Yami was surprised to see that Pandora had gotten hurt and decided to end the duel before any real damage was done, Well, it looks like you get it now so lets end it here. Yami took his cards and put them back into his deck, he then got up and dusted himself off, We should find your mom we've been out for a couple of hours and she's probably worried. Yami was worried about how he had none real damage, if it could do damage this easily then it really wasn't a fun game like those two had said.

Jack flipped his Duel Disk up and sent a Shock Wave to all of Desna's weapons, SEEMINGLY making them useless. "Seems like you have no choice." Zack stated as Jack flipped his Duel Disk back. Zack and Jack were prepared for a 2 on 1 duel. Jack smirked at his hand, Zack did the same. But they knew every strategy the other could use. And if they talked as loud as they think they did, Desna could of heard their strategies.

Desna started to chuckle, then laugh, then laugh evilly as he pressed a button on the side of his weapon and threw it high up into the air. At the top of its arc, the giant gun exploded into a ball of fire. Desna subsequently pulled out two large rifles with a large tube of glowing green stuff on the bottom of each gun.

"These, ladies, are M1250D-E/SH Heavy Plasma Rifles. the 'E/SH' means that they are EMP and Spell-hardened, preventing you from using another one of your little parlor tricks."

As if to emphasize, he fired the twin weapons into the air, then pointed them at Jack and Zack.

"Remember, kids, never bring a Duel Disk to a gun fight."

Zack and Jack raised their hands. Then they put it them down. Zack flipped his duel disk up and started pressing some of the buttons. Zack's Duel Runner came from behind Desna (SILENTLY!) and went faster, about to scoop him up and take him to where Zack and Jack dueled the Duel Spirit, if it were to scoop him up, only Zack would be able to stop it. "Calm down." Zack stated as the Duel Runner came closer.

"Alright. Let me just get my deck." Pandora ran back over and started looking through her deck, trying to figure out how to improve it.

"So, what kind of deck is that? Fairy or Spellcaster?"

"Actually, it's more of a Billy Deck, according to the guide I have here. The theme is cards from the Female Card List."

"Well, since it looks like you mainly have Spellcasters and Fairies, here are some support cards."

Itsu handed her daughter several cards.

"Aww! So cute!" Pandora exclaimed at a pair of adorable fairies.

"That's Gellenduo. This little fairy is very useful for getting out your bigger fairies."

Pandora then saw advanced versions of Pikeru and Curran.

"What are these?"

"Princess Pikeru and Princess Curran. They require a special Spell Card to get out, but they are much more powerful than their Magician forms."

Pandora added a few more cards, but was still confused.

"I thought I could only have 40 cards in my deck."

"40 is the minimum. The maximum is 60, which I usually use. You can use however many you like within those limitations, and I would be more than happy to help you build your deck however you like!"

"Thanks, Mom!" Pandora reached up and hugged her mother, then realized who was present. "MOM?!?"

"So, is your little friend going to introduce me?" Itsu asked as she turned to see Malefic Solace Dragon had picked up Yami by the collar and was holding him several feet above the pavement. "Apparently, my Malefic Solace Dragon doesn't like him for some reason. In fact, my entire Deck is in an uproar over this particular character. I wonder why?"

 

Desna grinned as he turned so that one gun pointed to face the Duel Runner while the other was still aimed at the twins.

"You call that sneaky? I could hear that coming from a mile away! Now, unless you want your little card game-playing motorcycle blown into radioactive slag, you get away from my napping spot and leave me the f**k alone!"

Yami was surprised by two things mainly, one being Pandora's mom coming, and the other being the dragon that had lifted him of the ground and was preparing to attack him, Um, hey I'm Yami and I'm Pandora's Friend... For some reason Yami felt sad about calling himself her friend, maybe he wanted to say best friend but he didn't know what the right words were for what he's feeling. Um nice to meet you... Yami was uncomfortable about the whole dragon ready to eat him thing.

