Since the dawn of this universe...There has always been three main types of races of this world. The Enhancers, which were mortals that could enhance there god given talents. Such as increasing one's strength from meager to superior. After came the Shifters, which were mortal at heart but were said to be sub-human, for they had the ability to shape shift themselves into one type of animal or creature. Last but not least, were the Humans. Humans have no special talents really, they rely purely on man made weaponry and siege machines...

 

All seemed peaceful, on this planet known as Teknok. However, the humans, being average and plain grew to hate the Enhancers and the Shifters. They began making all major cities and towns human only establishments, casting the other two races into run down shack villages. They were forced to live like they were not equal to humans, and they knew that in human eyes they would never be....

 

Now, this sense of abandonment and out casting has caused the Enhancers and the Shifters to rebel against the humans. The humans outrank them in power, for when they were abandoned they were forbidden to mate. But they had something that the humans didn't have. They had raw, fearful , and unrivaled powers that the humans couldn't comprehend. Practicing in secret, they waited and planed for there time to fight back...

 

Basically to sum that all up, this is an all out war RP between the three races of Enhancers, Shifters, and Humans. However, there will be more to the story then just that. There is plans for romance, dangerous adventure, daring side quests, and of course legendary tales.

Personality: Schiver's personality is very dark and sinister. Schiver has only interacted with maybe three or four other shifters. However, he will always come to another shifters aid without hesitation. Schiver will always act cold and empty to all humans no matter what there cause. It would be a frozen day in hell when a human gets close to him...

 

Bio: Since the day Schiver was born he has always been a shifter, obviously. However, his parents refrained from telling him until he was twelve and could contribute to the family funds or perhaps enroll in the army. He lived a happy and care free life as a regular human until his parents told him the news of him being a shifter, this is when he started developing his dark and sinister attitude. He would start to plan out wickedly evil deeds and start daring other children to do them.

 

He lived with his parents until fourteen and the humans started driving the shifters and the enhancers to back-water villages on the outskirts of the continent. His parents asked only a few questions, but even that was considered fighting back against the kings will. The human soldiers slaughtered Schivers parents right in front of his own eyes as if he wasn't even standing there. The soldiers knocked him out and when he awoke he was in the village known as Cibil, and he vowed to kill the king for his misdeeds.

 

Schiver stayed bottled up inside and he would always be out sitting on the small hills on the outskirts of Cibil. Schiver started to train like crazy for years and learned many new things. However, he didn't interact much with the other shifters or the enhancers. This made them all wary of his plans and intentions. At the age of twenty seven he decided to launch a small assault on the kingdom that outcast him and killed his parents. His assault failed and he was the only one left from an eight man squad. He decided that he would wait until Cibil was ready to act as a whole...

1.) Piercing Line: This activates when Rayner lands a blow on someone. Regardless of what gear they might be wearing the full force of Rayner's blow gets to the person's body. This cannot be used with a weapon but Rayner only ever fights barehanded. If he punches hard armor, the force will still reach the opponent but Rayner's hand will still feel the pain it should.

Beastly Weapons: Claws and teeth.

Beastly Skills:

1.) Phantom Glacier: Rayner can make a large block of ice appear beneath his opponent. This ice is dark and reduces visibility for those around it. The ice cannot kill but the sudden freezing and snapping of the ice around the opponent is painful. Or Rayner can instead opt to have his fangs and claws enchanted with ice. Doing this will let him freeze what he attacks.

2.) Shadow Fang Punishment: Rayner's body turns completely black and becomes incredibly difficult to spot. During this time, Rayner is much faster but has little control over his movements. He may hit the enemy but he can't make it happen. He may hit friends in the process as well.

Personality: Rayner is a bright happy person. He generally wants to keep things on the positive side and that's easy enough for himself, it's getting others around him to be happy that's an issue. Rayner can be quite serious when he needs to be and he is often aware of when the time to be happy is appropriate. He's not one to force ideas on others unless he's absolutely sure the other person is wrong. He's loyal and often determined with what he does. He tried not to dwell on the past and focuses on moving forward to better times.

Rayner was born in a village of Shifted who had left the human towns before the big exiles were enacted. The people had seen the exiling coming and wanted to avoid it. They preferred being able to leave with what they had as opposed to being made to leave one day with nothing. The town they settled was nothing much compared to human towns but it was a bit above the average for Shifted Towns.

