex cause he has a chick deck, but he doesn't care. He has become violent since his sister died and beat the crap out of anybody who laughs at him, cause its like they are laughing at his sister.

His Duel Disk, originally a standard Duel Academy Model, has long since been remodeled, so that the blade now resembles an actual samurai sword that goes on his back or on his hip when in standby mode. When in Duel Mode, it attaches to his arm guard, a heavily modified version of his original base, and the blade doubles in width to allow for his cards.

Personality: Kenshin is an aloof slacker, far from his deck's namesakes, though he has shown some ability to improve his mannerisms as time passes.

Personality: No one is quite sure what to make of Tsubasa. Though she's Amane's best friend, she's obviously dangerously insane, no doubt due to her violent rearing by a mass murderer. Though she's cheerful almost to a fault, many of her mannerisms are terrifying (e.g. her mural of Dove Promise wrappers), and she has an eerie aura about her. She's blissfully unaware of the terror she inspires, though, instead perfectly satisfied with Amane alone as a friend. Anyone who tries to hurt Amane will feel her wrath...

Bio: A dragon duelist for most of his dueling life, he used Dragon-types in every one of his decks. Every deck he used, he stuffed at least 4 or 5 Dragons in it. But in every deck, he held his ace card, Dragobie King. With Dragobie King, Hiryu is able to always have at least one monster available on the field for him. The only issue in the past was summoning him. But now his whole deck is nothing but Dragon-based. So it isn't an issue anymore.

 

Appearance: Wears mainly black clothing with violet markings. His black T-Shirt shows a violet hourglass on it. (Like one on a Black Widow spider, except violet instead of red.) His black shoes are strapped on with a Velcro and a deck holder is strapped to a chain that hangs

from his pants. His dark brown eyes mainly show an intimidating look, but also give off a sign of protection to his friends. His black hair doesn't help him look more harmless, though...

 

Personality: Never one to shy away from anything, he tries to be like his dragon "counterparts." He socialites very little. He is very calm most of the time and takes all his anger out in stride.

Personality: Like most boys his age, Yoroi is quite cocky and rude. The teen tends to disrespect his elders and likes to ignore people who he deems "annoying". However, towards the ones he calls friends Yoroi will shed his usual personality for a more joking one.

Rex woke up very early on the day he was going to head to the Duel Academy. He didn't want to over sleep. In fact, he got very little sleep that night. He started to get ready and thats when he noticed Guardian Eatos was standing in his room. "Ahh" he screamed. Then he started to chuckle. "Guardian Eatos, please don't scare me like that, I hate it when you do that." Rex ran down the stairs of his apartment and out the door with his duel disk on his arm, his deck in his duel disk, and Guardian Eatos was close behind him. He was hoping if he got into the Acedemy, he could leave his old life behind, his life that he lost 5 years ago. So there he was, on his was to the academy, just praying he got in. He ran threw the city trying to make it to the ferri where the boat was leaving, somehow he managed to be late. He ran and ran as fast as he could and turned towars the dock. He noticed the boat was taking off and he didnt know if he would make it. So he ran and ran faster than ever and once at the edge of the dock he jumped as far as he could and landed on the edge of the boat. He pulled himself over and chuckled to himself as everybody laughed at him. He didnt care though. He made it, and thats all that counts.

The boat left the dock and started heading to the Duel Academy Island. The chancellor was holding a microphone in a stadium at the top row on the boat "Excuse me future students of Duel Academy." he stated "We will be starting the first part of the exams soon. The first part will be on dueling. Could Zero Katashi please move up to one of the first of the four areas? Could Rex please move up to the second of the four areas? Could Damen Esposito please move up to the third of the four areas? Could Akira Tanaka please move up to the final of the four areas?" the chancellor declared into the microphone.

[Spirit of DMG]

Damen woke up early that morning. He picked up his deck and smiled, even chuckling a bit. He set the deck back onto the desk in his room, then changed his clothes into his signature dark suit. He placed his deck into a deck case designed for him to wear as a necklace. "Well, time for breakfast," he said, wa;ling into the kitchen. He cooked up some ham, eggs, and bacon. He lived alone, so he didn't have to make enough for more than himself. After eating his breakfast and making sure no one could get in, even removing the key from under the mat, he headed for Duel Academy, just barely making it in time to hear his name and designated area being called, out of breath, but wind sprinting to the area he was supposed to go to.

Kay awoke feeling refreshed. He look out the window to see a beautiful morning. "Ahh.... What a calming morning.... It's times like these that I wish I could go camping, but right now it's time for me to head off to Duel Academy. Too bad I couldn't enter the academy earlier, hehe." Kay got prepared with everything he needed and headed off to the academy, a vibrant smile shown on his face.