"What are you talking about?!" Zack asked "We were here the whle time, YOU came to US!" Zack added "And you can't damage the runner anyway." Zack continued as the runner edged closer. While Desna was distracted by the runner, Jack walked closer and kicked the gun out of Desna's hand. Zack quickly jumped up and grabbed it before it flew to high in the air. Zack then pointed the gun at Desna, evening the playing field.

"Yes, but I was trying to get some sleep in the apartment building up there." Desna replied, shaking his head towards the mentioned structure. "I thought after your stupid display of Slifer the Executive Producer, you would've settled down from your little sugar high, but I was wrong. Now, I apologize for trying to kill you, but I am a very light sleeper, and your talking was bothering me. Could you please keep it down or move a block away from me? And one more thing, that gun is DNA-sensitive, and will only fire if my finger is the one on the trigger, so you stealing my gun was completely pointless."

 

"Don't worry." Itsu chuckled. "My beautiful little dragon won't eat you. At least, not in the traditional sense. She prefers to absorb her victims instead of devouring them, and she might even let you become her host. Of course, she hasn't allowed anyone that privilege, but there's always tomorrow."

Itsu then studied Yami carefully.

"You look familiar. Do I know you?"

Seeing how Desna had FINALLY calmed down, Zack threw him his gun and stopped his runner. "Fine, that's cool." Zack stated as he and Jack returned to where they were and continued their conversation, quieter this time. They kept on talking about the Egyptian Gods, and how awesome dueling was and about their dueling strategies and etc. They began a non-Duel Disk duel. A few turns later: Zack had summoned a much.... smaller version of Slifer..... about the size of Zack.

Yami was now officially terrified of Pandora's mother and was more scared than he had ever been before, Um, I don't think so, like I said I'm Yami. Yami was obviously scared of Itsu but for some reason he didn't seem to be scared of her dragon, even though it could at any time absorb him he felt that if they went at it one on on he'd be the winner. Um, why are you doing this to me again, I don't really remember doing anything bad, it was at that time that Yami remembered when he was holding Pandora and he began to blush, he was worried that she had seen that and that is why she was so mad at him.

Itsu smiled and simply pointed. "Do you recognize that?"

She was pointing to the Black Tower, the most obvious landmark in The City. Currently, with the orientation of its asymmetrically-placed spikes, they were about Northwest of the Black Tower, according to the generally accepted orientation of The City.

"In that Tower lies the Moderators, the controllers of this dimension. They enjoy abducting humans for other realities and placing them here, then toying with the poor creatures like a kid with a magnifying glass and other implements of destruction toys with colonies of ants. They really enjoy sending their minions, more or less permanent residents who see the abductees as something lower than them, and take pleasure in killing and torturing them for sport. I have no idea if there is an Administrator, but I do know that there are Moderators. I killed one of them. Single-handedly."

"Their only response was to lock me and my infant daughter here, preventing us from leaving. Why they didn't kill us was a mystery to me, but I have been on my guard ever since. As you can see, she is no longer a baby, and she is the only true indicator that any time has passed in here. How much that time may be, I don't know, as I can't figure out her true age, but she is still my baby, and I am a bit mistrusting of strangers. We have had run-ins with humans who were sent by the Moderators that tried to act like abductees. But now that I have had a thorough scan of your brain, I have come to the conclusion that you might be trusted, if you will allow me to get through the mental defenses blocking off part of your psyche. Do you know of these defenses?"

Yami was confused by what was being said to him but he did get that all she really wanted to do was to make sure her daughter was safe making Yami have a better opinion of her but he was still scared as hell of her, Okay, I don't know of any defenses nor do I know of what I did before I came here so it would probably be helpful of you to look through my mind. Yami was scared of her but he know that if he didn't do what she wanted he could probably never talk to Pandora again, and that would be really really bad.

Solace lowered the young man down to Itsu, who placed her hand on Yami's head, then concentrated. Immediately, something like a giant lack door unlocked inside of Yami's mind, and a vault of information and memories flooded his brain, He barely had time to process it all, but most of it was the memories of some other person. He could see faint glimpses of a woman that strikingly resembled Itsu, but her scarred eye was darkened and evil, and she was much more malicious. This maybe-Itsu seemed quite prevalent in these snippets of memories, which raised questions in the boy's mind.

