For many years dragons and humans have never gotten along. For thousands of years both slaughtered the other until one day, a union was formed in the form of a child, a half breed. Gradually, more and more children were born half blooded. The strengths and weaknesses were different for each child. Recently, a secret half breed school was made for such children to learn and to study at in peace so that no one from the outside world would hurt them.This school is called CHASEN Academy.Welcome.

Henrik trudged through the grassy field in the campus filled with thousands of half breeds trampling through to the building in front. It was all he could do not to smack someone upside the head with his admittedly rather fluffy tail. As he was brooding over this fact, a long, scaly tail whacked into the back of his knee. Instinctually, Henrik turned around with teeth bared. The dragon halfblood screeched and scampered away into the crowd. Henrik sighed before arching his eyebrow and becoming invisible. This was going to be interesting.

Jecht walked up to the school. This was his first day at Chasen Academy. He didn't know what would happen. He was wearing a ripped pair of black jeans, a black t-shirt with the Three Days Grace logo on it, and his checkered hoodie. Jecht's wings were folded over his back, the ends were almost touching the ground. His wings were a dull red, which went well with his black outfit. He was overjoyed to just see other half-breeds around him. He used his claw-like finger to move his long hair out of his eyes.

Henrik slid through the crowd, black pointed ears twitching at the annoying chatter of she-dragon halfbloods talking about things like their flaming periods. He was glad to reach the front of the school, where the only person-not person, Henrik reminded himself, none of us are really people-only halfblood was an emo-looking dragon kid with red wings. Henrik swooped up to the kid and reappeared. "Hey, buddy, how's it going?"

"Yori slow down we're in no rush to get there." Yoru called out to his twin, who was a good ways in front of him. "I know, but I just can't wait to meet new people and make some new friends." With his hands shoved into his black skinny jeans, he leisurly covered the distance made by Yori. "Im sure you'll find some people to talk to death." Yori rolled her eyes and playfully smacked Yoru's arm. "Lets just go."

Jecht jumped when someone had seemingly appeared out of thin air and started asking him something, he wasn't used to people randomly popping out of nowhere. He composed himself and replied. "Okay I guess, first day and all." Jecht had many first days, having been transfered between schools many times for fighting. Dragons were not pacifists.Jecht was taking in the person who had came up to him. His eyes were those of a dog's and the same with his teeth. He expected him to be some canine hybrid of some sort. "I'm Jecht by the way, and I'm a dragon half-breed." Jecht introduced himself extending his clawed hand with a single red scale gleaming brightly in the sunlight, and ruffling the dull red wings on his back when he said he was a dragon half-breed.

Henrik extended a clawed hand to take that of Jecht. "Henrik Ellingboe. I'm a barghest halfblood." Realizing the confused look on his counterpart's face, Henrik continued, "Barghests are a kind of ghost dog from Britain. They're pretty cool if they don't decapitate you with their teeth." Mika laughed, revealing the razor sharp teeth he was talking about. "C'mon, orientation starts soon. Let's head in."

Arika sighed a happy sigh as she looked at everyone walking below. She sat high up in a tall tree, watching people, a smile on her pretty face. Some birds came near her and sat on the branch with her. She smiled at them, glad ot have them as company. She started humming a tune that seemed to always make people happy when listening to it's flowing melody.

Arika didn't really know anyone at Chasen academy, except for one. She smiled a kind smile at that thought. The birds saw Arika's hidden kiss show in her smile.

Daisuki sat in the shade of a tree, bored. He held a smirk on his face that was permanent. He cared nothing for the idiots that resided in this academy. However, some girls walked by and said hi to him in a flirtatious way.

He just smiled his cocky, sexy smile and said, "Hello ladies."

They giggled, bushing slightly and walked off. He sighed on the inside. This academy had nothing for him, and yet, it was the only place he can go to.

Reina sat in the shade away from everyone else. Her cat ears were flattened back as she stared at the sky. Her head was lowered so her hair shadowed her face. Her tail was limp on the ground. Reina didnt know how long she was going to stay. She wanted to eat, to sleep but she knew she shouldnt. So she just sat there on the ground waiting for time to pass.

