I know >.>

It's the spores in his head, it's like Marth and Ike's Counter.

Ice already said what Mega Man's moveset would be, though for Darkrai..

B-Dark Void

Down B-Hypnosis

Up B-Spacial Rend (in midair can be used as teleportation recovery?)

Side B-Roar of Time

It could work!

And Toad..

Down B-Pluck Vegetable

Side B-Headbutt

Up B-Eat Mushroom to grow big (mainly as a recovery to catch ledges?)

B-...Spores

I don't know, making a working/original moveset for Toad seems difficult :/

They really shouldn't replace Lucario though because they should have different movesets :/

And they never should have taken out Mewtwo, Lucario has a completely different feel to me then he did, PLUS even if they are similar, Fox had a 2nd clone whereas Mewtwo and Lucario were only half clones (different down Bs, side Bs, and their up Bs work differently)

Now that I think of it, only similarity they had were their body structures and their B move >__>

EDIT: LolFawful

Aside from the B, I think it could work actually.

[spoiler=All in this for an edited Mega Man movelist.]

[Main theme for his stage is

. Remastered with Brawl instruments, of course.]

Entrance - Teleports in.

^B = Tornado Shot (Makes him float a bit up. If you jump while using it you can jump decently high.)

VB = Super Arm (Mega Man punches the ground, making a SA block appear in front of him. The block can be destroyed and is treated like an item after it comes out.

<>B = Rolling Cutter (A la Link's Boomerang that it comes back. He can throw 2.)

B = Mega Buster (Can be charged).

Final Smash = Super Adapter. That or that super mode from MM8, I think?

A = Punch

A, A = Punch-Punch

A, A, A = Punch-Punch-Kick

Running Attack = Slide

Ledge = Flip's on the stage.

^A = An upper cut. (Kind of like a Shoryuken. Mega Man The Power Fighters reference.)

VA = Top Spin

<>A = Mega Arm

Aerials

A = Punch

^A = Shoryuken-esque attack again.

VA = Mega Man lifts his leg up and slams it down.

<>A = Slash Claw

Grabs

<> = Hold them and fires his Mega Buster at point-blank range.

V = Slams them down.

^ = Tosses them up and shoots them.

Taunts =

1. Mega Man smirks as he grabs his Mega Buster

2. A bunch of circles float towards Mega Man (when he steals somebody's power, and he gets those circles. Like that.)

3. Mega Man whistles a small tune (a la Proto Man).

Victory Poses/Crap =

1. Mega Man stands proudly as an announcer screams "Get Equipped With...VICTORY!"

2. Mega Man lifts his Mega Buster in the air (a fist pump) while saying "All right!"

3. Mega Man grabs his buster and aims it at the screen.

Colors =

1. Default. Duh.

2. Proto-Man color. He has the Shades, Scarf, everything.

Impossible.

L00dacris.

The only RMs that would ever get in would be Guts Man or Cut Man and there's like a 99.9% chance they won't.

Mega Man will have to be the representative of the whole series and have alternate colors/attacks as a callout.

And maybe 1-2 Assist Trophies of Proto Man/Bass/X/Zero.

Speaking of X, that should be another color.

AW GEEZ.

Dedede back in the original would have made me so happy. ><

I want to see these characters in the new Super Smash Bros. Uproar. (yes I'm calling it now)

~ Darkrai

~ Amaterasu

~ Crono

~ Mega Man

~ Toad

yeah yeah

inb4wishfulthinkingclair

I hate Dedede so much in Brawl.

But I hate Lucas and Ness. If I ever play with them, I am daring you to knock me off the main platform of any stage, because chances are I can't recover. I hate how PK Thunder doubles as their recovery, because I suck with it.

MEGAMAN IS A REGISTERED CHARACTER AND TRADEMARK OF CAPCOM, WHICH MAY NOT BE USED IN ANY LICENSED NINTENDO GAME DUE TO COPYRIGHT ISSUES.

Or something like that. ^^

I think his sidesteps should be teleporting past the other player, with the same minimal distance of a sidestep kept.

They also need to make customizable characters. Have different categories like Agility, Power, Recovery, Special Moves, et cetera, and allow the player 200 or 300 points to divvy up into these categories. Add some super bad-ass specials and viola! Random-ass shit!

It was revealed in an interview with Nintendo's president, Satoru Iwata, that Masahiro Sakurai had intended for Final Smashes to be included in the original Super Smash Bros., and claims that he has proof, in that there were recorded voices for when characters used their Final Smash.

That's what I read, at least.

And I've been meaning to ask, is that the Happy Mask Salesman in your avi?

Crazy how much stuff Sakurai wanted in the original SSB, he planned for Dedede, Pit, Meowth, Bowser, Mewtwo, Peach, and Final Smashes to be in it.

WHOA WHOA WHOA

HOW DARE THEY LIMIT THE CREATIVITY OF SAKURAI. D<

For pokemon to use for Pokemon Trainer they can have Oshi- wut (the otter...thing) and Teh pig.

Well, no, that wouldn't go over well.

I personally would love for them to have available for Pokemon Trainer, Scyther, Sandslash, and Blaziken, but that's just me.

Also, I don't like Dedede >.>

He is slow. Very. And I cannot use him.

