Soul was suprised they were going to let him go with them.He had never accompanied anyone on a journey before.He looked at the Ven and he said "Thanks for letting me come along."Would his Master care if he went with them?Would he care if he took a little longer?Would he just take the sword and say that it was destroyed?

Reina was watching them both. Her ears flattened back. "You asked before why he called me princess. That is because I am...Well i was before I was sold..." Reina answered. She was trying to stay happy but it wasn't working out to well. She kept watching them. Her ears twitched. She was ready to get moving. She wanted her collar off. And all who had tried just seemed to make things worse. It was painful. Reina was just hoping that it wouldn't start up again any time soon.

"Me . . . too," the young woman said catching up to the group. She tried to give a warm smile, but it seemed forced and didn't look real. As she waited for them to answer she pushed some of her hair back behind her ear, the tempature around them getting cooler, and then gave a low sigh. She didn't know if they'd accept her after what she had done . . . trying to steal the collra and all . . . but she wouldn't give them a choise. "I will follow them . . . if I need . . . too."

Jecht felt like a third wheel while Ven and Reina were talking. He had to resist the urge to let out a very loud 'Awwwww.' but stayed quiet and continued to make sure they wer going the right way. "Yeah, I know where were going." He muttered but was cut off by the other guy. "Well we don't need to go thinking about what happened in the past. You guys need to focus on what's going on right now." He said tapping his compass to make sure they were going the right way.

Jecht was extremely surprised when Reina jumped on his back but thankfully he was quick enough to hold onto her. "No, nothing's wrong. No need to call me 'master' or anything." He said holding onto her. She's probably used to it. He thought glancing back at her. Jecht was quiet for a moment but then spoke up again. "Reina, after watching you use your power, you have a great amount of power. Would you be willing to try to control it? I could help you."

Reina nodded at the lady. "Yes you can come with us to." She then ran up behind Jecht and jumped on his back. She held on so she wouldn't fall off. "What's wrong, master Jecht?" Reina asked not realizing what she said. She was worried about him. He had a look on his face that made her feel like he was upset. He was also quiet alot so she wanted to know if he was okay. Reina had forgot to try and keep her tail down so her tail was lifting her dress up some. She was too worried about Jecht to notice it.

As Reina leapt onto Jecht's back the young woman strode up beside them, with what appeared to be a smile on her face, and watched them. Pointing at herself the young woman spoke in her soft tone of voice, "My name is . . . Noelle."

 

Stepping back she waited for a response to her name. She had not told anyone her name in a while, alsways being refered to as "you" or any other number of obscure referances to her her attention, so it felt weird having told someone.

IC- Reina nodded at the lady. "Yes you can come with us to." Reina then ran up behind Jecht and jumped on his back. "What's wrong master Jecht?" She didnt realize what she had said but she was really worried about him. He wasn't talking much and had a look on his face that concerned her. She forgot to put her tail down so her dress had came up a bit. Reina was too worried about Jecht to notice it. She just hoped he wasnt mad at her. If he was she was hoping she didn't just make it worse.

Jecht felt like a third wheel when Ven and Reina began touching eachother and he had to resist breaking them up with a very loud 'Awwww', so he stayed quiet and looked at the map. Then Ven asked him if he knew where they were going. "Yeah, I'm know exactly -" But he was cut off by the dragon guy, so nobody heard him. He began mouthing what they said very childishly and rolled his eyes. Yes, without me you'd all be wandering around in the frikin forest. He thought a little anger in it.

Jecht was extremely surprised when Reina jumped on his back but was fast enough to catch her and hold on. "No, nothing's wrong. And you shouldn't call me 'master' or anything." He said to her. She's probably sp used to it she didn't mean it. He thought aand was quiet for a moment but then spoke up again. "Reina, I was wondering. Would you be willing to use your powers? I could help you take control of it."

"My powers?..But...Okay..." Reina was afraid someone was going to get hurt. She nodded when he had told her not to call her master. Reina was worried that things will go wrong. She wanted to be able to use her powers without someone getting hurt. She agreed though hoping that everything will be okay. If she lost power again she may not be able to take control again and then Reina would blame herself more for it.

Jecht looked back at Reina's face. He could hear the fear in her voice. "Don't worry. If you lose control, I can get you back in control." He said confidently. Jecht's mind went back to when they were at the stream. Reina had great power. She could do a lot if she could control it. I wonder what else she could do. His mind was now on powers. She doesn't use her powers so she probably doesn't have any control over it.

