Heartfall

 

Reina, a neko girl with short red hair, is the heir to the Heartfall throne. When she was young her mother sold her to a man who treated Reina worse than dirt because she did not have enough supplies to take care of her. Reina finally ran away from the palace and is now trying to find her way back to Heartfall. She learns alot on her own. She doesnt eat or sleep at all knowing if she did it,she would have a higher chance of getting caught.

Reina uses magic and people she meets to help along her way. She hates fighting so she tries to advoid it as much as she can. Reina can heal others when needed and was the first one to learn how to revive people from the death. The only thing is if she ever did there was some bad side effects. She hasnt given up on her search back to Heartfall. She knows that this was only the start of her promblems. When she got back to Heartfall she knew that she would have to face everyone there. And dealing with people was one of the things she has a very hard time with since she was alone almost all of the time.

OOC- Okay I will start the thread now but I will still be accepting people to join. I will go around inviting people for it to see if they want to join.

 

Reina was resting under a tree. Her ears twitched as she listened around her. A soft warm breeze blew her hair around a bit. Reina had her eyes closed but was not asleep. She hadn't slept in a long time and was too afraid to sleep or even eat. Reina just layed up againist the tree without moving. She seemed calm and looked relaxed but wasn't. Her mind was filled with thoughts and she couldn't relax. She knew what was out there.

Reina opened her eyes and looked up. "How did you know that?" She looked confused. "Why do you want to know? " Reina stood and looked at her. Her tail twitched a bit as she watched her carefully. Why was this person here and how did she know who she was? Was she one of them? Reina had many thoughts in her mind but she still kept her attention on her.

Jecht was walking through some trees, looking for some 'hidden' treasures that he had been told were out here somewhere. Where Jecht was was right now, he wasn't exacty sure where. Okay, he was lost . . . again. Jecht thought he heard voices nearby, he ignored it. His head was never straight when he was hungry, and he hadn't eaten in a few days because he was out of food supplies. He had some plants here and there but he could find any animals to hunt. Jecht crouched down low to the ground and placed his palms on the ground. He used his powers of controling the earth to search underground for anything that could be this "special" treasure he was searching for. Nothing was there. He thought he found some gopher tunnnles. Perhaps he could catch one. Food. He knocked loudly on some of the trees around him to see it any of them were hollow. He had found some valuables in a tree one time.

Reina's ears twitched. She heard footsteps of another person that was nearby. Were they here to attack her or to take her back to 'him'? Reina started to back away. She felt too uncomfortable. She knew she could take one but if another one was to attack she knew there was a high chance of her losing. Reina's leg twitched nervously.

Jecht knocked on the trees and had his ear to the trunk. One of them was hallow, amazingly. His hopes were high as he cut a large hole in the trunk. Jecht stuck his head into the hole hoping to see something but all he cut into was a family of squirrles.They attacked him viciously and he yelled out in surprise. "Get off me!" Jecht yelled serveral times as he swatted at the squirrles. Once they finally left him alone he inspected what damage they had done. He had scratch marks on his face and arms. "Oh God." he muttered looking at waht they had done to him. Most of them were bleeding. He cursed under his breath.

Reina spotted him and noticed he was hurt. She didn't know if she should help him or leave him be. Slowly she stepped toward him. "A...Are you okay?..." She didn't trust him but she didn't like people being hurt. Her tail curled around her thigh. Her ears were flattened back as she stepped closer.

Jecht heard someone and he grabbed the hilt of his sword which was strapped to his back, but relaxed after a second. He saw it was a girl. A cat-girl. Curious. He thought looking at her ears and tail. "Yeah, yeah. I'm fine." He said as he touched one of the wounds on his face, right by his eye. It burned because he touched the open wound. Nothing too bad though. He looked at his fingers and he confirmed that he was bleeding. "F***." He muttered but looked at the girl and smiled. "I'm fine."

