Reina kept her head down. She felt bad for running off. She didn't understand why the lady had tapped her on her head but that didn't matter now. Reina couldn't believe how childish she acted. Her ears were back. Her tail curled around her leg. She almost looked like a child standing there. Reina stayed quiet wondering what they were going to say. SHe stood there hoping no one was mad. SHe didnt like it when people were mad.

Ven saw Reina and the girl walking back towards them. Ven walked over to Reina and said,"R-Reina...I'm sorry about if we were sounding like we were fighting over you like some toy or some animal. I hope you can forgive us and let us take you back home.." He sounded like he was a little sad...hoping that she wasn't mad at him or the others.

Reina hugged him not letting go. "I sorry..." Reina told him. She was trying not to start crying again. In her mind she thought she was going to get hit. But no one hit her. She was not used to living without her master. She had forgotten how it was like to not live in fear before. Reina let go and looked at them. SHe lowered her head again. She felt really bad. What would happen if she hadn't came back? She stayed quiet thinking about that.

Ven looked at Reina hugged him. He then slowly put his arms around Reina, hugging her back. "You don't have to be sorry, Reina. We were the ones acting like you were a toy....we're the ones who should be sorry and apologizing...not you." he said with a slight smile. "So, I'll say it again...I'm sorry, Princess." he said.

A smile appeared on her face. She kissed his cheek. "Lets get going. The faster we get moving the faster we will get there." She smiled and starts to walk off. Reina knew she needed to stop running from her problems. She had to change that. So much was on her mind now. She had to change so much. She had to learn so much. The world was so different. So bright. It was all because she didn't have her master with her. Reina turned around and faced them. "Well come on slow pokes. I may look young but I am older than you think. I dont want to get any older."

Ven looked at Reina and held the cheek she kissed. The smile on his face got wider and he began to get a happier, upbeat attitude. He ran up to Reina and said,"Whatever you say, Reina." He held his cheek again and smiled. OH MY GOSH!!! She actually kissed me!!!! Totally worth it!! he thought with the smile on his face.

Reina smiled back. She knew she was blushing a bit but tried to hid it. She was ready to take the first steps in the real world without her master. She was ready to be free again just like before. Reina felt good inside. She liked this feeling. She just couldn't stop smiling. No one was hurt. No one seemed mad. She kept smiling and skipped on ahead. Reina was happy and she knew it. She was ready for her journy to end. SHe was ready for her happy ending to begin.

Ven smiled as well. He thought of some stuff and began to think about what would happen when they got to Heartfall. He smiled as he thought about him and Reina being together a bit. He shook his head then and thought, Ven..stop thinking like that. Face the facts..shes a princess and will be given an arranged marriage. You'd be kicked to the curb by her family if they caught you having interest in her..

Reina looked at Ven. "Is something wrong?" Reina asked. She had stopped herself from reading their minds but still wondered what they were thinking. Reina controled herself though. It wasn't right for her to get into their mind and invade their privacy. She stood there watching them both. Reina was still wanting to know. But she didn't. Her tail twitched normally. Her ears were perked up and listening. She was watching them without a word.

Ven looked at Reina and said,"Huh? Oh...its nothing Reina." He didn't want to alarm Reina by saying what he was thinking. He was also hoping she wasn't reading his mind as well....he didn't want her also to freak her out like that. Just stay cool...and be calm. That way nothing bad will happen. he thought to himself.

Soul saw the girl skip ahead and he heard Ven say princess...Soul felt a little dizzy and looked at Ven then asked him "Did you just say princess?"He felt a little confused and he looked at the cat-like girl and he asked "Why would a princess be out here in this small little village?"He felt like he was cutting into her personal life and said "Unless thats personal..."He looked away at the Ven then back at the girl hoping she woul awenser him.

She was hoping he was okay. He had a look on his face that worried her. "Did I do something wrong?" Reina asked. Her ears went back. Her tail curled. Had she done wrong by kissing him on the cheek? Should she had not done it? Reina thought it was a good idea at first but now she was regreting it. She felt like he was upset about her doing it. She had remembered a time where boys hated it when girls kissed them. Are they the same way when they get older?

