HoneycombTroy
Alot of players out there most times say bad stuff. Im not very experienced and all my posts have never got anything good. Most people get good ratings cuz there new but not me. Plus people always complain because cards are sometimes vanilla. Most of my cards are vanilla and if u look at most vanilla cards, 80% have bad ratings just because there vanilla. So please put something up about that. Plus all members pick out the most stupidest things(etc: bad pic i mean who cares about pic, its about the actual attack and defense and effect). Look at any blurry pic and they get bad ratings just because of the pic.
Trixter
You dont need a mod for this you needA)ValianB)A PhsychiatristC)Me Alot of players out there most times say bad stuff. Im not very experienced and all my posts have never got anything good. Most people get good ratings cuz there new but not me. Without Critics how do you expect to get better? You need them to become a better Card Maker. And if you can;t take critics suck it up like we all did in the beginning. Don't let meaningless comments take you down' date=' take usefull critics and improvise.[/b'] Plus people always complain because cards are sometimes vanilla. Most of my cards are vanilla and if u look at most vanilla cards, 80% have bad ratings just because there vanilla. So please put something up about that. I love vanillas, Valian helps here. There's nothing wrong with vanillas, some people just don't like them, if you don't want someone to say "Vanilla 0/10" Then put "VANILLA" at your titlle. Simple. Plus all members pick out the most stupidest things(etc: bad pic i mean who cares about pic, its about the actual attack and defense and effect). Look at any blurry pic and they get bad ratings just because of the pic. The picture makes the card whole. What good would a vanilla be without a good pic. What good will Dark Magician be without a good pic. Blue-Eyes! Red-Eyes! EXODIA!!!!!! Yu-Gi-Oh Simply relies on EPIC pics.

caner5000
Just ignore what people say about your vanillas, and im sorry but blurry pictures just make a card not worth anything, If you want I can help you get your pics unblury.
-Griffin
Pictures are worthless. Vanillas are almost always worthless, because they're either completely non-viable or completely non-balanced. Making good vanillas requires a lot of care in making sure they're supported to a point that they have a valid use in a Deck. If you don't do that, and explain the use well, expect poor reviews on them.
Guest JoshIcy
Pictures are worthless. T_T That hurts. I actually go into photoshop and spend about 1hr editing the image. However, I do agree that it should not affect the overall score of the card in anyway; and stick purely to personal opinion.
Seta
Pictures are not worthless =/ They symbolize the card and it's effect.Vanillas usually get a bad rating, which doesn't suprise me at all. People think that vanillas are not interesting, as do I, but the other part I can't stand is people wanting the effects like superlongsoyoucan'tevenseethetextwithoutamicroscope. Legend Zero
If you're posting in Realistic Cards then the pic SHOULD matter. Real cards have pics that aren't blurry and most of the time "fit" the name.
インフェルニティ・ミラージュ
That's not always true, sometimes vanilla cards can be good. I like them just as much as the others.
Limited Edition KING
Yes, I too am sick of people rating badly just because the card is a Vanilla. It doesn't help at all when a member posts "0/10 Becuz itz a vanilla" how does this help any card maker at all? I like Vanilla's and want to help bring them to the top of Card Making or close to it they deserve more respect than this. If members post "Bad picture" then they could be right about it, members don't like it when an image is stretched, blurred and does not have a background. You should try fixing this in the future when making any card whether it be vanilla or not. But if you plan on making alot of vanilla's I suggest you make the card image respectable. If you state a lot of something it really helps if you name more than one of that thing. Also please dont double post go into edit and remove the "hr" code. Tunerwizard
Examples of perfectly FINE vanillas (where did that name come from XD)BEWDDark MagicianGene Warped WarwolfREBDMust I go on? Also, the picture of a card greatly show how the artist flows with his/her idea.Would you put the effect "Destroy everything on the field"onto a card named "Harmless Fluffles"?(that was an EXAGGERATED example-I know its OP'ed...) I am very good at making creative stories to go with these cards, maybe sometimes if you actually read them it might make more sense where the creator was coming from. Master of Chaos™
Okay it's like this. There is a Reason why Members give some New Members High Rates and some Bad Rates. You need to see it this way. Members who give new Members High Rating just because the are new is their way of saying "eh he's a Newb let's make him happy." And they give some New Members Low Ratings because they know that they have Potential and for them to further increase their Potential they tell them how they can improve the Card. So if you see it this way, you are actually treated like you have Potential so they have to Criticize you. Now Vanillas, they are Good Cards and nobody should say they aren't Vanillas were always Good Cards they have had Support and no one needs to offend them. Dark Magician is a Great Card so they gave it support. BEWD and REBD were both Good Vanillas and they Got Support as well. And not to even talk about Ojamas. They got a little too much Support. So basically they are Good. And finally the Picture. The Picture makes the Card so people have to Rate it as well. A person can decide to run a Card in their Deck just because of the Picture. Better said the whole Yu-Gi-Oh World is so revered because of some of the Epic Pictures. I hope you found this Little(ha,ha) Post helpful.

Guest
I browsed the log of all topics the topic creator had created. He had none in Realistic Cards, so I entered a random one from Any Other Cards. This is what I found: Yeah, a 2000/0 one-Tribute monster with no support and which is not only WATER Attribute but also Water-Type is real good design. Everyone on this site is obviously a philistine for not appreciating your cardmaking genius.
