Itsu was shocked at how much more competent Trihsder was, and wondered if there was anything going on with his sudden burst in ability.

"So are you going to simply show off your shiny new monsters, or are you going to actually risk them in battle?"

 

Desna looked for the Barq's, but couldn't find anything. "Hime..." He started as he turned back around. "I don't see any Ba-"

Then he noticed that she was gone, and deactivated his Duel Disk as he sighed. "F**K!!!" He screamed out to the heavens before starting to run after the woman in hot pursuit.

"Actually, I will attack, but first, I will remove from play the three monsters in my Graveyard to destroy your monsters!"

Dark Armed Dragon charged at Itsu's dragons and hacked them to pieces.

"Now, Dark Armed Dragon, Dark Horus, attack her Life Points directly!"

The two monsters roared and closed in on the opposing Duel Runner.

Yami lead Pandora to the few card machines that were in the city and after getting a few dozen packs of cards they headed over to his rose garden. Okay after we open these packs we'll use the cards to make up your deck, I personally go with a twenty monster and ten Spell ten Trap Card deck but you'll need to decide what kind of deck you want to make. Yami showed Pandora how to open the packs and helped her select cards that would be good but for the most part he let her put the deck together herself.

Pandora looked over her deck, and got out a few more packs of cards from the vending machine, until she had a nice, 40-card deck with a couple of cards in the Extra Deck. "Alright, I think I'm ready to duel. So, how exactly does this work? Could you please go first to show me how to play? And could you also go easy on me? I noticed that you looked like you have been playing this game for a while."

 

Itsu flipped up her Trap Card. "Dimensional Prison!"

A vortex sucked in Dark Horus, but the attack from Dark Armed Dragon still made it through. (Itsu: 1200 LP)

Okay, but no Duel Disks I don't want to hurt you, Yami showed Pandora how to shuffle her deck and wrote down the basic rules to her and explained them so she could understand, next he told her to draw five cards. Okay do you think you have the basics down, if so you can go fist okay, Paradox didn't know what to expect from Pandora, she would probably not be very good but then again she might be a master already, he didn't really understand girls.

"I draw, and I Normal Summon White Magician Pikeru in Attack Mode!"

But, for some odd reason, an actual Pikeru, only a few inches tall, appeared out of a ring of light and landed on its card, ready to fight. (1200 ATK)

"Umm...is that supposed to happen?" Pandora asked, a bit confused. She looked down at the little magician, and the cute little girl looked back up, then smiled and waved.

Zack and Jack were in the middle of a duel. Zack had three monsters while Jack had Elemental Hero Jack, a newly upgraded version, it now had Necroshade in the fusion. Zack drew the card for his turn, now with five cards in his hand. Zack smirked at the card he drew. "I sacrifice my three monsters!" Zack declared as the three monsters turned into three orbs, one yellow, one blue, and the other red. They rose into the sky and dark thunder clouds appeared over The City. "When heavens twist and thunder roars! Signaling the coming of this ancient creature, and the dawn of true power! Come forth! Slifer the Sky Dragon!" Zack declared as long, red serpent like tail started flowing in the clouds. Slifer than came down from the thundering clouds.

I'm not sure this is the first time I've dueled without a Duel Disk and since we aren't using Life Points it shouldn't be a problem, Yami had never seen this before he had thought that it was the Duel Disk that made the monsters but now it looked like it was the cards, Maybe the duel disk only amplifies what the cards make happen, well do you have anything else for your turn. For some reason Yami felt her deck would be pretty interesting even though it was just throne together.

"In fact, I do. I-"

Pandora's interest was suddenly distracted by something approaching them in the sky.

"Yami, what is that?" Pandora asked about the dark clouds that were now spreading out across the white abyss of a sky. "Mom told me that, on other worlds, the sky is blue and was fluffy white things called 'clouds'. Are those clouds?"

Just as Pandora finished asking that, thunder erupted out of the stormy clouds and lightning bolts struck down onto the ground in the distance as a red serpentine being descended from the storm.

