Silent Hill: The Curse of Toluca Lake[IC][Started / Accepting][PG-16+]

Cheryl was traveling through Silent hill in search of Victoria when her cell phone went off. "Hello? Is that you Nathan? Have you found Victoria!?" but to Nathan, all he could hear is "He..o? .. T..t .ou N...an? ..v. y.u ...nd Vic...ia?" and it would be the same as Nathan talked on her end.

-meanwhile in Lakeside Amusement Park-

"Me? Like this town? Frankly it creeps me out!" Victoria giggled as they passed the tea cups, "My mother told me of her adventure here, I thought it was a lie, but it seemed so true! Her name is Cheryl."

-in the Otherworld-

"But how can that be!?" Clyde was in deep confusion. "How can Harry be alive? Is he alive? Or does this prove my theory!?" Clyde took a picture of it and put it in his backpack. "Now what to do?"

Nathan could only slight parts of what Cheryl was saying. "Cheryl? Cheryl? Are you there? What's the matter?" Nathan's phone then went dead for some reason. "Huh? What the hell is happening?" Nathan then continued to walk around, still holding onto the mallet for self defence if needed. Nathan soon encounter a man [Clyde] who seems to be confused about something. "Thank God.... Umm excuse me. Do you know where we are?" Nathan asked the man.

 

-Meanwhile-

 

"Cheryl? As in Cheryl Mason? I'm actually looking for her to do an interview. Do you think I can come with you to see your mom Victoria? Please, it's part of my job, it would be really helpful." Ethan pleaded, even going to grabbing her hand with both of his hands.

Clyde was on the ferry and was confused by the note left behind, Suddenly apelike monsters (Rompers) Emerged from Toluca lake, "Wha-?" Clyde began swinging at the ones trying to get on the boat. Blood from the monsters was everywhere and the lake water turned Red around his ferry, "Damn! This pipe can do some damage!" As he got to land in South Silent hill, he noticed a normal man [Nathan] "Of course I know! This is the Otherworld! The Nightmare world! Oh how I've been dreaming for the day to come when I could come here!"

-back at the park-

"hmmm..." Victoria pondered for a moment, "On one condition, you have to go into the tunnel of love with me!"

"The Nightmare World?.... What the hell is that?" Nathan asked confused about what was happening. "Well, wherever we are locted. Do you think you can help me out of here. Also, has there been a serial killer on the loose lately? Cause I've just encountered a dead body and a man who tried to kill me...." Nathan stated.

 

-Meanwhile-

 

Ethan began to slightly blush after hearing that. "Umm, alright...." Ethan responded. He didn't know what else to say at this moment.

"Killers? Ha! In this world everyone is a killer! Supposedly this is a world full of monsters. We shall exit it at any given moment! I am the publisher for Nightmares Magazine, I'm Clyde Jacobs, nice to meet you." Clyde left his hand out for a hand shake and hit the head of a monster with his pipe at the same time [/epic]

-back at the Amusement park-

Victoria giggled and brought Ethan to the tunnel of love, the second they entered, all of the people in line turned to ash and the walls and floor became rusty. "Wh-what's going on Ethan!?" Victoria grabbed onto him as they had both entered the nightmare world.

"I'm Nathan Edwards." Nathan replied as he shook Clyde's hand. "This nightmare world is filled with monsters? That's really unbelievable but since I'm seeing all of these weird things here, then I'm more incline to believe your story." Nathan stated as he smashed a monster's head with his mallet. "So, that means we're basically stuck in here until it just suddenly stops by itself?" Nathan asked. "At least we need to get to a safe place."

 

-Meanwhile-

 

Ethan looked around as he saw the people turning to dust and the walls becoming rusted. "I don't know.... But stick close to me. We need to get out of here." Ethan stated as he grabbed Victoria and headed for the exit.

