Piont of contest: Basically to see if YCM can make the old cards useable by today standards.

 

There is no entrance fee

Basically take an old Vanilla card and give an effect that is realistic.

You can use the old art or use new art your choice.

 

Also the vanilla remake can only be made up to Dark Crisis pack and no later(unless i say otherwise aka ask n state which vanilla past dark crisis)

[spoiler=lore]Once per turn, you can change this card from Attack Position to Defense Position. While this card is in Defense Position and all other monsters you control are in face-down Defense Position your opponent can only select this card as an attack target.

 

 

[spoiler=lore]When this card is Summoned place 1 Spell counter on this card.(max. 5). Every time a Spell card is activate place 1 Spell Counter on this card. Once per turn, you can remove 3 Spell Counters from this card to destroy all Spell and Trap cards on the field. If this card is destroyed while having 5 Spell Counters on it Special Summon either 1 "Dark Magician Girl", "Skilled Dark Magician", or "Endymion, the Master Magician" from your hand or Deck.

It would be easier (and better OCG) to say, "When this card attacks an Insect-Type monster, destroy it without applying Damage Calculation and deduct 500 life points from your opponent's life points."
