But Artemis kissed something fluffy, brown, and hairy instead. Winged Kuriboh had managed to get in the way of the girl and his mistress, and was very upset at Artemis.

"Umm...I can see that you're glad to meet me, but I'm already engaged to the man of my dreams, Prince Johan of Northland!"

Princess Judai suddenly gained this expression that made her starry-eyed, like she was dreaming of this Prince of hers.

The boy got an odd look on his face, it seemed like he had realized something terrible, Wait, if your marrying Johan, then does that mean your our mom from the past, then that means our parents were.!.!.! The boy seemed to get extremely depressed, the girl went to her brothers side and tried to make him feel better, Wait, remember there was that guy that looked like mom to, maybe she just looks like her, and is marrying a man with the same name. You notice the boy bears an extremely strong resembles to Johan.

Ruby's Yubel, and thus Judai's Yubel's future self, replied, offering Judaihime's Yubel her hand, "I remember you well, Yubel, you asked me that same question when I was her." He pointed to her past self, "Oh, and yes, no, yes, yes, no, and yes." She told her past self, "And yes, this is as big of an annoyance as it appears, you'll find out when you're me."

 

Ruby shook Judaihime's hand, "So... In another universe Grandpa Judai would have been Grandma Judaihime?!" Ruby asked, laughing at the thought of the Judai she knew dressed as a princess, "Hey, wait, if you're marrying Johan Andersen, what happened to your world's Layla Tachibana?" She asked, puzzled, "And, more importantly, to your world's version of ---" Her words were cut off by Yubel clapping her hand over her mouth.

 

"Sh" Yubel whispered so that only Ruby could hear, "That Judai next to us hasn't started seeing Rei yet. Don't spoil our future." She chuckled, "This is not going to be a fun adventure for me... I've already been here when I was with Grandpa Judai."

Judaihime's Yubel chuckled. "Well, it looks like I'm not needed in this conversation, since I'm not even a time clone of you two! I guess I'm my own Yubel, then!"

 

Judaihime was very confused, but she quickly took hold of the situation. "Alright, all of you calm down! I'm not related to any of you! And I have no idea what's in store for me, or what happened to what world's version of who! I'm simply me, Judaihime, a princess who happens to be an alternate version of a very important guy named Jaden. Now, does that help clarify things?"

"Geez, I activate my SECOND set card, Solemn Judgement, to negate your Dark Bribe, by paying half my life points, which makes my life points now 100." Meus said in a hurry. He could only counter one more time with his last set card. This chain was too chaotic.

"I KNOW as hell does that you are not who your original once was. It's just simply the fact that the very thought of extinguishing you, you who has the same blood as that madman.....it will bring great delight. Because of your original, five THOUSAND years of planning, thought, and acting out became worthless. Because of your original, I had lost the very reason for EXISTING in the first place. And because of your original, I had lost my sword. I LIKED that sword. It's not a matter of who you are now. I wouldn't even care if you would have been the savior of the universe, I would still destroy you. Because of who your original was, I shall destroy you, and then I can ease my one thousand years of anger."

And then he paused. Wait, the gender-bender princess Judaihime from that other dimension is here?

As Thomas arrived to where the group was he looked at all of them wondering who they are, the thing that made him wonder was when he saw 2 people with similer hair stlys and wondered if they were twins. He then joined into the conversation by saying "Hi, umm... whats going on here then?" while trying to think if it was a good or bad idea and hope nothing bad comes out of it.

I'll activate the quick-play Spell Card Rival Force, I select one monster on the field and it looses the ability to attack, not only that but the other player summons monsters from their deck who's level equal his, so I'll select my Silent Swordsman, so not only can't he attack but you have to summon monsters whose combined levels equals his. Silent Swordsman's is 7, a red aura stopped him from attacking this turn. Oh, and now that I know your reasons, I'm going to go all out, I end my turn.

"Thomas, I'm Yubel, that's my past self, and that's my alternate self." Ruby's Yubel said, bored, "The person standing next to my past self is named Judai Yuki, the princess is Judaihime, and the girl next to me is named Ruby." Yubel then held out her hand to Thomas, "I'm sorry, but this is where my part ends for a while. I've already been through this ordeal once, and I'd prefer not to relive my memories in the third person." And, after shaking Thomas' hand, Yubel vanished, to be replaced by Crystal Beast Ruby Carbuncle and Neo Spacian Air Hummingbird.

 

While Carbuncle was content with rubbing against Thomas' legs, asking to be petted like a normal cat would, Air Hummingbird seemed to be more up for conversation, "Greetings, I'm Neo Spacian Air Hummingbird, though you may call me Aero." He looked at his hand and shrugged, "I'd offer my hand, but I wouldn't want you to get cut by my claws on accident, they don't seem to retract."

"no thats okay..." Thomas said while being slightly confused as well as wondering how Yuble knew his. He looked down to the carbuncle and smiled and then looked to the group trying to think of what would the appropriate thing to say. He thought as he saw Yuble, the carbuncle and the humming bird and said "Are you guys duelist then?" Wondering if he maybe able to find clues about whats going on in the world he arrived in while thinking of what sort of decks the people infornt of him would be using.