 

Rayner himself was never a very angry person. He knew his people were oppressed and he knew he didn't like it but he never developed any lasting hatred for anyone, not even humans. Though he doesn't hate them, he never approved of what the humans did. Many a time his village was attacked by humans wishing to keep the village from becoming much better than the average Shifted settlement. Rayner lost friends and even a sibling to the attacks but still never hated anyone for it. He blamed the humans to be sure, but he didn't let that dislike become anything more. He instead wanted to look to the future. It was certainly a unique view for a Shifted, most of whom were quite bitter.

 

Rayner knew he wanted to fight to end the oppression of his people. Or rather, for a future where the various races wouldn't oppress each other. He trained to fight unarmed in his human form and trained his beast powers as best he could. The reason he wanted to fight was what he had heard about a Shifted who had led himself and seven others in an attack on the humans. A Shifted named Schiver was the leader and sole survivor of that group. Rayner came to greatly respect Schiver for wanting to put an end to the suffering of the Shifted so Rayner set out to go meet him.

 

Rayner had to admit that he was a little let down when he met Schiver. Schiver wasn't aiming so much for a coexistence as a slaughtering of the humans, or at least he aimed to make them never harm another Shifted ever again. Still, Rayner swore he would follow Schiver and help him in his aims.

Personality<1 Paragraph long please...>: Nin seems to be turned on by pain, making her a masochist. Nin also harbors a great hatred of humans. They killed her Best friend when she visited Nin.

Nin is the daughter of a Human noble that hides the fact she’s a Shifter. Though, she has gone berserk from time to time. The police inspector noted that Nin killed 10 known victims in a year alone and harvested their organs (I-E Eaten them) though he can not prove it since it’s been covered up. She's a good shot with a gun as she's demonstrated quite a few times.

 

Nin’s father the mayor of the human settlement harbors no hatred to Shifters, Nin's Mother was a shifter, but he is the mayor and he must uphold the law. He was the one who ordered Nin's Friends Execution.

 

Nin Remembers only a sentence from her mothers lips, "There’s a whole world out there, go find it.."

Skill(s): To be able to produce a thick layer of fog and to completely stop his own heart beat but restart it at will.

Weapon(s): A giant claymore that he can wield with one hand (I will provide better detail on the claymore in the RP)

Personality: He normally doesn't care for people, but since the Shifters and Enhancers been exiled into ghetto-like areas while the Humans live in luxury, it made him think that he needs to fight alongside his fellow breathen, the Shifters and Enhancers. With that, he can proudly say that he wishes to protect them.

Bio: Since the exiling of the Shifters and Enhancers by the Humans, he severely gave birth to the grudge and distaste that would make him hate humans for the rest of eternity. This grudge is what made him who he is, one that cannot betray a fellow sibling, in this case, all of the Shifters and Enhancers. The hatred that he shows towards humans has made him a hated man amongst most, if not all, humans.

However, even after the exiling, he also have had a few good times that he spent with the Shifters and Enhancers as well, bonding to improve teamwork and friendship. And since then, he vowed that he would protect every Shifter and Enhancer till the war is over, with the Shifters and Enhancers winning the war.

This is a description of Spiral Energy, the special power seen throughout the anime Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann, which I want to use as Eru's enhancement, so as to give you an idea of what powers it gives. However, I won't make it as OPd as it can be.

 

Spiral Energy is the power of evolution, generated by beings capable of doing so, like humans and other DNA-based animals, whose spiral double helix molecular structure allows them to get stronger through the generations. Spiral energy is what connects spiral beings to the universe. The amount of Spiral Energy produced by an individual may vary and is based not only on its own limitations, but also its immediate will to survive and persevere. Spiral Energy has both infinite potential and applications - it has been known to regenerate and grow new parts on machines to a galactic scale, and even create tunnels through spacetime. One of its most prevalent applications in the series is in weaponry, giving simple weapons strength that far exceeds that of more advanced weaponry.

 

Spiral Energy is specifically stated to defy the Law of Conservation of Energy and Law of Conservation of Mass, which in addition to explaining the creation of mass that is practically constant during battles, also carries danger if Spiral Energy is overused. Termed "Spiral Nemesis", too much Spiral Energy may cause the universe to collapse into a massive black hole.

 

 

Skill: A strange affinity with machines and can create almost anything, given the materials.

Weapon: Drill Lance, a lance with a spinning drill head at the end.

Personality: He cares not for others, and rarely shows his emotions outside of battle. He harbors great intelligence, and thus he thinks many are inferior to him. These feelings only came about after the exile, however. Due to the unjust exile of Enhancers of Shifters, he is set against humans in the rebellion.

Bio: Before the exile, Eru was a simple mechanic in a human city. He had always had great intelligence, so he used it to become a well-renowned mechanic in the city. He was a peaceful person and enjoyed the company of anyone.

