Zain walked down a side alley, ready to confront the man who was following him. Once the strange man saw that they were alone, he challenged Zain to a duel. "A duel huh?" Zain replied, "I go first." They both drew. I summon Elite Goblin Attack Force in attack mode and set 4 cards facedown and end my turn," Zain said. The stranger drew. He started laughing as he activate a card called Seal of Orichalcose.

 

"Now if you lose, you lose your soul!" He said as he set a monster in facedown defense position.

Zhalia gave Desperado a vague smile and yelled, "I activate 'Neo-Spacian Blossom Rose's effect to counter your 'Heavy Storm'! By returning her to my hand, I can negate an effect that destroys 2 or more cards on the field!" "Blossom Rose" shot a petal at the storm and another one at Zhalia, causing the storm to subside. "Well, then, what will be your next move?" "Skyscraper" is... disposable, but not my set...

"i end my turn with just my monsters on the field in attack mode. I set 2 cards facedown still to ensure my victory." Desperado smiled "i cant wait to win and hone my victory prize." he laughed alittle and made acouple of jokes about himself but then became alittle more serious for the dueling. He thought, Perfect everyone is watching maybe even Hadeus.

"Okay, my turn, draw!" She looked at the card and added it to her hand. "By Void Warrior's effect, he returns to my hand! I Special Summon 'Neo-Spacian Blossom Rose'! Contact Fusion! Arise, 'E-HERO Thorn Rose Neos'! Your Spells and Traps are destroyed! I use 'Allure of Darkness, removing from play 'Void Warrior' once more! After that, I set 1 card and Summon 'E-HERO Bladeedge' by Necroshade's effect! Neos, attack Galaxor, and Bladeedge, attack his face-down!"

Thank you Exodior the Foribdden Defense for he sends himself and your monsters back to your hand." Desperado had one card appear in his hand. "i choose bladege and Thorn Neos." (galaxor is in defense mode Btw)

Zhalia bit her lip. "Thorn Neos is returned to my Extra Deck instead and I activate O - Oversoul to bring back a Neos that you discarded by God of the Underworld. Turn end..." Then, she calmed. It was but... A minor inconvenience. I shall make a comeback! "Even so, both cards are destroyed and you take damage from the difference between Bladedge and your set! I have absolutely no idea what it's DEF is so, you'll be the judge of that!"

[Zetsu-plant]

Desperado drew his card "hmmm i activate the spell card Double Draw to draw 2 cards. Now i set a monster in defense mode and set 1 card facedown." Desperado was not sure if he could win but he didn't care. He didnt want to be a lowly rare hunter, but he didn't want to have to be accepted by everyone, including Hadeus

Zhalia smiled as he ended his turn. "I activate 'Dust Tornado' and destroy your face-down!"

"My turn, draw!" She looked at her new card. "Wow... third time's the charm, they say... I activate the effect of my Voider and return it to my hand! By Void Warrior's effect, I can add 1 Polymerization from my Graveyard to my hand! I activate 'Polymerization' and fuse my 'E-HERO Void Warrior' and 'E-HERO Swap Spirit'! Come forth, the dimension lord, 'E-HERO Spirit Voider'! I attack your face-down with Neos, and you directly with Spirit Voider if it's destroyed!"

 

[spoiler=This only takes place if your set monster is destroyed.]

"I roll a die by Spirit Voider's effect!" Spirit Voider faded away and a die appeared in his place. The die rolled on it's own and landed on a 5. "That's 3600 ATK! It's over!"

Desperado smiled "good duel. Maybe next time we duel i can get a... better set of monsters in my deck." he then took out his deck from his duel disk and threw the deck overboard. "There we go, now i don't need that deck anymore do i." Desperado then walked away into a room that had his "real" deck which he then grabbed and shoved in his duel disk. "I won't lose anymore, atleast that is what the Lord Death Chimera said." Desperado laughed and then walked away making sure he was not being watched

[~Duo~]

Zhalia sighed as he left. Oh, well then... I was going to, but... Neos, can you come out? The Duel Spirit appeared as she commanded. She still had her duel disk on. Zhalia searched her deck for his card and played it. Neos appeared to be more solid then. "Can you get his deck for me? I'd like to see something," she asked him. Neos nodded, and with a grunt, he jumped over the railing and grabbed the deck, threw it back at Zhalia, and he disappeared. Zhalia caught it with amazing skill and looked through it. She smiled. Not bad. I guess it was either my skill or his bad luck that he had lost. She placed it in her belt and resumed watching the growing land.

