Before Fear entered the gates, Johnathan awoke once more, still not getting over his regret of his father's death. it was almost dawn and he felt fully rested regardless. He got out of bed and wore a tunic and polyester pants, no shoes, and began to take a walk. Now, he was walking towards John's camp, almost there. That is, until he saw what looked to be a masked demon and a young vampire. I have never seen those two before. he thought as he continued forward. As he got close enough, he began to speak to them. "Excuse me, but who are you two and what is your purpose here?"

 

Meanwhile, Makuta began to realize that the cave turned into what looked like the largest academy hallway he had ever seen. He had been walking for about a good hour, the amount until time reached the crack of dawn. He eventually found a wooden door, one that was different from the hallway altogether. He felt like something bad might happen, so he decided it was a dead end and thought of moving back, until, he sensed something very powerful. The wind was weak, but he knew it was enough to flow through the other room. As so, Makuta made a hand symbol that represented wind and gently moved the wind through the bottom of the door and blowing into the other room, not knowing that Lord Elnar is in there.

Fear looked over at the newcomer who was appraoching him and glared from under his mask. This was the second time today that someone was asking him what he was doing there, and by the looks of it, this one was human.

"Please excuse me lord Alsa," Fear said, taking another bow and walking over to the new person.

"They call me the Immortal Fear, I'm a leutinant under a general of the human army, if you havn't heard of me that simply means I havn't done enough killing yet, who are you?" He asked as he lifted his spear and placed it on his shoulder.

[Guest Merciful Idiot]

"Me? I've been here for one year, twenty-seven days, five hours, fifty-eight eight minutes and 4 seconds at the time I said 'Me?' and you still don't know who I am?" Alsa himself was confused by Johnathan's words.

"I'm going to bet you never wake up this early. Granted, vampires are mostly nocturnal so you wouldn't see me usually during the day but seriously. Actually, I think your brain is broken, or at least still tired. That happens sometimes to humans when they just woke up."

"I am Johnathan Mason, son of the legendary Swordsman, Samuel Mason. He died in battle and now I wish to end this war with Lord Elnar's head in my hands." he bowed to Fear. "If you would be so kind as to remove your mask in terms of a loyal swordsman." Turning to Alsa, Johnathan replied, "You do look familiar. And I am a bit tired from a nightmare that I had." He then got a closer look. "Wait. Prince Alsa Von Mira? Last I heard you were in Lord Elnar's dungeon. How did you escape so easily?" he was shocked as to knowing about Alsa in the first place.

[Navras]

"No ordinary swordsman gets to see my face, no matter who's son they are."

Fear turned his back on Johnathan but looked over his shoulder and said, "Dont' take it personally, I don't like my face is all. Dosn't suit my image."

Fear walked back towards John's tent and sat down next to the pole he had been leaning against earlier.

"If either of you should need me, Johnathan, my lord."

Fear closed his eyes and awaited for John to emerge for the tent.

"I escaped by making the watcher cry at many sad stories I told him. It was easy."

He then thought for a bit.

"That, and I used my magic to make the suspense even sadder than it was supposed to be. And where have you been all this time? On missions?"

 

But before Johnathan could reply, John emerged from his tent.

[Navras]

Fear looked up at John when he emerged from his tent and smiled some what cockily under his mask. He stood up, took a few steps back and bowed respectfully.

"Sir, Lieutenatn Fear, reporting in for duty. The last mission I was sent on was a success, I'm here for a new one.

[Asriel Dreemurr]

Rayge was already standing and as such did not need to be helped up. He let out another long sigh at the prospect of sleeping near bodies. However, he was also quite intrigued by what Michico had said.

 

"It won't be the first time that I've slept near corpses. I suppose we might as well head there then, Michico, lead on."

 

He calmly tossed his War Hammer into the air, catching it by the haft, and placing it firmly on his back. Next, he fastened a single strap which held the weapon in place. For now, he simply waited for his new acquaintance to lead the way.

John faced Fear. He knew that if there were corrupt vampires, there were also corrupt humans. But he had to endure it, every step was necessary for justice.

"Not really the one I was going to send but you'll work too." John said.