 

However, when the exile began, Eru saw what the believed to be the true nature of humans: cowardess and greed. His renown soon became notoriety, and those who knew him as an Enhancer forsook him for merely being different. When the humans came knocking on his door, he fled with his belongings, mostly machine parts and scrap metal, and his hate. He lived a secluded life after that, building and honing his weaponry in the hope that one day he might exact revenge on the humans.

Personality: She is caring for all her king, which includes the Shifters and Enhancers, and she would do anything to keep them alive. She doesn't despise humans like most to all other Shifters and Enhancers do, but she's more on a scale of neutral relationship with them.

Bio: She was a common healer in her area, tending to basic injuries and illnesses, like scraps to a sprang, and to the flu. However, sense the exile of their kind, she's been useful for the Shifters and Enhancers while they've been training in secret.

Although it doesn't appear to be so, she may think that there is a way to bring humans and the Shifters and Enhancers to coexist, in return that the humans of course come to an agreement and apology, as well as allowing the Shifters and Enhancers to live at the same level.

Personality: Britney is usually very violent and angry, But she hides her real personality behind this fake happy and peaceful personality. Whenever you anger her you basically wrote your death wish with her. She puts a personal vendetta on you and will go to any length to destroy you. Whenever she acts nice to you thats her way of saying 'Im acting so dont believe any word i say' . She does sometimes lose her temper when everyone thinks she's sweet and innocent, She just let herself become her own self, And not the person everyone thinks she is. She is only that way because she was tormented by the humans and thats what angered her so much. She's really just a poor, innocent tormented soul that just needs help.

Bio: Britney was born in which the time was that the humans were beginning to resent the Shifters and the Enhancers. She had no friends when she was growing up, They made fun of her and constantly threw things at her, From rocks to doll pieces to other things. She hated her life and even at one point when she was fourteen she attempted to commit suicide. Thats when she finally reached the boiling point, She had enough of their torment so then she finally began fighting back, Which got her into huge trouble but she didn't mind, She loved being a rebel and getting into trouble by everyone, Except her parents.

 

Her Mother and Father were the only people that she had listened to, They were her weakness. When she was finally moved with the other Shifters and some Enhancers who were her best friends. They all formed a tight group with each other and whenever the humans decided to make fun of them, They all stood up for each other, And scared the humans silly so they would never decide to mess with any of the Enhancers or Shifters ever again. Britney knew that this would get her face as a target for the humans but she didn't care if she was killed or not, She just wanted to take down the humans and finally stop the anger by eliminating all the humans that messed with her.

As Loxin practices in his own secluded part of the forest you can hear the ditinct sound of him scolding his self for his mistakes. "damn you why cant you do it right!?" He jumps high in the air and is suddenly shrouded im beautiful dark blue, almost black, feathers and suddenlt they morph into wings and when the feathers fly back the are on the back of the brightest clean wolf anyone has ever seen. as soon as he shifts he tries to swoop as fast and as swift as he can in the direction of the ground. As fast as he was flying that is just as fast he hits the ground and shifts back to his tall, lanky, clumbsy, dirty self. still scolding himself "you idiot! you could have swiped the ground and flown back up no problem!!" now he is wounded blood spilling everywhere he has no choice but to travel into the town where he hates to go......

Personality: Meitsu Granville is said to be one of the kindest humans you will ever meet. Yes, he is very helpful, but only to his own kind that is. Meitsu Granville may look like the kind and sensual type, but Shifters and Enhancers beware. He'll easily kill one thousand Shifters/Enhancers to save one human life no matter how fragile or broken it might have been.

 

Bio: Meitsu Granville grew up in a rich family, but that never stopped his parents from loving him or his other two siblings. When Meitsu was young he used to play with his older brother all the time, but his younger brother he looked at in disgust and hated more then anything. Meitsu's father, who just so happened to be the king at the time, wanted Meitsu to interact with his younger brothers. However Meitsu merely played with his older brother and only reported that he and his younger siblings were the best of friends. In their middle childhood Meitsu began physical torture on his younger brother.

 

Meitsu would bash his younger sibling around continuously until he could barely stand and until Meitsu was to tired to swing. The three brothers had just now entered adulthood and they knew that there father, the king, was getting old and that he was already sick. One of them was to get the thrown and Meitsu couldn't allow his older brother to have it, and if he got rid of his older brother his younger brother may see. So he devised a plan, a dark and sinister plan one filled with evil and distant...

Personality: Hisan is one of those 'take it easy' kind of people that doesn't really like to work at any goals. Hisan loved his brothers, but never really knew how they hated him so. Hisan is a lonely soul and a dark and cold one at that.