"Ah, ghost dogs." Jecht said examineing Henrik's teeth. Then he mentioned something about the orientation that was about to start in the school. "Yeah, sure." Jecht said following Henrik into the front doors of the school. But right before he entered the school, someone caught Jecht's eye. He saw a girl, sitting in one of the trees around the school. Jecht stared at this one girl until he ran directly into the front doors of the school. He fell over clumsily hitting his head.

Daisuki saw this and laughed his ass off. Before that, he looked to see where the guy was looking at. It was a girl in the tree above him. She didn't look too bad. After Daisuki laughed his ass off, he went back to sitting there calmly, trying not to laugh.

Henrik laughed at his new friend's clumsiness. "Dude, we gotta work on that. I'm not that clumsy, and I'm Canadian.

*Time Skip*

Henrik patiently waited in the auditorium, or at least as patiently as he could. To his left was Jecht, still looking into the distance, but not like he was spacing, more like he was examining something in particular. Oh well, that kid was weird. To his right was some jerk named Daisuki who hit on every chick who passed by their row. Henrik sighed. Sometimes, he wished he was back in the homeland.

Her ears perked up when she heard the laughing and she looked around to see what was going on. She saw the other three and shook her head sitting back. Reina layed back in the grass and curled up. She was still fighting the urge to fall asleep. Just to sleep at least for a few minutes, thats all she wanted right now. Her eyes started to close.

Henrik waited patiently in the stuffy auditorium, flicking his eyebrows up and down to disappear and reappear as a large group of halfbloods, or as the overly peppy teachers called them, "mixed species," went up onto the stage to "introduce" themselves, which everyone knew was code for "make a huge fool out of yourself as a way for the teachers to torment you." Finally, after a stuttered mispronunciation that sounded like "Hinwreck Tentpole," Henrik walked up to the stage, making a big show of appearing on stage and scaring the crap out of everybody.

Daisuki got bored easily and ksipped out on the assembly. He snuck out and headed back to the tree. Everyone was beneath him. They weren't worth his time. He laid in the grass, looking up at the sky.This academy was so boring. There was no way he was attending that stupid assembly. It alos was a waste of his time.

"I'm so bored..." He complained aloud to himself.

She sat up in the grass and looked around noticing the people were gone. Reina stood and brushed the dirt of looking around to see where she was suppose to go. She noticed the guy nearby but looked away. Reina didnt want to bother anyone. She started to walk toward the building.

When the twins finally got there they were delighted to see so many half-breeds like them. It was nice to actually see others like yourself. "This is awesome!!" Yori yelled loudly causing many heads to turn in their direction. Yoru sighed, "Sis, do you have to be so excited AND loud?" His twin turned to him frowning and hands on her hips.

 

Yoru groaned knowing that stance well. "How can you not be excited? I mean look around. This place is amazing." He only strugged and walked passed her. "How about you be excited for the both of us." Yori smiled, running to atch up, "Fine by me." They heard about an assembly so they went there waiting for whatever to happen. Well Yori was, her twin only wanted to sleep.

Henrik quickly began rapidfiring words like a machine gun, sounding like auditory sugar to the listening audience, with all the hyperness as well as the sweetness. "Hello, good people-sorry, halfbloods-"the teachers winced at that one-"my name is Henrik, Henrik Ellingboe, and I'm Canadian. I'm a halfblood Barghest, which is basically a big black ghost dog, as you may have been able to tell from the ears and the tail." He wiggled his fluffy tail to prove his point.

When Jecht was called up to the stage he went up feeling proud. "Hey, I'm Jecht Kyne and I'm part dragon. He smiled and showed off his fangs, and opened up his red wings to their full extent, opening up taking up most of the stage and accidentally wacking one of the teachers, apparentally the principal, with the end of his wings. The way he was standing the light coming in from the window made the scales that dotted his face and those on his body glittered in the sunlight. He loved to show-off.

Henrik looked, impressed, at his friend Jecht's wingspan. This was a rather intense look for the surprisingly quiet kid he had seen before, and his roommate according to the slip of paper he had been handed after he disappeared off the stage and nearly knocked over the principal. He was impressed at this dragon halfblood's intense need to show off apparently. Henrik reappeared on his seat to clap on his awesome dragon buddy.

She walked in and saw them. Reina didnt know what was going on or where to go she she stood back away from everyone else there. She listened to the people talk. Reinas temperature dropped so she felt cold. She stayed quiet watching everyone keeping her back to the wall.
