-Meanwhile-

Heedra had finally returned to the Malevolent Dimension with Maverick who was still asleep at the moment. "Good now that our young master is safe and out of Judas's evil ways!" said Heedra who turned towards the large opened portal. "......huh!" said Maverick as he started to wake up and noticed he wasn't under the tree but found himself in a dark barren world. "Maverick your awake!" said Heedra as he looked at him. "HOLY CRAP!" Maverick shouted in fear and suddenly started backing away, but he was stopped by the Stealth Demons who appeared behind him. He still freaked and turned around but realized he was trapped. "So what are you going to do to me eat me?!" Maverick asked cowarding. Heedra lifted his hand and said,"Nope just this!" That's when he pointed his pointer finger out and stabbed Maverick in the forehead, but it didn't kill him but the exact opposite. Heedra's fingers glowed blue as Maverick starred and started to scream because he could feel pain. In an instant it stopped and Heedra pulled his fingers out of Mavericks head and what happened was a miracle. "Heedra?" Maverick said in confusion. "Yes Maverick I have restored most of your memory." replied Heedra. "Well I'll thank you for that but I have a question where's that girl?" asked Maverick. Heedra lifted his head looked in confusion,"You mean Reina?" he asked. "YES!" Maverick replied. "Well she was missing when we got here!" Heedra had said with a straight face. "WHAT!?" Maverick said in shock as he stood up. "In that case I'll be out again!" Maverick said. "But sir let me go with you!" Heedra requested. Maverick turned and replied, "Fine! Let's go!" Then that's when they jumped through the portal to search for Reina.

Reina sneezed. She had a feeling someone was talking about her somewhere. She looked over at Will and saw him eyeing her. Reina blushed not knowing how to react. She glanced away wondering why he was acting the way he was. Reina continued to blush. She would look at him everyone in a while. She was fighting the urge to read his mind. What was he thinking? Was there something wrong with her? Reina looked at her butt and tail to see if anything was wrong. She thought maybe he didn't like her sweater dress and and how short it was. Reina tried to pull it down farther hoping it would help.

Will watched her fumble with her clothes and look away. He didn't look away from her, he could hold himself back from getting close to her and holding her. His father would consider the feelings will was having as weak and immature. Will's eyes almost began to water so he turned around. "Why am I getting so emotional? This is just some girl, a girl who I can help... Someone to talk to. So, Snap out of it Will... She doesn't feel the same way about you and telling her about your feelings wouldn't be helping anyone!" Will thought to himself and he wiped his eyes.

Reina held her dress down and kept walking that way. She hoped he wasn't watching her. Her face got red. Not looking where she was Reina tripped over a tree root. She landed face first in the dirt. Her dress had come up since she let go to catch herself. Reina spat out dirt. Her whole front was covered in dirt. Blood trickled down her chin from her lip. She had bit through her lip when she fell. She got on her hands and knees examining the damage. She looked herself over making sure she was okay.

"You sure are selfish Will, you always are..." That is what Will thinks what his father would say to him now if he was around. Will heard something hit the ground and turned to find Riena covered in dirt and bleeding from her lip. She seemed to doing just fine but Will felt like he should at least ask. He walked up to her and knealt down near her. "Are you okay? ... I am so sorry for the way I have been acting, I'll stop..." Will said, he was determined to help Riena, for some reason he couldn't quite figure out. This whole scenario seemed to be making sense before, but now that Will is looking at the whole picture, it doesn't seem to make much sense at all.

Reina looked at him. "I will be fine. I'm used to pain. I've been through worse." she sat on her knees and wiped the blood from her lip. Reina stood up. She looked over at Will again. She was confused about what he had said. Why was he sorry? And what was he going to stop? Her tail twitched nervously. She looked around then back at him. "we should stop for the night" Reina said since the sun was nearly gone in the sky.

Will agreed with Riena. "It might get cold... should I go get fire wood?" Will asked. His eyes traced back over Riena again, something about her tail's twitching told Will that she was confused. He sighed and sat down. His body wanted to shift every second now, before it only told him to change when the situation called. But now, his body seems to have gone crazy. "Why am I so messed up now? It couldn't be Riena... Hormones? no... hmmm..." Will thought.

Reina nodded. She thought maybe with him getting wood she wouldn't be doing anything wrong. She felt something was wrong with Will and thought it was something she had done. Reina had heard his thoughts and it just made her believe it was her fault even more. She stayed quiet hoping it would help. Reina looked away. It was her fault and she knew it. She was starting to wish she was back with her master. Shaking the thought awayshe started picking up some sticks for a fire.

Will Transformed into his full wolf form and began to run around, picking up large sticks in his teath. He got a mouth full and ran back near Riena. He chomped down on the large sticks and snapped them in half, to good sizes. He transformed back and had a feeling something was wrong. He sighed. "Hey...Riena... is something wrong? Well, besides someone is coming after you and you don't know where your home is..."

