Ven smiled and said,"Don't worry Princess! You'll be fine, and it being cloudy...its probably just the weather." He clipped Fenrir back on his belt loop and said,"Its that girl again...well I dont feel like talking to her again. But keep that nose out incase someone else decides to come and sneak up on us."

"Yes sir." Reina kept checking to see who was around. She didn't want anyone of them getting hurt. She didn't like the idea of it. Reina tried to keep her mind clear. If she didn't she would lose concentration and then they could be attacked. She didn't want that. So she kept trying to keep her mind clear. If she did that they could probably get to the shaman quicker and then be able to get the collar off. After that she could go back to Heartfall and be with her family.

Ven smiled and kept walking. He didn't want anyone to come and attack them, but deep down in his heart, he really one person to attack them. He hoped that the assassin he been searching for would attack them, then he would take vengeance on him. He still remembered the appearance of the assassin. He had silver hair, black outfit, a katana at his side, and had a 'x' like scar on his left cheek. He gritted his teeth at seeing the picture of the assassin that appeared in his head.

"Ven...Is something wrong?" Reina asked. SHe could tell something was wrong but she didn't know what it is. She was thinking that maybe she shouldn't of asked. She didn't want her to think that she was nosy. Reina held onto him hoping that he wasn't getting tired of carrying her. She could walk but he offered to carry her so she didn't say no. She did what she was told. That was what she knew how to do. To do as she was told. Her master taught her that.

Ven heard Reina and said,"Huh? No..nothing is wrong Reina." He looked down at the dirt road and sighed. "Well..I was thinking about the assassin that killed my father. I was remembering how he looked and it sickened me...h-he had a murderous look in his eyes.." he said with a tear falling down his face. "He looked like he didn't care about who he killed..or who he hurt..but I will put an end to it. When I find him...I'll put him down, permanently."

Reina hugged him while holding onto him. "I am sorry...I could help you know...." Reina was going to finally tell him. She wanted to help even if it was forbbidon. Even if there were consquences. "I can bring your father back to life if you want...I would need the body though..." Reina told him. "Its not hard. Its a spell I learned growing up." She had learned it before she had been sold but was told never to use it. Reina just couldn't stand seeing him suffer like he was.

"I am sorry . . . I could help you know . . ." the young woman had heard through the mist as she silently guided them through the woods. The beauty of her abilities, as she had gradually mastered them, is that she could make people subconciously move how she wanted to; the thicker of the fog in front of them making them head in another direction. This was how she lead them. This was how she hunted them. Though she could lead them, she was unable to directly draw them to her due to the young girl's nose; one that seemed to, even in the thickest fog, could pick her out. Since she couldn't beat the nose, she would have to outsmart it. Leading them along, the young woman waved both hands in a corcle atop her perch, and the mist surrounding them formed a perfect circle to show brilliant red and gold flowers; the magnificaint sent rising it seemingly blasted their senses.

 

The perfume of the flowers easily able to block the young child's nose, the young woman crept through the fog towards them from behind; the soft petals of the flowers quieting her footsteps. Now within arms reach she reached out with her hand towards her first target, the sword owned by the boy . . .

The smell was too strong for Reina. She covered her hands with her nose accidently letting go and falling off Ven. She landed on her back but she didn't care. The smell was too strong for her nose to handle. "!?" Reina curl up on the ground hoping it would stop but knew it wouldn't. SHe tried to keep the smell from her nose but it wasn't working. "The smell...Its too strong..." Reina managed to get some words out. She could taste the smell to. She hated it. She didn't like this one bit.

Soul was on a trip to find another fire sword,and was sent out by some prince with a collection Soul had gotten for him. Right now Soul was looking or the ice fire sword.But on his way Soul ran into a small village. He could smell something...something horrible. He smelt it getting stronger every second he moved.But suddenly he went into a huge fog,that he didnt expect coming.He wondered where this fog had come from,But he tripped over something on the ground.He could sense that it was a human or cat type being.

"Ow!"Reina felt someone trip over her and then felt her tail be crushed. She sat up. Reina hoped her tail was okay. It was. It had managed to not be broken. She looked around looking to see what had done that. Her nose still covered. She noticed someone by her. Reina couldn't smell still at the moment and that made it easy for them to be attacked. She stared at the figure by her trying to figure out what had happened. She never seen the person before and wondered why they were here.

"Sorry..."Soul said as he heard her say she was hurt.He looked at the girl and noticed she had a tail.He wondered why she was holding her nose.He asked her "need any help?" he said as he held out his hand.He looked in the fog and he looked back at the girl as he stil held out his hand.He could barely see her through the thick fog.

