If Ele didn't get the crit' date=' I would've lost. :/

[/quote']

Yay for last minute wins!

Too much pogemanz advance talk.

No, Alakazam ftw.

Alakazam has the same Base SpA as Darkrai, and only 5 Base Speed lower than Darkrai. And he's not Uber, so that's amazing, right?

...no. Because of Scizor and Tyranitar, the poor fellow moved down from OU to UU. D':

Alakazam is kinda like Furret yo.

If you don't KO your opponent' date=' you're going to die.

[/quote']

And rarely will you KO. Furret cannot KO anything at full health unless it has the defenses of a Luvdisc. All it can do is cripple people with Trick and end a sweep via Sucker Punch.

But Luvdisc is a good Pokemon yo. It has stellar defenses and solid attack stats. lrn2pogeymanz

First of all, Furret has a Base 90 Speed. It is outsped by 32 Pokemon in the NU metagame. Granted in NU that isn't a major portion, but it isn't super-fast like Jolteon or something. Base 90 is outspeed by a lot of stuff, and that 32 is added to when you count UU, which is the metagame Furret will be played it.

It has 85/64/55 defenses, the only passable one is HP, and even that isn't much to scream about. It can't take hits at all, and being a Normal-type isn't the best defensive type at all. Oh wow, you get a cool immunity to Shadow Punch. That's wonderful, but everything else hits you for neutral or super-effective damage. And Furret cannot take a neutral STAB hit and expect to live with more than 50%.

A Furret with 252 ATK EVs, Jolly nature and a Choice Band.

Standard Solrock (70/85 Physical defenses).

Sucker Punch does 45.9% - 54.1%.

And Solrock isn't even the best Physical wall in NU. And there is a 3HKO chance from SUCKER PUNCH.

NU isn't a very developed metagame, and I'm not saying Furret is a bad Pokemon. I'm saying that Furret cannot take hits and can rarely deal KOs in return. He can only Trick and use the gimmicky Sucker Punch. Does that make him bad? By NU standards, not in the slightest. Only Regigigas and Slaking are bad by NU standards. :/

IGNORING SPE FOR NAO

Specs Furret does 96.4% - 113.8% to Specially Bulky Mence, and will OHKO any other Set with Ice Beamz.

OHKO's Ninjask (which really isn't an accomplishment but oh well).

Will always OHKO Flygon.

2HKO's Skarmory with Flamethrower.

Bar Lead and Duel Screen Gross, it will 2HKO Gross. (even though it will most likely die beforehand)

2HKO's Heracross. (will die before ofc, stoopeed close combat)

And I cba to run any more Calcs. D:

But fr srs. Furret needs better defenses. he culd b liek ou or sumting

Specs? Really? Furret has a Base 45 SpA, meaning that will only equate to 207 with a Modest nature and 252 SpA EVs. After Specs, that only comes out to be 310, rounded down. That is less than a max SpA Base 100. Seriously, that is bullshit, dude. You'd never run a Specs set with Furret; you'd rather run a Band or Scarf set with Surf for Golem or some bullshit.

Obviously something with 310 SpA can KO something that is 4x weak to Ice Beam. And in Ninjask's case, has shit defenses. It can't even OHKO a Skarm or Metagross with Flamethrower, that's how pitiful it is.

And let's not ignore Speed for this post. It is outsped by Salamence, Ninjask, Flygon, and Scarf Heracross.

And because it's running Specs and not Scarf, it can't outspeed a damn thing in OU.

Eury, if it makes you feel any better.

| Rank | Name | Usage | Percent |

| 193 | Furret | 186 | 0.13 |

Those are the Shoddy June 2010 UU Statistics.

Guess who he is beat by in terms of rank.

Ledian @ 187

Roselia @ 178

Ditto @ 173

I'll not continue.

With the right support, Specs Furret can be okay.

A Ninjask can help it obtain at least a +2 Spe boost while Bronzong/Forretress/Skarmory/Swampert/*obligatory entry hazard Pokemon* can set up Entry Hazards.

TrickTailing (Tricking a Lagging Tail) also helps.

AND EVEN THOUGH IT'S HIGHLY RETARDED (MAYBE), IN UU/NU, MAWILE AND GOREBYSS CAN BE USED TO PASS DEF/SPA/SPD/SPE BOOSTS. They can Iron Defense/Calm Mind/Agility. I cba to look if there are any other Baton Passers in UU/NU, except maybe Leafeon. :/

Leafeon can be Wish Support or some sheet. Idk.

You never want to Baton Pass to any choiced Pokemon. Dude, are you crazy? Unless you have Trick in your moveset (which is worthless altogether in this scenario), you'd never Baton Pass a thing to a Choiced Pokemon. You are locked into one move and what happens when something immune or 4x resists it comes in? You'll switch out and lose your boosts.

Your logic is shit. Anything is good with a bunch of boosts. A +6 SpA, +6 Speed Luvdisc in the Rain can 2HKO every single Pokemon in the game, as well as outspeed every single Pokemon in the game (bar a Ninjask with +6 Speed). Furret is amazing with +6 Attack and +6 Speed, I'll agree with you there. But then again everything is good with 4x boosts in two stats. <_____<

Your logic is extremely flawed and outright bad. kthxbai
