Reina stared at the fish. She couldn't eat it no matter how hungry she was. She thought that they needed the food more. She stared at them trying to figure out what was going on. Her tail twitched. She sat down watching. Reina pawed at the fish starting to play. She seemed to forget there may be danger around.

 

OCC- I'm so sorry Ket. I did not see your post. My iPod keeps acting up. I just hope it doesn't have a virus or anything.

The spirit showed a degree of fear at Rai. "M...myu...ahh..." The apparition attempted to speak but no words came. It was like so many other times he needed to speak, to scream, to cry, But no words could come. "ahh...myuu..ahh." He said putting his tendrils up in a gesture of peace. The only way he could show that he harbored no ill will twords them. And certainly no malicious intent for Reina. "Re...rei...nnnn..." He tried once more to say why he was here but he failed. So he simply extended a tendril of cool spiritual fire twords Reina in what was almost a handshake.

Noelle had been watching the aparition out of the corner of her eye for some time now. Whatever it was obviously didn't seem malicious, but she had learned that at any time even the kindest of spirits woul go wild with rage if you insulted them, so she never let her guard down. When the thing started a pathetic attempt to speak it almost hurt her ears, more than once trying to say it's own name and what it was here for, yet she still did not see any need to strike first. "It is possible this is merely a hungry ghost," she thought remembering the fish which laid on the heated stones, but when it reached out for the cat beside her instincts took hold. Quickly raising her hand whatever water that had surrounded them sliced at the phantasm's 'flesh' to force it back; Noelle knew she could actually hurt the spirit, as her ability was derived from spiritual magic.

 

"Do not come . . . any . . . closer," she scowled while leaning forward to pick the cat up, placing the feline in her lap, "Or I will . . . send . . . you to the . . . nether~world . . ."

Reina watched them confused. She seemed to be being fought over. Reina was trying to figure out what the spirit wanted from her. "meow" she was still too tired to transform back. Her eyes didn't move from them. She didn't know why people kept moving her. Reina started to lick her paws and rub her face to try and make her feel cleaner. She hated feeling dirty. Her paws ached from walking so much. Reina continued to clean herself as she watched and listened. She stood up and walked away from the group. Her ears twitching as she listened.

Ven noticed the phantasm, same as Rai and Noelle and quickly grabbed Fenrir. He stood up and pointed it at the phantasm and said,"Unless you want to die......again, I suggest you get the hell outta here." He looked back at the cat that was on Noelle's lap and thought, Why does that cat....seem, familiar? Its like I've seen it before..... He looked back at the phantasm and said,"One last time for you to turn back and leave us alone! Cause there is one thing that is pushing me to go on...I'm saving Reina and I'll stop anyone in my path that will make sure I don't reach that goal!!"

The spirit gave a hiss when Noelle struck his tendril of flame. "Ahh!! wh...whyy.." Why did you strike? I meant no harm!! He wanted to shout but they were corporeal beings who could not hear the plight of spirits. Such was the curse of being dead. "I...sssvv...I svve...Reeiii..." The spirit attempted to explain to Ven that he only wished to grant Reina's desire to go home. "Iiii...heelll..Myu...helll..." He extended his hand and materialised a mass of solid gold in his ethereal fire. "Iii...crrr...nnhh..yyy...desirrr..." He moaned explaining his power to create materials of human greed, Wealth, Food, Weapons, Humans had lusted after these things for eternity and now so was the power he demonstrated.

Meanwhile, Wilson (aka Judas) and Maverick were asleep under a tree in the moonlight. Wilson had gotten up and stared at Maverick and thought to himself,"What a pathetic fool I should kill him right now but that wouldn't be any fun now would it!" Judas looked toward the moon and transformed back into his normal demonic/Maverick self. "I hope I can restore your memory we have unfinished business!" Judas said with an evil smirk as could hear commotion coming from somewhere else. "What the hell is that racket!" he said to himself as he spread his wings and put them around himself to shroud himself in darkness so no one could see him as he headed in the direction of the sound.

 

Meanwhile

Heedra kept flying through the night around the village to find Maverick but kept thinking to himself,"Oh God what if I killed him? No that can't be it'd take more than that supernova explosion to kill him! I just hope he's okay!" at that he let his eyes glow red so he could see in night vision and that's when he noticed a swift wing shrouded figure and realized it was Judas with his wings covering him to hide him in the darkness. "That bastard I'll kill him!" he grred as he swooped but stopped when he noticed that there were people up ahead. "I can't keep going it I'm spotted I'll be causing more damage then I already have!' he said as he flew back up and spyed in the sky on them.

