And I have to give it to Super Paper Mario.

It was something different in the Paper Mario games, so that automatically got it, "meh" looks.

I admit, I wasn't so eager to play it, but then I did, and I loved it.

It easily had my top three chapters out of any Paper Mario game. Each area was fun to me. Even the obligatory "repetitive" area was fun.

Okay, I'm just going to put this out there, "unique" is a personal opinion to me. Some people think that a game where the engine from the last one is reused, but with new challenges and such is unique. Because of this, we get Super Mario World Hacks.

And then, we have the people who don't agree with such. We get games like Okami from them.

In the end, everyone's view on the subject is different. To me, TTYD was fun, but not as fun as Super Paper Mario.

I disagree with Dark as well.Chilled, have you heard this?http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UhTDsGLG0cwexcess expresssss~ <3

I love Chapter 6's music! TTYD's music was ever so mystifying

I don't really know why, but I absolutely hated TTYD's OST. Maybe I was in a bad mood when I listened to it, but I couldn't find a single song that was above decent. :/

I personally find it hard to believe that you do not like any single track from this game (You probably may think TTYD tried too hard?).

and about plots of the 3, I found the first Paper Mario to have the least greatest plot (Mario fights bowser to rescue the princess with minor changes, but it is acceptable. Though I would have loved to hear your partners [other than Goombario's tattle] speak more often than given in the game). TTYD had the most dark and mature plot out of the 3 (you normally wouldn't expect Occult and demonic monsters in a Mario game would you?). SPM is the Shakespeare of the series (well-written tragic love story).

What?

WHAT?

WHAT?!

Now I KNOW you just like TTYD a lot because you're a gigantic TTYD fanboy that doesn't like change.

Nobody would EVER say that TTYD had the darkest plot out of the three.

I wouldn't say NOBODY. In fact, most people believe that TTYD's plot is much darker due to the involvement of Occult matters being heavily involved.

Also, new Mushroom Kingdom Controversial Discussion Time!

Seriously. Proof that most people view TTYD as the darkest.

You probably may think TTYD tried too hard?

Maybe. I really love video game music with a lot of emotion, which is why I love almost all of the Okami OST, but I feel like TTYD did emotion all wrong. Some Paper Mario tracks were sad, some were upbeat, but none tried too hard to be embedded with emotion, while a lot of TTYD songs strived to be emotional or strong but did it incorrectly. I'm willing to take a look again at the OST whenever I decide to look at Super Paper Mario's music. Hopefully there are some good tracks in SPM. :D

Paper Mario has a 93% Metacritic score.

TTYD has a 87% Metacritic score.

Super Paper Mario has a 85% Metacritic score.

Now I am not saying Metacritic is god, but Metacritic averages all of the other aggregate scores from places like Nintendo Power and 1-Up, so it seems obvious that critics really loved Paper Mario and thought Super Paper Mario wasn't as good.

Since I doubt critics pay a huge deal of attention to storyline and music, TTYD should have had a higher score and Paper Mario should have had a lower score, just showing that TTYD is critically acclaimed the best in the series.

Also, while I didn't hate Super Paper Mario's gameplay, I would have preferred that a "Paper Mario" game be RPG-styled. I would still be pissed if Super Paper Mario never existed, but it could have been its own spin-off franchise. It didn't need to be mixed in with the Paper Mario franchise, because gamers knew Paper Mario as an RPG game, and an RPG game only. I feel like it was a terrible decision to put Super Paper Mario in the Paper Mario series instead of naming it something else.

I'll take your word for it.

AND WDF HES STILL 10?

So basically it's like he and pikachu never went to ANY other region, there just starting out?

I really dont understand this show like i used to.

His magic anti-aging cap does wonders.

Apparently something happens to Pikachu reverting it back to level 1.

They said it was pretty good so far, though.
