See, this is why religious discussion kills clubs. ><

I'll be off and on for the next couple days. School has been very busy. >>

I know, right. For some reason my school is very busy, and I have like four tests over the span of two days. Which annoys me, since the nearest break from school isn't until Thanksgiving, but alright. Damn teachers.

Organized VGMs into matches. 1st match is Reset (Thank You) from Okami versus the original Super Mario Bros theme.

Unfair matchup is really unfair. Reset wins, next match.

No offense, but you are really adding to the bullshit that is Polls section. Easily 75% of the threads are composed of YMB, YGT, and now whatever the hell you are calling this VGMB or whatever.

I remember when Polls actually had, I don't know, content.

I just became partially active in it because, well, I was a member. And I do plan on hosting YMB2, and I realize it's a bit hypocritical, but I really do feel that Polls has been infested by this craze of "battles". I'm not saying it's entirely stupid, but it's a bullshit YCM "fad".

Well, at least Polls is getting some nice activity, even if it is getting a little spammy. xD

So, guise.

What games do you want to get this holiday season?

On my list is...

Donkey Kong Country Returns

Super Scribblenauts

___________

... Can the Mushroom Kingdom help me fill in the blank? D:

This means I have it

FF: 4 Heroes of Light

Kirby's Epic Yarn Really... Effeminate and Childish =/

Pokemon Ranger: Guardian Signs Meh, the first two were better...

Epic Mickey

New Fire Emblem (Not out of Japan, yet)

3DS, which is supposed to come out soon... And if Nintendo sticks to trends, it will be out here as fast as the Wii and DS left Japan.

Black and White (More birthday, actually)

...Okamiden?

I don't really have a Christmas (and birthday) list. I'm moreso saving up for that damn 3DS. =)

Not coming until 2011.

But when it's released, I'm comi- *shot*

...

That's actually a very good idea. O_o

I've heard that the 3DS will cost around $300. ><

...isn't a bit ironic that you are calling Epic Yarn "childish" when you are obviously a pretty big Nintenerd?

I don't see how Epic Yarn is effeminate, either. It's a new spin on things, I love the artwork, and from what I've heard so far, the music is great. Gameplay is the only thing I don't know much about, but it's impossible to ruin a huge franchise like Kirby.

EDIT:

It's $300 in direct Yen-to-Dollar conversions, but it's probably going to be $250 retail price in the US. Never ever directly convert Yen to Dollars; you'll always get the wrong answer.

Metroid Other M?

A new Ipod?

An instrument?

A laptop?

A gaming console?

An Itunes gift card?

What areas are you looking in?

Other M is boss and I want it. D:

However, I really want to make sure I have enough money for the 3DS, so I'm probably going to spend this Christmas saving up.

EXCUSE ME

EPIC YARN IS HARDCORE.

No, but if you look past the (amazing) art, you'll find a pretty kickass Kirby game. It pisses me off that Kirby can't die, however.

I prefer Nintendork.

God, this is like buying another Wii. MADNESS.

I'm a Nintenerd, sure, but Kirby's Epic Yarn is like... Kirby meets Sesame Street or Barney.

Gameplay is the best part .The overall storyline so far is meh, and the game just is VERY flowery, and whatnot.

I don't see how it was toned down to a childish level. I own Squeak Squad, and personally, I feel the plot and generally visual design of the game was really childish, but when I look at Kirby's Epic Yarn, it looks different in a better way. Flowery doesn't necessarily mean it is effeminate, especially since a character like Kirby, I don't know, loves roaming around in flowery places.

As you progress later on into the game, I'd assume you'd enter caves and lava-and-ice-typed stuff, so the flowers would die eventually.

The gameplay is quite fun, save the fact that you can't die. Just... the story ;~;

"And so, Prince Fluff grabbed a tree and swung from it, to get Kirby food. But, he knocked Kirby off the tree. Kirby was so angry he forgot about being hungry, and chased Fluff for hours"

>Kirby

>Not hungry

>BLATANT LIES

>__>

@DarK: No, it is childish. See above.

Also, you do go to other places... That first area is just "STAB ME!" material.

"So this random-ass red freak grabbed a cake and Kirby risks his life and everything he owns (not much) to get that cake back, and never even eats it at the end because it is still in your inventory after you beat the game."

Yes, Squeak Squad had an amazing plotline comparatively.
