The Mushroom Kingdom

I've seen a few of those Pokemon hax facts, but not all of them in one concise image. See, that is when applying science to a video game becomes funny, because it shows you how out-of-proportion the creators were thinking when writing Dex entries.

Not making sense is the same as making sense.

Not ___ is the same as ___.

IT DOES NOT MAKE SENSE. JUST STOP, NOW.

Why MK's security is so bad... Let's compare it to something equally useless.

It must be the spears.

Yeah. Gus from TTYD was pretty damn scary though. D:

s*** is so disconcerting. That song always scares me.

But that's not the best part!

I was replaying Pikmin 2 yesterday, and last night (I was staying up for a reason, decided to play games while I waited for the time to arrive), I got up to the Submerged Castle. Yeah yeah, I know, that place is already creepy.

But then I heard the song.

It's following me, Clair.

You've met with a terrible fate, haven't you? <3

AAAAAAAHHHHHH. ><;;

my childhood has been subjected to science. D;

NO MORE SYENZ. D':

I'm not sure why you find Gus or his palette change scary.

You know what's scary?

...

Ok, I couldn't find a picture, but when Lord Crump was riding on the X-Naut Katamari. You don't want to get stuck in that thing.

I wonder how this would've gone if Bowser didn't have a glaring lack of common sense in the RPGs.

@Chill - The Dark Crows freaked me out. Especially when I found them in the Pit of 100 Trials. xD

Smorg gave me nightmares, tbh. Lol.

And that pic reminds me of "300" for some reason. o:

I didn't say I was terrified of him, but he is just more intimidating than Gus.

Imagine a serious Mario game on the ps3 and this occurs.

And they were all fighting like this

I would have an eye orgasm

TEST YOUR MIGHT.

.... MARIO.

I dunno, I can't see that crossover. xD

Damn government, you've gone too far this time!

Wow, that's absolutely retarded. I can understand posting leaked content, but as one of the commenters said, YouTube gets rid of illegal, leaked content anyways. I believe it was TimmyTurnersDad on YouTube that got banned for posting the Sonic Colors OST before the game came out. If this law does go into affect, there are barely any boundaries. The seperation of the church and the state should be coupled with a seperation of fatass businesses and the state. <___<

I know. If the law was more specific, that'd be fine, but it's not and if it messes with LPers, I will be pissed.

Good thing Slim Kirby posted a video that he's switching to his backup account for a few months until this (hopefully) blows over, or I wouldn't have found out as quickly.

Mario games are NEVER going to be on a non-Nintendo console.

Why can't people get that.

I love how everything in Paper Mario 3DS looks more papery.

Look at that beautiful magma!

URGENT EDIT!!

Damn government, you've gone too far this time!

I'm buying a 3DS just for that, I swear.

And... wow.

Does this mean all of the LPers are pulling videos?

I don't remember, but there aren't any Heart Pieces or Gold Skulltulas in Ganon's Castle, right? I'm missing 2 pieces and 29 tokens for 100%.

If it messes with such channels such as TheRunAwayGuys and each of their seperate channels (Chuggaaconroy, ProtonJon, and NintendoCaprisun for those who somehow don't know), or the Yogscast, I'll be super-hyper-turbo-mega-pissed... with a side-order of fruit.

The thing I'm afraid of is that the older population doesn't really understand what LPing does for the economy. I think part of the reason I bought Okami was because of (well, other than Clair's convincing) chugga starting an LP. Now, multiply that by a million. LPing pumps money into the video gaming industry because it allows consumers to get a taste of the game. Honestly, if LPers aren't allowed to use copyrighted material with commentary, shouldn't news channels not be able to use private video without permission?

Not to mention that, since Ice and a ton of others want to start up their on LPing channels, they have to buy screen recorders and potentially new laptops and potentially external hard drives. It's not a major percentage increase, but LPing as a hobby pumps money into the computer industry... a lot. This is all being challenged because... actually, I don't even know what the logic behind this bill is. Something about copyrighted information, but who the hell cares? You know, someone made a comment on YouTube, and I thought it was childish at first:

"Because WMG blocked the audio on this video, I am going to torrent ten albums I was going to buy."

And while it seems like a really bad idea, imagine the backlash. I'm not advocating that we torrent video games to bring back LPing; the two aren't even related. What I'm saying is that - assuming the bill passes, and I hope it doesn't - we should cause some sort of backlash (potentially leading towards economic downturn) to show the government that the video gaming population actually gives a damn about what you restrict. If we attempt to kill the economy due to the passing of this bill, they might retract it. Just a thought.

in the event that said posters make money (specifically $2,500 or more) through their “performances” of copyrighted materials

I think that means, and tell me if my logic is off, that only people that are YouTube Partners can be targetted. Which still sucks since chugga and NCS are partners, but I guess that is some consolation. Actually, it isn't much. I'm very shocked that YouTube (who actually makes a profit from the Partners system) hasn't said anything about this bill.

Makes you wonder how many people in Congress have actually touched a video game, let alone watched an LP.

I know the bill's about much more than that, but it's something to think about.

Wasn't it a select few in Congress that motioned for this bill? I don't want to generalize, so I don't think it is really fair to say all of Congress is in the dark about this issue. Maybe I read the article incorrectly. :/