But he was snapped back into reality by the pain of Itsu's b***h-slap. Pandora was cringing nearby as Itsu was expressing an emotion between grief and rage.

"YOU B*****D!!!" She cried out, kicking the kid while he was down. "HOW COULD HE?!? HOW COULD HE DO ALL OF THIS BEHIND MY BACK?!?!?"

Yami was confused at what he had seen and at the fact he had just been slapped in the face by the mother of the girl he liked, Yami was confused by the fact that he now understood what he was feeling about Pandora and more worrisome was the fact that he knew what her mothers name was, Itsu. Yami picked himself of off the floor and staggered, for a second he found himself in a room with a man that looked like him only wearing similar if not stranger cloths but in a moment he was back. So,what just happened, Yami was exhausted after everything that had happened.

Itsu kicked him in the ribs again. "I just unintentionally unlocked your genetic memories, a part of your psyche that wasn't supposed to be released for a few more years. I also managed to repress the latent personality inside. Basically, what I just opened was an entire person's mind, imprisoned within yours. At a certain point in your life, that part of your brain was supposed to open up, and the part of your that is Yami would be no more, erased and overtaken by Paradox, your father. Fortunately, I managed to defeat your father's psyche, and now, all that is left of his mental cache is his memories, which you now have."

Itsu hung her head in shame as she began again. "You're probably confused as to what I'm talking about. Why I have the Malefic monsters that are in your father's memories. Why I am so important in your father's memories. That is because I was his second-in-command, a long time ago."

Yami was confused by everything that had happened, he was someone else and they were going to take him over but now he wasn't, Yami lied down on the grown for a little while then he realized how Pandora must be feeling. Yami got up and brushed himself off, even though he was in a lot of pain he didn't let it show on his face. Don't worry Pandora I'm fine, it looks like your mom and the person that is apparently my parent had a pretty nasty history, and she really helped me out, Yami smiled at Pandora to try and hide his pain.

Trey was walking through the city. His face streaing with tears. he tried yet again to ind a way out of here. He was forced into a duel by one of these 'moderators'. Trey had no simple idea of what a Moderator was but he did know that these people were bad. He was beat by the 'moderator' and left for dead. But his Naturia monsters kept him alive. He some people talking and went over to them. Trey saw a boy, a woman, and a girl around the boy's age. Hi scar leg started to hurt. So he decided to talk to them. " Have you guys found a way outa heeah?( remember my guy is 5. so heeah is here)" Trey asked the girl sitting down next to her.

Pandora saw the kid out of the corner of her eye, and rushed over. "Are you alright?" She asked as she knelt down to his level. Itsu started to turn to the kid, but she whispered to Paradox. "We'll talk later." Itsu effortlessly picked the the tyke and said in a motherly tone. "Hi! My name is Itsu Solace, but you call me 'Izzy' for short. " She motioned to Pandora. "This is my daughter, Pandora..." Pandora bowed as she then motioned to Yami. "And this is our friend Yami." Itsu then saw the scar, and smiled. "Oh, dear! It looks like you have a pretty nasty boo-boo there! Would you like for Izzy to make you feel better?"

Trey laughed and giggled. This was the first time someone was nice to him here. " Why thank you Ms. Izzy. I'm Trey. Those mean people forced me to duel. When I lost they gave me a big boo-boo. but Im turning SIX next week. Right now I'm five." Trey said holding up five fingers. He then put on a more serious face. " You can talk to me about normal stuff you know. I may be five but I've been through theengs with these mean people." Trey said to itsu. He liked the way itsu was nice to him. He smiled at Yami and Pandora too.

Yami saw the little kid and was surprised by how small he was, not only that but he was scar(d) which he had never seen before. When Pandora introduced him to the boy he smiled to him and then laid down on the ground to get more comfortable under the guise of relaxing. Yami wondered if he had ever been that small, he remembered that he had been smaller than he is now but it was hard to believe he had ever been that tiny before.