Ven looked at Reina and said,"You didn't do anything Reina." Then he asked her,"Hey, whats wrong? Whats on your mind, princess?" He knew something was up when Reina asked him if something was wrong with him. "Come on, you can tell me whatever is the matter with you." he said smiling.

Reina looked at him. "Did anyone get hurt before...when i...?" she stopped herself. She didn't want to emitt that she lost control of her powers. Reina watched him. She hoped that he would believe her. She didn't want him to know what she was really thinking. SHe would find out when she got home. She could ask Rein if she really wanted to know. She stood there waiting for them.

"No one was hurt." Ven said looking at Reina. He smiled at her and said,"We were all alright and all in one piece." He stroked Reina's hair and said,"You dont have to worry about hurting any of us. You didnt hurt us or even attack us badly." Man, she does look real cute. he thought to himself.

Reina nodded. "Okay." She blushed when he stroked her hair. She liked how he did it. He may fight alot but his hands were soft and gentle. She kept herself from purring. She kept blushing. Reina was still trying to figure out if he liked the kiss or not. She had seen him put his hand on his cheek a few times. What if he was rubbing it off. She was thinking that maybe guys dont really like kisses just like when they were kids. Then why does her parents kiss. Reina was so confused.

Ven smiled and said,"By the way...that kiss you gave me, it was the kiss any girl has given me." He chuckled and said,"Yeah..that was my first kiss..ever. But it was a kiss I won't really forget." He continued to stroke Reina's hair and smiled. He noticed her blushing and then stopped. "S-Sorry about that...I didnt mean to make you blush like that.." he said.

Reina blushed more when he said that. She couldn't believe it. He liked it. He really did. "Don't worry. It's fine." She told him. Her tail twitched nervously. She lowered her head some trying to hide her blushing. Reina stared at the ground trying to figure everything out. She wasnt sure what to think anymore. She kept blushing as she stared at the ground. Reina's mind was so filled with thoughts she thought her head was going to explode.

Ven smiled and said,"Well, lets get you back to Heartfall. I bet your really anxious to see your family again." He decided to change the subject, before something went a little weird. He smiled at her and lifted Reina's head and said,"Am I right?" OF COURSE YOU'RE RIGHT..YOU IDIOT!! he thought to himself. He knew she was really wanting to go home, but he didnt know why he asked that question.

Reina smiled and nodded. "Yes sir." She was ready. She was wanting to go home. She wanted to see Rein again. She kept smiling. Reina was still blushing. She was a bit shocked that she kissed him. She had never done that before. At least not on the cheek. It was usually on the hand. Her master made her do it that way. He said she was not fit to touch him. He said she was lower than dirt. The only time she was allow to was when he told her to.

Ven nodded. "Alright then lets get going." he said as he started walking. He then stopped and turned back to Jecht and asked,"Hey...uh Jecht...do you know where the heck we're supposed to go? Cause, I'm really bad with directions." It was true, he wasnt the one to ask for directions. He once accidentally sent a guy who was headed for a neighboring village, to a dark forest.

Soul saw Ven talking to the boy and heard him ask for where to go.Soul looked at Ven then he said before Jecht could talk "Where are you headed too?"he didnt know what else to say so he asked "Hey Ven...have you seen a sword around here...Im not exactly sure where i am?"He looked at the too boy wondering what they were going to say.

Ven looked at Soul and said,"First off, we're heading to take Reina over here to Heartfall so she can see her family again." He thought for a moment and said,"And as for a sword...I havent seen any sword here.." Then he took his blade from his back. "Except the one I have with me...Fenrir." he finished his sentence. "Other than that...no sword."

Soul heard him say Heartfall and he said "Ohh...Heartfall's to the west of Abroh."He pointed in the direction of Abroh.He was kinda disapointed when he heard there was no sword hed seen but then he remembered something the king said "Hey Ven im going to Heartfall to search for the sword...Could i accompany you?"he once again wondered what they were thinking.

Ven put Fenrir back on his back and thought for a moment. Well, he did help me save Reina. Plus he can transform into a dragon...but can I really trust him. he thought to himself. Well I'll have to trust him and let him come with us. He looked at Soul and said,"Alright. You can come with me, Reina, and Jecht to Heartfall."
