The Dark Knight
The reason I say "lightly" is because is doesn't focus only on dragons. Also, the deck uses many restricted cards and breaks the 60-card limit. I don't ever play in any official tournaments, just with friends, so I'm not too worried about the restricted cards. I just want to cut down the card amount, I just don't know how. Toffee.
Also' date=' the deck uses many restricted cards and breaks the 60-card limit.[/quote']You posted this in the Traditional section. As long as you run 1 copy of each B& card, your fine. Also, cut your deck down to 40 cards.
jabber2033
Let me say something first: If it breaks 60 cards, it's illegal. And if you don't enter tournaments, why not do stuff like 3x Pot of Greed and 3x Monster Reborn? However, if you really want to improve it, Get rid of the cards in BOLD: MonstersBlue-Eyes White Dragon x3Cyber-Stein x1A Cat of Ill Omen x1Luster Dragon x1Vorse Raider x1Blade Knight x1Enraged Battle Ox x1Copycat x1Divine Knight Ishzark x1Gene-Warped Warwolf x1Guard of Flamvell x1Kaiser Glider x1Obelisk The Tormentor x1Divine Dragon Ragnarok x1Lord of D. x1Dark Horus x1Hardened Armed Dragon x1Tyrant Dragon x1White Horned Dragon x1Tiger Dragon x1Masked Dragon x2Maju Garzett x1Red-Eyes Darkness Metal Dragon x1Gandora The Dragon of Destruction x1Decoy Dragon x2Sangan x1Witch of the Black Forest x1 SpellsMonster Reborn x1Graceful Charity x1Change of Heart x1Pot of Greed x1Shooting Star Bow Ceal x1Different Dimension Capsule x2Ancient Rules x1Shrink x2Cost Down x1Shien's Spy x1Mist Body x2Lightning Vortex x1Reload x1Card Destruction x1The Cheerful Coffin x1Polymerization x1Mystical Space Typhoon x1Harpie's Feather Duster x1Monster Reincarnation x1Flute of Summoning Dragon x1Soul Exchange x1 Traps Barrel Behind The Door x1Metal Reflect Slime x1Cyber Shadow Gardna x1Cloning x1Negate Attack x1Enchanted Javelin x1Shadow Spell x1Skill Drain x1Ultimate Offering x1Mirror Force x1Torrential Tribute x1 Yes, that's the majority of the deck, but those cards are either bad or not needed. An example would be Cyber-Stein and Barrel Behind The Door. I know I said I want to reduce the number of cards in the deck, but I still want to keep the same "outline." I don't want to turn it into an entirely new deck.

Also, your deck is pretty random right now. I don't get why you have Cat of Ill Omen and Gene-Warped Warwolf in the same deck. Same with Enraged Battle Ox and Luster Dragon. Flute of SD is bad as you lose too many cards in your hand. Cloning is bad. Enchanted Javelin is bad...I could go on. And unless you have the LEGAL version of Obelisk, your deck's illegal as well. Why is Barrel Behind The Door bad if I can use it to inflict 5000 damage to my opponent with Cyber-Stein? Cat of Ill Omen is supposed to help get Barrel Behind The Door (or another trap card that would be useful depending on the situation) into my hand. Gene-Warped Warwolf is a powerful card, as is Luster Dragon. Flute of SD can still be useful to get some powerful dragons on the field. Cloning can save me from a powerful monster. Enchanted Javelin can help me in more than 1 way. I could also go on. So I suppose it's not really a dragon deck. It has a incredibly light dragon theme to it, but it doesn't focus on dragons. It focuses more on powerful combinations.
jabber2033
Yes, but all the cards I mentioned, you only have 1 copy of them. And with a 60-card deck, you're most likely NOT going to draw them when you need them. You're better using 2-3 copies of them, unless their either Limited or Semi-Limited, plus reducing your deck to 40 cards. Why is Javelin bad? All it does is give you Life Points. It doesn't negate an attack or destroy or remove a monster, or even end the Battle Phase. Mirror Force, Dimensional Prison, Sakuretsu Armor, Widespread Ruin, even Negate Attack...There are many better card choices than Javelin. Same with Cloning. The deck I gave as a suggestion would destroy yours 99% of the time. That 1% I would probably lose because I get a bad hand and draws early in the game. Cat of Ill Omen is supposed to help get Barrel Behind The Door (or another trap card that would be useful depending on the situation) into my hand. Too slow. Especially in this format. Also' date=' in this format, Traps aren't as viable as they are in the advanced format so don't bother with Cat of Ill Omen. Gene-Warped Warwolf is a powerful card, as is Luster Dragon. Flute of SD can still be useful to get some powerful dragons on the field. No. ATK isn't everything and Flute of Summoning Dragon is terrible. Cloning can save me from a powerful monster. Enchanted Javelin can help me in more than 1 way. Neither will save you from Chaos Emperor Dragon. I could also go on. So I suppose it's not really a dragon deck. It has a incredibly light dragon theme to it' date=' but it doesn't focus on dragons. It focuses more on powerful combinations.[/quote'] No. Just no. First of all, pick a proper theme and win condition and build the Deck around those. Also since this is Traditional Format, don't forget the broken staples like Monster Reborn, Raigeki, Harpie's Feather Duster, Pot of Greed, Change of Heart, etc.

The Dark Knight
Alright, I made some alterations. I'm thinking about just forgetting about Cyber-Stein and the Blue-Eyes. I'm in the process of building this deck, so forgive me if I'm not willing to spend a fortune. So far, the cards I'm planning on buying consist of: Card Trader x1Cloning x1Copycat x1Cost Down x1Cyber-Stein x1Dark Armed Dragon x1Darkblaze Dragon x1Dark Horus x1Decoy Dragon x1De-Fusion x1Different Dimension Capsule x2Exploder Dragon x1Exploder Dragonwing x1Flamvell Guardian x1Future Fusion x1Gandora The Dragon of Destruction x1Give and Take x1Kaiser Glider x1Luster Dragon x1Mist Body x2Shrink x3Skill Drain x1White Horned Dragon x1Tiger Dragon x1Five-Headed Dragon Keep in mind some of these may not be used in the deck, aside from the dragons. I just want to make a good deck (using this "outline"), but on a budget. This stuff, alone, is going to cost around $100.
