A Word before Starting

 

This fan-fiction is based on the latest installment of Yu-Gi-Oh!, 5D's. The timeline is the same but a big change in the series is that it's not entirely based on dueling, it's not based on Domino City and it doesn't continue from the main plotline of the series. Rarely seen are references to the 5D's series, GX series or the original Yu-Gi-Oh!, rather more politics and revolution is introduced. If you're here for pure duels and seeing copycat replicas of other series made by fans, then this is not the place for you. If you're here because you're an anime die-hard fan and want to see chibis made out of my characters, then this is also not the place for you. This fan-fiction is for those who care about the storyline and at the same time like to see some dueling strategies and custom cards implemented.

 

Supernatural stuff is introduced in this series but at a logical state to describe the mess that's been there in all the YGO series.

 

Disclaimers and Warnings

 

This fan-fiction will include several mature stuff. If it were a movie, it sure would be rated at least PG13. Some tattoos go there, small bits of alcohol, sexual references at really rare cases and finally corruption/ultimate reality horror merged with a mixture of Lovecraftian literary horror. So beware.

 

Some of the cards of the series, some names and references and some of the villains are based off several characters from the award-winning World of Warcraft series, all copyrights of the characters go to their respective creators at Blizzard Entertainment and this can be treated as fan fiction and non-canonical lore.

 

Prevision 1: The Empire of Thaurissan

 

Long ago in the distant past, the Norse warlord Thaurissan led his Mørkt Jert clan (the Dark Iron clan) into war with the other Norse nations of Scandinavia who were at the time following the theology of worshiping Odin and the ancient pantheon, but after Thaurissan conquered all of the kingdoms of Norway under his control, he went power hungry and eventually destroyed the monuments of the Gods and burned their temples, resulting in a powerful ideology benefiting his rule to later conquer most of Western Europe.

 

Thaurissan would later come to conquer most of the Ancient World, including Europe, China, Northern and Central Africa and the Arabian Peninsula while having political control over India, until he was contacted by the dread being Ragnaros, who after ideologically convincing Thaurissan of enslaving his empire and clan to himself, sought to receive control over the Ancient World and deliver it into an age of hellish strife and begin to construct his army of revenge against the Celestial Gods, who have imprisoned him beneath the Earth long ago.

 

Ragnaros's plans would go unharmed not for the intervention of his three jealous brothers: Neptulon the Tide Lord, Therazane the Stone Mother and Al'Akir the Wind Lord. Learning of Ragnaros's selfish plans, they contacted the Celestial Gods and informed them of the situation, and while unwillingly they helped the World, the Celestial Gods erased the memories of Thaurissan's age and his clan's conquests from the human minds and removed that tainted chapter from history, yet sadly Ragnaros would protect the Mørkt Jert clan from that amnesia wave, save for Thaurissan who was removed from existence. Centuries of war inside the Molten Core of the world began as finally Ragnaros claimed it as his own after escaping his prison. Seeing the Egyptian Shadow Realm as a powerful realm to summon him to the world in the form of trading cards, Ragnaros began his secret conquest by altering the minds of the oppressed kingdom Paellistia's revolution forces to create chaos in the modern world.
