Ven looked at Reina and got an idea. He took Fenrir from his back and held it in his hand. He looked at Reina and said,"Hop on my back. I'll take care of the walking. I just want you to use your sense of smell to make sure where the enemy is." He got on one knee and said,"Go on, just think of it as a piggy back ride like when you were younger."

Jecht drew his sword when Reina said she could smell someone nearby. He didn't use his sword much except for survival as a cutting tool. Jecht knew some basic moves but really he wsd s hunter not a fighter. He could use his powers to fight but again he never learned how to fight efficently. I guess we'll find out if I can hold my own in a fight or not today. He thought feeling nervous now.

"Piggy back?" She looked confused. Reina knew he told her to get on his back but had no idea what piggy back was. She climbed onto his back and held on. Reina pointed where the scent was coming from. Should I really be doing this? What if they get hurt? Reina started going deep into thought again.

Ven stood up as soon as Reina got on his back. "Alright Reina..I want you to hold on tight." he said as he held Fenrir at his side. "And when you pick up any scent...tell me and Jecht and we'll protect you. We'll either get you out of here, or we'll fight the opponent. Do you got that, princess?" he asked looking at Reina.

"Yes sir..." She told him. Reina held onto him. She felt strange since she was wearing a sweater dress and she was on his back. Reina wasn't wearing shoes, just leggings, so she wouldn't lose any shoes when moving. Reina blushed some. She was trying to keep her tail down. It kept lifting her dress up some. Reina kept blushing and trying to hide it.

Jecht saw Reina's dress being lifted up by her tail. He felt extremely embarressed for seeing it so he walked infront of the two to hide his bright red face. He has his dao sword at the ready still nervous about them being attacked. I got this. I got this. No problem. I can crush them with my power over the earth. He reassured himself. He started feeling a bit more confident but was still nervous. He never was in a real fight. This makes behind stranded in the forest seem easy.

Reina wondered what was wrong with Jecht. She noticed his face was red as he passed by. She was hoping he wasn't getting sick. "He's that way." Reina pointed. The wind blew and she caught a strong whife of the scent. She knew they were close. The collar started to burn her more. "!?" She let out a squeal.

Jecht turned to Reina as she squealed but turned back to where she pointed. His heart was racing as adrenaline rushed through his veins. He knew they were going to get attacked. I'm ready, bring it on. He decided not to be afraid, which was not easy for Jecht. His stubbornness was showing through. He had been lost in the desert for a week with a gnarly gash in his arm, leaving it unusable. He could take a couple of guys in a fight. He had the power of the earth on his side.

Her head jerked up and a light surrounded them. Reina put a barrier around them as arrow shot at them. A man walked out of the shadows. "Little Reina learned a new trick." He grinned. The barrier went down. Reina glared at him. She held onto Ven not saying a word.

as Ayano watched what was going on from in the trees she thought to herself Should I help them maybe i should wait until that mysterious man gets weaker and weaker before i make my move i will have to stay up here until im either spotted or the time is right to make my move Ayano tried her best to keep as quiet as possible so she wouldnt get spotted

Jecht looked at the man began using his dao sword in a circular motion add he had been taught. Determiniation shone in his eyes. He was ready to go to battle. He was confident he could block any arrows that came at him with his powers and attack at the same time. He swung his foot in a large circle picking rocks from the ground which formed a large boulder in the middle of the circle and kicked the boulder sending it at the man at the speeds of a car.

He pulled his large sword out that was bigger than his own self and sliced it right through the boulder. It cut it right in half missing him compleatly. Reina wanted to help but the pain increased. The man grinned and looked at her. "Learn your place you worthless animal!" The collar started to glow and Reina started to scream out in pain. She fell off Ven's back trying to pull the collar off. She could feel the electricity flow from the collar through her body.