Ace woke up from his sleep. He wonder how long he had been there. "Hey Red what do you think we should do first" Red began communicating to Ace through his mind and the two began to talk. "Well be should start buliding a shelter maybe. It's not like anyone is around." Ace began searching the area for tools. He got on his Duel Runner and started driving around searching. "I Wonder if anyone else is here" asked Ace. "It is very possible, we should look for someone and then get moving onward." Ace drove onward and saw a group of people helping a little kid. He began remembering his childhood. "You know Red, you were the first guy who was nice to me." Red smirked a little. "I'm you and you know that. So you were the first person nice to yourself." He noticed a another man watch from afar. "Guess were not alone" thought Ace.

Itsu smiled as her usual tactic worked. By emitting subtle, undetectable psychic suggestions of warmth and charisma, she was able to charm most people into accepting her, a total stranger, into their lives. It made her job a whole lot easier. Not even the most highly-skilled Psychic would be able to detect her slight suggestions, since they were so faint, yet so rapid-fire.

"Well, let's make you feel better, shall we?" She shifted her hold so she was resting his head on one arm and his legs on the other, carrying him a bit like a baby.

"Now, let Mrs. Izzy kiss those boo-boos to make them better. Don't you worry, you won't feel a thing!" She kissed Trey's arm and leg, secretly injecting medical nanites into his bloodstream. She then used her Psychic abilities to null the pain as the nanites did their work, mending his crippling condition as well as his wounds within a few minutes.

"There! Now you're all better!" She set him down, checking in on the progress of the nanites as they rewrote his genetic code to get rid of any deliberating genetic conditions he might have later in his life, like Alzheimer's.

"Now, you said that you knew how to duel? Would you happen to have a spare Duel Disk for Pandora? She doesn't have one."

Trey looked as his scars were gone. He was amazed. he set down his backpack.he gave her a pink duel disk that was too big for him. Trey was grateful to Ms. Izzy for healing him. " will this work Ms. Izzy?" Trey said in an Uppity little kid voice handing Itsu the duel disk. It had a cuple bumps but it still looked in working order. Trey found it on the the street shortly before being forced to duel by the moderator minion. The duel still gave Trey chills.

Ace noticed that the little kid's injury had been healed up. It was unusually quick for such an injury. what do you make of this Red thought Ace. Ace, let me take over for a moment, something's coming this way the two switched places and Ace's eyes turned red signaling Red was in control. A stange man pulled up on a duel runner. Red quickly got on his Duel runner and rode off and the man followed him. Is he one of the moderators we heard about asked Ace. Red remained quiet. "Speed World 2 set on" said Red. The man set his Speed world 2 on and they began.

Red looked at the man behind him and said "One turn, that's all I need."

"Draw" 6 cards in hand

"Set 3 cards face down and end my turn" said Red

"My turn draw' said the man

"Activate Face down card Bad reaction to Simochi" said Red

"No matter" said the man "Summon Vorse Raider in attack mode"

"Now I activate other to cards, both are Gift cards which increase your Life points by 3000. Since there are two that makes it 6000, but because of Bad Reaction to Simochi that changes it to you lose 6000 life points."

The man was shocked and his lifepoints hit Zero. His Duel runner exploded and Red continued driving. Are you sure that was a moderator asked Ace. no, he was too easy. Maybe a minion said Red. he continued driving along the road.

Pandora took the Duel Disk and attached it to her arm, then loaded her deck into the slot. Itsu placed her hand on the disk, and the dents and damage started to repair itself.

"Mom, what are you doing?"

"A little bit of a family secret. I will show you how to do this later."

Itsu then removed her hand, and the Duel Disk now looked as if it had just been built. "Thanks, Mom!" Pandora replied as she hugged her mother. She then noticed that Trey had a Duel Disk, and went over to him. "Trey, would you please duel me? I'm still learning, though, so would you go easy on me?"

Itsu then snuck over to Yami. "Come with me. We need to talk." She whispered in his ear.
