Kitty
Electabuzz Type: Electric. Special Ability: Static - May paralyze others who physically attack him. Level 100 Any Move Set ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Jolteon Type: Electric Special Ability: Volt Absorb - Turns all electric based attacks into HP Level 100 Any Move Set
Dark
AHAHAHAHAHA. Electabuzz isn't even fully evolved; Electivire is. Jolteon nullifies its STAB attack. Jolteon is faster and has Shadow Ball. The only reason Electivire would be better than Jolteon is in respect to movepools.

Grunt Issun
HAHAHAHAHAHHHAHAHHHAHAHAHAHAAHAH....im sorry Electabuzz cant use STAB attacks, considering most trainers that use electabuzz...they usually give him at least 3/4 electric, and the other is like a fire, or ice punch
Jonni-Boi
well he is still a good with stanima
Clair
Lol. Volt Absorb screws Electabuzz's STAB attacks, and it's now NFE. Jolteon has great SpA and Speed stats, so it can easily nail Electabuzz with a Hidden Power or Signal Beam or something. well he is still a good with stanima Electabuzz's and Jolteon's base HP stats are the same. =/

Even then he draws them in just the movepools, i'm pretty sure Jolteon is boss here.

Dark
Jolteon, then. Let's look at a damage calc. SpecsJolteon (most common set) does 48.9% - 57.7% with Shadow Ball. Assuming two high damage rolls (or Spikes or Toxic Spikes or Stealth Rock or any prior damage :/), that is a solid 2HKO, no questions asked. Electabuzz will most likely use special attacks, hitting Jolteon's higher Base 95 SpD. Meaning that it won't be doing crap. Jolteon outspeeds, and as shown, 2HKOs. CarlinFan
Jolteon says: I have Volt Absorb. Your STAB is invalid. Jolteon's faster and renders STAB moves useless. Plus, Electabuzz isn't even fully evolved.
Kotaro
Jolteon would win, ability and spikes pretty much sums it up.

LarvaeMothKaiba
Jolteon has Volt Absorb and better stats. Electabuzz has a better movepool. I'll go with Jolteon on this one.
Lazer Yoshi
Joleton. It's much quicker and I believe it has a higher Sp. ATK.
