/성成현賢/.led
Frunk' date=' if you want to get back into the game with a winning deck, I highly recommend buying 3 copies of the Machina Mayhem Structure Deck. You can easily build a tournament-winning 40-card deck with that + a few staples like Heavy Storm, MST, Brain Control, and so on.[/quote'] +
Lonk
To be honest Frunk, you have no theme for your Deck. You need to pick a theme that suits what cards you have. What kinds of cards do you have?
Valkyrie Lupia Blitzer
No, the deck has a theme. But he's not doing very well with that theme. Jabber's build sounds good, but why Crystal Seers? :/

Tempest Dahlia
... Wow this is... really bad... l recommend reading some tourny reports and decklists... and then netting their deck. Most meta decks only need half a brain cell anyway, so it's more about actually getting the cards. But money should be the last thing on your mind with a deck like this.
Lonk
If you are building a Dark Paladin Theme, you must have good ways of bringing DM and Buster Blader out. Miracle Restoration might be a good idea (I said might ok?). Adding Hex Seals and King of the Swamps aren't a bad idea either.
Frunk
@Griffin: Yes, this is my real deck so the reason it is so "EW" is because I have a limited amount of good cards to fill it with. @jabber: I thank you for those suggestions. I will look into to them now. The only issue I have is that that line-up eliminates the Dragon aspect of the deck.
-Griffin
Well, if you could give us an approximate budget, that would help a lot. $30 is enough for 3x Machina Mayhem or a couple other mostly-common/cheap rare Decks. (I've made hyper-budget-Batteries on around $10 before, so whatever ya got could work)
Frunk
I don't have a set budget for this. I suppose, if I were able upgrade it gradually, I could spend an unlimited amount on it. I have quite an amount of disposable income.
Azmodius
The deck lacks theme. It seems like you like Dragons, Dark Magicians, etc. Pick one theme and make it better.
Frunk
Dark Paladin is all about Dragons.
jabber2033
Dark Paladin is all about Dragons. True, but Stardust Dragon is a commonly used card. Lots of people play that and you'll probably see it pretty often. And there are other dragons like Red Dragon Archfiend, Ancient Fairy Dragon, ect. Any of your opponent's dragon-type Synchro monsters can give Paladin a boost. Plus, he doesn't really need that much of a boost since 2900 is fairly strong as it is. Even still, I'd recommend Machina decks for competative play. Dark Paladin is better used casually.

Frunk
All right, I'm considering some changes, though I have no means of getting some of the cards suggested, like Mirror Force and Bottomless Trap Hole.
-Griffin
Okay. Drop the Armed Dragons unless you're going for an Armed Dragon Deck. They don't work at all without plans to support them. Dark Paladin would probably work better with no Dragons at all, or with a BEWD/White Stone-based engine for draw. The ATK boost is less important than fitting in more controlling elements. Frunk
I thought the Armed Dragons would make an effective combo with Masked Dragon, however if you really think they're a bad idea I'll not add them. Having Dark Paladin and Dragons in my deck is important to me as a personal preference, and this deck doesn't have to be overly competitive as there aren't any tournaments held or real experts to compete with around here anyway.
