Yami felt terrible about the fact that he kissed Itsu while in Paradox's body, it wasn't the kiss itself that was bad, it was the fact that his first kiss was not only not with the girl he liked but with her mom, as he waited t be moved to the next day he thought about all the actions Paradox had taken and all the lives he had ruined, Man, how does a person get like that... Yami found that he could understand why Itsu hated Paradox, but he couldn't figure out how Paradox felt.

Itsu warned as Yami was reattached to Paradox.

"Paradox...Mister Paradox, please wake up...you really need to see this..."

When Yami opened his eyes, a Dark Signer version of Carly Carmine was standing next to him. He was no longer in the space station, but on some planet with dirty, cloudy skies.

"Thank Aslla you're alive!" Carly announced. "That explosion really knocked you out!"

After a few turns. Somehow Jack had managed to destroy Slifer. It was now Zack's turn "My draw!" Zack declared "And I tune Stardust Tuner - Kakooyamai to Stardust Guardian - Saroutia! Clustering hopes will become a new shining star! Become the path its light shines upon! Synchro Summon! Take flight! Stardust Dragon!" [ATK: 2500] "Now! Stardust Dragon! End this duel with Cosmic Flare!" Zack declared as Stardust Dragon did a direct attack. Flames started to envelop Jack "See you a little later." Jack stated with a thumbs up before disappearing.

As Yami got up he held his head he then looked over at Carly, So, what happened exactly, and just how much damage was done. It took Yami a few seconds to remember who Carly was but when he did he realized that he had resynchronized with Paradox's memory and that he would need to be careful to keep the illusion. More importantly who did this and I want exactly who did it, I can guess the group.

Trey face-palmed himself. He didn't look pleased. He actually held a pose similar to Vicky's when she was a young girl. Trey went over to Pandora he touched her shoulder then said, " Watch this." He then pointed to the clouds. " STOP YELLING AT MY FRIEND!" Trey yelled at the cloud. then the clouds opened up around them. The thunder have seemed to stop. Trey then went ver to his side of the duel field. His skin was white like using his PSI tired him out. " Well are you okay now?" Trey asked her smiling.

Carly pointed over to a clearing where Itsu was dueling a young man with spiky blonde hair that had silver streaks in it, as well as a gold and silver suit that was similar to Itsu's, but designed for a guy and with some armor plating. The mystery of how Itsu dueled was confirmed by the glowing bump on her left arm, which was originally just a bump. Itsu had out the Malefic versions of the Five Signer Dragons, but this other guy had summoned a strange dragon that looked like it belonged underneath a microscope.

 

Pandora resumed her dueling stance, and drew her card, then looked over her hand. "I draw, and I activate Valhalla, Hall of the Fallen, which lets me Special Summon Freya, Spirit of Victory from my hand!"

A cheerleader with halos for bracelets and anklets descended from Valhalla and started cheering. (100 ATK)

"Now I will Normal Summon Dunames Dark Witch from my hand!"

A cute red-armored angel appeared from a portal and posed. (1800 ATK -> 2200 ATK)

"Now, Dunames, attack Spiderfang! Valkyrie Strike!"

Dunames fired a rainbow-colored bolt of energy at the giant spider.

Trey giggled at pandora's mistake. Spiderfang had 2300 attack points from Forest. Of course Pandora didn't seem to notice that. trey pressed a button on his duel disk and a trap flipped up. " i activate the trap card Fairy Box. I activate it's effect meaning I can flip a coin. If I call it right your monsters attack points are reduced to zero during the damage step." trey said. Trey called out Heads a giant coin appeared with a leaf representing a head and a Naturia Weave representing tails. It flipped up and it fell to the ground. It was on the leaf side. Trey watched as Dunames attack as her rainbow blast turned into a tiny spark which bounced off Trey's spider.

Yami looked over at the two dueling, the man seemed familiar but he couldn't quite put his finger on who it was but he couldn't quite remember who he was. If Itsu's dealing with him then there shouldn't be a problem, so what else do I need to do today, I'm guessing it will be an annoying day. Yami got up and stretched his neck, he didn't know what was happening but he knew that he needed to be careful,not only to keep his position as Paradox but for his safety as well.

After winning the duel. Zack saw a deck in front of his feet. He picked it up and turned to Desna. "Are you here to duel too?" Zack asked with a smile as he switched his old deck with the new one. Zack then activated his Duel Disk. "So, am I right or am I wrong?" Zack asked with a smirk, awaiting Desna's response. Zack was smiling. Zack deactivated his Duel Disk and checked out the deck. It was a deck focused on _____ ________.