And I don't believe in tiers at all. Especially after seeing Roy and Bowser were in the bottom tiers >_>

Roy was my 2nd best, and Bowser was my 4th best.

As for Brawl....I don't care if Marth is my favorite character, it's not like I have to use counters to win, I actually AVOID using counters, I do better without them.

There were time constraints. And with Dedede, Sakurai was afraid of over-representing his own series.

I'm not sure about anyone else, but Dedede and Meta Knight were meant to be in Melee, but those darn time constraints came in again.

WE MUST

STOP TIME. D:

They should put in Toon Zelda/Tetra, swapping between the two like Zelda/Sheik.

omgyes.

Shradow gets a job at HAL Labs now. Or Ninty.

Time constraints?

Glad Shadow isn't hearing any of this talk on time right now >.>

I understand how tiers work and that there may be some truth to it, but I do believe it's only applicable in extreme situations.

Players of the same skill fighting each other with Meta Knight and Bowser, Meta will most certainly win since he's at the top and Bowser's at the bottom.

But say the same players face off, but it's Mario instead of Bowser, then I think Mario could beat Meta Knight despite the tier difference since he's not as slow and can get through with skill.

;tldr-I only believe in tiers if the fighters are on opposite ends.

You guys don't get the point of tiers, do you?

Just because you are magically good with a character doesn't make that character good. I can go win a bunch of Pokemon battles with Luvdisc (don't ask how, I have no idea myself), but that doesn't make him/her/it a good Pokemon. If you are good with Marth, maybe you love counters, and if you are good with Kirby, you love a steady recovery and that epic HAMMAH move, and if you are good with Game and Watch... that's awesome.

Tiers are showing that if two equally-skilled players are playing on Final Destination with three lives and no items, the higher-ranked character is more likely to win on average considering his or her matchups against every other character in Brawl.

I made this same comparison.

The Jets beat the Patriots, but the Jets have a worse record.

Let's just say, for arguments sake, Dedede can eternally rape Meta Knight. And let's also say that Meta Knight has a good matchup against every other character, and Dedede has a bad matchup against every other character. Just in the matchup of Meta Knight-Dedede does the lower-ranked character win.

Are you going to tell me that Dedede is better than Meta Knight overall? No, not in the slightest. If it was any other matchup than Meta Knight-Dedede, MK would have fared better.

So that does not mean the Jets are better than the Patriots when our overall record was better. That just means they planned like hell for the playoff match, and even though we put our best FOOT forward, it didn't work. Also, Ice, peanut butter.

Being GOOD with a character does not make that character GOOD. If you are playing my cousin in Brawl, no matter what character you choose, and no matter what character he chooses, you are going to win.

He is four, and has no skill at Brawl whatsoever.

Likewise, if you are playing my friend in Brawl, no matter what character you choose, and no matter what character he chooses, he is almost always going to win. Except Ike. He hates Ike. And Ganon. But he loves CFalcon. idgi

Not believing in tiers is going against science, albeit it being crazy video game science. Going against science means you are a Baptist. And if you are a Baptist... I feel so sorry for you.

Also, continuing on with my rant, not only is there a time constraint, but there is also a memory constraint. Do realize that Brawl took years of programming to perfect, and it isn't even perfected. More characters means you have to beta test all of those moves against every possible character, you have to beta test all of those moves and matchups for glitches, et cetera. If Brawl had three or four less characters, I can ASSURE you the Jigglypuff glitch in Eldin would not exist, because they'd have more time for testing. Adding seventy characters in Brawl seems like it would be loads of fun, but the amount of programming that would take is enormous.

I think one of Marth's selling points is his counter. Me and my friend (the aforementioned awesome one) usually have Marth-MK matchups, and it really puts pressure on my as a player to understand his pattern of counters. Realize that MK is very lightweight, and although I have some DI help to not be KOed, a counter still hurts. I think I did the math, and more than half of his damage on me came from counters. And being smart about counters isn't that easy, either. My only plan of attack is to go at him with Mach Tornado and Drill Rush (if I use the latter it better not hit him), and hope that he counters, and use the lag time to Smash attack him.

And that's if I get lucky. I can't Smash attack him normally because, even though my lag time is almost nonexistant, his Counter still takes priority over a lot of attacks. And the frame of Counter is at least 1.5 seconds, meaning that you need to time your attack perfectly to avoid that range. In three-player or four-player, Counter is less useful, but for a one-on-one, that is really all I'd use Marth for.

Meta Knight's down special is the worst counter ever. I haven't used it once, unless by accident.

AND SO ENDS THE RANT.

@ Fusion:

The point of tiers is to determine what happens most of the time. Even when you have a game on Final Destination with no items, there is still a luck factor. The only pure-skill games I can think of are... well, un-timed chess and... checkers. Video games are almost never purely skill. When someone says that Meta Knight has a 55% matchup against Mario (it's probably higher, but whatever), they are saying that Meta Knight has a 5% advantage over Mario, on average.

Surely you'll get some battles where a MK user three-stocks a Mario user, and vice versa, but when you see 55%, you think that the battle will be somewhat close, maybe a one-life difference, or an 80% damage difference. That 55% means that when two averaged skilled players face off, bet on the MK one, since he is more likely to win.