Desperado sighed. "I guess it really isn't my thing to become emotionally attached to someone but i must say i am absolutely inlove with good duelists. I was playing my cards right for every part of the duel but exodia can't be used when the trap cards you play are no longer in affect." Desperado then walked out onto the deck and sat there for alittle while.

[~Duo~]

Zhalia, noticing Desperado again, walked over to him and threw him his deck. "Keep it," she said forcefully. "You don't have to use it, but keep it... It has potential." Then, she broke into the first true smile in a long time. "Possibly, I will go your 'date' on a few conditions. One: Our duties permit it. Two: You are sure you can keep me interested... or I swear, you're going to wish you never asked. And three... If we survive this." Neos appeared, looking stern. She looked at him. "Are you jealous?" she whispered to him. No, of course not, I'm just trying to prote- "Yep, you are jealous," she laughed.

Desperado broke a smile "I can keep you interested." he then leaned back lieing on his back to look up at her "I will survive and i am sure you will too, and he is totally jealous." he then got up and showed her my "old" deck. "i will keep it only because you tell me to and also it had, potential." Desperado shoved it in the opposite pocket to keep it safe. "So anyway, going back to work, when do we reach the island we are trying to get to?" desperado then brushed Zhalia's hair

Zhalia grabbed his arm quickly and curled her lip. "Not yet. As for when we arrive, I have no idea. I expect Master Hadeus knows, though," she said curtly. She, interested, mused, If he rushes it, he'll be better off dead. She leaned back on the railings, watching the seagulls, ocean, and beautiful sky. Pity... it is so beautiful, but none of it will matter in this battle. She looked around, then walked away, planning to take a stroll to pass the time.

Desperado smiled "oh my i like her allot." Desperado then sat back down and looked at his Exodia deck for a while. "Why did you fail me, you were made to defeat all opponents. Have you come of age?" Desperado put it back into his pocket and then pulled out his new deck. "This one will do nicely, although i have never seen such weak monsters. 0 attack for 2 of them and one of them is a level 8 and then the strongest monster in this deck has 1 attack point and defense points. Why would these be the underworld decks." Desperado gazed at it not realizing that what he had in his hand is truely a past memory that he just cannot remember.

[Daxter]

So as Hadeus was standing at the highest point of the boat, he saw how the now much closer Xiona was soon going to be his little playground. "Stop the boat!" He yelled down to the Rare Hunters who were acctually controlling it. The boat stopped near a huge rock formation and put its anchor down. "Alright, now everyone get in one of the life points and take that to Xiona, if anybody sees our boat, they might call the police, I'm not liked to much in this town." Hadeus chuckled to his crowd of minions. "Alright everyone, now today, you are to go out and find 1 duelist to duel and strip them of their best card, report back to me. Now I don't care where you stay or what you do, but remeber 2 things. 1, get rare cards, and 2, if you find anything out about the Orichalcose, come to me immediatly!" Hadeus jumped over the side of the boat and landed in a already prepared life boat.

----------------------------On Xiona-----------------------

Hadeus was strolling through the alley ways, with his robe he didnt look to friendly, didnt want to draw attention to himself. So he walked through the alleyways, looking for something, anything that would lead him to where he needs to go. He saw a young man walked, had to be in his early 20's with a duel disk. Duel him. Follow him and crush him! Hadeus heard a voice yelling to him. "Whos there?!" Hadeus roared. He pulled out his millenium rod. "Show yourself, now!" Hadeus couldn't believe what he saw next. He saw a Des Frog, like the one he found in the ocean, it jumped out from behind a trash can. Listen to me Hadeus, duel him! Hadeus was a little in shock. "What...why?" Hadeus questioned, he thought maybe he had gone crazy. Because, he has a valuable card, trust me, duel him now! Hadeus couldn't believe he was going to listen to a frog. He ran over across the street into the other alleyway where the boy was. He turned around. Hadeus activated his duel disk and began to laugh. Well seems, luck is not yours today, you have now made a date with the Shadow Realm!"

 

The boy activated his duel disk, and the duel was off and running, now Hadeus would test his new deck, in the shadow games.