Rick awoke, yawning loudly. "Ahh.... That was a good sleep! Now time to get going! WHOOHOO!!!!" Rick quickly jumped out of bed and prepared, leaving with a doughnut in his mouth. "Gotta get going!!!!" Rick ran quickly towards the direction of Duel Academy.

Felicity was already on her way, she was cheerful this morning, considering this is her first day to Duel Academy. "I can't wait to get there! I wonder how is it going to be? I remember my brother's first day. He looked nervous, he can't hide his emotions from me, hehe." Felicity said to herself.

Lance was in his classroom, drinking a cup of coffee. "Ahh yes.... The first day.... I wonder how'll the students will fare? Hehe, hopefully we get some tough students. They're gonna need it for my class."

Zero woke up. He was disoriented, though he didn't know why. Then he saw it. The room he was in didn't have anything that Zero remembered being there. He looked at his arm, and noticed that he was wearing an Academy Disk, instead of his normal Blue-Eyes Disk. Then he noticed several things all at once. First, his deck was missing. Second, he was lying on the floor. Third, everyone in the room was staring right at him. There were maybe 4 people in this room besides him. He slowly got up, looked around, and walked up to a man with Bright Orange hair, a Yellow Marker across his face, wearing a Brown Leather Jacket, And asked him "Where am I?" The man replied "You're in the Satellite Sector of New Domino City." Then another man, this time with Bright Yellow Hair and a White Jacket with a Blue Outline asked Zero "Who are you, and how did you get here?" Zero replied "I could ask you all the same thing." "What do you mean?" asked a third man, who was wearing a Dark Blue Jacket, and had Dark Blue hair to match, though his hair had some yellow in it. "I mean that I live here." Zero responded. Finally, a fourth man, with white hair and a long, Brown cloak, came up to him and said "If you live here, then why haven't we seen you around here before?" Zero replied "I don't know, why are you here?" The man with Dark Blue Hair answered "This is the Base for our Team, Team Satisfaction. My name is Yusei." Said Yusei. Each of the others told Zero their names, then Yusei ask "What's yours?" "Zero." said Zero.

"I honestly didn't think that Team Satisfaction still existed. I thought that that got wiped away when Yliaster was Defeated." said Zero. "Yliaster?!" Exclaimed Yusei. "Yliaster isn't gone, Zero." said Yusei. "What?! But, that's not possible! I heard that Yliaster got Beaten nearly 2 years ago!" Exclaimed Zero. "2 years ago?" said Jack. "Wait a minute..." said Yusei. Zero took a quick look around the room once more, and said "I think... I've gone back in the Past 2 years." "Gone back... in the Past?" said Crow. "But how?" asked Kallin. "I don't know." said Zero. Zero explained to the others all the events that lead up to Zero's Time-Line.

"Really?" asked Yusei. "Yeah, Me and My Brother." said Zero. "Well, we have your Duel Disk and your Deck over there on the table. Maybe you should go to the Academy, considering you have that Academy Disk on." said Yusei. "Maybe." said Zero. Zero went over to the table, replaced his Academy Disk with his Blue-Eyes Disk, and placed his Deck inside the opening in the Mouth of the Blue-Eyes' Head. "Do you know where my Duel Runner is?" asked Zero. "I think I saw one that looked like a Blue-Eyes out front." Said Jack. "That would be it. Thanks Jack" Said Zero.

After Zero got on his Duel Runner, and rode off to Duel Academy, Over the Daedalus Bridge, through the City, and to the Parking Lot next to the Academy, where Riding Duelists could leave their Duel Runners parked and, eventually, shipped to the Island.

"I wonder what destiny has in store for me this time." said Zero, looking down at his Left Hand, where his Lunar Mark lay hidden underneath his glove.

"Well, no time to waste!" said Zero to himself, and he rushed off into the Academy Docks, where boats would be Departing for Academy Island.

 

*Later, on the boat*

 

"Could Zero Katashi please move up to one of the first of the four areas?" said the Chancellor. "Heh. well, would you look at that. I'm being expected." thought Zero to himself. Zero slowly walked up to the first of the Four Duel Arenas amd awaited his Opponent.

