God damnit, I want to be part of the trial. Mr. Wright, this is entirely unfair. You and your courtroom are discriminating against... people with less than five letters in their username!

So, I was going through some of the video games Clair gave me to get music from (started from NES, got like two or three games from SNES (Chrono Trigger is amazing), N64 was kind of meh, GCN was really, really meh, Wii turned out awesome; Clair, you still owe me five more consoles, whenever you get time), and I have something to say.

First, I'd like you to know that I am very picky when it comes to video game music, almost as picky as when it comes to watching movies. Video game music takes a lot of effort to port to iTunes and put on my iPod, especially if it is from a game I do not yet have music from. As such, I only take the best video game music, which really shows as I only have 200 video game music pieces, while Clair has OVER 1000!, at least.

So I was on the Wii list (NSMBWii was pretty good, and when I did NSMBDS, I hated it, even though I own the game and thought originally that the music was good), and I got to Epic Yarn.

Oh my god. I don't care how much you hate the game, the music in Epic Yarn was masterful. I literally compare it to the OST of Okami or Galaxy 2, it is totally up to that level. I've heard Kirby music before, namely Dreamland, Squead Squad, and Kirby 64 (did that have a name?). But never have I seen anything like this produced from any Kirby game. It was simply beautiful.

And here is what I came up with.

Grass Land

Fountain Gardens

Flower Fields

Big-Bean Vine

Weird Woods

Lava Landing

Toy Tracks

Melody Town

Stellar Way

Outer Rings

Green Greens

Gourmet Race

Staff Credits

OH, I absolutely agree. It was some of the best music I have ever heard.

Also, vs.

[spoiler=Spoiler]

Mecha Yin-Yarn

Is actually made up of most of the final boss themes from Kirby, mixed together wonderfully.

I can't help it if you decide to log off! The trial can't be halted for that long, as if Clair is online, and I am online, we can continue. And no, we weren't. You just logged off at the wrong time.

@VGM: I haven't gotten to play Epic Yarn yet. D:

Okay, I do think I'm done with every game system Clair has offered me so far... which is cool, because I got at least fifteen new games from her. And she still has five consoles left. Oh god, I have my work cut out for me.

As of now... I have Pokemon Black and White and Okamiden left; both of those haven't had an official OST release, so I can wait...

Oh. Would two of you like to do me a huge favor?

I'm missing a ton of video game music from the Mario Kart and Megaman franchises. If you could collect the best tracks from these franchises and post them, that'd be wonderful. It'd save me a ton of work and a ton of time, and I'm very short on time. They could be from any Mario Kart/Megaman game, of course.

YES BUT NOW I HAVE TO SLEEP SINCE MUCH HOMEWORK THIS WEEKEND AND ANGRYFACENESS.

MORE MINECRAFT VIDEOS MUST BE UPLOADED, DANE. OR ELSE.

Give me some time, and I can. How many songs do you want from Mario Kart?

HOMEWORK SHOULD GO DIE IN A FIRE.

HA. THE REEEEAAALLY INTERESTING STUFF HAPPENS IN PART 25!

I didn't know you could get your items back after you died if you visit the spot you died (in Minecraft). SSoHPKC taught me that (did I spell his name right?).

There is not a "number" of songs. I don't know how you determine songs, but I go and look at each OST individually and pull songs from them, make a compiled list of all the songs from the franchise, find any duplicates (meaning, remixes of songs already in the list) and pick the better of the two, and then seperate them back into games so I can put them on iTunes. If you have another way of doing it, that's fine. Again, there is no limit, there is no minimum, as many songs as you think are good are allowed to be posted. I'm going to look at all of them and review them, of course, but it's easier to review, say, 50 songs in one compiled list on YCM than it is to go through 6 OSTs and find songs.

Your games include Super Mario Kart, Mario Kart 64, Mario Kart Super Circut, MKDS, MKWii, Double Dash... yeah.

For Megaman, I'm not really into the franchise much, so I kind of expected songs from the numerical Megamans; meaning Megaman II, III, IV, V, VI, IX, X. Yeah. But if you have other kick-ass Megaman music, I'm fine with that. I'm just so big into the franchise to know of every Megaman game out there.

Yeah, you can. Of course, if you die on the way back, you lose your stuff for good. And yes, you did.

Also, the Nether is f***ing good at making me nervous.

Okay, I've got some ideas for songs, I just have to get the songs. It may take me a while to get all of them though.

Dark, I can post the Mega Man music for you. The classic ones, anyways. xD

Also, I'm getting to the rest of the consoles. I wish I wasn't on my iPod.

Right, so tomorrow the console VGM will be PMed to you. Do you want the MM music in the same PM, as well?

Uh, if you can actually work that quick, okay.

I swear, I have like 280 songs in my iPod right now. I'll get you a total number now and a total number after the update. I'm willing to bet it will increase by, at the very least, 100 songs. <___<

SO MUCH WORK SO LITTLE TIME NOW I MUST SLEEP BEFORE I HIT MY HEAD ON A DIME WAITWUT.

Err... I never liked Sonic. Then again, I was under the impression the entire game was ring-collecting, so I'm a bit ignorant in that regard.

I played a portion of Sonic Colors in my DS (via the Wii DSDownload service), and it wasn't too bad. I still don't like Sonic, though.

And I stopped watching the trailer once they said he runs at the speed of sound. Because every time I use him in Brawl, most of my deaths are accidental suicides.

One of the major complaints about the worst sonic game was that he was not at the same speed as his other games. I am glad they made Sonic fast and controllable again. Also, lolsonicspeedcontrolfail.