"Yeah I suppose your right, let's just stay away from the Hospital, If the storied I heard are right, we should head for a house." Clyde then took out a huge map of all of silent Hill. "Well, we are here, in South Vale. North of here is Paleville. We are here at the Boat Launch, we should head down to Munson Street where the Residential area starts. No one lives here so I think we should be fine."

-meanwhile-

Victoria screamed as two hideous monsters with their upper bodies wrapped in a mess of rotten flesh and skin walked up to them.

"Right. We'll stay there and wait it out. After this I'm leaving this place.... If this place has all of these weird things then I should've never gone here. Well let's go." Nathan said as he awaited Clyde to get going. Nathan didn't know Silent Hill very well so he decided to just follow Clyde. "(Wait.... but I still have something to do here.... that woman.....)" Nathan thought deeply to himself.

 

-Meanwhile-

 

Ethan's eyes widened as he saw the two monsters. "(Wh-what the hell are those things?!)" Ethan thought in his mind as he made sure Victoria stayed back. Ethan, without another word, looked around the area for anything that he could use for a weapon. Ethan then saw a metal pipe and quickly ran over and grabbed it. "Victoria, I want you to stay back but don't go too far from me. I wouldn't want to see you get captured by these things. (These must be the monsters Clyde was talking about.)" Ethan thought to himself.

 

Ethan quickly run up to one of the monsters and tried to attack it with the pipe. However, the monster easily overpowered Ethan and pushed him down to the ground. "Ugh....." Ethan got up from the ground. "(These things are powerful.....)" Ethan thought to himself. The monsters began to move towards Ethan and Victoria slowly. "Victoria.... If anything was to happen to me.... I want you to run away from here and get to a safe place.... I don't want to see you get hurt...." Ethan stated. Ethan then ran towards the monsters and whacked them as hard as he can with the pipe. The monsters were damaged and fell to the ground. Ethan didn't waste anytime to finish off the monsters. Ethan then dropped to the ground. "{Panting} I did it...." Ethan said to himself.

Victoria Watched as Ethan fought off the monsters, they were on the floor bleeding an odd color blood, darker than normal blood. Victoria then helped Ethan up. "Oh, my hero!" Victoria then gave Ethan a big hug. "Listen, I have a medical Kit at my friend's house, they don't live to far from here but it is a few streets down, do you think you can make it?"

-meanwhile-

Clyde walked the streets of Silent hill, all of the walls of the city were covered in blood, it chilled him to his spine. But since this is what he's been waiting for, he took some pictures every now and then. "Sorry, they're for the Magazine." Clyde then found a two by for with nails sicking out of one end. He then tossed it to Nathan. Clyde gave Nathan the Two by Four. "Use it! It'll have to do until we find better weapons. I gave my pistol to one of my reporters so..."

"Thanks...." Nathan dropped the mallet he was using and grabbed hold of the two by four. "This has a longer reach, It should make dealing with those things easier. And you reminded me that I came here to also take pictures of supernatural things like this." Nathan took his camera and began taking pictures while following Clyde.

 

-Meanwhile-

 

Ethan's eyes widened a little as Victoria hugged him. Ethan gave a slight smile at that. "Yeah, I can make it. I wasn't really hurt. They were able to knock me down, but that isn't enough to kill me." Ethan joked. Ethan then felt something on his chest and reached into his jacket to grab it. It turned out to be a gun. "I-I totally forgot I had this...." Ethan stated.

IC: Victoria wanted to face palm herself but avoided it. "{giggle} Well I guess you just have to remember next time!" THere was an awkward silence, "So... What should we do now?"

Clyde turned to see Nathan taking pictures, "Oh really? Who do you write for?" It was journalist talk. It was just like how people who work in fashion say "Who are you wearing?" the answer was the name of the company or designer. "A newspaper maybe?"

"Who do I write for? Oh, you mean as in journalism.... Well, actually I'm a free lance photographer here to take pictures of the 'supernatural' forces occuring here at Silent Hill. But that's not really my true reason why I came here. Clyde, I need to ask you a question." Nathan said as he reached into his pocket and pulled out a picture. "Have you ever seen this woman in Silent Hill before?" Nathan asked as he showed a picture of the woman resembling his wife.