Jecht heard Reina's scream and deducted that the man behind this definatly had something to do with her pain. The guy's sword would definatly pose some problems for Jecht, but the thing was it was too large. They were in the closed space of the forest. There's a reason sword's aren't made that long. It would run into the ground and would be extremely diffucult to use. If Jecht could get past the tip of the blade he knew he could kill him. Jecht ran forward his sword twirling in a motion that could easily be used for both offense and defense. His eyes followed the sword.

The man swung his sword at Jecht. Reina was struggling to get up. Her tears just made the pain worse since it was water and she was being shocked. How much longer would she last? Reina didn't think she would stay conscious much longer. She didn't know if she would even stay alive much longer. But they were sent to retreieve her so they couldn't kill her could they?

Ayano thinks to herself thats it I cant just watch from afar i have to help a fireball forms in her hand and she says in thought take this you mysterious man throws the fireball towards the man

The man blocked with his sword. He looked over at Reina and she screamed louder. "Keep it up. Your friend may not last much longer." He laughed seeing how much pain she was in. Reina tried to get on her hands and knees but fell back to the ground. She was losing consciosness. She wanted to call for help but didn't. She had never done that before and wasn't going to start now.

Ayano comes down from up in the tree's and brings forth the Enriha her familys sacred sword and then pointed it a Reina " there is somthing I must say to Mistress Reina" there was a quick puase of silence and then Ayano spoke "YOUR PAIN ENDS HERE MISTRESS REINA" Ayano swings here blade at Reina's neck causeing the collar to shortcurciut and fall off

The collar sparked then suddenly reattacted to her neck. Reina fell unconscious barely breatheing. Her mind was filled up with so many thoughts that she was having nightmares. She layed on the ground her body jerked a bit from being shocked. The collar was no longer shocking her but her body still ached. The man looked at them. "See, you cannot remove the collar yourself."

Ven looked at the man before him and gripped Fenrir in his hands. He looked back at Reina and said,"You...MONSTER!!!" He ran straight towards the man and slashed at him. He continued to endlessly slash the man over and over again. "Stop it....STOP HURTING REINA!!!" he said as he slashed the man's leg.

The man blocked but stepped back when Ven got his leg. There was a noise nearby and the man looked at him. "I will be back and I will get the girl." He knocked Ven back and ran off. Reina was still unconscious on the ground. She looked so calm and peaceful as she layed there. Her mind was filled with thoughts even as she was unconscious.

Ven got up and ran over to Reina. He put Fenrir on the ground and picked up Reina and said,"Reina...Reina come on...wake up. Please wake up..." He put two fingers on Reina's neck and tried to feel a pulse. He felt on and let out a sigh of relief. "Good...shes still alive.." he said with a slight smile as he knew she was still alive.

"Master....I'm sorry...." She whispered. Reina started to wake up but it hurt so much to move. Her whole body was tingling. She glanced at Ven. "I'm sorry. Is everyone okay?" She asked. Reina blamed herself for what happened. They still tried to help even though their own lives were in danger. She didn't understand them at all. Why fight for someone you barely know? Reina could tell that they cared about her. Why though? Did they feel bad for her? Or was it something else?

"We're alright, Reina." Ven said with a smile. He looked around and said,"So who was that? Was that little son of gun? Was he someone that your master sent after you..." He thought about the man that attacked him and said,"Well whoever he is....he was an interesting swordsman. I wouldnt mind fighting him again."

"He was sent by master.....He smelt so badly of blood...That's how I found him..." Reina told him. She forced herself to sit up and was about to stand. The feeling was still there. Even though the collar had stopped she was still in pain. She was still trying to figure out if they could kill her or not. Was he trying to kill her or just knock her out so she wouldn't struggle? She may never know. Reina just knew she needed to stop thinking so much.

Ven smiled and said,"Well as long as we have that nose of yours...we'll be able to find out whose around us and how we can avoid them." He looked at Reina and said,"Alright, well get back on my back and I'll do the walking." He grabbed Fenrir and waited for Reina to get back on his back.