As someone tripped over the girl, the young woman creating the fog barely was able to avoid beind hit herself; though not the chances of being discovered were too great. She had to think fast. She had to either flee or grab what she could before it was too late. Needless violence was not an answer she was willing to choose. Counting her options the young woman withdrew her hand and then reached out quickly for the next best object, the collar around the girl's neck, and grabbed it tightly before yanking back; she was completely unaware that this necklase would not snap off.

Ven noticed someone grabbing Reina's collar. He unclipped Fenrir from his belt loop, grabbed its hilt and smacked the hand away with the flat side of the blade. He saw it was the girl again and said,"You again!? Why the heck are you following us?? And why in the world did you grab Reina's collar??"

"!?"Reina felt like she was being choked. She tried to pull on the collar to make it stop choking her. Her hands started to burn when Reina pulled on it. She wanted to scream but held it in. Reina bit her lower lip to keep from screaming out. She didn't let go though. She couldn't stand feeling like she was being choked. Reina tried to pull away. Ven had smacked whoever had her and she crawled behind Ven. She wasnt holding her nose. Reina felt like passing out from the smell.

Ven looked at Reina and asked,"Are you alright Princess?" He looked back at the girl and put his sword at his side. He shook his head and sighed. Why? Why is she following us? She has to at least tell me what the heck she wants. he thought to himself. He removed his hood and showed his brown spiky hair. He looked at the girl and asked,"Alright, I won't attack you...but I want to know one thing. Who are you and why are you following us?"

"I am okay now..." Reina told him. Her hands were burnt from where she grabbed the collar. Her nose stung from the smell. Her tail ached from being stepped on. Reina still felt like she was being choked. She stayed behind Ven. She wanted to know why that person wanted to take her collar. It was nothing special and it was definatly not good. If it didn't have the spell on it she would like it better. But there was no way to remove the spell yet. And when she did get the collar off she wondered how bad her neck looked.

Soul saw what had happened when the woman grabbed the cat-girls collar.He had no idea what was going on.He looked at the girl and asked "What happened here?".He notced that she was still on the ground from what had happened.After he saw this he said "Umm...im sorry miss"

Reina looked at him. "Its okay..." She was used to this pain. She had been through worse than what she was feeling now. Reina couldn't take it. She transformed into her full cat form and jumped up a tree. The smell wasnt as strong up there in the tree. She watched from up above. Reina stayed quiet watching them. Her tail twitched. If she needed to she could jump down on the girl and attack her. SHe never tried that before but she knew it had to work

Ven saw Reina transform into a cat and his jaw dropped. He rubbed his eyes a bit to make sure he wasn't seeing things. He wasn't...Reina actually transformed into a cat. "Wow..Reina, you can transform yourself into a cat?" Ven asked. He smirked and said,"I gotta say, that you being able to do that..is pretty cool."

Soul looked at the girl suprised when she turned into a cat.He saw her tail twitch and still worried if it hurt.He kooked at the boy and the woman and said "Ok...this is akward.".He looked at the cat girl and said "Hi...My name is Soul Yamuki"he held out his hand and wondered if she would shake it or not.

"I am a half-demon cat. This is just my demon form. I can also turn into a full demon but i think its cuter if i keep the ears and tail. Besides, in my human form i cant use my powers. In my demon form I can't use my staff. So there are ups and downs to being in any form." Reina explained. Her ears twitched. SHe heard something. She didn't know what it was but she heard it. Reina looked around trying to figure out what that noise was. Where was it coming frome? She looked back down at Ven.

Ven looked at Reina and noticed her twitching her ears as if she heard something. "What is it, Reina?? You hear someone or something?" he asked. He looked at the boy and said,"Soul Yamuki..interesting name. I'm Ven Hawk, its nice to meet ya." He looked back at Reina and wondered what she heard.

"!?" Reina went to jump down but she was too late. A large hawk flew by and grabbed her. It started to carry her off. Reina looked at the hawk as it carried her off. "I told you I would get you." It was the man from before. Reina fought to get free but couldn't. He hit her in the back of her head with one of his claws and knocked Reina out. She wasn't able to call out for help now. He kept flying farther away with Reina in his grasp. Inside Reina's mind a voice was speaking to her.

He saw the cat-girl get taken away and hit in the head.He looked at Ven and then changed his arm into a dragon and he grew wings.He said "Ven looks like me and you need to help her.".Soul flew off with incredible speed and hit the hawk with his arm.He hoped that he didnt hurt the girl.

Ven whistled a bit and said,"Wow, you transform into a dragon?! Sweet!" Ven ran after Soul and saw him hit the hawk. He saw the Reina fall and Ven ran up a tree and jumped off a branch and caught Reina. He landed in a small creek and slowly stood up. He grunted and said,"Ow...well your alright now, Princess."