"What do you mean? Aren't we going to your friend's house to get some medical supplies? Don't worry, I'll protect you Victoria. Those things won't lay a single finger on you. After we get the supplies, we'll continue on to try and find your mom. After that, we need to get out of here. A friend of mine named Clyde told me about this. Apparently, we are in the Nightmare World. I don't know how to get out though, but I'm sure we'll get out somehow." Ethan then held to Victoria tighter. "I hope you're not cold." Ethan stated.

Victoria giggled, "Oh yeah. I forgot." she blushed as Ethan held her closer, "C-c-come on, it's this way." Victoria then grabbed Ethan's arm and ran towards the street.

-meanwhile!-

Clyde examined the picture close. "Mmmm haven't seen her, I'm sorry but If she hasn't been in one of the rumors I've heard then I have no clue, I only know of these people." Clyde pulled out the pictures of Cheryl, Travis, James, Michael, and Henry Townshend. "Have you seen any of these people? They all have been in contact with weird experiences relating to Silent Hill. I've heard that most of them are here at the moment."

Nathan's eyes widened in surprise as he saw the photo of Cheryl. "Yes.... I've seen her...." Nathan started as he pointed to Cheryl's photo. "In fact, right now I am helping her finding her daughter, Victoria. So I guess this is what she means.... Cheryl told me that she had a bad experience in this town.... She must've mean this Nightmare World.... I can see why that is a bad experience." Nathan stated while pulling out his cell phone. "I have her number in here. I tried to call it but there was too much static. If you have a cell phone then maybe you could try to contact her with yours." Nathan suggested.

 

-Meanwhile-

 

"Whoa!" Ethan said as he was pulled by Victoria. "I really hope we make it out of this.... Wait.... I almost forgot...." Ethan then gently stopped Victoria. "Can you hold on for a little bit? I need to call my friend Clyde and tell him what's going on." Ethan took out his cell phone and dialed Clyde's number. Ethan then waited for Clyde to pick up.

"Oh yeah! Sure I can call Cheryl, static huh?" Then suddenly Clyde's cell phone rang off. He turned it on, "Sorry, one second." He apologized to Nathan. "Ethan!? Is that you? What's going on? Are you in the Nightmare World too?" It was all clear through the phone. Clyde was hoping Ethan had found Cheryl, or Victoria at second best.

-meanwhile-

"Oh! Okay, I'm sorry but who is this Clyde?" Victoria was curious of this person named Clyde and what he had to do with all of this.

[.:Blu:.]

"Yeah it's me Clyde. Hold on for a little bit." Ethan placed his phone to his side and looked back at Victoria. "Clyde is the person I first met here today. He offered me a job as a journalist for Nightmares Magazine. I was suppose to find someone named Henry Townshend to interview but I guess I found someone else." Ethan explained as he turned back to the phone. "Clyde, I had no luck finding Henry Townshend, but I found Victoria Mason, daughter of Cheryl Mason. Where are you right now?" Ethan asked.

"Wait! You found Cheryl's daughter!? Excellent! That's amazing! Have you met Cheryl yet?" Clyde got excited and then answered his question, "Me? Right now I'm on Munson Street in South Vale. Are you still in Paleville?"

-meanwhile-

"Oh!" Victoria said, "So he gave you a job just after meeting you? Wow the world sure is weird!" Victoria then looked off into the distance she saw a giant knife being held by something, she couldn't tell what it was, the fog was too thick. "Wh-what is that?"

[.:Blu:.]