[Zextra]

Akira woke up to the sound of his alarm clock: It read 9:00 AM. "No, no, no, no, no!". The Duel Academy entrance exams started at 10 AM. "I'm positive I set the alarm for 7 AM! Who could have chan-....Kyle, of course!". He was referring to his 17-year old brother, who loved to prank and pick on him, regardless of circumstances. Kyle was the only person who coulg get Akira so worked up all the time, so therefore, they often got into fights. However, today, he did not have time to pick a fight with Kyle; he changed, grabbed a PowerBar, and ran out the door. "I'll get you back for this later!", he shouted at Kyle before slamming the door. He arrived at the harbor just in time to catch the ferry. "This is where everything starts", he thought, and he walked in the boat.

[Barian Warlord]

Kotaro had been busy all night so he had overslept and accidentally missed the boat and ended up at the docks to a big fat nothing. Kotaro sighed and took out his I-Phone and began texting someone, withing thirty minutes a private boat arrived for him and he got on, the driver asked were he was going and he told him Duel Academy, the man was surprised but started the boat it would take a few hours to reach there, there was even a chance that they would be able to meet up with the boat.

[The ReBeL]

Brian didn't even go to sleep. He was dueling some friends early in the morning.

"Hey Brian aren't you suppose to go to the exams today?"

"O sheet!"

He attacked his friend directly for game and grabbed his cards. He put the earthbound Immortal Deck in the duel disk and saw the boat. People were pointing and laughing. Brian was determined to be the greatest duelist at the academy and pass the exams.

Since he was athletic he jumped in the water and followed the boat. He didn't notice his Earthbound Immortal deck slip away in the water. He followed for a short while and got on the boat. The boat slowed down for him to get on and he was soaked.

 

He realized that he lost his deck and really started to cry. He lost a legacy he built from ground up. He was making him one from scratch looking through the cards he had.

"Well maybe I could make a clown deck. Na. I got it! I am making a water deck!"

[Daxter]

Rex noticed another kid had to jump on the boat. Rex went over and sat on the edge of the boat. Guardian Eatos was still next to him. Well atleast I wasn't the only duelist who had to look like a fool infront of everyone Rex thought. Anything he thought, Guardian Eatos could hear. Of course she never said anything back. He could exactly remeber when he first started to see Eatos around, the first time was shortly after his sister had died. But Eatos had always stuck with him, she was always there for him. He looked over the edge into the water and noticed a bunch of cards were way back in the distance. Looks like someone lost their deck over the side. Guardian Eatos just nodded her head.

[Zextra]

Akira noticed something strange about a kid staring into the sea. A big, white, shadowy figure stood next to him, so Akira went to introduce himself. As he walked over to the kid, Akira's partner, Crepuscule Aurora Dragon appeared behind him. "Hi, my name is Akira. Nice to meet you", he said to the kid. "Wow, you can see duel spirits too?" Akira glanced at the white spirit and identified it as Guardian Eatos. "At least now I don't feel like a freak", Akira mumbled under his breath. Then, as he was about to say something to the kid, he heard the Speaker call his name. "S-sorry, I apologize - I must go", Akira said hastily as he ran off to the 4th Area. The kid looked at him, apparently speechless.

[Daxter]

Rex looked over to the kid. "The names Rex. That's Eatos" he said motioning his head towards his Duel Spirit. "Hmm never thought other people could see these, I was begining to think I was a schizophrenic or something...well good to know Im not crazy." Rex stood up and stretched. He kept looking at the Crepuscule Aurora Dragon, Rex was very surpirsed that there were other people with these spirits that followed them. "I wonder how long till we get to the island, I wanna test already." Rex was very anxious to show his skills off, he knew he would do well at this academy.

[Spirit of DMG]

Damen pretty much ended up throwing himself into the area he was designated to be in. He was panting, barely able to stand, on the verge of throwing up. He stood with his hands on his knees, panting like a dog, barely able to hold himself off the ground. "Man, I knew I shouldn't have made the ham." he finally managed to get out. He wiped the sweat off his brow and looked around, hoping to find out why he was even supposed to be there, some indication that told him what he was supposed to do.

[Guest Dementuo]

Zero could feel the spirits of his Deck attempting to burst out. Zero's Deck had some very violent Duel Spirits, but Zero would be able to keep them under control, using the Mystical Powers of his Lunar Mark. The two Spirits that he would let out every now and then, was the one of his trusted partners, Crescent Shadow Dragon, and Blue-Eyes. They were feeling his anxiety, and they wanted to get started, but where was his opponent? He had been waiting for at least 5, maybe 10 minutes, just standing there. What was going on?

[The ReBeL]

"No I will think about this." Brian was saying.

Some kids near the end of the boat had looked and saw something big.

"My Duel Spirits here!" Brian said.

Some teachers just mumbled and stuff. The kids just laughed and that made Brian mad.

"If I had my deck you would all lose you pieces of yugioh paper!"