"Nothings wrong." she smiled. "what makes you think something is wrong?" her smile was fake but it looked real. Reina piled the sticks up and stared at them. The wood caught fire and she scooted back some. That was one spell that never backfired on her. Reina didn't look at Will. She just stared at the flames in front of her. Their moment clearing her mind of everything.

Will Watched Riena as she looked at the flames. Something seemed to be wrong at first, but if she insisted that she was okay, then Will couldn't argue. He sighed deeply and walked around the fire till he was tired. He sat down and looked the flames to Riena's eyes, she seemed fine. He sighed again and got on his back. His tail growing out and his hair getting longer. His transformation isn't under control while he sleeps sometimes.

Reina glanced over at Will then back at the fire. Her smile faded when she saw him not watching. She sighed and lowered her head on her knees. She wasn't going to sleep like all the nights before. She didnt want the nightmares back. Reina wanted to forget but couldn't, she sighed again sitting there. She watched the flames again. If she got to Heartfall would she be sold or kicked out again? She would deal with it when it comes.

Rai had been traveling away from the mansion for hours. Once he had finally convinced himself that he was not being followed, he decided to stop for the night. He glanced around at his surroundings. There was scarcely any fauna, and the only sign of water was a small trickling stream at the bottom of a gulch near by. "Great, I'm in the middle of nowhere......I really should have paid attention where I was going when I was fleeing the mansion." Sighing to himself he started to gather wood and pieces of brush for a fire, but to little avail. He lit what he had found using a small flame that he had summoned at his fingertip and sat down in front of the low fire staring into the depths of the flames. He couldn't shake the sense of failure from his mind; the sense of despair for not saving someone when he had the chance. "How......how could I have not made it in time? Did he.....did that monster of a man kill her?" he had mumbled to himself, "Or, could she have escaped?" He tried to gather up his memories of his short time in Heartfall, trying to remember any scrap of memory he had about Reina. He had remembered that name when he lived there for a year. But who was she? He faintly remembered that she was important. Was she just a person who was well known? No, it wasn't just that......she was more than just that. It had came to him suddenly, and surprised him that he hadn't realized it sooner. She was the princess. The princess of Heartfall. And he had failed to rescue her. This had only made him feel even more like a failure. He sighed to himself again before lying down in front of the now glowing embers, slowing drifting into the restless void of his waking dreams.

Will Was sweating, he had a fevor and his whole body was trembling. In his dream, a giant lion was fighting a giant black wolf. The setting was a little weird, it was a large field with blue grass. The sky was purple and the large shiny moon was around 4 times the size of the real one. The Black wolf howled and pounced on the large lion, bitting into it's shoulder and tearing back. The Lion roared and swatted the over sized black wolf away. The lion's wounds seemed to heal and it stood back up and swung an extended paw into the Black wolf's rib cage, catching claws into the skin and pulling back. This left the black wolf howling on its side, large cuts and damamge to its rub cage have been done. Will sat up quickly, he was in a lot of pain. He threw a hand to his side, he sighed when he saw no blood was on his hand. Will breathed quickly and looked over at Riena, he was about 75% giant black wolf mode. By now, he should have just fully morphed into the full thing, but he was stuck for a moment. His large tail wrapped around his arm and squeezed for a few seconds.

Reina was at his side. She had an expressionless look on her face. She had seen his dream. "I saw it. Your dream." Reina grabbed his hand. "it's okay to be afraid." she whispered. She hoped her friends were okay. Friends. She had friends. Reina kept watching Will and holding his hand. "I wish I could help more." Reina whispered. The wind blew gently blowing clouds in. Reina's hair blew in her face but she ignored it.

Will was freaking out, his shoulder hurt and he was covered in sweat. His face was shifting a little between phases of human and wolf while his body followed back and forth. He grew a little bit of black fur all over and Wolf ears. His face fell back to human and he grew a black lion's mane. He grew paw-like hands and his feet sorta did the same. His shirt ripped a bit as his chest and shoulders grew larger, he was getting taller. He stopped transforming. He tried to at least get into either human or wolf form, but he was stuck in a Wolf-lion-human like state. He sat up, no more pain. He looked down at his paw-hands, tiny claws poked out. He had whiskers. "This... is... so ... not... funny..." He struggled with his slightly shifted vocal cords.

ReIna leaned over and kissed him hoping it would help. She sat back watching him. Her heart raced as she waited. Reina was scared. She didn't know how to help. Was he in pain or under a spell? She started to cry as she shook. What was she suppose to to? All she could think of was sit there and not touch him now.

 

Heartfall-

 

Rein walked around the palace. He was figuring something out. He couldn't stand being there anymore. Rein headed for the main gate of the city. He was leaving. He was going to leave Heartfall. Rein wasn't going to listen to his parents trying to make up more stories of Reina being kidnapped. He was going to find his youngest sister and bring her home where she belonged.

