And Shradow, is keeping your level low really worth it? xD

Totally; bragging rights and all. Although, being level 14 facing only the mandatory fights (I even fought that blooper statue with only Bowser so M&L wouldn't get experience), and I still have at least 3 bosses left that I remember. (Trash thing, Dark Fawful, Dark Star Core/Dark Bowser) I think it's impossible unless I have one bro killed so he doesn't get experience from the next bosses.

I love these kind of challenges. I once completed a Level 11 Class Change in FFI. Also, a Nuzlocke Challenge of Platinum. And while it's not as official as the former 2, in SSBB'S SSE I beat Tabuu on Intense as only Ike, without resorting to my other 5 characters (also beat Boss Battles on Intense with Ike and Ganondorf, seperately, not at the same time).

Heck, even during normal play of some games I have little challenges. I play as Solimar in SSBB, whenever I play as Snake I don't use his projectiles (only aerials, his neutral a combo, tilts, Cypher and C4 purely for recovery)(people spamming projectiles as Snake ruined me for using them myself), same for Toon Link. Also, whenever I play SSE, I always play on Intense and never use stickers, and capture all bosses for the lulz. In Tales of Symphonia, in order to get a really good title (titles raise stats on level up) for Genis I have to have him in every battle possible, and don't use gels in any battle (the healing items of the game, think no potions) all the way until about halfway through the game after an important boss fight.

Next, I think I'll try my first LoZ 3 heart run. I have OoT, WW, and TP to choose from. What do you recommend?

And unfortunately, since Fawful did a kamekaze explosion, I think he's done, sadly. The only thing I can think of is that exploding inside Bowser may have left some of his DNA lodged inside, and maybe he could come back like Cell does in DBZ.

Honestly, while increasing the challenge of a video game has no real purpose, it makes formerly-easy games extremely hard.

On my recent trip out-of-country, I replayed Partners and Time and tried to fight as few battles as possible. That way it relied on strategy and not mindlessly grinding. In Black and White, during my first and most likely only run of the game, I am attempting to keep my Pokemon capped at 47 or less before I go fight the Elite Four, N, and Dennis.

Even as I replay Sapphire and LeafGreen (Clair should know, she helped me with the teams), I am trying to keep a lot of the Pokemon I have to catch late-game, and make it so they are pretty low-leveled for late game. I just recently swapped out Staryu for Slowpoke on my second LeafGreen run, because Slowpoke comes at around the same time but is a lower level and sucks more.

The hardest part of any Pokemon game is going through the first three or four gyms, because after that point, it doesn't matter if you have super-effective attacks because you have item advantage. As long as you aren't 2HKOed and you are faster, you can beat anything with an infinite amount of Potions. I tried to make my LeafGreen runs a bit hard; in particular, during my Charmander run, I don't have anything that can help me beat Misty. I have a Jolteon in my team, sure, but I don't get that until Celadon. Not only do I have to put up with Misty, but I also have to put up with Gary's Squirtle a few times before I can get really any Pokemon other than my starter on my team. I might just catch a Pikachu and use it until I get my second Pokemon and then immediately release it, I'm not sure. I don't want to adjust my teams much.

@Zero - They have this one annoying loop. I do love Darkworlds, though. ^^

Oh yeah, Leyvaten/LAD Dragon loop. Never really used it yet

Still waiting for my WC11 to be delivered shipped released.

Considering restarting Black and White 2. Have to really pick a lane and stick with it if I do. Usually I'm evil without trying to be.

I mean come on, how is chucking fireballs at invading armies coming to slaughter your people evil? Seriously?

I like how some games are easy, until you want to 100% them. Kirby's Epic Yarn is a good example.

Kirby Squeak Squad, sadly the only Kirby game I own, was easy to beat and also easy to 100%. Those types of games are appealing when you first play through them, but I haven't touched the game since.

Pokemon is a great example of the easy-hard split. The storyline part of the game is always fairly easy, even without grinding. When you try doing Nuzlockes or getting into competitive or taking on the Battle Frontier, the game exponentially jumps in difficulty.

As stupid as this may sound for all of you N64 gods, I found the original Super Mario 64 tough to 100% yet easy to beat. A lot of the 100-coin Stars were annoying, and anything in Level 15 (Rainbow Road?) was the bane of my existence.

I'm going to be making a TCG club soon with a primary focus on Jurracs.......

What's a good name for the club though?

Jurracsic Park

And Dark Worlds are beastly.

Don't know why, I just enjoy using them. May be cause their names are all puns involving colors.

I never found SM64 to be hard, except for some reason I found the final Bowser fight really hard. Although, I was 9 at the time... It's a shame I don't own the game anymore.

Although I have 100% SM64DS, and I found that pretty easy. Even getting all the shiny bunnies.

Currently I'm working on 100% Crystal Shards. I have a feeling Zero Two is gonna freak me the f*** out. Why do Kirby games have such abominations for bosses?

K64 = Best Kirby Game.

02 = Best Kirby Boss.

He's a little creepy, but the face he makes at the beginning is HOLYSHITWTF worthy.

In my defense, I was younger when I first played Super Mario 64, but even to this day I find some of the Stars annoying to get on Virtual Console. Jolly Roger Bay's 100-coin Star? Rainbow Road's 100-coin Star? The cannon-airship Star in Rainbow Road? So annoying.

I will admit that Super Mario 64 DS had better controls, and I was able to 100% fairly quickly on my DS.

The first Zero (which game is he in?) shoots frickin blood out of his eye at you. Very creepy.

100 coin stars in general are a pain. The one I've hated the most was on Isle Delfino on Sunshine. Thank God Galaxy didn't have any.

Dark, you've got good Bowser fight music, you're just missing the Dark Bowser music from M&L: Bowser's Inside Story.

It's funny, I've been watching these two British guys play Minecraft over the weekend, and now I'm involuntarily speaking with a British accent. I can't seem to talk normally for very long even if I try.

Unwavering Emotions played to this situation. I would cry if I had a soul. I already cried.

However, as I said in TVGMS, I suggest we not post sad messages here and delegate those to the L/R thread. Obviously many of us active posters share many friends here in this club, and I'm sure Clair would be delighted if someone stepped up to the challenge of reformatting this club and making it better. We all loved the idea for this club, the members in this club, and now a remake is needed. I do not have the time nor the energy to make such a club, but I'm sure one of you would like to continue Clair's legacy.

Honestly, I am pretty sad that Clair is now blocked............we just may never be the same again.......

......but we will still keep this thread and the VGM Station alive! It is Clair's death wish so we must.

I nominate Chill or Shradow. Those two and you are pretty much the most active posters, but you declined, so down to them.

I'm glad to see someone thinks of me. I could do it if I had to, but it's not in my nature to be a leader. I'm more of a follower.

@Chill: You still care about the amount of posts? Shouldn't you have learned by now that post count doesn't matter?

Also, before anyone makes a remake, can we keep posting here since it's already stickied? =/