Pandora started crying as she turned off her Duel Disk. "I can't do this! I can't do anything right!"

 

Carly was amazed. "Do you not recognize him?!? That's Damian Atlas!!! He's up there with Yusei Fudo, Jaden Yuki, and Yugi Moto as a champion-level Duel Monsters player! He's one of the strongest agents C3, our opponents in this war, have! And he's the reason Itsu's been troubled these past few days! Ever since she first saw him, she's had heart pains every time she did something bad to him! Her monsters, even Malefic Solace Dragon, won't obey her orders in a battle against him! And he not only claims to have known Itsu, but to also be her true lover!"

Yami looked over to Carly and smirked, Everything you said is true, but by himself he won't be able to change Itsu into what he wants her to be, not only will he not be able to go all out against her but he lacks the ability to defeat her, only if someone else interferes can he win, and with him gone Itsu will be who she truly is, now back to other business. It appeared as if Paradox had become someone angered by Carly's words but the truth was Yami was only playing the part trying to not make Carly suspicious.

In truth, Itsu and Damian didn't really seem to be doing much dueling. They just appeared to be talking to each other, though, from this distance, it was impossible to hear...

...until Itsu shuddered, and dropped to her knees as her monsters faded away.

Trey went over to Pandora. Trey felt her sadness through his pwers. Always she thought like this he found out. Is This what will happen to me when I'm older? Trey thought to himself. " Pandora, You said you were rusty. That you needed practice. This is just what this is. It dosen't matter if you lose. Only if you had fun and learned something from your loss." trey said to pandora with Wisdom that was past his years.

 

Trey then handed her two cards. One was Magical Citadel of Endymion and the other was Sanctuary in the Sky. Trey pointed to the sanctuary. "This card makes it so you don't take battle damage in battle involving a fairy type monster." Trey then pointed to the citadel. " AND this card boosts your spell counter probability. This is for your spell casters aand fairy type monsters." Trey said smiling at her.

Pandora took the cards, and hugged Trey. "Thank you." She whispered.

 

Desna took out another lolipop, examined it until he discovered that it was another Mystery flavor, unwrapped it, and popped the sucker in his mouth. He then started to walk over to Zack, and got out a Duel Disk. "Alright, let's get this done, but just letting you know, I am ready to go up against your little monsters and win. Hmm...lemon. So, let's do this!"

Desna's Duel Disk activated, and he set 2 face-downs before ending his turn.

Yami looked over to Carly, We have more important things to do now, recover Itsu if you can, today is going to be an irritating day. Yami tried to remember what Paradox would do in this situation, though it was difficult and so he followed Paradox's normal pattern for this kind of situation.

At the same time as the Pandora was ending her duel Aphrodite got onto her Duel Runner and began to ride down the streets to find her next 'toy'.

Zack drew five cards then a sixth "I'll summon Metal Warrior Dragon in attack mode!" [ATK: 1600] "Now I'll activate his effect, now I Special Summon Metal Warrior LV4 from my deck!" [ATK: 1600] "And now you get my Dragon!" Zack declared as Metal Warrior Dragon switched to Desna's field "Now! Metal Warrior LV4! Attack with Dark Claw!" Zack declared "I know what you're thinking, they'll both be destroyed." Zack stated as Metal Warrior LV4 destroyed Metal Warrior Dragon "I end my turn with two face-downs."

Desna flipped over his left Trap Card: Draining Shield, which sent out a shield that protected the metallic serpent.

"Now your attack is negated, and I get 1600 Life Points. Thank you so much!" (Desna: 5600 LP)

 

Itsu scolded Yami.

Carly shook her head. "Sir, they won't let anyone in there except you! Not meaning to sound rude, but you probably need to get her yourself!

I believe you would be right, Yami walked over to Itsu and picked her up and prepared to leave, he looked at the man that had dueled her with a glare that tells him that if given the chance he'd tare him apart molecule by molecule. After picking up Itsu Yami prepared to teleport away.

At the same time Aphrodite prepared to find someone who suited her taste, she had just finished playing with her last 'toy' and needed a replacement.

