Legend Blood [PG-13][Started/Accepting]-IC

[Navras]

Fear swatted the emerald sword aimed for his stomach with his free hand, managing to his the blunt part of the sword, spun around, and kicked teh vampir ein the chest. At the same time, Fear swiped the sword across the vampire's neck, slitting it, then stabbed the vampire through the throat.

"You fought well vampire," Fear whispered as the blood sprayed out over his mask and body. "But you were fighting fear, and no vampire can defeat me... or at least so that I've seen so far."

Fear drew his sword from out of the vampire's throat and turned towards his spear. He walked over to it and picked it up out of the ground. Then he walked past the vampire with the emerald swords and walked to the unconcious vampire.

To die in combat fair and square....fine by me....but how can a human do that?.....I will ask the Gods......in the afterlife.........

And Vanir collapsed, killed off for real. Meanwhile, Taqr had only just woken up. He looked up and saw the human. He then saw the leader, dead. He immediately got up and fearing for his life, began running away, as there was no possible way to get to the horse. He was a vampire, so he should be faster than the average human. But he knew that this wasn't an average human if one could kill Vanir. The thought of that only made him run faster.

[Navras]

Fear tilted his head to the side, still walking towards the now running vampire. He gave out a shrill whistle and pointed into the brush. one of his archers came out and stood at his side.

"Exactly how good of a shot do you have on that vampire?" Fear asked him.

"I can take him out in a secon or two, why?"

"How good of a shot do you think I have?"

"Well... it'd take longer, but if you aimed it just right..."

Fear held his spear up, pulled it back, took a few steps forward, and launched his spear at the retreating vampire, the tip of which penatrated it's heart and through it's ribs out the front.

"Got him," Fear said, turning and walking back towards the leading vampire. "Go get my spear for me please."

"Yessir!"

Fear looked down at the two emerald swords that the vampire leader had been using before.

"These are good weapons... I wonder how old this guy must have been to have these..." fear picke dup each of the swords and examined them.

"Bartello!" Fear shouted. His soilder named Bartello came out of the brush and waited for his orders... or in this case, gifts. Fear handed the swords over to Bartello and said, "These belonged to a very old vampire. They're yours now. Use them well."

Bartello took them without hesitation and returned to his spot in the brush. Teh archer came back to Fear's side, holding the spear.

"Here you are sir."

Fear took the spear and turned to his archer.

"Get the men into line. Where these three came from there are more. Let's go hunting."

"Yessir!"

Taqr wasn't running blindly. He was running in the direction where they were supposed to regroup. When he was pierced by the spear, he knew all was lost. All he could do was scream, something that was trapped in his body until the spear was removed from it minutes later. He was half-dead, maybe even seventy-five percent dead, maybe more, but he screamed as hard as possible before he joined his comrades. And his scream was loud and long. Enough for the others to hear.

 

Rae was the only one to hear it though. She wasn't actually a tomboy, more of a girly girl that can pack a punch type. Among the twenty-one who set out, half of them were people who had only just joined. And Rae was the only female in the entire squad. And when she heard the scream, she began running to the others and then told them. Most of them didn't believe her, but decided it was worth a check.

[Navras]

"Sir!" One of Fear's soilders came running up to him from deep in the brush. "A small troop of vampires are headed this way!"

"Are they now?" Fear asked. "Well that was easier than I thought." Fear turned and walked over to the side of the path, saying as he went, "Soilders on your feet!" They all obeyed without question. "Archer? I need an Archer, where's an archer?"

"Here sir!" said a young man, running up to Fear's side and standing still.

"Trade me weapons."

"Sir?"

"My spear for your bow and three arrows. Come on."

The archer was confused but he obeyed without question, handing over his bow and arrow and holding on to Fear's spear.

"Now, go and drag that vampire I threw my spear at over here with the other two will you?"

"Yessir!"

Fear walked over to the two vampires he had killed. He rolled them both over on to their backs and looked down at their blank faces. He sniffled, drew and arrow back, and shot each of them in the foreheard.

"Sir, I've brought the last vampire sir."

"Good, put him over ther enext to his firends."

The archer obeyed. Fear walke over to the last vampire he had killed and placed an arrow into his brain too.

"Now then, give me back my spear and go back to your spot, and tell the men to be ready for an attack."

"Yessir!" While the archer ran off to tell the others, Fea lined up the three dead vampires in a perfect row and sat down in front of them, his spear in his hand and pointed to the sky, waiting for the rest of hte fleet of vampires.

Rayge sighed quietly as he took the hand Michico had offered him and came to stand once more with her help. He looked around the area and, as if feeling anxious, lifted his War Hammer from his back, bringing it up to rest the haft near the head on his right shoulder. He calmly looked down the path, before making his way in the direction which Michico had indicated was the way to her home.

 

"If you don't mind my asking, why -are- there bodies in your home?"

It's sort of useless to try and give a background to thirteen minor characters, so yeah. Seven of the regrouped were new and had just joined, including Rae, they were all around eighteen years old. Four of the rest were kinda experienced, like the first vampire who fell in combat with Fear, around thirty years old. And the last three were experienced, around forty years old. Vanir was the oldest and the strongest, but he had fallen.