But Pandora wasn't paying attention to that.

She was curled up on the ground, her hands on her ears and tears streaming from her closed eyes, shell-shocked from the thunder crash, the first big supersonic event she had ever heard.

 

Itsu looked up as Trihsder finished his move to see the Egyptian God being deployed, and felt something was wrong.

Itsu pulled off of the street and started heading towards Pandora's location.

 

Desna had just started sucking on another lolipop as The City's first storm rolled out.

"Stupid f**king kids." He muttered.

After seeing Pandora's reaction Yami went over to her hand hugged her tightly trying to comfort her, It's okay, I've seen a few cards do something like this before and it won't be a problem you just need to calm down, take deep breaths. Even though Yami tried to calm Pandora down he had never seen a card make an effect this big, any card that made a seen like this was normally done in a few seconds but this one was still going strong, all Yami new was that he had to help Pandora calm down something inside him made him want to keep her safe.

After the first blow from Slifer, Zack and Jack stopped the duel. Jack didn't lose any Life Points thanks to Defense Draw. Zack and Jack were talking about the power of the Egyptian Gods. The awesome power and what would happen if someone collected them all. "Where did ya get Slifer anyway Zack?" Jack asked. "My parents were archeologists, they took me to these ancient ruins when I was younger. I went off alone and found this one spot. It looked like Egyptians were there but it was in a jungle, that's where I found Slifer and added him to my deck." Zack explained.

Itsu drew her card, desperate to get out of the lock she was in and finish off Trishder.

"I draw, and I Normal Summon Malefic Hope Dragon!"

There can only be 1 face-up "Malefic" monster on the field. Other monsters you control cannot attack. If there is no face-up Field Spell Card on the field, destroy this card. This card cannot be used as a Synchro Material Monster, except for the Synchro Summon of a "Malefic" Synchro Monster. Once per turn, during your Main Phase 1, you may remove 1 face-up "Malefic" monster on your side of the field from play to shuffle a number of Monster Cards into your Deck equal to or less than the Level of the "Malefic" monster removed from play. You cannot conduct your Battle Phase during the turn you activate this card's effect.

 

A cute little serpentine dragon started to fly alongside Itsu. (0 ATK)

"And now I will remove from play Tyrant Dragon in my Deck to Special Summon Malefic Tyrant Dragon!"

Once again, a card shot up into the air and entered a portal, allowing an armored red dragon to fly out. (2900 ATK)

"Now I will Tune Hope to my Tyrant Dragon!"

Hope squeaked, and turned into a single ring of white light, as opposed to the usual green, while Tyrant entered the ring, becoming a black outline with 8 black stars.

"Meus infinitus moestitia mos nunquam exsisto purgo! May meus ira attero totus quisnam sto in meus via! Synchro Voco! Meus mos no verus! Malefico Solaco Draco!"

 

Malefic Solace Dragon

1 "Malefic" Tuner + 1 "Malefic" non-Tuner Monster

When this monster is Special Summoned successfully, destroy all other card on the field. This card's effects cannot be chained or negated, except by "Malefic Atlas Dragon". Once per turn, you may destroy 1 card on the field. During your Standby Phase, if this monster is in your Graveyard after being Synchro Summoned successfully, you may Special Summon this monster from your Graveyard.

 

The array erupted, and a creature that essentially looked like what would happen if Itsu turned into one of her own cards flew out. The humanoid dragon had a draconic head with one golden eye and one blue eye, along with red tendrils flowing from the back like hair, and styled in the same style as Itsu's. Her body was very feminine, with two spiny, buxom breastplates, a thin waist, and thin limbs. Her tail was long and spiky, and ending in a blade. Her wings were unique in the fact that they resembled Itsu's trenchcoat, with three Shooting Star Dragon-esque spikes in each wing. The body was blood-red and pink with Malefic armor on it, and a glowing golden gem in between the breatsplates. (3700 ATK)

"Now my dragon will destroy all of your monsters! Solace Quantum Blast!"