Noelle saw that the specter was able to form a bar of gold in his hands and was seemingly offering it to them. Putting her sword away she didn't make a grab for the money, which is probably what others might've thoguth she would do, but instead put her hand up to stop the thing. She wasn't good at talking to spirits, even those of the forest, but another trick Noelle had learned might come in handy right about now. Looking back to Ven she asked, "Cornhusk . . . doll . . . you have one . . . right now?"

 

It wasn't so much of a secret trick, more common knowledge, that Noelle was going to act upon. Since the spirit didn't seem to be as dangerious as she first thought, even she was willing to give him the benifet of the doubt and see what it truly wanted. The cornhusk doll was to give the spirit a 'corpral' form which it could possess without causing any harm. Thus, while possessing the doll, the spirit could interact with htem more clearly and they'd finally be able to learn what it was the thing wanted.

 

Meanwhile

 

"So that assassin has yet to report in?" the younger brother stated with a grimace, he knew he shouldn't have trusted that man, but at the current situation it did not matter. Turning to face one of his new generals, hired within the week, he stared into the man's firey red eyes, "Can you bring back the Princess?"

 

Standing at least seve feet tall the man looked down at the young brother, his red eyes glowing form underneath the black robe he wore, "For the right price . . . I would kill kings!"

Reina kept walking away. She didnt want to witness another fight. She had seen another to last a lifetime. She kept walking away not knowing which way she was going. She didnt want to get in the way so she would be better off on her own. Reina looked around trying to figure out if she was moving somewhere safe. She stopped and sighed. "Why am i so bad at finding my way?" She lowered her head.

 

Meanwhile in Heartfall

 

Rein stared at the council and walked out of the room. He was angry. No one had listened to him at all. The heart of Heartfall was no longer there so why were they still looking within the village? He knew where the heart of Heartfall was and it wasn't there.

Ven looked at Noelle and heard her say 'cornhusk doll' and then said,"Umm, no. I'm a guy and most guys don't play with cornhusk dolls. And another thing, why would I carry one in the first place???" He really didn't know what Noelle would want with a cornhusk doll, he really just wanted the spirit to get the hell away from there. That and to find out something about that small cat that Noelle put in her lap. He'd seen it before, but he wanted to know if it who he thought it was.

Meanwhile, Judas continued towards the ruckus using his pitch black wings to cloak himself in darkness. When he finally reached the ruckus he could see Ven, Rai and Noelle arguing with a creature that seemed to be making things out of nothing. "What a disappointment. I thought there was something over here that would be interesting." he whispered to himself as he stayed hidden. He quietly jumped into a nearby tree that had a closer view to the action. "Maybe I can hear what there saying but first a snack." he whispered again has he made a silent breathing as the lit fires smoke slowly went towards him and tiny flares went towards the tree one-by-one. "Now time to sit back and enjoy the show." he thought to himself while he continued inhaling the flares.

William stood tall in his giant dark wolf form, it felt so natural too run around and get lost. He kept walking, not understanding where he was. His eyes fell on a very strange looking cat. His eyes followed the cat and the people near-by. Will wanted too move, but he couldn't. It has been a long time since Will has been around so many humans, he may have even developed a fear for them. Will went back into human form and called out too the strange cat too get its attention.

Reina stopped when she heard someone call out. She turned and saw the stranger. Her went back as she slowly walked upto Will and sniffed his leg. Once she got his scent she meowed at him. Her stomach growled since she never got to eat because she left. Reina meowed at him hoping that he would understand her. She needed food and rest before she could transform back to normal. Her eyes stared up at him. She was just the size of a kitten so she didn't come up far past his ankle. Reina continued meowing.

Will tried his best too get down too eye level with the kitten. He think he could understand most of what she was saying, but it was different. "Are you hungry?" He asked. He thought he heard her say something like that. Will reached into his back pocket and retrieved some sweet berries. "This should be good!" Will brought the berries near the kitten, but not right too her. He had the feeling that the kitten would get scared if he went too fast. Will looked up at the group of people nearby, wondering what was wrong.

Reina walked up to the berries and started to eat them. Once they were gone she smiled up at Will. "thank you. That really helped." Reina's tail twitched. She felt like she could trust him. She hoped that a talking cat wouldn't scare him away. She thought maybe hecould help.