 

All but one were male. Rae was the only female, and she was also the youngest, her birthday was only a few days ago. But right now, only around ten were in sight, with Rae not in it. That was because the last four, including Rae, were archers and were backing them up by taking different positions not in the open. The current oldest of the group was Loki. He was about fifty years old and had also participated in the Lord's first rebellion. However, despite that, he used to be like Taqr back then, and yeah, he ran away. So he never got a medal, and that frustrated him.

 

However, he had changed. In the way that he switched from swordsmanship to archery. He changed. When he participated in the Lord's first attack, he was a warrior, swinging swords around. Now he was an archer, because they don't involve direct combat. The vampire troops, spears and swords and shields at the ready, then approached to where Rae had heard the scream, while the four archers were hiding nearby, bows at the ready.

[Navras]

Fear looked up from where he had been siting when he saw the rest of the vmpire troop headed his way.

"Finally," Fear whispered to himself. When he believed them to be in ear shot, he called out, "Welcome, brother vampires, to your demise! Look here, under and behind me, These were your best men I presume? All dead, and not even a serious scratch on me."

Fear stood up in front of the vampire troop still headed his way and shouted out, "However, as much as I would like to kill all of you, my troops have a thirst for blood of their own. And I've hogged all of the killing of today so far so," Fear turned to either side of the path then shouted, "TROOPS! Behind me!"

And they obeyed. Fifty of the most brutal human soilders, all personally trained by Fear himself, lined up behind him.

"Well then, I'll leave you to it then," Fear shouted at the vampires, clapped his hands together, turned, grabbed his spear, and walked through his troops, saying to the first as he passed him, "Wipe them all out."

[Guest Merciful Idiot]

The vampire troops were surprised. Among the dead were Taqr, well his attitude was bound to get him killed. And then there was that other guy, not surprised. And then there was Vanir. Only one third of the vampire troops were still confident that they could win. The rest tried to run away, only to get killed by the monkey troops. The archers fired their arrows, saving a vds of the troops' lives for a few seconds. And then all the troops were overrun, leaving the four archers. Two of the archers were foolish enough to jump out into the open and then attempt to run away, only to get killed, leaving only two left, Rae and Loki, who were cleverly and completely hidden from view.

[Navras]

"Sir, we've eliminated all vampire troops."

"How many dead or injured?"

"One dead, three injured."

Fear looked up at his soilder reporting to him about the battle, his eyes narrowed.

"How many vampires did you kill?"

"Twelve sir, that's all there were."

Fear's eyes widened in disbelief.

"There's still two more! Find them!"

[Guest Merciful Idiot]

"Sir," Rae whispered to Loki very, very quietly. "You do know if they find us, we're through? They even killed Vanir! We don't stand a chance." Loki had a very worried and scared look on his face, despite being the second experienced of the group. He was going to run away like the other few unlucky people but after seeing the human's troops shoot at very long range, he knew it was in vain.

"We have no chance, none at all. We're going to die....." That was all Loki could say. Rae was on her own. "We might as well try to surrender." But Rae wasn't listening. She was readying her bow. Loki then noticed what she was doing. "What are you doing? That's your last arrow."

"I'm going to shoot the leader."

"It's useless. We're done for."

"Just be quiet, OK, old man?" Rae, despite her tone, was actually shaking very heavily, well, not really. She was trying her best not to shake, because that would mess up her aim. She quietly moved away from Loki, still hidden from view, so that he wouldn't be found so fast. She quickly sneaked to one of the dead archer's previous hiding spot quickly when one of the searching humans turned away. Her bow was ready. She quickly took a peek, seeing her target, the leader. With one last breathe, she then stood up, turned, and fired the arrow directly at Fear's heart, with Loki watching in disbelief.

[Navras]

Fear had had his back turned away from Rae. The second that she had fired though, he had begun to turn. And just in time for him to see the arrow come flying at him from the corner of his eye. His eye widened and suddenly, to him at least, the world became very slow. He turned completely and clapped his hands in front of his chest where he saw the arrow aimed at, and meraciously, he caught the arrow.

In his rush of adrinaline at coming this close to death, Fear didn't even notice that the tip of the arrow had pierce both his armor and his skin. He looked up and saw the female vampire archer, and glared at her menacingly. He lifted the arrow up with oe hand above his head, his eyes locked on her.

"You're mine now," he said to himself, squeezing the arrow until it broke in half and fell to the ground.

Rae's eyes widened in disbelief. "That's impossible." Was all she could say. And now she was paralyzed from the shock. She just stood there.

Meanwhile, Loki was muttering to himself. "I told you so, I told you so, I told you so....." He didn't know how Vanir died, but everyone had guessed how he would die, with honor. But Loki simply didn't have the guts. When....no, IF he was found, he would immediately throw away his bow, which had already run out of arrows, and then surrender.

[Navras]

Fear slammed his spear into the ground, outraged that he had almost been killed by a vampire in that way. He had lowered his guard, if only the tiniest bit, and it had almost cost him his life. He reach up behind his back and unsheathed his three skulled sword and began walking towards the female vampire.