"LOL" some dude said and everyone laughed.

He sat back down as Earthbound Immortal Wiraqocha Rasca flew above the boat.

He was communicating with his spirit about his deck.

"It's ok Brian. The deck is gone but I am here and forever will be." the duel spirit said.

Akira arrived at his designated area. "This place just got a lot more interesting", he thought/ However, after waiting 20 minutes without an opponent, he got confused. "I wonder what's wrong". Suddenly, 2 Dragon spirits zoomed out from underneath him. Akira recognized one of them as the legendary Blue-Eyes White Dragon. The other one was a black dragon in the shape of a crescent. For a moment, he felt like he was having a heart attack. Then he realized that there were more "spirit-holders" than he had thought. A slight smile crossed Akira's face.

[The ReBeL]

"O sheet I thought it was just me Eatos and a dragon." Brian said out loud.

Lots of the students looked and laughed. Brian was just going to be quite. Blue Eyes had scared him. he was ready to duel but he had no deck and he was looking through some cards. Then it hit him. Maybe a winged beast deck. He looked at his duel spirit. Nothing. So he kept thinking. He was also thinking if he would even have friends here after leaving the ones at home.

[The White Wolf]

A hatch opened up on the other end of the first area across from Zero. Steam flowed out of it as a floor rose up with Akarui on it. "Are you prepared Zero?" Akarui asked "This will be one of your hardest challenges." Akarui stated as he activated his Duel Disk and drew five cards then a sixth "I summon Metal Warrior LV4 in attack mode." Akarui stated "Now I play Level Up which levels up Metal Warrior LV4 into Metal Warrior LV6." Akarui explained as Metal Warrior LV4 changed shape and grew taller. "I end my turn with two face-downs."

 

"(I've heard of how good of a duelist Zero is, so Akarui is a perfect match.)" the chancellor thought as he watched the start of the duel between Akarui and Zero.

Brian got up and he moved to the front. To see the duel. Metal Warrior Lv 6 looked nice.

He was wondering now. EBI's are unfare advantages. Should he leave after the exam and not care about making an EBI deck or should he follow the rules. The duel was heating up until Blues Eyes started to fly around. Man was it big. With Brians EBI though you could see how Blue Eyes looked small. Then for a second he thought he saw the island.

Zero smirked. "Hmph. Doesn't look like much." Zero said. "Well it's my turn now! I Draw! I activate Giant Trunade, returning your face-downs to your hand! Then, I Summon Troop Dragon, then, I remove him from play to Special Summon my Red-Eyes Darkness Metal Dragon! I activate his effect, allowing me to Special Summon my Strong Wind Dragon!" The Duel Spirits of the two Dragons appeared on the Field, Ready to attack. Strong Wind Dragon, Attack Meral Warrior LV6 Now! The mettalic warrior tore at the gale-force winds of his enemy. "Now, Red-Eyes, Direct Attack!" Zero shouted.

Brian was was thing of making a dark deck since black was his favorite color. He also liked Rfp and was trying to narrow things down. It was between making the EBI's again. A fiend deck, spellcaster, clown, and for some time he wanted to make a winged beast deck. He was bought to say hi to this cute girl but the next move was being made.

[The White Wolf]

Strong Wind Dragon's attack was negated. "The effect of Metal Shield. By Special Summoning it it from my hand when a face-up Metal Warrior I control is selected as an attack target. It negates the attack and ends the battle phase." Akarui explained as the battle phase switched to main phase 2 "Never underestimate the power of my Metal Warriors Zero, let that be your first lesson." Akarui explained.

 

"(Just as I thought!)" chancellor Yami thought.

 

Akarui turned his head to the Blue-Eyes and his eyes glowed green for a second. The blue-Eyes disappeared in a flash. No one was able to see his eyes glow.

Where did Blue-Eyes go? And what's the deal with these strange cards? I've never heard of any of them before." Zero thought.

Brians duel spirit was yelling at him asking did he see blue eyes vanish. Brian was thinking that Zero would lose. He was not listening to anyone. Guardian Eatos seemed to be talking to brians duel spirit. The duel was heating and Yami was smiling. Who are these two duelist Brian and the spirit thought.

[Zextra]

Akira also sensed the disappearance of the Blue-Eyes. He remembered a card he received as a prize for a junior tournament years ago. Then, he made a decision: He would talk to the "Blue-Eyes" duelist after his duel. Silently, Akira paced around the arena, waiting.... It seemed endless... Without anything to do, Akira took out his Crepuscule Aurora Dragon card out of his Deck case and looked at it, questioning it about the other spirits on the boat...