"To hell with monsters, draw." Meus drew his card. "I activate the Spell Card, Force Attack. I can make a monster on the field attack, regardless of whether or not it can attack. And you know I still have two Black Chaos Mages plus a Black Chaos Mage Girl that can reflect your attacks. So yeah, go figure. Silent Swordsman, attack me directly!" He simply laughed as the swordsman prepared to attack him. "'No force can stop what I am', that's what I said long ago. But I was proven wrong when Paradox appeared. I shall stop the force that can stop me, and the only way to stop it is to stop EVERY ONE of it!"

[~Duo~]

Suddenly, Judai cried out, "I'm starting to get really uncomfortable with all these alternate forms of me..." He was confused by all these Yubels, alternate forms of himself, etc. "I just hope there aren't more Neos..." he sighed. "Winged Kuribohs... that's fine by me," he added quietly. "But Elemental Heroes just freak me out." He shook his head and awaited Yusei's reply, then immediately answered, "Yes," to the guy named Thomas, according to what the others were saying.

"Uh, Grandpa Judai, I'm not an alternate form of you." Ruby said, hugging her grandfather, "I'm your granddaughter. One day in the distant future, one of your children will marry one of Johan Andersen and Layla Tachibana's children." She explained, "No, I won't tell you the name of your future wife or which of your children is my parent."

 

Winged Kuriboh, refusing to let Carbuncle have all the attention, popped into existence next to the small cat and batted her out of the way with his wing, "Kuri kuri! Kri!" He said, flitting around Thomas' head and shoulders victoriously.

 

Carbuncle regained her composure and tackled Winged Kuriboh out of the way, meowing the entire time.

 

Ruby sighed and shook her head, "Kuriboh, Carbuncle, come on." She muttered, "You two have been fighting like this since Grandpa Judai and Grandpa Johan were in high school. Enough is enough already." But, of course, the two Duel Spirits didn't seem to listen to her.

[~Duo~]

"So, wait... then who am I supposed to marry, then? Oh, never mind, then." Judai asked weakly to his supposed "granddaughter". He believed her, of course, because he had been taken to another time as well. He knew many things and subjects to ask her, but he refrained himself from questioning her too much. "I pass down Winged Kuriboh to you?" Judai questioned brightly, smiling at the sight of the two Winged Kuribohs, as his own Kuriboh had came out and attempted to start a "conversation" (Judai guessed) with the other Kuriboh.

[Thomas★Zero]

"Neos and Winged Kuriboh... ehhh...." Thomas said with a worried look on his face as if Jaden saw a few certain cards in his deck he would snap. Then Thomas added "Just to ask whats going on in this city as am pretty much confused already."

 

Thomas then wondered about the group he was in and asked "I guess you guys are duelist like myself then but am wondering if all of whats going in his related to dueling." He was conserned with what situation he was in that he wondered if this all related to his deck aswell as the decks of the others around him meaning that more people that could of arrived the same way he did could be here.

[Zetsu-plant]

Daisuke walked out of the library looking excited with a new book in his hand called Polio, the disease of many deaths.

 

"Finally i have something to read about that will relate to my deck. If only i had the books about the Bubonic Plague and Ebola."

 

He walked around the corner when some random duelist challenges him to a duel.

 

"I am kinda not in the mood to duel. I just got a new book and i am looking to read it as soon as i get home."

 

"Too bad!" the duelist said slapping Daisuke's book into a puddle he was standing over.

 

Daisuke had a panic attack and ripped out his duel disk.

"I activate my trap card Mirror Force to deflect your attack and destroyed all of your monsters in defense position!"

 

"I activate the trap card Trap Crusher! It destroys your trap card and inflicts you 500 points of damage! This duel is over and you are buying me a new book."

 

The duelist bought Daisuke a new book

 

"Thank you very much kind stranger."

 

Daisuke went home to read his new book and read it for hours.

But before Meus forgot. "Aha, but that isn't all. Due to your card's effect, if I'm correct, I must Special Summon a monster that is or close to seven. So then, since there isn't another card in my Deck like that....I suppose I have to summon it. Appear, Dark Magician of Chaos!" And a Magician appeared, a teenager, clad in the clothes of Black Chaos Mage. "Due to it's effect, I can add one spell card to my hand, and there's only one spell card in my graveyard, then I add the card I just used, Force Attack, to my hand. Now then, due to the effect of my Field Spell, I have to attack you. Dark Magician of Chaos, ATTACK!!!!!!! Black Chaos Magic!"

When your monster comes at mine I activate my face down shadow spell, Because of my Shadow Spell your monster not only can't attack but you lose your monster loses seven hundred attack and it can't change its battle position. Paradox had a confident look on his face as if no matter what his opponent did he would end up on top, this is odd seeing how almost all of his strategies had been blocked so far.

