Jecht stopped Reina by holding her hand. He pulled her other hand towards him so she would be facing him. He left go of her hand to pull her head up so she would be looking at him.

"Listen, I don't know what "he" has told you but "he's" wrong. You deserve to be here. You don't deserve to be hurt as you've been. You deserve to be with someone who cares about you." Jecht smiled warmly and squeezed her hand gentally.

Reina had a different feeling about him that she had never felt before. Something inside her told her to trust him. A small smile appeared on her face. Her tail curled nevously around her leg multiple times. "Thank you..." Reina hugged him. He smelt good to her. She didn't want to let him go but she knew she had to. Her mind cleared as she had her arms around him. "Thank you Jecht..."

Jecht gladly hugged back, feeling great. He wished he could stay there forever, in that exact position. "Your welcome, Reina." He said to her. "Your welcome." He repeated softer this time. Jecht reluctlently pulled away from the hug after atleast a full minute, but still held her arms. He just looked into her eyes for a moment then said. "Well, Reina I'd hate to leave. I really do but I really have to get some sleep." He said smiling at her. He hadn't slept at all since two days ago.

After the fights at the school Soul could not bear but to sleep.He always uses his power to much and he allways faints.That is one of the thing Soul did not enjoy about himself.He always hoped one day he would meet someone to hold him back from using his powers.He hoped that person could help him right now to control them.But the only people he has met was Reina,Henrik,and Jecht.Anyways he thought it would be a good idea to sleep in the schools tree because he is an eccelent climber and He would get to school early.Even though he did not care for the time he got there.

"Okay." she nodded. "I understand." Reina forced a smile. "You should rest." She was about to start walking off. She didnt know where to go or what to do. Reina stood there looking at him. Her tail twitched normally again. What would happen when she was alone? Was anyone nearby that was going to attack her? Her mind quickly filled back up when he had pulled away and said that he had to get sleep.

Jecht looked at her and noticed her tail was twitching, that he learned meant she was nervous. He could see the worry in her face. He didn't want to leave her alone. He thought about her being attacked again, he remembered how she looked when she was alone under the the tree, and when she was against the wall by herself. Then he remebered the look of joy she had on her face when he brought her to the park. "But I could of course stay with you if you wanted. It wouldn't be a problem."

When Soul was trying to sleep he could not ignore the fact that the couple Reina and Jecht had to stay in the park.He did not spy on them though his ears would not hold back there voices.He did not interfere though he could hear them talking.He quickly remided himeself that he is abusing his powers again and changed back to normal.Soul used his power alot today and he tried to hold back the unconiessness but he quickly fainted in the tree.He only slept in the tree because he had no place to go.

Reina looked at him. "No. You need your rest. Don't worry about me." She forced another smile. "Your sleep is more important right now." She took his hand. "I will be fine. I have made it this far." She kept a fake smile on and turned away. Reina started to walk off. She hadn't realized it but her locket had fallen off and landed on the floor infront of Jecht. Reina just kept on walking acting like everything was going to be okay.

Jecht didn't believe a word Reina had said to him. Jecht thought Reina was a terrible liar. He watched her leave, wishing he hadn't said anything at all. He knew how she would feel once he left. He looked down to see a small locket on the ground, infront of him. "What's this?" he wondered aloud as he picked it up, curious. Reina probably just dropped it. He thought as he inspected the piece of jewelry. He looked up and she was still walking away. "Hey Reina!" He called out running towards her.

Reina stopped and turned toward him when she heard her name. "Is something wrong?" She was trying so hard not to hear his thoughts. She hadnt heard him that time since she had her mind on something else. Reina hoped that she had fooled him. She didn't want anyone to worry about her. She tried to look at him in the eyes but couldn't. Her tail twitched. She had a feeling he had saw through her lies.

Jecht ran to catch up with Reina. After he got there he stopped and tried to catch his breath. "No, no. You just dropped your locket." Jecht said, having caught his breath now and held out his locket by the chain so the locket was twisting around. Also the locket glittered brightly in the sunlight and sent small beams of light everywhere. It really did look beautiful to Jecht. "Here you go." Jecht said smiling at her.

"Thank you." She took it and put it on. "I can't believe I dropped that. Silly me." She lowers head head. Now that she thought of it he was the first guy she had talked to in a long time. Her ears flattened back. "You...You should get some sleep now..." She didn't know how to act when she realized that. Reina wondered if he had opened the locket. If so did he know about it? She was afraid to look at him.