"No I haven't found Cheryl yet, but I'm going to go with Victoria to go and see Cheryl. I have no clue where I'm at to be honest, but I'll let you talk to Victoria." Ethan then turned around and looked at Victoria. "Hey do-" Ethan stopped when he saw a strange figure in the fog holding something huge. Ethan put the phone back up. "Clyde, I'll call you later. I have some company." Without another word, Ethan placed his cell phone back into his pocket. "Victoria.... We gotta go find somewhere safe to hide.... That thing probably can't see us through the fog so let's quietly move over to the next street by using that pathway." Ethan said as he pointed in the direction of the pathway between two buildings. Ethan then grabbed Victoria and quickly yet subtly move to the pathway. "I hope that thing doesn't follow us...." Ethan said.

 

-Meanwhile-

 

"So what happened?" Nathan asked.

"Wait What's going on?" Ethan then hung up. "Damn!" Clyde turned over to Nathan "I-I have no Idea, all I know is that something happened." Clyde then looked off in the distance, trying to pierce through the fog and saw, nothing, but the ground began to rumble, "What the-" suddenly a crack appeared in between where they were standing, "What the fu-" Suddenly a giant Split worm came from the ground and separated Clyde and Nathan. "Holy Sh*t! Nathan! Run!" Clyde tried to run around the worm to get to Nathan but the worm began to fall in his direction so he had to take a step back.

-meanwhile-

The mysterious figure drew closer, it had a Pyramid, no, Wedge shaped head. It carried a large knife, "E-Ethan, I-It's Pyramid Head!" Pyramid head slwoly walked towards them, each step, his sword made noise, scratch, squeek, clink, scrape, Pyramid Head has come to Rape.

[.:Blu:.]

"What the-" Nathan began running to try to get to safety. "What the hell is happening here?!" Nathan then noticed a couple of steel fence posts. "Huh? That could come in handy." Nathan picked up the fence posts and threw one over to where Clyde was and then began stabbing the worm with another steel fence post. "Clyde! Help me kill this thing!" Nathan yelled.

 

-Meanwhile-

 

"Damn it! It saw us!" Ethan watched as the huge monster came closer. "Victoria, I want you to find a safe place to hide. I'll deal with this thing." Ethan said as he took his gun out and pointed at the monster. "Victoria, go...."

[MortalKombatSmoke]

Clyde Picked up the steel post and Stuck it into the Monster, "It's not doing anything! It's skin is as hard as a rock!" The Worm, now on the ground, turned to Clyde and the skin covering it's head opened widely and it's mouth shrieked "Holy Sh*t!" Clyde threw the Steel post at it and it pierced it's head and it gave a painful squeal, "I think we have to hit it when it's skin isn't protecting it!"

-meanwhile-

"Okay, just come back safe." victoria ran as fast as she could while Pyramid Head grew closer, he raised his giant knife and swung it at Ethan.

[.:Blu:.]

"Alright then!" Nathan moved to the left side of the worm and started to hit its armor to agitate it. "C'mon you stupid worm! I bet you can't eat me!" Nathan yelled while waving his arms around. The worm snarled at Nathan then the skin covering its head opened up again. "(Alright, gotta time this just right.)" Nathan thought to himself while keeping his complete attention on the worm. The worm then launched itself towards Nathan to try and eat him. Nathan quickly rolled out of the way and pierced directly into it's brain cavity, killing it. "{Panting} I killed it!" Nathan yelled to Clyde.

 

-Meanwhile-

 

Ethan quickly dodged down to avoid the attack from Pyramid Head. Ethan then rolled backwards to get some distance. Ethan pulled out his pistol and aimed it at Pyramid Head's body and shot it two times, both shots aimed for the center of its body.

Clyde gave Nathan a thumbs up, "Good Job man!!!" Clyde went over to Nathan to help him up "You did good!" Suddenly all of the rust began to fade, "What the-" all of the buildings were back to normal, the streets were no longer covered in worm corpse, they had exited the Otherworld, "Well, I think we've escaped."

-meanwhile-

Pyramid head moved his head down and the bullets ricochet off it. Pyramid Head then lifted up his great knife and began swinging it like a mad man.