"Scouts have reported from my magic crystal ball that a scouts group of vampires have found us. They are currently heading back to their own city to report, as unlike us, they don't have magic. If they reach their own city, then we'd have to move base. Intercept and stop them, that's the mission."

[Navras]

Fear put his hand to his chest in salute and said, "With all due hast. However, it will have been some time since this group has been seen. Perhaps you have some other way for me and my men to intercept them faster? I only ask for your sake sir, because should we fail, however unlikly, well, it wouldn't be a good thing would it?"

Fear reached up, took off his mask, threw his hair back from in front of his face and said, "I require only a faster means of transportation than horses, if one is available that is."

[Michico]

"You know what,i can dump the bodies outside,since we wont need then."She said."Ok then,follow me.Also,look out,because there are some big bugs in the forest."She said,holding her gun,while walking back to her home.She suddenly looked right,and pulled the trigger."Damn crocodiles,only here to kill people who didn't kill anybody.And this is why you should stay inside...."She said,while suddenly she did see a group of 10 crocodiles running into their direction.She quickly grabbed her gun,and she shot them all down."Lets hurry,before they get reinforcements!"She said,walking a bit quicker.

[Asriel Dreemurr]

Rayge sighed quietly after she had shot down the crocodiles. He shook his head slightly, but then an idea came to mind. He ducked down, before rushing forward. Perhaps it would look like he meant to tackle Michico to the ground. However, he brought his head down between her knees and, standing up, moved to carry her atop his broad shoulders.

 

"We'll move faster this way, trust me."

 

He began to run in the direction which Michico had been going. He held onto the lower portions of her legs with his hands. Despite his size and speed, his footsteps were truly very quiet. The way he ran involved taking long, but perhaps slower, strides. This resulted in both his speed, and very little up and down motion.

[Guest Merciful Idiot]

"Just take a short-cut through the mountains themselves, as the vampires have chosen to go all the way around." John said. But he was a bit hesitant.

"In the case where you can't catch up to them, come back here straight away. And then we'd have to move our base elsewhere."

He had to do this. One wrong turn and they'd literally be packing.

[Michico]

"What?Do you sight just because i shot down the crocodiles?Do you even know these things here are mutated and the best thing to do is to shoot them down,to end the pain?"She said to Rayge."ARGH WHAT ARE YOU DOING!"She said,while being lifted up."Are you made from stone or something?!"She said,while being on his back."Well....ok then i guess....."She said."We need to go left here!"She said,while looking at the road."And then we are there...."She said.

[Navras]

"With all do hast, lord John." Fear bowed to john then turned to Alsa.

"Lord Alsa." Bow.

Fear turned on the spot and headed back towards his horse.

"Legion of Fear!" he said in a commanding voice so that all his soilders would hear him, "We ride to the mountains, taking a short cut to eleminate a group of enemy scouts. Archers at my side, swordsmasters to my back and the rest behind them. we ride!"

Fear jumped up onto his horse with the help of his arms, turned his horse and rode it through camp, making sure not to hit anyone or anything. His soilders followed after him, flowing in after him like water.

[Asriel Dreemurr]

At the exact point where Michico told him to turn left, he did exactly that. However, he wasn't exactly graceful in it. He tripped over a log which had fallen onto the road and face planted with a loud thud. Luckily, he managed to force Michico to lean back as he was falling, thus causing her to land on top of him, rather than slam into the ground as he had.

 

"...Ow...that could have gone better..."

"We're here! Everyone to their positions!"

 

Maria and the unit she was in finally reached their camp. It was a small camp off the normal path, allowing quick access to key choke points and routes to a few larger vampire camps. Her unit were to reinforce the troops already in place. Apparently, there were rumors of a human army passing nearby.

 

Maria quickly went to work in setting up the Grand Acid Cannon. Apparently, her weapon wasn't as valued as other siege weapons, although Maria knew that it could be devastating if used right. She just followed orders involving the weapon, since the best it would do is melt a few weapons.

 

While the other troops went about their daily business, Maria leaned on her weapon and gazed into the distance, wondering if anyone would actually try to march through the area. Personally, she hoped that she would not have to fight, but the more she thought that, the more she thought she would need to be prepared if she had to fight. The other soldiers would be baffled at the fact that Maria Sancran, the Acid Cannon operator, was practicing fighting with her halberd.