[Sander]

In a valley of Xionia, Erik was dueling some random duelist, who was obviously scared. The score was set in favor for Erik, who's Life Points hadn't been lowered by much, only by 500. His opponent, in the other hand, had already taken 2100 points of damage.

 

It was the turn of the opponent. "I resurrect the Treeborn Frog from my Graveyard and use him as a Tribute for my Caius the Shadow Monarch!" The frog disappeared from the field, and a large and evil figure took his place. "Now, since I Tribute Summoned Caius the Shadow Monarch, I get to remove from play 1 card from your side of the field, I choose your "Clown Zombie".

 

Erik placed the card into his pack pocket, "Is that all?" he asked with a calm, yet scary voice. "Not at all, since the monster that Caius removed from play was a Dark monster, you take 1000 points of damage." Eriks life points were reduced to 2500. "Now Caius, attack his Blue-Eyed Silver Zombie (900 ATK)!"

 

Just as Caius was about to engulf the Blue-Eyed Silver Zombie, Erik interfered, "Sadly, I can't let you do that, I activate my face-down card, "Waboku!" You could see the disappointment in the opponent's eyes. "Fine, I'll end my turn!".

 

The opponent's field currently only consisted of Caius the Shadow Monarch and he had 2 cards in his hand. Erik's field consisted of 1 Blue-Eyed Silver Zombie and 1 Temple of Skulls in Defense Position. He also controlled 1 Call of the Mummy. He had 3 cards in his hand.

 

"Now, it's my turn," he said as he drew a card. "I'll start by activating the effect of Mezuki from my Graveyard. By removing him from play, I can Special Summon 1 Zombie-Type monster from my Graveyard. I'll Special Summon another "Blue-Eyed Silver Zombie" from my Graveyard and for my Normal Summon of my turn, I'll Normal Summon my third "Blue-Eyed Silver Zombie".

 

The opposing player was confused, "What the hell can those 3 weaklings do against my almighty Caius the Shadow Monarch?" he asked and he started to laugh. "This," Erik said, "I'll activate "Delta Attacker!"

 

The opposing player was shocked, as he figured that he was going to lose. "Now, by the look of your face, you already know what it means, so I don't have to waste my time on explaining it's effect. Now, I'll have 3 of my Blue-Eyed Silver Zombies attack you directly!" The 3 creatures flew over Caius, and struck the opponent. His Life Points were reduced to 0 and the holograms disappeared.

 

Erik walked over to the opponent who was on his knees and crying. "Please, don't take my cards, I beg of you!" "Too bad" was the only answer that he heard before Erik kicked his face in with the sole of his shoe. He picked up his Deck, and took a few cards out from it, "Caius the Shadow Monarch" and "Treeborn Frog".

[~Duo~]

As Zhalia jumped off the life boat, she took off her cloak so she wouldn't arouse suspicion. Inside, was a beautiful green dress that had the same design of Aki Izayoi's dress. She stuffed her cloak on a handbag that was hooked onto her belt. She smirked confidently. Time to find some prey... She began to wander aimlessly in hopes of finding a duelist or a person who knows of the Orichalcose...

[Zetsu-plant]

Desperado jumped in a life boat and was sailed to the land. "I guess i get to test some monsters out." Desperado said confidentually. He then walked with his duel disk high. "I am bored." he shouted as there was no duelists to challenge him. He noticed nothing just trees, a beautiful sky, and a beating hot sun. "I want to crush them with my Death Eye or maybe even Death Dragon." he walked aimlessly for a while.

[Žäīἢ]

Zain drew. "I summon masked dragon in attack mode. Now, masked dragon, attack his face down!" he said. The stranger's facedown spherous lady flipped face up and both montsters were destroyed. "Now, goblin attack force, attack him directly," he said, "and chaining off the damage, I activate ultimate offering and pay 5OO life points to summon glacier dragon by tributing elite goblin attack force.now, glacier dragon, attack him directly!" When the strangers life points reached zero, he let out a scream.

Zain walked over to his opponents lifeless body and kicked it. "Well, I guess he lost his soul," he said as he reached down and took his opponents deck, "You won't be needing this anymore." Zain walked out of the alley and looked around. "Well, I guess thats enough dueling for one day," he said putting the strangers deck in his back pocket. He walked to his apartment and locked the new deck in his safe. "Well, I'll analyize that deck later," he said yawning, "but for now, I'll sleep."