 

Bio: Hisan grew up in a rich family. However, unlike Meitsu and Sykes, Hisan didn't receive the same type of care that they were given. Hisan was forced to play outside with them, even though he knew as soon as he went out Meitsu would just walk somewhere else in the huge kingdom yard. Hisan felt that Sykes didn't hate him like Meitsu did, but that Sykes was only showing a little distant towards him because Meitsu did.

 

Hisan, when the boys got older, often was bashed around by Meitsu. It was only stopped when either Meitsu can't swing or Hisan couldn't stand. Hisan knew that his father was very sick and the fact that hew older then most of the kings of the world. Hisan thought that Meitsu would be up to something as soon as the option of king arrived on his doorstep. The problem was is that Hisan could never figure out his train of thought at all.

I'm not, just thinking of the entrance post now.

 

 

"Hm, the time of new order will be upon us soon..." Meitsu Granville stated as he walked about the big library, that was full of shelves of books that went on for miles. He slid one of the books out and began to read. "This whole country and kingdom will soon become mine. However, to ensure that I indeed inherit this kingdom, I'll have to make sure some "things" are done..." Meitsu walked into his brothers chambers. "Hm, not here. I'll just leave him a not inviting him to the cliff side." Meitsu scribbled some things onto a piece of paper and then left it on the table. "Heh, it's a good thing...that my family and this nation...doesn't know how evil I actually am..." Meitsu withdrew himself from his brothers quarters and started to make his way to the cliff side for some preparation and to plan "it" all out so he would reduce the suspicion...

 

Several hours later Sykes Granville entered his chambers and noticed a folded piece of parchment that was sitting on his table. "Whats this?" Sykes unfolded the parchment and read the small note that was written on its grainy like composition. "I see, Meitsu would like to see me for something. Alright, shouldn't keep that anxious little guy waiting..." Sykes then walked out of his chamber and then down the hall until he reached an archway. He then proceeded to walk out of the archway and hike five miles or so to the cliff side. "Huh? Not here yet. Oh well, I'll just wait for him while I enjoy the sun and the view of Casalina(A smaller city inside of the country)." Sykes walked over to the hill side until he was about five feet away from it. "Ah, Casalina always shown so brightly in the summer sunlight." Sykes said under his breath.

 

Suddenly a blade of concentrated air sliced through three quarters of his upper back and chest. Sykes fell on his knees and blood kept pouring out from his deep wounds. "Keh! Who..." Sykes said as Meitsu sheathed his blade and walked over to Sykes, who was now on his hands and knees. "Meitsu, you son of a bit..." Sykes tried to say, as he was then knocked unconscious by a sword sheath slamming into the top of his spine. "I'm sorry but, you'll have to die big brother...." Meitsu said as he then Sykes' unconscious body down the cliff side and then hiked back to the castle. Meitsu entered the castle and went straight for a double door bedroom and opened the door slightly. "Hello, father..." Tiberius Granville raised his head in weakness and sickness. "My...son Meitsu...how are you..." Tiberius asked weakly. "Fine...." Meitsu said as he drew something from his pouch, slowly and swiftly so it couldn't be heard. "Good...your brother, Hisan...was here today...he's such a good lad..." Meitsu. "Yes..." Meitsu agreed as he readied the poison tipped throwing dart. "What...are you doing...son..." Tiberius asked, seeing the dart and then looking rather worried. "I'm doing whats necessary for our country..." Meitsu through the dart and pierced his fathers heart with it, the poison quickly coursed through Tiberius' entire body and killed him almost instantly. Meitsu then walked over to an old shelf on which a blade that his father carried now resided. "Richira, the sword my father wielded, I can use this in my plan..." Meitsu tucked the blade on his belt and fled the scene...

 

 

"Today is that day..." Meitsu said as a ghostly figure placed a kings robe about his shoulders. "This day is the day I become king of this sniveling dog's country, and begin my rule with an iron fist..." Meitsu said as the ghostly figure moved back into the shadows. Then there came a knock at the door, and Hisan Granville entered Meitsu Granville's chambers. "Meitsu, the people are ready to here and see you..." Hisan said as he waited for a response. "Hisan, come here and close the door behind you..." Meitsu said, as Hisan did as he was told and was now but a few feet away. "First of all. I killed Sykes..." Hisan had a look of terror and confusion on his face. "W-what do you mean!?" Meitsu gave an evil deceitful smirk. "Also, right after Sykes, I killed our father..." Hisan dropped to his knees. "B-but..." Before he could get a word in edge wise the ghostly figure was now in front of him with it's hand raised to Hisan's face. "Do it...Richira..." There was a flash of light and Hisan disappeared....