[Michico]

"Damn!RAYNE!"She said,while sitting on his back.She quickly did stand up,and she did extend here hand to Rayne,to help him up."it is better if i walk,vampires are twice as strong as h umans."She said."Also,we are nearly there.Only a few corners left to our destination."She said.

Salac sighed as he was ordered about by Fear. As he finished exploring, he walked back to the middle of the encampment, to find the leader, John, talking to a vampire, Fear, and another swordsman. Salac approached them just as Fear made and announcement. Salac nodded, and thanked Fear for allowing him to accompany him and his soldiers. Then he turned to John. "You are the leader, no? For you see, I have come to offer my services. And do not think that I am just a meager swordsman that has been barely trained. I think you will need me. Though I'd prefere to explain why some where a little more....private." Salac said, nodding at the tent. "Oh, and my name is Salac Dumont."

[Guest Merciful Idiot]

"You are correct, Salac Dumont. I am the leader of the humans. I sense you mean no harm, I shall trust my sense." John said in a relaxed manner.

But he couldn't help feeling this person was a bit....out of the ordinary, even for Fear.

"So, Salac Dumont, my tent is as private as it could be." And he led Salac into his tent. There were three chairs, a small wooden desk, and another chair behind it. "Might not be much, but we have to equalize everything. Wouldn't want to run out of funds just trying to be comfortable, now can we? Please, take a seat." John himself took the chair behind the desk. "So what was it you wanted to tell to me?"

[Magnet Soldier]

"Well, I believe you need me." Salac said, walking inside the tent and eyeing the chair below him. "I'll show you what I need. Just promise me you wont call any guards." Salac didn't stop for an assurance, but instead continued. He stretched out his hand. "Watch." Salac stated, coldly, as his arm started to mutated. After ten seconds, his arm's skin tone had changed to a vampires cold purple, blueish colour and a giant claw had grown over it, ending in three spikes. He twisted his arm so that his palm faced up. A small globe of blue energy floated above his palm, power emanating from it. "As you can see I am proficient in magic, and I am also Vampiric. However, I am not fully a vampire, I am a Hybrid. I was created by Vampire Scientists and experimentalists and I was originally created as a merciless killing machine intending to slaughter all humans. Luckily, for both you and me, the Human part of me gained emotion, and has overridden the vampiric mechanism in my DNA. I escaped from the Vampires, and wish to help you fight them." Salac's arm transformed back to normal, and Salac seated himself. "Accept or Reject me, I do not care. But if you dare call guards or reveal my secret without my permission, I will slaughter your whole camp and massacre all humans, despite my reluctance to."

John paused for a while. This person, Salac he said he was called, an artificial Hybrid, could the Vampires go so far as to do this? "I happen to know a forbidden spell enough to suppress you at the cost of my own life but that isn't isn't the point." He said, keeping his calm. "I am a man of my honor, I will not tell anyone. But I must ask, before I make my final decision, are you stable? I can't have an uncontrollable monster on the loose killing my men from point-blank range."

[Magnet Soldier]

"I am at the moment. I dont know the extent of what the Vampires have done. I have removed a few bugs that I had within my body, and have cast a spell over myself so that I cannot be spied on, so that isn't a problem, and have only ever lost control once, when a village attacked me, so I believe I will be stable for a while." Salac stated, seeing an expression of relief gather over John's face. "And I am glad you are honourable. I would hate it if both Humans and Vampires were bloodthirsty, merciless, cruel and evil creatures." Salac sighed, and bowed to John. "I am at your service now, so...do you require anything doing?" Salac asked, hoping for a job to do quickly.

"Not at the moment, no." John said.

"I sent Fear on the as-of-yet last mission. Though there might be work to be done, I wouldn't know. I only give missions vital to our battle against that Elnar. The work is taken care of by a different person. To be exact, Alsa. He's only around twelve, but he's a great help. If you want to find him, he has well, cold pale skin that shines in the light and clothes whose finery are much more....expensive than ours. I'm trying to convince him to sell the thing but despite his hatred of his brother, he still likes to look cool. I mean, really?"
