[spoiler=Season 1] [spoiler=Slifer Red] Sakura Meiruna **************** A shy 15 year old Slifer Red student. She has a noticable crush on Kuro, but is too afraid that he'll reject her. She uses a Fighting Fairy deck. Rei de Nuovo **************** A 14 year old girl in the Slifer Red dorm. She is the twin sister of Kaoru, and is often viewed as gloomy but friendly. She has a crush on Kuro and runs a Lightsworn deck. Kaoru de Nuovo ***************** A young half-Italian, half-Japanese student. For reasons unknown, he was placed in Slifer Red though he has the skills and knowledge to be in Obelisk Blue. He is the son of a high ranking Kaiba Corp official, and is refered to as a high society oddball. He uses a Wicked Gods deck. Kurosaki "Kuro" Motou *********************** The son of the legendary Yugi Motou. Sent to Duel Academy by his father in hopes that he too will learn to duel with his heart, Kuro uses an Unstoppable Gadgets deck which he was given by his father. He becomes instant friends with Taizen. [spoiler=Ra Yellow] Taizen "Tai" Hiruka ******************** The main character. An easy going 15 year old residing in the Yellow dorm. He is usually relaxing or dueling and runs a Future Knight deck. Hui Don *********** A mysterious, but friendly, student in the Ra Yellow dorm. He appears to have a fascination with Pegasus to such a high degree that he made a Toon deck as a tribute to him. Friends with Kuro and Taizen, he helps people whenever necessary and runs a Dino Excavation deck. Kensuke Wheeler *************** He is the son of Joey Wheeler and was enrolled into the academy so he could learn to be the best duelist he could be. He is overly competive and has a crush on Aivea Kaiba. He runs a Red Eyes Curse deck Asia Fei ********** A stuck up girl in the Yellow Dorm. She has a severe attitude, but also a severe crush on Taizen. She runs a Raging Rapids deck. Crim Victince *************** A homeless kid in the Yellow Dorm. He is very dark and brooding and believes that happiness is only an illusion. He runs a Zombie deck. Zoey Overbeck **************** An English-born duelist from a powerful, rich family. She loves horror movies and has developed an immunity to fear. She has gained an infatuation with Shancus Black, and a friendship with Crim Victince. She uses a Zombie deck like Crim. [spoiler=Obelisk Blue] Lili Zavan *********** A beautiful, yet stupid, girl in the Blue dorm. She is a big fan and quick friend to Zeel Trusdale, and seems near obsessed at points. She runs a Cute but Deadly deck. Alex Gren ********** An American born 14 year old. He is a huge fan of Aster Phoenix and as such he entered a tournament where he won a replica of Aster's deck. Shancus "Shank" Black ************************ A 17 year old duelist coming from a poor southern family. He worked in his fathers mechanic shop to help earn money, and has struck up a friendship with Krax because of it. He runs a Twilight Deck. Clove Black************* Sister of Shancus and an Obelisk Blue student. Working at a friend's card shop, she became very interested in dueling. She has a crush on Crimm and uses three different decks, her main one being a Gravekeepers deck. Aivea Kaiba *********** Keen to show off what she learned from her father, Seto Kaiba, Aivea enrolled into the Duel Academy at the age of 13. Despite being in Obelisk Blue, whose students are known to study hard for their exams, Aivea would rather sit back and relax, or hang out with the guys all over the place. When she's actually duelling someone, on the other hand, she completely changes gears, being much more serious and willing to do everything to win. Aivea excels at finishing duels quickly and uses an Iron Chain deck. Artura "Tia" Hiruka ****************** A 13 year old girl from Domino City. Very confident and sure of herself, she believes herself to be the best at the academy. She is very flirtatious and wears revealing clothing to show off for anyone she likes. She uses a Neko Legacy deck. [spoiler=The Dark Demon Organization] Baitou Suzuka **************** A former Academy teacher fired for disorderly conduct. He is out for revenge and wishes to kill Chancellor Sheppard. He allowed the shadows to consume his soul in order to become stronger. He runs a Dark Demon's Deck. Cassius Roquefort ***************** The former International Dueling Champion. After losing his title to Nikano Jazuya, he went out on his own. Two years later, he was discovered by Baitou Suzuka, who brought him to the Dark Demons Organization. He uses a Blind Fury deck. Kaito Suzuragi ************** A competitive duelist who's parents died. He is Taizen's former best friend and is an albino with 3 scars on his cheek. He uses three different decks, including his man one, a Watts deck. Emnas Victince *************** The mother of Crim and a dueling prodigy. She is very head strong and usually goes off on her own. Baitou Suzuka corrupted her at a tournment. She uses a Gale Storm deck. Striker Williams *************** A former baseball star turned duelist. He loves being noticed and will not duel unless he has a large crowd watching him. He uses a Home Run Warrior deck. Fredrick "Freddy" Royal ********************** An elderly man who occasionally dressed as a superhero. Failing to be a real hero, he became a shut in and mastered the game of Duel Monsters. Most think of him as a joke due to his elderly body and weakness, but he