Will laughed and sat up. His Black wolf tail wanted too poke out. His eyes followed Riena's tail. His head almost started too move back in forth while he watched it. He almost didn't hear her. "Hahaha... I hope it helped too... Are you going somewhere? Do you have a place too be?" Will asked, nervously laughing. His ear twitched and almost transformed against his permision. He moved quickly too scratch his head in an attempt too hide the twitch. Will was not sure if Riena saw anyway.

Reina smiled. "I'm trying to get to Heartfall but I'm lost. I don't know which way to go." she saw him go to scratch. She looked over at the others that were fighting. I was traveling with them but I don't want to endanger them." she lowered her head. Reina still couldn't control her powers. She didn't want the guy to know she was a princess. People would pay alot of money for her. Part of her was telling her to go back to her master. She was just too afraid to though.

Will thought that something was troubling Riena. "So... I could help you get too heartfall, I am not sure where it is. If those people are fighting, then over what?." Will felt very confused. "I don't have anywhere too go, or anything too do... But May I ask something?" His black wolf fur started to grow a little, his brown hair grew longer and darker. Will did not always have full control over his transformations and he prefers human form when someone is comfortable too talk too. He didn't want too scare her, but his transformation might. His teeth grew a little sharper, it was getting troublesome too hold back.

She watched him transform. "yes? What is it?" she didn't know whether to run or stay. Was he an enemy? Reina's eyes stayed on him. What if he was working for her master? He didn't seem like someone that would betray her. She smiled at him hoping it would help. Her heart beat increased.

Will's body pulled through the transformation and he lay down too keep as close too eye-level with Riena as he could. "You wouldn't mind if I came with you... would you?" Will asked, his big wolf face seemed kinda goofy. His fluffy-Puppy like ears flopped into his eyes. The last thing too change was his vocal chords. Will wasn't sure if Riena would still understand him. He didn't want too howl by accident and scare her away. His tail waved back and forth, mostly because of the wind.

"Hmph, this is boring the cats having more excitement!" said Judas still hiding in the tree, he decided to come out and started heading back to Maverick who was sleeping under a tree. Before he finally made it to Maverick, Heedra finally swooped at him and nailed Judas to a tree and started to asking questions. "Where is Maverick? What have you done to him?" "HEEDRA!" said Judas nervously starring at Heedra's soulless eyes. "Oh you want him! He's over there!" smirked Judas who pointed one of his hornet stingers at Maverick's sleeping body. That's when a blue flame started to bulid up at the tip of it. "If you dare to move I'll kill him where he stands!" said Judas with an evil laughter, but Heedra didn't listen to him and flew towards him but Judas did as he said and fired. Heedra and the flame collided and made an explosion. When the smoked cleared Heedra survived the blast and protected Maverick but Judas had disappeared. Heedra turned to see Maverick asleep. "I haven't seen that emotion-filled face since that day!" he tought to himself. "I better take you back to the Malevolent Dimension!" said Heedra roared open a portal and it sucked Maverick and Heedra in to it.

"of course you can come. I don't mind. "she smiled. Reina heard a noise and turned her head. No one was there. She looked back at Will. "I'm Reina of Heartfall. It's nice to meet you and have you come along." Reina thought it was a good time for a nap. She curled up on the ground.

Will blinked. His transformation was not going too give in, for now, he was stuck as a giant black wolf. His teeth and and claws looked tenacious but his ears and eyes seemed more playful. Will was getting tired and wondered what was next. Riena was curling up on the ground in front of Will. He was getting hungry, so he decided too watch over Riena and protect her until she was awake again. After that, he would go hunt something or maybe even turn back into human and eat some berries.

Will's tummy grumbled a little as he lay low, watching for any predator or person that might want too hurt Riena.

Reina woke about an hour later. She lifted her head and looked at Will. "I'm sorry I fell asleep." she sat up and licked her paws then wiped her face. Once she finished she looked at him again. "what do we do now?" she didn't even think that he would hurt her. She rubbed up againist him. Reina hoped he wouldn't mind.

Will was a bit sleepy when Riena woke up. So he yawned and felt his tummy growl. "I think I should find something too eat, but other than that, do you know where we need too go from here too get too where you are going?" Will didn't know places well, and he would not be much use too her on an empty stomach. His tummy roared and turned a little. Will felt a bit weak from starvation, but he was used too it. He sighed and let Riena rub up against him, wondering what too eat. "hmmm..." Will wondered out loud.
