hey i'm doing the same as you, dw i havn't copyied you or anything, but i also need help on me so if you guys have any extra ideas help with me aswell guys,

 

anyways here is a charcater you could add if you wanted

 

name: Mokaba kiaba (yes i mean seto's brother)

dorm: slifer( just make him appear every one in a while)

deck: dragon deck, (in his deck he has all of his brother's ledgendary cards, the problem is he just doesn't know how to use them right, blue eyes dragon x3, blue eyes shining dragon, bblue eyes ultimate dragon, blue eyes twin headed dragon, lord of dragons)

short bio: he is a new recruit to the slifer dorm, and has all the ledgendary cards from years ago which his brother passed down to him, he is a clumsy duelist, but has an amazing deck, and is one of those charcaters who beats the main charcater mid way in the season)

 

i mainly came up with this guy, because i thought in the original yu gi oh series, mokaba didn't really have much of a chance to do anything, so you could give him a try in this?

Well, Mokuba was like what, ten in the original series. GX is ten years after that, so he'd be 20. This takes place a couple years after GX. Mokuba would be too old to be at Duel Academy as a student.

Just thinking about something. Joey Wheeler's age is 16 so Yugi and the others' can't be far off. Now just for hypothetical purposes, we'll say Kuro is 15, the same age as Taizen. Considering GX is 10 years after the first series, technically second but who cares, and this is a couple of years after GX. That would make Yugi 28. Now since Kuro is 15 that would make Yugi 13 when he impregnated Tea. Yeah...

Yugi is 18 (at the end of his anime series) + 10 (the years until GX) + 2 (The Years Jaden is in GX) + 3 (A couple of years later in which tis show takes place) = 33 - 14 (Kuro's birthdate) = 19

Didn't know Yugi was 18 at end of show. Didn't count the two years of Jaden's GX either. And even with those counted the distance of GX to this as 2 rather than 3 and Kuro's age to be 15. That's make Yugi 17.

It's been a while since Xiva Vulzah was teaching inside the Duel Academy. Rumours that she has psychic powers that allow her to see into the future had spread out to students all over the campus. Some students compliment on how cool it would be to see into the future, while others honestly believe it's a load of trash. However, Xiva has been getting migraines lately, some more powerful than others. These migraines seem to tell Xiva that something terrible is about to happen, and it involves Baitou Suzuka. Even more worryingly, she seems to recall these visions as if they were in her memory, despite the fact that they actually haven't happened yet. Could Xiva's psychic powers be at their peak?

Oh, and could you add the Venom archtype to Ruben's Outback Blast deck? I remember reading about Vennominaga the Deity of Poisonous Snakes and its effect, and it seems to fit almost perfectly in the category of "looks completely broken but actually isn't broken". Aussie does have some of the world's most poisonous snakes, so the Venom archtype doesn't seem TOO out of place...

Hey deadmicheal, firstly loved your story it's amazing, just 1 quote though, it says in charcater information that Sakura has a crush on Taizen, and in the first 6 chapters it goes on about how she has a crush on kuro? it should be taizen!!!!!!! anyways here are some charcaters i made up, feel free to take them:

Deck: A deck revolving around Dark Armed Dragon

 

Short bio: His mum died when he was only 1 and had no proper experience with her, growing up his dad became a major acholic when his mum died and he often received alot of drunken abuse, both pyschical and verbal, he has a mark on his arm from when he was 7 and his father slit his arm with a knife, at school he had no friends, he sat in a corner at school everyday, his father thought if he bought him some really rare Duel monsters cards he would get some friends as that was the craze at school, but alot of his cards got chuccked in the fire place and burnt during one of his father's drunken rages..and the only card he didn't lose was his Dark Armed dragon, when he was 11 Dustin was fed up with the abuse he got from his father, so he challenged him to a duel, during the duel the darkness came out of Dustin and won the duel, when he won he sent his father to another dimension with the power of darkness, Dustin wanted to get away from it all so he joined Duel academy.

 

Personality: Quiet, Shy, currently doesn't have any friends but came to Duel academy to find some

 

(when Dustin gets angry the darkness comes out, ie. in one of your chapters it could be about taizen and kuro trying to free dustin from the darkness)

Short Bio: just before Taizen was born, and Max was only 3, his parents went out with some friends 1 night and didn't hire a baby sitter and left Max at home, when they got back Max had been kidnapped, Max was taken by a tiger and was brought up by a family of tiger's, when Max gained enough intelligence to realise he wasn't living with the right family, from the age of 11 he divised a plan to escape, and when he was 13 he broke free, he ran for miles until he eventually reached Duel Academy, that was the only place which provided a home for him, and so then he became a duelist

Appearance: Slim, toned, blonde hair, one eye blue, one eye brown

Short bio: Since the age of 6, Jay claims he see's ghosts, and from the age of 6 he's been haunted by them, his parents thought he was mad and so when he was 13 they sent him off to Duel Academy because they'd had enough, Jay's life long ambition is to over come his fear of ghosts, so came to Duel academy to become braver, (he often goes searching round duel academy at midnight because he can't sleep because he claims the ghosts are haunting him)

serus, use a real life TCG monster type please. I'd suggest Fiend or maybe Machine (since you put symbiote then Armor)