 

Meitsu Granville walked out of the his courtiers and moved to a big balcony like stage so all the people could see. "Good morning all my citizens." The citizens all cheered for there newest king, as Meitsu signed the documents to make himself king, and then was knighted by the Captain of the Royal Guard. "As my first act, we are no longer Kingdom Tiberius. We are now to be called, Kingdom Granville..." The crowed clapped and whistled. "My second act...all shifters and enhancers are to be bard from the kingdom immediately..." This came to a shocke to over forty percent of the crowd. Guards rushed out of there towers one after the other and pushed hundreds of enchanters and shifters back to the gates of the kingdom. After they were out of the kingdom itself, guards that were outside forced them to the country limits and left them there to die...

 

Meitsu turned back to his followers. "From this day forward, we are to be an all human kingdom and we shall only allow our own kind to gather and live here..." Meitsu said as the crowd seemed to be rather pleased with his acts.

 

OUR STORY TAKE PLACE ONE YEAR AFTER THESE EVENTS, SO THE SHIFTERS AND ENHANCERS HAVE BEEN OUTCAST FOR ONE YEAR

On the desert terrain of the continents outskirts, a solitary man was sitting on the dunes overlooking the town full of shifter outcasts knows as Cibil. The wind blew harshly and the sand push up against the houses and shacks of the outcast town forcefully, making some of them loose a wall or two. It was warm here, it was always room on the continents edge but usually no one from the kingdom had to experience it until now anyway. "This place..." The shifter said as he stood up and gave a sight reflecting his destine for the humans and his current livings...

Eru mumbled to himself as he was putting the finishing touches to his weapon. "Just attach this here... All welded properly... No more problems... There!" Eru brandished his new weapon, his Drill Lance. He fueled his energy into it, sending the drill at the tip spinning. "Now for a test run. Eru turned to a piece of scrap metal lying across the room, a ¼" steel plate. He threw the lance at it like a javelin, as it flew in a perfect ballistics trajectory. As I planned. The drill hit it head on, the spinning drill piercing through it like a hot knife through butter. Unfortunately, the steel had been lying against the wall, and the lance passed through it easily enough for it to continue through the wall, leaving a clean hole. Eru facepalmed. "No matter. It is finished. He retrieved his lance and began polishing it. There have been rumors of an uprising against the humans. I intend to be a part of it, and I will make them pay.

In a deserted scrapyard, Lucas was walking through looking for anything useful out of the piles of junk. "{Whistles} Hmm.... Doesn't look like I can use anything from here.... They're either defected or completely shattered.... {Sigh} I wish I have something to eat right now.... I'm starved...." Lucas continued walking until he was out in the open again. Lucas then saw a girl holding two katanas. "What the? Who's she?" Lucas ran over to the girl and was quickly knocked to the ground. The girl pointed one of her swords to Lucas' face. "What race are you?" the girl demanded. "I'm a shifter!"

 

"Humph.... Don't ever sneak up on me if you want to live...." The girl then walked away. Lucas quickly got up and began to follow the girl. "(Why did she attacked me?)" Lucas thought to himself.

Rayner looked around the town of Cibil, where he had been ever since he heard of Schiver's movement and decided to go join it, and not much was different about it. Like every day before it the sun was out in full force as were the winds and the sand. Rayner was out in his leopard form as he liked to start the morning shifted. He was simply walking around town to wake up a bit and get his body going for the day. He was very comfortable in his shifted form because unlike a lot of Shifted, he had never lived in a place, namely human settlements, where it wasn't accepted. And it wasn't like there was much to go about doing at the moment anyway. Rayner never thought of looking for Schiver as that often served no purpose.

"If Schiver plans to do something he'll find who he's looking for, not the other way around." Rayner thought as he moved about town. It was a thought that always came to mind when he thought about doing something. Something like a rebellion wasn't to be rushed he supposed.

[Final Fantasy Revolution]

As Rayner walked about in cheetah form, a peculiar man was watching him from the shadows and following him as he moved about the town of Cibil. The man stopped in a particular alleyway and then leaned up against the wall of the alleyway and looked over to the cheetah. "Hey, cheetah boy..." The man said at first, to get his attention. "Names Schiver, and ya look like a shifter who's got some ambition..." Schiver said, turning his body fully to the cheetah now.

A ghostly figured appeared behind Lucas, but wasn't close enough to be sensed by him. He started to clap slowly and then faster and faster, the figure couldn't be seen clearly in the dim light of the shop. Only the clapping and slight praise from the spirit could be heard all through out the workshop.

