Level 1's can OTK too!

Like the title says, Level 1 Normal monsters are capable of OTKs. It is a simple OTK that revolves around the use of 3 (or 4) cards:

Enchanting Fitting Room (you may need 2)

Triangle Power

Law of the Normal

1. By using Enchanting Fitting Room, you pick up the top 4 cards of your deck. If you pick up at least 3 Level 1's, you are good for the OTK (If you have 1 Normal Monster on the field and 1 in hand). If you do not get the cards you need, use another Enchanted Fitting Room.

2. Once you get your field full of monsters, it is important to play Triangle Power first!! If you play Law of the Normal, then you lose Triangle Power, which in turn fails the OTK. All of your monsters gain 2000 ATK!

3. After you have played Triangle Power, immediately use Law of the Normal. This will destroy every single card on the field and in the hand but your monsters. Attack for the win.

As consistant as this strategy is, this isn't good for this meta with all of the Stardust Dragons and Starlight Roads in players decks (The two cards that can possibly stop the OTK [next to Dark Bribe ]). When both become limited, however, this OTK may have a good chance of being at least a tier 2 deck. It can easily dispatch and decimate your opponent if played successfully (You won't need to worry about Gorz).

Like I said, this strategy isn't good for this meta, but I urge you YCM to keep this as a reference for it may be better next meta (or the meta after that. Which ever meta Stardust and Starlight hit the list.). Also, I know many YCM'ers know about this strategy (if you don't, you live under a rock), so don't bash this saying this is common knowledge please, as it may become more popular than you think sooner or later.

How is something that relies on topdecking three Volcanic Rats consistent?

Because he said so?

Oh yeah' date=' forgot that.

How could you?

You should know consistency is what the thread creator says it is.

Sorry, it's hard for me to concentrate when you've made 1400 posts in the last four days.

... ok, but the whole point of this deck is using Triangle Power and Law of the Normal. Throw out all effect monsters like Copycat, king of skull servants, etc.

Anyway this deck might be hard to pull off, but it is possible. You don't even need volcanic rat to do it, you can still do it with 3 Thousand-eyes Idol and 2 of something else. I recommend Human-Wave Tactics. Just run a whole bunch of normal lv1s. Maybe use Pot of Avarice to return your fodder to the deck.

Skull Servant King is still the most powerful OTK'ing 1star..

cause it can have 8000ATK!!!!

but....

you know.

I got ya beat. Copycat is the most powerful LV1 atm. Your opponent has SSK on the field you summon Copycat :D

but that requires them to have SSK.

not that easy.

cause as they would have to run SSK as well or he would have no attack.

Copycat matches any monster anyway so he's a situational strongest lv1
