true, shikimaru couldn't do it. But itachi's sharingan gave him an advantage that shikimaru could never have. But it still goes without saying that itachi could easily kill every one of the ninja's without too much trouble, except for sasuke, who would possibly tickle itachi if itachi really hated him, went full out and showed no mercy.

 

as for shikimaru defeating the whole clan, he couldn't do it. He could possibly assassinate those who have low fighting abilities, but once he started getting to the more skilled fighters, he wouldn't stand a chance. I think that the granny from the sand village (i forgot her name, and am too lazy to look it up) put it best, 1v1 when your opponent has sharingan is a lost battle. (unless you're might guy. If you're might guy, than you can probably beat any of the uchiha's into the ground besides itachi and sasuke)

ur forgetting that itachi's sharingan is so developed, that it isn't dependant on eye-contact. Also, it doesn't matter, as all it takes is a second. In a single second he can manipulate all time and reality. When itachi used his sharingan on kakashi, itachi jammed 72 hours into a second, and for each second of those 72 hours itachi stabbed kakashi multiple times. A second is all it takes for itachi to break you, and he doesn't even have to look into your eyes.

Off Topic: Who do you think is smarter/genius between Itachi, Kakashi, Shikamaru, and Orochimaru? My guess is Kakashi. He become Jounin much younger than Itachi and have a better quick decision combat prowess. Kakashi only weakness is his very limited Chakra capacity. I bet he can defeat Pain or Madara easily if he had a massive amount of Chakra like Naruto.

yea, naruto has mentioned that kakashi is smarter than shikimaru. I think usetheforcehan has his theory the best set out. If kakashi were to have massive amounts of chakra like naruto, who has 4 times more chakra than kakashi, without amplification from kyubi or sage mode, then kakashi would be a much more destructive and terifying force to be reckoned with. Besides having low chakra reserves, he has one more weaknes.................................................................. make-out paradise spoilers xD

I'd say the greatest 'genius' among them is Itachi due to a combination of intelligence and talent, and the one that's actually smartest is Shikamaru. Kakashi isn't actually all that tough when you consider the fact that to use pretty much any of his strongest techniques he has to use the Sharingan, which places a huge drain on him. We know that Itachi > Orochimaru > Kakashi ~ Shikamaru. But in terms of battlefield talent, remember that Itachi made it through the Third Great War unscathed at the age of six.

 

Also, I can totally see Madara being a closet perv with Icha-Icha.

but i don't think he actually fought, i think he only observed.... pain also made it unscathed, but his family didn't. also, itachi's sharingan gives him huge advantages over orochimaru, but still, even without sharingan, itachi would pwn. And yea, kakashi doesn't use any of his own techniques, but instead takes techniques from ninja he has defeated/fought with, while itachi uses his own unique fighting style. i think shikimaru is the best tactition among them. kakashi has more battle prowess than shikimaru, but itachi is a better fighter than kakashi. if kakashi were uchiha by blood, he would be much more powerful, but he is limited with use of his sharringan, but he has become extreamly proficient in its use by doing so.

•Kakashi= Best Battle Adept/Condition

As long as we're discussing completely random stuff, there's something that's kinda been nagging at me a bit for the past couple days. This question will sound completely idiotic at first, but I ask that you give it a bit of thought and read the case I lay out.

 

If Sasuke were to fight the First Hokage, would Sasuke have a decent chance of winning?

 

I have no illusions about Sasuke being on the actual power level of Hashirama. However, Sasuke's abilities are uniquely suited to combat the First. Chidori Eisou can counter wood jutsu by slicing through them, Sasuke's Sharingan makes him immune to Genjutsu, his Lightning jutsu allow him to overcome the First's Earth and/or Water techniques, and with Susanoo he can withstand powerful attacks and defeat any demons the First sends after him.

 

What do you guys think about this fight?

How would Shikamaru render Itachi unable to use his Sharingan? Even if he uses those light-bombs, Itachi can see chakra. Also, Itachi has a number of jutsu he can activate without moving, like Amaterasu and Tsukuyomi, and he could use clones to trick and distract Shikamaru.

If Madara can't win against Hashirama in the past, what make you think Sasuke can? Madara is a super Ninja, he can control the Kyuubi, can use the Space-Time Jutsu technique, have the Sharingan eyes from his Brother. And yet he lose and presume died in the past.

It doesn't matter. Think Itachi as Medusa. Just a simple glimpse on his eyes can trap you in the Tsukuyomi. Even if Shikamaru somehow can Shadow Bind him, Itachi have Susano'o and it can move and attack while Itachi is standstill. Unless Shikamaru have combat prowess like Guy (fighting with only see their opponent's feet), he doesn't stand a chance against Itachi.

lol, very true usetheforcehan, that is a very good analysis. But i think that the Medusa isn't entirely correct. If you remember, naruto never made eye contact with itachi, and all he did was point at him. That put him under the power of tsukuyomi. There's absolutely no chance shikimaru would be able to trap itachi. and in the off chance that he did, itachi is still capable of moving his eyes, which is more than enough. and also, there is shushanoo. And shikimaru's chakra reserves aren't big enough to be able to hold itachi for very long. Eventually he would break out and pwn shikimaru

I know Sasuke's not as powerful as Hashirama. Hashirama is stronger. That's established. What I'm saying is that Sasuke's powers are specially suited to counter Hashirama. Let's use Pokemon as a metaphor:

 

We have a Hippowdon level 50 and a Mismagius level 45. Hippowdon is stronger; however, Mismagius has Levitate and Energy ball. It can nullify Hippowdon's strongest moves with that ability and kill it with Energy Ball, which is super effective. We can agree that the Hippowdon (Hashirama) is more powerful, but Mismagius (Sasuke) can nullify its Ground-type STAB (Wood Release) with Levitate (Chidori Nagashi) and kill it with Energy Ball (Chidori Eisou).

 

I'm fully aware that Hashirama's more powerful. I'm just saying that Sasuke is uniquely suited to defeat him.