Rayner heard a voice as he walked and it introduced himself as Schiver. Rayner suddenly got excited. "Schiver? Cool! I've been wondering when I might be able to meet you. That's the whole reason I came to this town. I only knew the name so I wasn't sure if I'd be able to find you but.... anyway. If by ambition you mean I'm willing to fight the humans than you've got that right!" Rayner said. He hadn't counted on Schiver finding him so quickly and perhaps the fact that he had had left Rayner a bit more excited than he otherwise would have been. He hadn't been in Cibil long at the least. To think just walking around in his shifted form had helped Schiver find him.

Lucas ran after the girl and grabbed her hand, he was immediately taken down again. "Hey! What was that for just now?!" Lucas asked. "Do not grab me...." the girl responded. "I want to know why you attacked me last time?" Lucas demanded. "Isn't it obvious, I sense a weak presence nearby and thought you were a human...." the girl answered. "Weak?!-" Lucas was interrupted by the girl who covered Lucas' mouth with her hand. "Quiet...." Clapping can be heard quite loudly. "Who's there?! Show yourself!" the girl yelled out.

[Enrise]

"Granville, oh how I hope to bring the residents there to their knees, making them beg for their lives. Damn humans."

 

Gulbrand muttered to himself, staring at the city where the residents are happy with their lives, ridden themselves of the Shifters and Enhancers from staying in their city. Gulbrand was an Enhancer, one that was exiled to the town of Lyle, where the Enhancers live, as well as Salven and Carten.

 

"Come Joel."

 

Joel, who was standing a few feet behind Gulbrand, couldn't help but sigh at the hatred he breeds daily towards the humans since the outcast of the Shifters and Enhancers. She follows him, and slows down to ask a question.

 

"Gulbrand, what if this whole operation fails? I mean, why do we have to wage war? Can't we just come to good terms with the humans?"

 

"Good terms? What am I a negotiator? No, I'm not. I'm an Enhancer, like the rest and you yourself, have been banished from Granville. And because we've been banished, we're taking back the rights we deserve, for being treated like vermin. It's time for those pitiful humans who have no longer any right to live for their actions. They must be killed."

 

Turning away, he continues walking, with Joel eventually following him.

 

"Sometimes, I wonder what's in that thick head of his." Joel thought while looking back at the city of Granville, wondering how nice it must be. If only everybody could come to good terms and live in coexistence.

[Shradow]

Eru sat in his room, looking at a detailed map of the area. The Shifter towns Cibil, Leblonk, and Malgar... The Enhancer towns of Lyle, Salven, and Carten. There are many who think ill of the humans. I wonder how many will join the fray? Eru walked outside, raising his hand to cover his eyes from the light. He had been working inside for a long time. He looked around the town of Lyle, disgusted at what the humans had left for them. He carried his Drill Lance with him, not trusting enough to leave it indoors. Perhaps I can roam around town and hear something about this rebellion. Eru walked away from his house into town. During his walk he noticed a pair of Enhancers, a male followed by a female, speaking to each other. Those two... There's something about them. Eru stayed within earshot, but not close enough to look suspicious.

"Keh, lets just say a leopard wouldn't just wander into a small town without stirring anything up. Plus when I called ya you could listen, which meant ya were no ordinary animal. Come with me, we can talk at the base..." Schiver said, leading his newest ally to the middle of the dessert. "Whats yer name by the by?" Schiver said as he took out his knife, ready to do something...

The ghostly figure that was behind Lucas merely laughed and floated around, almost unseen. "Rebellion is key..." Was suddenly whispered into both Lucas and the strange woman's ear. "Rebel against the humans, kill Meitsu Granville, make the world a better place..." The ghostly figure vanished, as did the whispers he left...

Suddenly a hand extended from the sand and grabbed Eru's leg, it was a man of unknown origin who had been buried in the sand, probably by a passing wind storm. "Help..." the man paused to cough harshly and loudly, sand must have been in his lungs too. "Can't kill...." The man said to Eru and coughed again before passing out from lack of air...

"I suppose you're right. I do sort of stick out like this." Rayner said in reference to his animal form. He still stayed in it though. It's not like the current conversation was making him embarrassed about it or anything. Schiver then asked him for his name after saying they would continue to talk at his base.

"My name? It's Rayner Knight." Rayner said happily. He was now with Schiver was being led to his base. It was exciting for Rayner as that's what he had come to Cibil for. It was exciting, but Rayner didn't want to seem like a little kid about it. So he just followed Schiver as they began the walk to his base.