"Huh." Meus had to pause for a while. "I just lost." And the card Soul Destruction, everyone had apparently forgotten, put Meus on fire. He knew the card was there, but his Field Spell had prevented him from not attacking, so there was absolutely no hope.

"I'll get you some other time. I'll hunt you down to the egde of the last multiverse to destroy you. Suffer my curse, Paradox. I shall soon be the death of you. Suffer my everlasting curse! Akh trakefaeht Osiris ceurta grahtoh!" And then he disappeared in a mist. He was gone. And his curse binded their fates.

"Actually, no, you gave your... child... Winged Kuriboh, I just got it third hand from one of my parents." Ruby said, "Obviously, in the interest of keeping the timeline safe and secure and all that junk Yubel's spouting off in my head right now, I'm not gonna tell you who Granny Yuki is, just in case you two haven't started dating yet. Oh, and Neos, Aquos, and the other Spacians say hi. I got them too, though Neos took some doing. Had to wait until I turned thirteen before you finally decided to let me have him. And, yes, I was supposed to tell you that." She sighed, "OK, Yubel, you went back in my soul so you didn't have to relive this stuff, so for the love of God, stop nagging in my ear." A long ten seconds passed, "Thank you!"

 

Meanwhile, Carbuncle was still fighting Ruby's and Judai's Winged Kuribohs, though, predictably, the small four eared cat couldn't seem to land a single blow on Ruby's Winged Kuriboh since his past self was now witnessing the fight.

 

"Kuri, kuri kri kri!" Ruby's Kuriboh shouted to his younger self, roughly translating to "Pay attention, and move about a foot in any direction but left." It really was remarkable how much Kuriboh language shortened sentences.

Then something hit him. Judai asked, "But I Super Fusioned Yubel with my soul? How is it possible that you have her?" Yubel, beside him, was hinting that she knew, but when he pestered her for information, she refused to say a single thing, acting smugly.

 

"Aw, come one, won't you tell me?"

 

Sorry, Judai, but I won't. It's not my place to tell you that.

 

"Then whose is it?"

 

You already know the answer.

Paradox simply deactivated his duel disk and walked away, but he had some of the originals memories so he knew what had happened how the man had been warped by events. As he walked away a tear fell down his face remembering not only his opponent but all the people the original Paradox had hurt and all the work he had to do in order to make at least part of what had happened right.

Desna stepped in front of Paradox. "Do you know how hard it was to track you, Yami?" He coldly asked as he pulled out a pistol and blew out the man's kneecaps and elbows. "The person who requested me to find you also told me to do that. Until she will heal you, that will serve as a reminder. A reminder of the pain you inflicted upon her when you left." Desna then picked up the bleeding young man and started climbing up a nearby fire escape ladder. "You should be blacking out from a combination of the pain and blood loss in a few seconds. But I will make sure you're still alive when you see your girlfriend again."

"Ge... We... Will... Why... I.... Hey!" Ruby said, getting visibly flustered, "I know you've already been through this when you were her," She gestured in Judai's direction, "But seriously, would it kill you to let me...." She immediately shut up for a few seconds, "Paradox? Didn't Grandpa Judai already take him out? Oooooh a literal paradox. OK, so we were having this conversation before? So how do you know what you're going to say? No, seriously, am I supposed to be writing this stuff down to give to you later on? Hey wait a minute... What do you mean no? You don't even know what I was going to ask! Honest, could you give me a hand here?" The angelic Duel Monster Spirit appeared next to Ruby, who was by now ready to blow a gasket, "Not what I meant and you know it." Honest chuckled and vanished, and Ruby breathed a sigh of relief a couple seconds later. "Ya know Gramps, Yubel gets really moody later in life." She shook her head, "But yeah, at the risk of pissing off the ginormous two headed she-dragon in my mind, I'll clarify a little. When you Super Fused Yubel, she didn't just Fuse with you. She Fused with you and every one of your descendants. Don't ask me to clarify any further because I got a serious migraine when it got explained to me, but suffice it to say that there are, for all intents and purposes, at least three Yubels right now, but they're all her." Again she gestured towards Judai, then snapped her fingers, "OK, it's like when you and Uncle Edo dueled that mirror girl. Each one of her Gods of Darkness were separate, but they were still the same Monster."

"Oh, okay, then I think I get it. So your saying that I kinda passed on part of my soul to my descendants?" Meanwhile, his own Winged Kuriboh was ignoring their entire conversation and was crying out encouraging comments to his future self! "Kuri, kuri!" Beat that little cat! Watch out for that pounce! Future Winged Kuriboh, use Tackle! (XD) Judai, fully understanding what his Kuriboh was shouting, sighed, taking out his Duel Disk and played "Winged Kuriboh" after extracting it from his deck. Kuriboh, however, was finally paying attention, and began to fly crazily everywhere. "Kuri, kuri!" No, don't you dare try that! Judai, ignoring his protests, attempted to catch him after solidifying him.