She walked up to him and put her hand softly on his cheek. Reina started to heal him. "How did you get hurt?" She quietly asked. Her heart and head were racing but she ignored them. She finished healing him and then stepped back. She was about to leave. Reina was still trying to figure out if he was a threat to her or not.

Jecht felt his face tingle as the girl healed him. He touch his face were the scratches once were and didn't feel a thing. His arms were clear too. "Thanks." He said mystified that she healed him completely. He looked at the girl, she was young and rather attractive. Then she asked how he had gotten hurt. He smiled sheepishly. "Umm, I guess squirrles don't like it when you intuded on their home." He said feeling embarresed. I'll get the squirrles for dinner. They won't be clawing me then.

Down the dirt road Ven Hawk, a boy by the age of 16, walked down the path. He wore a blue pair of jeans, black tennis shoes, with a black and white hoodie with a keyhole and a small like key inside the keyhole, and a small king's crown necklace around his neck. The hood on the hoodie covered his dark brown hair and he had a blade with a small chain and a charm on the end of it on his back.

 

He walked until he sees a small cat-like girl and another boy underneath a tree. He approached them and said, "Hey, who are you two?"

Reina looked at the new person. She didn't answer. She didn't know how to. Reina just stood there backing up some. Was this person going to attack or just passing by. What were they doing here in the first place? They were in the middle of no where. Why were they even here?

Ven looked at the cat-like girl and said,"Hey..if you're afraid I'll hurt you, then dont worry." He grabbed his blade, known as Fenrir, and said,"I only use Fenrir here if necessary." He put it back on his back and said,"Besides I was wondering who you were cause I usually try my best to make friends everywhere I go."

Jecht looked up at the guy who had walked up them. He had a sword on his back. Could be trouble. Not many people just walked up to you and asked you who they were. On the other hand, not many people randomly walked you to you and healed your wounds. "Who wants to know?" Jecht asked getting up, and his hands were ready to grab his dao sword if he needed to. Sadly this is one of the most exciting hunts I've had in a long while. He thought to himself.

"Before you start attacking me..I was just walking down the path and saw you both. I thought you two needed some help or something like that." Ven said looking at the guy next to the cat-like creature. "And my name is Ven...Ven Hawk." he said with a smile. "So what are your names then?" he asked.

Reina watched them both. She whispered her name but it wasn't really loud enough to hear. Her tail was still curled around her leg and her ears still flattened. Should I trust them? Or should I run now while I have the chance? Her heart was racing as she watched both of them. What was going on? Why was this happening?

 

OOC- sorry it is taking me so long to post. i am trying to do more than one thing at once.

"I wasn't attacking you." Jecht said calmly eyeing the guy who introduced himself as Ven. "I'm Jecht." He said and if either of them did happen to pose a threat, which Jecht doubted greatly, he believed he could defeat them. He looekd over to the girl, she looked extremely nervous. Right now, though, he was thinking about food more than either of them. He glanced at the tree containing the squirrles. He was going to try to catch at least one of them and try to escape without getting his eyes clawed out.

"Jecht..nice to meet you." Ven said looking at the guy who said his name was Jecht. He looked at the cat-like girl and said,"So are you gonna tell me your name?" He sat down and said,"If your not convinced that I wont attack you..." he paused and then took Fenrir from his back and placed it in front of him. "Besides, I wouldnt hurt a lovely lady such as yourself." he said with a smile.

Reina blushed a little and lowered her head when he called her lovely. "Reina....Reina of Heartfall." She told him. Reina felt bad cause she could hear their thoughts but she didn't say anything about it. She knew it helped to see if they were bad or not. Reina was still nervous. She kept her head down. She felt her face turn red and she didn't want anyone to notice it.

"Reina, that is a very nice name." Ven said with a smile. "Heartfall...I remember my dad once saying something about that place. He told me that the heir of Heartfall got sold and everything went downhill from there." he said shaking his head. He looked back at Reina and asked,"Are you the heir to Heartfall?"