is very intelligent and an expert duelist. He uses an Ally of Justice deck. Tovee Coma ***************** A professional duelist whom Taizen idolizes as Domino Cities best female duelist. Coming to Duel Academy as a scout for Baitou Suzuka, she is ordered to make sure anyone who gets in the way of the Organization is silenced. She has a tatoo on her back with the Dark Demons symbol in the center. She uses a Koa'ki Meiru deck. Kisuke Suzuka **************** The blind son of Baitou Suzuka, and a dueling prodigy. With skills surpassing Seto Kaiba's, he was drafted into the DDO by his father. He uses his duel spirit, Yatagarasu, to guide him. His spirit is the only one that can be seen as anyone, though they think it to be a regular bird. He uses a Spirit deck. Alto Yigo ************** A strange, heavily disciplined 27 year old. Tough, resourceful and unashamed of himself, Alto loves to duel for the sole purpose of sending his opponents to the Shadow Realm. He uses a Blackwing deck. Leeroy Jenkins ***************** A rich teenager with an unhealthy obsession with video games and MMORPG's. He tends to be reckless and will charge into a duel without thinking of the consequences. He uses a Warrior Toolbox deck Taio Paulsing *************** An aristocratic man with violent tendencies. He is rude and incosiderate and will often interrupt his opponent in mid sentence. He was recruited after being blackmailed by Baitou and has been in the organization ever since. He uses a Halloween Horrors deck. Sheng Fanchu ************* An orphan who never fit in. He was soon kidnapped by a lab in which he was forced into being it's guinea pig and was given small wings that cannot be used to fly. Now 20 years old, he works for Baito Suzuka in order to get revenge on the scientists. He uses a Dark Angels Deck. Virgil Adante ************* A five year old possesed by the evil spirit of his favorite puppet. Used to infiltrate the Academy, he is quiet and observant, usually blending in with other students. His eys are inverted and he uses a Demon Toys deck. Morimer DeAires ***************** The duel spirit of the D.D. Survivor brought to life during a duel between good and evil. A noble man, he is very courteous and often disagrees with the Organizations ideals. He runs a Wind and Darkness deck. Zedan Vulzah ***************** The elder brother of Xiva, and another psychic. Working for the DDO as a spy, he plans to overthrow Baitou Suzuka when the time is right. He can read minds and uses different decks due to his vast amount of cards, which he carries in multiple briefcases. His main deck is a Psycho Removal deck. [spoiler=Season 2] [spoiler=Slifer Red] Dustin Sato************* A 12 year old Slifer student who grew up in an abusive home. He is a loner and has few to no friends. One day his father drunkenly threw all but one card of his into a fire. Fed up, he challenged his father to a duel. He was overcome with immense darkness and won, sending his father to the Shadow Realm. He then joined Duel Academy with a deck based around Dark Armed Dragon. Nathe Darkholme ******************* A young student who thinks of himself as superior to all. He is dark and brooding, with an unhealthy obsession with death and diseases. He hates Taizen and runs a Chaos Sorcerer deck. Zecklen Meze *************** A 16 year old Slifer Red student. He was an orphan who was offered a chance to enroll at Duel Academy when it was found out that he had an unnatural dueling ability. He is quiet, and is looked upon as a lone wolf. He uses a Pyro deck. Dante Ikazi ************* A calm Slifer red student. He is a great problem solver is and very intelligent. He uses three decks. A Dragon deck given to him by his father, his first deck based on Dark monsters, and a deck modeled after his idol, Joey Wheeler. [spoiler=Ra Yellow] Mikrovove Lamoto***************** A shy 15 year old duelist in the Ra Yellow dorm. He uses a medieval deck with a few misfit cards including machines. Leo Kitawa*********** A 16 year old Ra student. A tough guy with a heavy build, he aims to avenge his mothers death by becoming a top duelist. He uses a Gladiator Beast deck. Michael Davidson****************** A budding writer trying to make it big. He joins Duel Academy in order to get ideas for a new book while also honing his dueling skills. He uses a Wisdom deck. Krax DeLoha *************** A second year Yellow student. A novice mechanic and machine card fan, Krax strikes a quick friendship with Kurosaki. He uses a VWXYZ Deck. [spoiler=Obelisk Blue] Shigenaga Shigeki ******************* A 17 year old Obelisk Blue student. He's a tough guy who loves to brag about his accomplishments. He secretly supports the bad guys and wants to join them. He uses a Fury from the Deep deck. Assoka Patrona ************** A 12 year old Obelisk Blue Student. Both of her parents, who were high-ranking pro duelists, died recently in a horrific car accident. In order to avenge their death, she decides to enroll in Duel Academy to become a pro herself. She uses a Flamevell deck. Dentai "Denny" Kaiba ********************** The younger cousin of Aivea Kaiba, and son of Mokuba. He lives in the shadow of Aivea and doesn't fit in much. He uses a Machina Force deck. Yugo Takeshi ************** An Obelisk Blue student. He is highly intelligent and calm, with a knack for drawing whatever card he needs. He keeps to himself, and is usually relaxing and