"Rayner Knight huh? Seems like a pretty cool kinda name." Schiver said, slicing his left hand and dripping blood on the sand below. "Alright step back Rayner." Schiver said, practically pushing him back as he said it. Suddenly the sand sunk into the ground, faster and fast every second until it made a large sized crater. Schiver jumped down and reached for the metal hatch's handle that was at the bottom of the crater. "Well, lets go, ya scared or something?" Schiver said, holding the hatch door open for Rayner.

"There's a couple, they must be enhancers since they show now bestial traits!" A few human soldiers said as they surround a group of two enhancers that were on the outskirts of Granville. They all drew their blades and looked at them intimidatingly. "Listen you enhancer scum, we gave you towns to thrive in not so you can hang out on the edge of our city!" A human soldier shouted out at the two enhancers.

As they walked, Schiver suddenly stopped and had Rayner back up. Schiver didn't really do anything but soon the sand was sinking down into the ground. And soon it seemed a large crater had formed in the sand. Schiver then asked if he was scared, and instead of replying he walked to the door that Schiver was kindly holding open for him.

"This place certainly puts the secret, in secret base." Rayner said in reference to how well the base had been hidden. Who would know it was there unless they'd been inside it? Rayner then stepped through the door and was sure to go far enough in to let Schiver himself through.

With Shciver and Rayner both inside the base it was safe to close the hatch and as soon as Schiver did sand started filling in on the hatch to return to it's original level of hiding. "It's gotta be secret, the humans persecute any shifters or enhancers that would retaliate against the humans, so if any of us got caught it'd be death on the spot." Schiver explained as they walked down a set of stairs and into a kind of common room with the bottom level being filled with three doors, and stairs that lead to four more levels of twelve doors each. "Come with me, ya gotta meat our chief if technology." Schiver opened the middle door on the bottom level of the base and walked in, he purposely left the door open so that Rayner could follow.

"I seriously doubt anyone would be able to find this place unless they've already been shown inside of it." Rayner said. The idea of the base was pretty cool. An entire building hidden several feet under the sand; it made a pretty secure hideout. Schiver said something about going to meet the chief of technology and opened another door obviously meaning that was where this chief was. Noticing Schiver was having to hold, or at least leave, doors open for him got Rayner thinking.

"Should I shift? No, there's no need to. Just because I met with the person I've been looking for doesn't mean I need to go about changing my routines and habits. And if he's okay holding doors open for a few seconds, there's no reason to get worked up over it. Come to think of it, that does sound pretty rude. But I'd feel weird throughout the rest of the day if I wasn't shifted in the morning so there's no helping it. ...That is a pretty weak excuse." Rayner thought. Rayner followed Schiver through to see what would happen next once inside.

Eru was about to continue following but suddenly a hand reached from below the sand to grab his ankle. Eru looked down to see a man, mostly buried in sand. "Help..." the man said before starting to cough violently. "Can't kill..." the man managed before he passed out. Who is this? He must've gotten buried during a wind storm. Pitiful. Well, if I must, I guess I'll take him back with me. Eru started digging around the man, finally managing to pull him out of the sand as sweat beaded on his brow. He picked him up and carried him on his back, careful not to wound him with his lance hanging from his back. He carried him back to his small house, laying him down on some blankets, trying to wake him up. "Hey... Wake up. Can you hear me?"

Once both were inside the room, Schiver closed the door and now only the illumination of at least twenty computer screens were all that were left to light the room. There was a man in a chair looking at all the screens and the chair suddenly turned around and revealed a medium height fellow wearing blue pants, a plain black shirt, and a long white lab coat. This man also had a pair of orange safety goggles strapped onto his head and over his forehead. "Hello, hello, hello!" The man said getting up from his chair and shaking Schivers hand. "And you! Yes, you! You must be Rayner Knight!" The man patted his head, since he was in shifted form, and ran back to the screens. He clicked a few buttons and the screens suddenly revealed a few things about him, all of which were common knowledge after meeting him once. "You see, we have a communication system in which I can listen in on all the conversations are resistance party is having and I can pick up a persons name and start inputting data!" The man was over excited about his machine, and he suddenly turned back to the two on a dime. "Where ARE my manners, my name is Doctor C.D. Maboza and I am the resistances chief of technology!" Schiver coughed so that Maboza would no to shut the heck up. "You see, Rayner." Schiver said turning towards him. "Maboza is an Enhancer who was already a scientists but when he realized his enhancement was to quadruple his intellect he was overjoyed. Knowing that he'd be forced to work for Meitsu Granville when the segregation started he ran from the city and came to me and joined my resistance." Schiver leaned in close to Rayner's ear. "Despite his over charismatic attitude, he was to valuable an asset to pass up." Schiver whispered with a smirk.