Jecht looked st Reina and shook his head at her. "Listen Reina, tell me truthfully." He said and took her hand in his. "If you want me to stay please tell. You're not a "bother" to me, really. I want to be with you. I truly do." He blurted out and regretted it the second he said it. Jecht knew if Reina didn't feel the same way about him, he probably sounded really strange and probably just plain out creepy. He thought at that one moment he had blown it with her.

"I don't want you hurt...." Reina told him. "I want you to live and be safe. You need rest. I know you haven't slept in a few days." She looked at him. Reina didn't know if she heard him right. He said he wanted to be with her. She blushed not knowing what exactly to say. "I....I...I want to be with you to" She blushed more hoping he didn't notice.

Jecht extremely relieved and even a little surprised when Reina said she wanted to be with him too. "Reina, don't worry about me. I can take care of myself." Jecht watched as she blushed about what he said before and he smiled to himself. "Besides if anything were to happened to you, I wouldn't forgive myself. I would feel like it would be my fault, that it was because I wasn't there with you. I don't need sleep. I've gone without sleep before. More than you know." He said his face was serious now.

She took his hand and placed it on the bandage. "I could of healed that..." Reina looked up at him. "If he hadn't of made me put that spell on his blade..." She released his hand. "If I hadn't of did that I could of healed myself easily." Reina lowered her head. She blamed herself for what happened. She went quiet. Reina wished she didn't say what she just did. She wished she could take it back.

Soul finally woke from his unconsiossness and he could not stand the noise the couple was making.So he spread his wings stretched and he went over there.He said "Sorry to interupt but can you to keep it down,im sleeping in that tree right there."He pointed to the tree he was in then growled as he waited for an awnser.

"Yeah, but ehat if they hurt you too badly? What if they were to kill you." Jecht said and felt extremely stupid for saying it afterwards. Now how will that make her feel better? Jecht grabbed her hand again and embraced her into a hug. After a second he let go and held her arms like he did before. "I'm sorry for saying that." Then the other dragon half-blood from eariler came up to them. Jecht growled in return. "Sorry to interrupt your so important sleep." He said and looked back at Reina, now completely ignoring the dragon half-blood, and smiled at her. "C'mon you need to have some fun."

Reina nodded. His words stuck in his head. What if she was killed? She liked being in his arms. Reina felt safe around him. She smiled a bit when she saw him smile. Her thoughts started to fade away. She felt strange but happy as she stood there with him. Reina smiled back at him. Her ears perked up. Her heart raced.

Soul smirked and coughed as he said"Well as long as you too love birds can keep it down."And he took off for the tree he was sleeping in. He curled his wings in then looked at the stars as though if he could feel there heat.He was mad at he noise the couple had made earliar and he growled as loud as he could.Even though he could have swore it echoed across the world he fell asleep.

Jecht grinned at her, obviously having something in his head. He ignored the dragon half-breed again and he picked up Reina, like he carried her before, and streched out his wings to their full extent and flexed them, before folding them back to his back. "Hold on tight." He said to her and crouched down low. He looked at Reina one more time and then started running to build up speed. He extended his wings again and took off, into the sky.

She held onto him tight. Her heart seemed to flutter as he held her. Her eyes got big just like when she saw the park. Everything was so breath taking. Reina smiled big as they were in the air. "wow" Reina finally got the words out. "it's so beautiful. It must be so wonderful to fly. It's like...like being free." Reina seemed to relax

Jecht never stopped smiling through it. He glanced down every once in a awhile just to look at Reina. He dove down and flew lower through the park, swerving through the trees, his wings were dangerously close to hitting one of the branches of the trees. Jecht flew higher into the night sky, staring at the bright stars in the sky. There were no clouds in the sky and there was a full moon out. He felt like he was free.

She wished she had her own wings so she could feel free. Feeling free. It must feel so good. She looked up at Jecht wondering what he was feeling right now. Reina started to wonder why did he walk up to her the first time they met. What was his reason to talk to her? "The queen of Heartfall has never felt like this before. I bet she would be jealous." Reina smiled.

"I think anyone would be jealous." Jecht said as the couple flied through the night sky. He kept a steady beat of his wings and then just glided thorugh the air for a second before repeating the cycle again. Then he began flying in a straight line, not stopping his wing beat, and he gained more speed. Jecht's grip tightened on Reina and finally made a sharp 90 degree turn upwards but he didn't stop his turning and made a complete loop in the air. Jecht looked down at Reina smiling. He finally landed down in the middle of the park. "How did you like that?" He asked setting her down.
