Remember, Scyther is faster, and has some strong base ATK himself. He can learn some moves that will kill Kabutops as well. ;D

But will it kill him in one hit? I don't think Syther has any Grass moves, and he does have low defense. Kabutops has decent defense, which can most likely hold off Syther's first attack, and Kabutops would 1 hit kill him with a rock move.

But if the guy that was training Salamence was smart, he would tell Salamence to use Outrage.

I don't want to make tl;dr posts, so I'll sum the battles up in a few sentences.

 

Garchomp is faster than Salamence, 'Mence almost never uses Scarf, and Garchomp can KO a 252 HP/252 DEF Salamence (which is never used) with STAB Outrage. Garchomp wins.

 

EDIT: I forgot to factor in Intimidate. So if Garchomp has Choice Band (since 'Mence never uses Scarf), 'Chomp wins. If Garchomp has LO or something, I'm not sure. Unless Garchomp has Haban Berry, because even at -1 'Chomp can manage a 2HKO, if not a OHKO.

 

I don't know Scyther's main moveset, and I cba to Smogon it, but most likely Kabutops doesn't afraid of anything Scyther can throw at it. Kabutops has STAB doubly-super-effective Stone Edge to dispose of Scyther. Hell, STAB Aqua Jet can probably 2HKO. Kabutops wins, unless for some reason unboosted Scyther can OHKO a Kabutops with some random move I missed.

 

Rhydon isn't even fully evolved. Tyranitar wins. :/

Garchomp = faster than Salamence plus STAB Outrage and Drace Meteor, yeah obvious ain't it?

 

Scyther is extremely fragile to ANY Super Effective not to say a x4 STAB Rock move. And the fact that Tops has STAB Aqua Jet ain't helping.

 

Tyranitar wins, Rhydon is a evolution away from even ATTEMPTING to take on a T-tar.