With a slow opening of his eyes and a big cough of sand into the air, the man awoke to the feeling of being slapped in the face repeatedly. "Ugh, I feel like I was trampled on by an elephant..." The man didn't even notice the second person in the room who was standing right over him. He sat up on the blankets and then looked up. "Who are you? And where am I?" The man said calmly as he looked around and in his new surroundings.

The man awoke not long after Eru had laid him down, asking who Eru was and where they were. "Hm. You're awake." He walked to a side of the room and picked up a canteen of water. He walked back to the man and handed it to him. "Drink this. My name's Eru. I found you, or for a better choice of words you found me, mostly buried in sand, so I brought you here. You're currently in my home, in the town of Lyle. Who are you? Are you an Enhancer? Shifter?" His eyes narrowed slightly at the thought of the next word. "Human?"

The man looked at canteen like it was being thrown to him in slow motion, for the contents of the inside were what he was searching for for days. "Thanks!" The man said, snatching the canteen of water and chugging it down like a mad man who had just gotten of prison. "Ah..." The man sounded, making a noise of utter refreshment. "That hit the spot." The man then turned to Eru. "Me? Eh, I'm an Enhancer but I was raised as a human, don't have any of their values though." The man looked out of a window to a field of sand. "Sorry, feeling a little absent minding. I'm Hisan Gra...nt, and I have no idea how I got into the desert in the first place." Hisan had to lie about his last name, not wanting to live with the shame his brother brought that last name. "So, Lyle huh, what kind of town is that? Where's it located?" Hisan asked Eru.

"It's nice to meet you too, Dr. Maboza." Rayner said, a little unsure of how to react to such an enthusiastic greeting. More than that, the idea that Maboza had already known who he was, was just a little odd. Even if the idea was the communication network, it seemed weird to Rayner.

"Is he usually this enthusiastic about meeting people though?" Rayner whispered back. Rayner liked Maboza, at least from what little he'd seen. He seemed nice enough and was certainly energetic about his work. Though Rayner hadn't appreciated the pat on the head much, he wasn't going to get after Maboza about it. That would be rude and Rayner didn't want to ruin his chances to join the group.

"So, is this just the first stop on a tour of all the interesting individuals around here, or did you mean to do something here first?" Rayner asked Schiver, not with a sarcastic tone but meaning it as an honest question.

"Dr. Maboza is one of the more important members of the resistance. Absolutely anything you have to ask about anything technological just ask him." Schiver said, and then turned toward the door. "Come, I want to sow you were you'll be staying for as long as your here." Schiver said, opening the door and then walking out. "We have several other resistance members moving about so don't be afraid to spark up a few friendships while your here." Schiver explained, from the main room of the base.

"Guess I should try to remember Maboza then. It looks like this place wouldn't be in nearly as good of shape without him." Rayner thought as he turned to walk out the door with Schiver. Schiver said he wanted to show him to where he'd be staying. Had this been his home town, Rayner may have objected about moving from his home to this base. However Cibil was not his home town and he wasn't all that attached to it. The idea of staying in the base was pretty exciting too.

"You say there are other members. So how big is this group? And are there other Enhancers among the group as well?" he asked as they walked. It seemed Schiver was willing to associate with anyone other than humans. Then again, many Shifters were that way. The two despised races were on pretty good terms with each other. Or at least the two groups didn't feel threatened by the presence of the other.

[Shradow]

Eru noticed the pause in Hisan's voice when saying his name. He must have something to hide. Eru sighed inwardly. Don't we all... Eru walked to a table and grabbed his map of the county, bringing it back to Hisan. He placed it down so they both could see, and pointed at Lyle's location. "Lyle is one of the towns that Enhancers have been forced into after we were outcast. It lies here, at the southern outskirts of the country."

[Enrise]

Surrounded by the soldiers, and being shouted at, Gulbrand gripped the hilt of the claymore. Joel however, stopped him. She felt the concern that this would affect them in the future.

"Gulbrand, don't. Not yet anyways. I know you have a grudge so strong that you're willing to go so far with these guys, but please..."

Gulbrand glared at Joel, and to the soldiers, and back to the her. He didn't loosen the grip on the hilt, but gripped it tighter, and gave a deep sigh, and glared at the soldiers around them.

"Joel, get down. Now." he commanded in a stern voice.

Obeying, she dropped, and in an instant, Gulbrand unsheathed the claymore, hacking the blade at the surrounding soldiers.