Reina slid of his back and stood by Jecht. She nodded. "Okay." She knew her powers were dangerous. If she did lose control it could do a whole lot of damage. Reina looked at Jecht wondering what to do. She knew she couldn't control all of her powers. She even had a hard time healing sometimes. When she would heal someone else at times she would end up the one with the wounds and the person she was healing was completely fine. She didn't want that to happen again.

Ven looked at Reina and said,"Hey, don't worry I know you can control your powers." He smiled and walked up to Reina. "If needed, both me and Jecht will bring you back if you start to lose control." he said with a smile. He knew that Reina was capable of controlling her powers and he was hoping Jecht could teach her to control them.

Reina nodded. She just hoped none of them backfired back at her. That has happened alot and she hated it. She also knew the collar was putting a strain on her powers so that didn't help her at all. She just wanted things to be better. Reina knew that no one was going to bother them for a while. The only ones around were just normal animals. She looked at Jecht once again. "Which one should I use first?...water...fire...earth..wind..thunder...or something else?..."

"You can do all that?" Jecht blurted aout amazment but quickly composed himself. "Sorry, ummm . . . use whichever one you feel the most comfortable with." He said almost unable to understand someone who could control all that. Someone with that much power. He wondered what it would feel like. Well, I guess they'd all be almost the same general idea. Just some minor differences right? Yeah sure. He thought to himself.

Reina nodded. "Yeah. Its what I was taught to do." SHe held her hands out and a ball of water appeared in her hands. She threw it up and caught it. Reina looked at Jecht wondering what to do now. She had the water in her hand. She just didn't know what to do with it. Reina was just hoping that she wasnt going to lose control. She didn't like losing control. It was the reason all of this happened. The reason she wasn't in Heartfall. The reason she wasn't loved by her mother anymore. The reason she was sold. Was all because she lost control and hurt someone.

"That's good. Now the key to control your powers is to not use your head." Jecht said tapping the side of his temples. "You want to use something to use your powers through, or they could do anything they want. That make sense?" He asked wondering if she understood anything he was saying. "Okay, some people use movement, words, weapons, and I use my martial arts." He said hoping he was doing okay at explaining it.

Reina nodded. "A song..." She said. Reina was hoping she understood it now. She thought that maybe if she sang then maybe then she could control her powers better. She needed her spell book to be sure. The problem was her book was taken from her. If she had that she would be able know more about her spells.

Soul nodded as translation that Jecht was right.He quickly said "Like me...I use either my swords or my hand.".Soul was beginning to feel quesy.He still needed to find that sword his master wanted him to find.He stopped thinking about his master and started talking again "Here is an example...I hope you like it.".He quickly grabbed the sword on his back and he blew a fire onto his hand and he threw it into the air and smacked it with his sword.

"Yeah . . that's what I just said Captain Obvious." Jecht said. "Songs are great. They have a tune that you concentrate on. When your mind is on the song your powers will follow. That's where the idea of spells origionally came from. Certain words work the best and these "spells" are the best." Jecht said hoping that he wasn't overexplaing it. "Does this make any kind of sense?" He asked Reina.

Soul was getting bored with the fact he was still over there.But even after the boys comment, Soul still enjoyed Jecht being here.He decided to make both of the girl and the boy something.He quickly took out his pad that he had been drawing in and laid it down on a flat rock.He grabbed a couple of peices of wood and started creating things that might help them on there journey.

"You are all . . . fools," Noelle said quietly walking into the group, having been aloof this entire time, and snatched Soul's sword out of his hand and smacking him a bit hard over the forehead. She was scowling at everyone, "they depend on such trickery to make them believe they have control . . . idiots all of them," and then she turned to Reina, "I was like . . . you . . . once. No . . . control . . . what so ever . . ."

Soul didnt care what the lady had done.He had decided to let her have his sword.He was in the process of making a weapon seconds after this happened.He decided i he did anything else to him he would hurt her.But Soul had no real reason to hurt her.NO.He would not hurt anyone here.

"And while we . . . travel . . . I will teach . . . Reina," Noelle stated bluntly once more patting the young cat-girl on her head. She didn't know which way they would take so she did not move afterwards, instead waiting for the others to show her which way they'd be heading. If anything Noelle was "excited" about was the prospect of teaching someone who was almost like a young version of what she used to be how to control her powers. Had it been so long that Noelle forgot what it was like? To live in constant issolation from others because she could not control the natural gifts given to her. No. She could still remember the screaming, the smell of burning firewood as mobs of people chased after her through the drifting snow she had created. The Hellbringer of Winter, that was who she was. Who she had been . . .

 

"So which . . . way?" she asked finally tiring of everyone standing around.