After some time Ace was able to get on his feet. Well its about time thought Red. Ace was still woozy from the crash. His life points were cut in half and didn't have many ways of getting them back. Red took over the body to give Ace a rest. I guess we should search the rubble for that case. said Ace. Red agreed and went over to the duel runner. Well looks like it isn't working. We could take it somewhere, but there isn't really anyone who could fixm it/ said Red. We searched the rubble for the case. It was jammed shut and appeared to have no way of opening. Red looked around and grabbed a crowbar from the duel runnner and pryed it open. All that was in it was a blank card. He looked at for a little. We should deliver this to Yami. He might be able to use it said Ace. Red put the card in his pocket and looked around for somewhere to go. He found a small house. It was small and only had a bed and table. We should get some sleep said Red. Ace took over and went to sleep.

Kyler slowly picked himself up off the ground.

"Uggh, where the hell am I?" He called Paladin of Cursed Dragon's Spirit from the Deck. "Do you know?"

The dragon he rode on just shrieked.

"Didn't think so..."

 

Kyler saw what seemed like lightning off in the distance, and noticing the portions of monsters above treetops and buildings, he knew he had to go there.

"Better late than never..." He wasn't entirely sure why he said that, and he wouldn't truly understand until quite some time afterward.

Trey giggled again. he then pulled away from the hug. " okay Pandora. Your welcome. But I do have a question. Where is your mother Ms. Itsu? I haven't seen her." trey asked Pandora. he was worried that itsu left them and haven't been back for a while. he looked around for her and couldn't see her. He was overcome with fear. Don't lose your weets. pandora can keep me safe. She is noce like Ms. itsu. Trey thought to himself.

Suddenly, at about halfway to the are surrounded by lightning, Kyler heard a roar.

"Hmmm...Doesn't sound to intimidating..."

Finally, the Paladin spoke up.

"NO. I Am nOT GOinG. I AM DeEplY SORrY mAStER, BUt I SEnsE TheRE ARE MucH MoRE PoWerFUL FOrceS THaN US aT WoRK herE. I AM AFRaiD THat yOU MUsT LEAve HeRE, OR lEaVE mE..."

"Whatever...And you're a Zombie, so why are you talking with random capital lettering? It should be all caps, or you should just say 'Arreeeeww' or something..." Kyler sent the Paladin back into his card.

 

As Kyler approached the lightning, he saw numerous dark figures dueling, with many powerful monsters, such as Stardust Dragon and Metal Warrior.

 

Kyler grinned for the first time in a while. "Looks like I' gonna have more fun than I thought..." And with that thought, he began running toward the center of the city.

Pandora shook her head. "No, I haven't seen my Mom."

 

But, just before Yami could leave, Damian came up and punched him in the back of the head, causing Itsu to fall out of his hands. Damian then caught Itsu in the air, and asked. "Are you alright?"

Itsu opened her eyes to reveal that both of them were normal, and she had tears in her eyes and she feebly wrapped her arms around the young man's neck. "I remember." She replied. "I remember our past. I remember the time we spent together. And I remember what I did to you. All of the pain that I inflicted upon you. And I am so sorry."

 

Desna drew his card, and smirked.

"I will Tribute Metal Warrior Dragon to Normal Summon Launchpad Base in Defense Mode!"

This monster cannot be Special Summoned. This monster is in Attack Position, it is destroyed. As he summoned the monster, a huge platform started to rapidly construct itself nearby. Within seconds, what was once a huge empty lot was now occupied by a fortified launchpad. (3000 DEF)

"Impressive, eh?" Desna asked the twin.

 

Meanwhile, Aphrodite rolled up to find Trihsder working on rebuilding his Duel Runner.

"Cireneg Trihsder. So, what is my favorite toy up to today?"

"What a waste." Zack stated "Metal Warrior LV4 can destroy any monster with an attack of 1700 or less." Zack explained "Is your turn over?" Zack asked, hoping to get going on his turn. He had something to do and was in a hurry. Zack checked out every possible strategy. "(I don't know the big ace card of this deck, but I have a feeling it's something big!)" Zack thought with a smirk as he looked at his hand and field.

"Well, actually, I have a defense strategy against your little Metal Warriors!" Desna declared as his Launchpad Base prepared a rocket. "I activate the effect of my Launchpad Base, discarding Satellite Telescope from my hand to Special Summon Satellite Shield Projector from my hand!"

The rocket lifted off, and went up into the non-sky. Hundreds of miles up, the rocket disengaged to become a strange-looking satellite. (0 DEF)

"Now, watch this!"

The satellite started emitting a beam of blue light down onto Launchpad Base, forming a shield.

"My Satellite Shield Projector can protect one card on the field from destruction, while my Launchpad Base makes my Satellites immune to your card effects! It's my ultimate defensive strategy, the legendary Star Wars Orbital Network!"
