Ven looked at Soul and said,"So why were you looking for swords, Soul? Is it some big secret mission that you were given or something like that??" Ven looked back at Reina, hoping that she would get control of her powers. That would be good for everyone. Hopefully she lose control when she gets upset or get emotional like she was before..Well just as long as I'm with her, she'll probably be alright. Cause I think shes starting to like me Ven thought to himself.

Soul looked up at the Ven with no expression at all as he said "Yes...i was sent by the king of of Abroh..."He strted thinking about the kings mission he had given to him.If he got mad that he went with these...people,Would he kill them?Or would he be perfectly okay?He started to wonder what everyone was thinking right now.Soul stood up and his eyes and ears transformed to there dragon phase. He always felt worried someone was watching him,so he changed often to be sure.If someone really was watching who could it be?

Reina looked at her wondering what she had meant when she said Reina is just like her when she younger. She looked at all of them then stepped out onto the water of the stream. She was standing on the water. Reina liked the feel of the water on her feet. She looked at the others. Were they all ready to get moving. She wanted the collar off before it acted up again.

"And while we . . . travel . . . I will teach . . . Reina," Noelle stated bluntly once more patting the young cat-girl on her head. She didn't know which way they would take so she did not move afterwards, instead waiting for the others to show her which way they'd be heading. If anything Noelle was "excited" about was the prospect of teaching someone who was almost like a young version of what she used to be how to control her powers. Had it been so long that Noelle forgot what it was like? To live in constant issolation from others because she could not control the natural gifts given to her. No. She could still remember the screaming, the smell of burning firewood as mobs of people chased after her through the drifting snow she had created. The Hellbringer of Winter, that was who she was. Who she had been . . .

"So which . . . way?" she asked finally tiring of everyone standing around.

Jecht looked at girl, he didn't really like her, maybe it was that she almost choked Reina trying to steal her collar. "Aslong as its okay with Reina, I guess that'll be okay." Jecht said trying to make what she said like a question even though it was clear she was going to have her way. Jecht pulled out his trusty compass again and pointed, southwest. "That way." He said and began walking again, thinking about home again.

((What time period would this be in. Little towns, New York, before modern houses??))

(Reina lives in a palace so i was thinking like before guns were made. I think its like the feudal era in japan . )

Reina walked on the water following them. SHe the got off the water and back on land. She wanted to stay close. Reina kept quiet. She was deep in thought again trying to remember the songs she had been taught. What were they though? Her memories of her master were in her head again. She hated it. It scared her. All that had happened to her was stuck in her mind. She shook her head shaking the thought form her mind.

"I just thinking about how master treated me before. Now that I ran away I am not used to this." She was having a hard time trying to talk right. She kep forgetting to put the word 'am' in some of her sentances. Reina whispered to herself in Heartfallian. She sighed. Home was so far away. She needed that shaman to help get the collar off. Once that was gone she would go back to Heartfall and be with her family.

Reina smiled and nodded. She silenly started to sing to herself. A soft wind started to blow and the leaves in the trees russled. Reina kept singing quietly to herself in Heartfallian. The words just came to her. She didn't know where she heard the song came from. She just sung it. Reina loved the tune. It made her calm down and relax some. She kept smiling as they followed Jecht. SHe was going to be home. She was going to be free.

Ven smiled when he looked at Reina's smiling face. He removed the hood from his head and let the wind blow through his spiky brown hair. Maybe when this whole thing gets over...maybe, just maybe she might want to go out with me some time. Either that or I could work at the palace, making blades for them. he thought to himself.

"My name . . . is Noelle," she said looking at Ven with a scowl. She then turned her attention back to Reina as they continued to walk, her mind already set on training her to master her powers before they reached Heartfall. Moving beside her she gave him a shove before addressaing Reina, "Summon a . . . ball of water . . . and keep it . . . now."

Noelle knew this would seem like an odd request, but she knew how it would help later out. The only problem she was going to have is if one of the others decided to get in the middle.

Reina kept silently singing and she did what Noelle told her. She made a ball of water in her hand and kept it afloat in air. She didn't stop singing to herself though. She loved the song. She didn't know what it was called but she loved it. It was from her memory from far back. She didn't remember who taught her the song or anything. She wished she could remember though. Reina kept the ball of water in her hand and she kept walking. She wondered what she was going to have to do next.

  • 2 weeks later...

Continuing on their way for a while Noelle would watch as Reina would hold the ball of water in her hand and try to keep it moving. Though it was normally easy to do while standing still this meneal task became harder when she was wlking and climbing over things, the water jiggeling and moving about so much it looked like it would pop at any moment. Noelle knew that if she would drop it before they were ready to make camp then she'd just have to repeat the same thing over and over again, each time getting harder and harder to do as she would add things in to make it so. Finally stopping above the group on a ledge she looked down at Reina, "So is it . . . as easy as . . you . . . thought?"