having fun. He uses an E-Hero deck. Lily Peterson ************** A pretty Obelisk Blue student. She has a crush on Lei and is good friends with Hui Don. However, she doesn't trust Zeel Truesdale. She uses a Dragon deck. Jay Green*********** A 15 year old Obelisk student who claims to be able to see ghosts. Sent to Duel Academy as punishment by his parents, he used the experience to try and get over his fear of ghosts. He uses a ghost based deck. Jacob Gale********** A 16 year old poor kid in the Blue dorm. Due to the fact he traded his cards for food he could eat, due to having allergies to the school food, his deck is highly unbalanced. His deck revolves around the Solar Dragon card that he isn't able to use. Max Hiruka************ Taizen's long lost older brother. Max was raised by Tigers after being kidnapped. When he was old enough to realize he wasn't where he belonged, he ran off to Academy Island, where he lived and learned how to be human. His deck is unknown since he rarely duels. [spoiler=Season 3] [spoiler=Slifer Red] Megan Zemaki **************** A 15 year old girl in the Red dorm. She's a hard worker and a great duelist, excelling at duels and written exams. She has an irrational hatred towards most of the Yellow Dorm students, and refuses to move up as a result. She uses a Batteryman deck. Natsu Lagoon ************* He is REALLY shy and is really awkward with people. He always has his hair covering his eyes. He usually tries to protect those who try to be nice with him [spoiler=Ra Yellow] Terrance Ruben ***************** An 18 year old Australian former student. He was injustly fired after Crowler assumed he was using illegal cards in his deck. Now he vows to get back in by any means. He is taller than all the other students and walks around with a Ra Yellow jacket. He runs an Outback Blast deck. Rick Tunis ************* A rich, charismatic 17 year old. He is popular in the academy and is usually hanging out with his girlfriend, Jenny Parker, as well as Lucy Peterson and Hui Don. He uses a Gilford Warrior Deck. Jenny Parker ************* A street wise 17 year old girl. She is confident and level headed, while also being highly intelligent and beautiful. She is highly literate and is seen with her boyfriend Rick Tunis. She uses an Injection Fairy Lily Deck. Leroy Tracer ************* A 16 year old Ra Yellow student. Incredibly talented, he cannot excel due to his deck relying too heavily on luck. He has a foul mouth and hates Obelisk students. Though his deck is based on luck, he never quits or belives he'll lose. He uses a Wasteland Gamble deck. [spoiler=Obelisk Blue] Arti Futso ************ A young dueling prodigy in the Blue dorm. He uses a Cystal Beast deck, much like his idol Jesse. Dorothy Dane ****************** The duel spirit of the D.D. Warrior Lady brought to life in a duel between Shancus Black and Artura Hiruka. Upon her arrival into the real world, she is put into a Blue uniform to hide her identity from the others. She uses a Light and Fire deck. Lei Sailong ************* A Chinese-born dueling prodigy in Obelisk Blue. As the son of an Industrial Illusions card designer, Lei's deck is filled with one of a kind cards made specifically for him. He is Taizen's rival and loves Sakura. He runs a Dark Warlord deck. Kazu Hamaki *************** A 16 year old Obelisk Blue student. He is heavily laid back and has a strong sense of justice. His skin is pale, but his shoulder-length hair is jet black. He excels at dueling dispite having a dangerously low test score. He uses a Phantom Beast deck. [spoiler=Staff] Professor Nikano Jazuya ************************ Dr. Banner's replacement as the head of the Slifer Red Dorm and teacher of Duel History. He is highly intelligent and skilled, but is often paranoid and timid. He runs a Octane Beast deck. Van Thriller************* A young teacher at Duel Academy. As a former broadway actor, he joined the academy as an acting coach and teacher in order to promote the art of acting. His deck is based on Spellcasters. Zeel Trusdale *************** The father of Zane and Syrus Trusdale. A good personal friend of Chancellor Sheppard, he was personally asked to fill the spot of Duel Tactics teacher and co-head of the Male Obelisk Blue Dorm. He is very calm and will often make fun of Dr. Chrowler. Like Zane, he runs a Cyber Dragon deck. Xiva Vulzah*********** A teacher at Duel Academy. She has strong psychic powers and often gets migraines when having a vision. She uses a Psychic monster deck. Baron Armanos *************** An old professor who refuses to retire. He teaches students to consider effects for cards just as important as all other aspects. He is a suave dresser, wearing a tuxedo and carrying a cane in his right hand. He uses a Yubel/Relinquished hybrid deck. Dr. Craud Crowler ******************** Crowler's father and the recently appointed District Coordinator of Duel Academy. He constantly gives his son and the school a hard time, wanting both to be the very best, but doesn't believe his son's deck is good enough. Yugi Muto sent him to the Duelist Academy hoping that his Son would learn to cherish his Cards and to believe in them, knowing that they will always save him when trouble Strikes. Yugi gave his Deck to his Son when he and the Pharaoh Separated and the Pharaoh left to his Home. Yugi gave his Son the Deck that he faced the Pharaoh with when their final Duel Commenced.