"You almost killed me," Fear shouted out to her. "For that you get the honor of dying by my sword instead of my spear."

[Guest Merciful Idiot]

Rae simply stood there, still paralyzed. In fact, her eyes were blank, gray. Loki was still muttering to himself. He had ran out of arrows so he wouldn't be able to make a miracle shot like Rae and save her. There was nothing he could do.

It's over and I'm next.

He considered throwing a rock but rocks cannot kill a man unless thrown straight into the head hard, but that human was wearing a mask, which covered the forehead, and he couldn't be certain of the strength of that mask. There was absolutely nothing he could do.

[Navras]

Fear walked right up to Rae, his sword in his hand.

"I'm sure that by now you realize I'm no ordinary human. If nothing else, I could be stronger than the leader of the human resistance, but I've never seen him fight so I don't know."

Fear thrust his hand forward and grabbed Rae by the neck, squeezing hard enough to cut off her hair supply. He lifted his sword back and held it there for a moment.

"I only wish you didn't know John's location. I would tell you to go back and tell the leader of the vampire's that Fear knocks on his doorway, and he'll be dead long before I am."

Fear thrust his sword through Rae's stomach, driving hte blade all the way through until her body was touching the bottom of the three skulls. He let go of her neck and took a step back so that she was simply hanging from his sword. He glared and kicked her just above where his blade had penitrated, kicking her off of his sword.

Fear turned his head to the left and located the last of the two missing vampires, hiding amongst the grass, obviously afraid of him.

Who kills females so brutally?

Loki knew the human had located him. He then stood up, and threw his bow away.

He's no ordinary human.

He then raised his hands, despite knowing there was no point. He was terribly shaking, but that didn't affect his mind.

Last second plan, thank you.

"There, I surrender. Happy? You can take me prisoner, or, if you let me go, I will not tell to the Lord the location of your base. So how about it?"

Planned.

[Navras]

Fear turned and walked over to the last vampire, a glint of bloodlust in his eye.

"I take no prisoners. Nothing gets in or out of this pathway so long as I'm here. My mission was search and destroy all vampires. You, are the last of that mission."

Fear raised his sword and pointed the blade at the last vampire.

"Start running, I know you want to."

[Guest Merciful Idiot]

"I want to, but I'm experienced not to."

Curiosity goes to the extreme.

He then ran towards Fear, regardless of he was sliced or attacked or not.

"The face behind that mask, what is it I wonder?!"

And he used his supernatural strength to try to rip off the mask and see his killer's face with his own eyes.

[Navras]

Fear did nothing to stop the vampire from taking off his mask and showing him his face. But as soon as his mask mask off, Fear kicked the vampire in the stomach. When he was a foot or so away from him, Fear lunged forward, slicing through the air... and the vampire's throat.

"You saw your killers face, but at the price of his sword."

Fear swiped his sword through the air, swiping off most of the blood from his sword.

[Guest Merciful Idiot]

"I was curious." Loki managed to say, despite having a sword through his throat, coughing out blood onto the man's sword. He then departed from life, supposedly joining the other sixteen fallen warriors, supposedly.

 

John was still tapping his fingers, waiting for Fear's report. He knew how Fear does things, but he never liked the thought. But he had no valid reason to punish Fear in any way whatsoever. Fear only did his job. He simply opened his hands and watched as a fireball manifested above it, flaming hot and definitely not an illusion. He then closed his hands and it disappeared. He had a feeling that Fear had finished his next mission.

[Navras]

Fear put his sword back in it's sheath and walked over to his spear. He pulled it out of the ground and held it at his side. Giving a shrill whistle and shouting out, "All vampires eleminated! Form the ine!"

All his men obeyed. He walked out in front of the troop and shouted to all of them.

"Back to John's camp! Move out!"

Fear lifted up his mask an put it back on his face, then he followe his men back to camp.

[spoiler=ooc]To avoid my character being lost in the RP, I'm just going to skip ahead to morning the next day and head out somewhere.

 

 

Rayge sighed quietly as the sun rose. He had woken up over an hour ago in Michico's house and had walked outside while she was still asleep inside. He calmly took up his War Hammer where he had set it on the ground, lifting it up and laying the haft near the head on his right shoulder. He calmly set off, making his way through the forest and emerging into a wide plain along the border between the Human and Vampiric lands. He calmly made his way off, roughly along the border of the two territories. He was just wandering, waiting to see what he would encounter on his journey.

[Navras]

Fear and his troops arrived back in John's camp late in the after noon, and as before his troops had made a perimeter around the area, now fortynine men instead of fifty... he would have to replace that fitieth man eventualy. For now, Fear simply jumped off of his horse and walked over to John's tent. He entered reluctantly and took off his mask, so that John could see his face, as a sign of respect.

"Sir, We've eleminated all Vampire troops with ease and are here to rest up for a bit, and then fall out for a new mission."

John was tapping his fingers.

There's still two more days before we attack.

There was very little to do except prepare and recruit.

Salac and Alsa are currently the only non-humans who side with us, but they fight for a cause, as do us all.

He then noticed Fear.

"Right....did you get rid of the bodies or did you not?"