Maverick and Heedra finally came out of the portal,"Okay I think it's smart to split up!" said Maverick. Heedra looked down at Maverick and asked,"Sir are you sure we should do that cause what if Judas appears?" Maverick just looked at Heedra and gave him a stare that said that's not the point right now! Heedra just followed what Maverick had said so he flew off. Maverick had looked at his wrist and noticed something,"My charm that protected me from outside world it's gone! Does that mean I couldn't come out because of Judas possesing me?" he asked himself and sprouted his demon wings and flew off in the opposite direction of Heedra.

 

Meanwhile

 

Judas was hiding in the darkness of the night as he laid eyes on people of villages. "AAAHHH! This will be fun!" he smirked as he lifted one hornet stinger and flames shuffled around it, but something awkward happened Judas's stinger started fading shaking and the flames started to die. "AAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHH! What the hell is this pain in side of me?" he uttered as he fell and started shaking like his stinger which morphed back into a hand. "Is this happening cause I seperated myself from that kid?" he asked himself as he was on top of a building on his knee's.

Rein walked farther from the palace and kept going. He had a goal and nothing was going to stop him. Reina was going to be found and brought home safely. The heir and heart of Heartfall was going to be no longer missing. He was gonna give his life and soul for her.

 

Meanwhile

 

Reina was walking farther into the woods looking around frightened. She shook as the dark forest seemed to close in around her. Sounds of the dark screamed out at her. Reina wanted to be somewhere else but here. Her heart raced. She thought someone was calling out to her. She tensed up when something crawled againist her foot. Reina let out a loud scream and took off running.

Will Became full Black wolf. He lay on his large black-furred tummy and watched Riena walking around like she was alone. His nostrils became full of a familiar smell, but he didn't follow it because he didn't want to leave this girl alone. The large black wolf stood and followed Riena like a puppy. He wondered if she noticed he was there. His paws shivered a little on the cold forest floor. His tail wagged quickly as he followed her. "At this rate, I'll be someones pet before I could actually help anyone." Will thought, his wolf form won't let him talk.

Reina saw Will and jumped. Everything around her went back to normal. She thought she had lost control again. Reina took a deep breath and looked over at Will once more. "Sorry. I was lost in thought." Reina felt ashamed for forgetting he was there. She went to him and hugged him. Reina didn't know what was going on with Will but she wished she could help. Her heart started to return to it's normal beat and she sat down. "I'm sorry. I'm so useless." Reina lowered her head. She was trying to figure out where to go next. A small bunny hopped by her and she sighed again. She figured she was to tired to use her magic or something because she didn't even sense the rabbit nearby. Another sigh came from her.

Will Started thinking. "She is tired, I'm not. We need to keep going. If we stay at this pace, she could be found." He stood on his wolf paws and walked over to a nice tree. He started to claw at it and claw at it. Eventually the tree fell and he continued to claw at it till he finished his wood-work. Will dragged, the sled he just made, over to Riena. He pat the seat and signeled for her to get in. His fluffy ears twitched a little. The wind was getting cold. They should hurry. Wills tail started to wag from excitement.

Reina looked at him. She shook her head not wanting him to carry her like a princess. "I will be fine." She told him. Reina started walking off alone not caring where she went. Her hope was starting to fade. An arrow flew right by her ear and stopped in a tree in front of her. Reina turned around and large men with bows, swords, and shields jumped down out of trees. Each one holding their own weapon they were best at. Another arrow was shot at Reina hitting her in the shoulder. Another flew at Will. Her master had sent his men after her again. Reina yanked the arrow from her and the arrowhead had broke off still in her. She put a barrier up around Will knocking the arrow away from him. She glared at the men.

Rai woke up with a start, glancing around cautiously. He had thought that he had heard the sound of soldier's footsteps nearby. Standing up slowly and trying not to make the slightest noise, he crept to the edge of the clearing and peered in the direction that he had assumed the sound to come from. By using his keen sense of sight, he could make out a group of soldiers charging a hidden target. Heading in the direction of his newly discovered adversaries in an attempt to ambush them from behind. Any enemy of the empire is a friend of mine. Now, to pull off this ambush right.... Reaching the top of a nearby craggy outcropping, he peered over the edge at the cluster of soldiers. Damn....I didn't realize how many of them there were. Taking them down without swords is going to be a challenge......just how I like it. Standing up, he calmed his mind of any worries or distractions before vaulting of the cliff.

 

 

He landed in the middle of a group of soldiers that were firing at Rai's still unidentified allies. His sudden appearance startled them, and he took advantage of the moment by ending their lives with a jet of white flame from each of his palms. He couldn't help but smile at the other soldier's reactions to the now smoldering corpses. "Well....there goes the element of surprise." Some of the soldier's fled at this, and some turned their aggression towards him, but still some continued to attack their initial target. "Well now, this really doesn't seem to be a fair fight now does it? I mean its only all of you against one little own me, it just doesn't seem like you possibly have a chance. Oh well, I just guess fate wasn't on your sides today." He jerked his arms upward, palms open towards the group of now advancing soldiers. "Franza." White flame shot towards the crowd of adversaries, and soon numerous exclamations of agony were heard.
