See long plots are better' date=' but more people have such shot attention spans. That is why the plot that is only 3 sentences long has perhaps 10-15 app in about a day.

I wouldn't mind long plots, because I am rather fond of reading. I don't see how I can shorten this without making it too simple.

Appearance: Phoenix's personality is very shy, as he is not used to socialising with others. He wears an orange academy jacket, as he is an unusual duelist, yet winning almost every time. Under his jacket, he wears a black t-shirt, on some occasions (in his hardest duels), it appears to glow with a phoenix sign, people mistake this for the crimson dragon mark. His trousers are a dark grey, appearing to turn dark orange when his t-shirt glows. His duel-disk is orange, with the head of a phoenix near the center. He has a duel-runner that has capabilities of floating over water, which is how he got to new domino city, from his mysterious past.

Biography: Phoenix Aero used to live on a remote volcano with his parents, around new domino city, it is believed that they were on the volcano during the separation of new domino city and the satellite. His parents were extraordinary duelists. During the time they thought Phoenix should leave, (as there was only one duel-runner left, the one Phoenix uses currently), they decided to give him his first deck. His dad used Flamvells, while his mum used a revival-based-damage deck, and they mixed the decks, hoping to make it work, they made phoenix use the built deck against the remaining cards until it worked. The duel-runner he uses appears to have been composed of many wings and magnets, causing its ability to float taking advantage of positive and negative energy.

Appearance: Nick has blue eyes with a small bit of green around the blue. He has brown hair and wears a black leather jacket that has Relinquished on the front right side of the jacket. He also wears ripped black jeans with a purpleish color to it.

Biography: Nick comes from a french culture. He has a act-scent that sounds like a French Canadian. When he was 6 he started playing duel monsters. He wasn't very good at it, but that changed when he got a deck that consisted on Controlling the field. He now is joining the Elemental Tournament.

Appearance: Zero is 5' 9" tall and weighs about 120 lbs. He wears his Duel Academy uniform, an altered Ra Yellow outfit that has the right sleeve come down much further than the left, almost down to his knees. Zero has brown, slightly above-shoulder-length hair with natural dirty-blonde streaks running through it. Zero also has heterochromia, resulting in one eye being brown, the other green. Zero is somewhat pale and thin, as a result of not being very active.

Biography: Zero was born into a working-class family in New Domino City. He spent most of his early years (up until his ninth birthday) watching Duels featured on TV. On his ninth birthday, Zero was given the original copy of Hyozanryu, which originally belonged to his grandfather. That very day, Zero realized he could communicate with Duel Spirits, specifically Hyozanryu and other monsters based on gems and diamonds, such as Luster Dragon. When he turned eleven, Zero finally gathered enough money on his own to buy himself enough cards to create his deck, a deck of LIGHT and Dragon monsters, a deck that he would use all the way up until his years at Duel Academy. He enrolled in Duel Academy at age 13 and just barely made the cut for Ra Yellow, for if he had missed one more question on the exam, he would have been placed in Slifer Red, and his whole future might have changed. From then on, Zero began using a deck centered around monsters based on diamonds and gemstones, specifically Hyozanryu and the Luster Dragons. At age 14, his parents were killed in a fire started by an angry Obelisk Blue student who lost to Zero, orphaning him. The following week, Zero was promoted to Obelisk Blue, but he never showed up. He remained in Ra Yellow until just recently, when he dropped out to join the ongoing war.
