I have made tons of cards in another card-making program (if you want: http://www.sendspace.com/file/vz59q6 or the attachment). It is very small and friendly program, but with some disadvantages (it's old so it doesn't have any synchro-monsters or tuners and more). Now, I found about this site, but i was disappointed. This card maker is so heavy and it's not easy-to-use, because it uses the internet and it is very slow and very unfriendly when you come for the first time a want to check things out. I want you to look at that cardmaker, and please, learn from it!

The biggest problem is the long wait time until you can see your card, even if you didn't change it, or add any picture to it. In the one I use when you change something you can immediately see the result, and here you can't know how much of what is written is represented in the card (especially when you change little things).

Sorry but that isn't the Card Maker's Problem it's your Internet. Easy to say, your Internet is slow and the Card Maker can still be refereed as the best Card Making Program.:)

I don't think it's my internet because my internet is pretty good. This is the only site i've had such problems with. But still, I didn't create this topic for disscusing my internet. I think a downloadable vesrion would benefit everyone and especially people like me.

Actually no it wouldn't. If i recall correctly there was a Downloadable Version in the Past but more people found the Internet Version better because the Downloadable Version was only Used to Create cards and you could not make Threads like this one if i recall Correctly. And if you want to make Cards without an Internet Connection just Use MSE.(Magic Set Editor.)

The downloadable version was a wreck. I'm an old user of the Card Maker since it was using very old graphics, and the downloadable version sucked, so it was removed. But if they make a downloadable version out of THIS card making engine: now we're talkin'.

YCMaker, on the original site, decided to make it online for a reason. You're get getting this downloaded. This is, Yugioh Card Maker 2.0...

for some reason, when I remade 2 of my cards today, it went realy fast and good. maybe it was just a bad internet-day. I am now going to upload all of my latest deck- the Super Mega Chaos Warrior deck. A deck of realistic Doom type monsters and related cards, focusing on special summoning the warrior and his trusty dog!

But I still think a downloable version would be good.

It doesn't take long to learn and the community is friendly, so there's nothing too bad about it. And its not slow if you use Mozilla Firefox.

Originally, when I had DSL, it took up to 3 minutes to generate the cards I wanted, and the site itself was slow, and today, at very rare occasions, this site would time out.

 

Anyway, if they were to make a YCM 2.0, it would allow you to email your cards to others, whether they are part of the Contact list or not. It would be nice, but it would be nice if this site was a downloadable MMO Social game. It's better and it makes it a bit easier to possibly post your fan-made cards.

 

This is just my thought. If you like it, continue from it. If you don't, ignore it, because YCM as a downloadable version would be nice, at least to me.

OT: The card maker is better. It doesn't need downloading. Deal with it.