"Tell you the truth....I've never really had to use my powers before....I never had a reason to use them before. Is that bad thing?" Reina looked at her. She didnt know what else to say. She was looked back at the water and it burst. "Awww. " Reina didn't want to start over but did. She had nothing else to do. She sighed looked at them again. Reina noticed that when she stopped singing to talk she started to have a hard time keeping her powers in control.

"It is . . . good to have . . . no need . . . but mastery is . . . essensial," Noelle said when the water bubble popped. She had also noticed that when Rein spoke she found it eve difficult to leep the water under her control. Ordering her to continue talking, about anything tht came to her mind if need be, she continued along with the group. Though, from what she had gathered, Reina had been sold to some form of wealthy man who treated her cruely and so on. But Noelle's own life was filled with heartbreaks and suffering. It had molded her. It had changed her from the innocent girl she had been in her youth to the cold as ice woman she was now a days. But through all the suffering she had endured at the hands of others and at the hands of the elements she had learned something; she ha learned to master herself.

Reina started to sing to herself. She had more control singing the song that was in her head. She didn't want to talk since it was harder. The water formed in her hand a bit bigger than before. She looked back at them and kept looking between them and the water in her hand. Reina was wondering how much further she needed to go. Her feet were hurting and she was tired. She was scared that her master would come and take her away.

Seeing that Reina wasn't in a 'talkitive' mood Noelle frowned before raising her hand for them to stop; she after all knew the layout of the land probably better than anyone else. Turning around she pushed past everyone until she was standing right in front of Reina, still singing, and scowled at her, "I thought I . . . told you . . . to talk . . ."

The scowl was something that could frighten the biggest of bears and sent chills down Reina's back. If she wasn't going to talk and make the training more difficult the Noelle wqas more than likely to attack just to heat up the training to the utmost intensity she could without purposely trying to kill her. When the thought of doing so crossed her mind Noelle got the closest thing to a smile she could get and got in a fighting stance, "If you no . . . talk . . . then use . . . fists to . . . train yourself . . ."

Ven walked along with Reina and the others. He wanted to talk to Reina, but he didn't want to upset her concentration...so he kept himself quite. So, we're just walking and I want to talk to Reina and I can't. If I do..she'll lose concentration and get upset at me. he thought to himself. Though I really wish I had powers like that...to control elements. That would be cool...but I can't complain. He looked around, just in case if someone was following them. But he was hoping that silvered haired assassin that killed his father was..just so he could kill him once and for all.

"I'm sorry...I'll talk..." Her ears went back and her tail curled around her leg. She didn't like fighting and didn't want to fight cause she knew she would lose. And most likely she would lose control and she didn't want that. The water ball burst in her hands again. She was shaking as she formed another one. "I will talk...Please don't hurt me..."Reina lowered her head. She didn't want anyone to know but she was really scared of all of them there. She was scared of everyone. She didn't know how to trust since her own mother sold her.

Jecht just continued to walk, he was confused when the girl, Noelle, told them to stop. He watched as she got into a fighting position. He didn't like what was happening. He had his sword at the ready if nessicary, and himself. He knew they would have to set up camp soon, its dangerous to travel at night, especially because of the wild animals in the area, and these men that were hunting Reina. He watched as Reina immediatly did what Noelle asked when she threatened to fight. That was very useful information.

Ven saw Jecht eye Noelle and he did the same. He grabbed Fenrir from his back and kept it at his side...just in case he had to use it. He looked at Reina and said,"Don't worry princess, I'll make sure she won't hurt ya. Besides...I think you're doing real well on controlling your powers like that." He smiled and put his hand on her shoulder. "And if you think I'm just saying that...then don't. I actually mean what I just said." he said with a smile.

"If she can't hold a simple ball of water when she talks then how is she supposed to control her powers in a fight?" Jecht said truthfully. "Fake reassurance doesn't help." He said bluntly, and began walking again. "Were gonna have to set up camp soon, its not safe to travel at night under any circumstances." Jecht told them as them were losing light aand he was looking for suitable places that they could rest at.

Reina looked at him. She faked a smile. "Thank you..." The water burst again. Reina kept trying to keep the water in a ball and talk but it kept bursting. One after another. She was tired. She was hungry. Reina didn't tell anyone though. She really was afraid of them. She kept trying to get the water to stay in her hang but it wasn't staying. Reina knew why it wasn't going to work since she was too exuasted. She lowered her head hearing what Jecht had said.