Solace charged up a glowing sphere of white energy in her mouth, then fired it at Trihsder, which, upon impact, erupted into a massive wave of energy.

"Now, Solace, attack him directly! Malefic Judgement!"

The dragon lowered itself to look Trihsder in the eye, came back up, shook its head, and used its tendrils to swiftly turn Trihsder's Duel Runner into scrap metal. (Trishder: 0 LP)

"Have fun walking home!" Itsu cried out as she drove away. She then looked up at the now-Summoned Slifer, and took on a grim face of anxiety. Her dragon also growled in dissatisfaction.

Itsu pondered as she increased her speed.

 

Meanwhile, Pandora started to shiver out of fear. "Mom...Yami...someone...help me..." She softly whispered as she cuddled up against Yami for protection.

Its okay I'll protect you, Yami had become very attached to Pandora in the short time they had spent together he began to hold her tighter, he was naive so he didn't realize what was going on inside him. It's okay, nobody's going to hurt you its just a card, it won't hurt you and it will be gone in a little, it was at about that time that Zack had finished his duel and the sky began to return to normal.

Pandora eventually opened her eyes and wiped the teas away, then turned her head up to face Yami. She had also started up a kinship with the young man, and she was feeling things she had never felt before, like she was walking on air when she was around him, like they were meant to be together, like there was nothing in the world better than to be with him. She had heard her mother tell her stories about her father, Damian, and wondered is this was what love left like.

"Thank you, Yami." She replied as she got up to resume her dueling position. She sat back down in front of the table, but before Yami got up, she quickly leaned over and pecked him on the cheek.

Yami was glad that Pandora was doing better, and when she returned to her dueling position he thought they were going to continue the match when she suddenly pecked him on the cheek. Yami began to blush a deep red, it wasn't a bad experience for him actually he kind of like it, he had no idea what was going on in his head but he was at least enjoying it, Uh it still your turn. Yami smiled a little, even though this was a duel he was actually having fum.

Pandora looked over her hand, and set down a face-down card, then ended her turn.

 

Itsu continued to try to find Pandora, stopping by their current hideout to see if she was there, then patrolling around her usual hiding places, until she came across a broken windowsill.

"Oh no!" Itsu gasped as she motored over, only to find no sign of her daughter.

"Pandora?!?" Itsu cried out, going down the street relatively slowly. "Pandora?!?"

She eventually reached a street where two boys were dueling. "Excuse me, have you two seen a girl with long, silver hair around here?"

Yami looked at his cards then decided to play his Paradox Yin in face up Defense Position, This guy can't be destroyed by attacks, and now I'll send one light monster in my deck to the graveyard in order to summon Paradox Wing, now I'll have him attack your Pikeru. Like Pandora Yami's monsters appeared and Paradox Wing flew over and attacked her monster. Do you have any trap cards you can use.

Zack turned his head to Itsu "Yeah, I'm pretty sure she and someone else went in that direction." Zack stated, pointing in the direction he thought they saw them go in. Zack and Jack continued their conversation on the Egyptian Gods and how Zack got Slifer, but they talked too loud, loud enough to be heard on the other side of the building they were at. They then talked about dueling and good duel strategies and etc.

Pandora flipped up her Trap Card. "Waboku!"

 

Itsu bowed in thanks and drove off.

 

On the other side, Desna was trying to get some well-needed R&R, but the twin blabbermouths wouldn't be quiet. Eventually, he snapped, got out a very large gun, and went over to the duo. When he was several yards away, he pulled out a sidearm and fired it into the air to get their attention.

"Now, if you two don't shut up and/or leave, I will make you shut up and/or leave!

Nice move, you used that trap perfectly, well then what should I do next. Yami was kinda happy that she had been able to successfully protect her monster, he looked at his hand and set one card face down before activating his Field Spell, World of Paradox. With this if you normal summon a monster you can either pay five hundred life points to keep it on the field or return it to your deck to summon a monster of the opposite element and same level from your deck.

Zack and Jack slowly walked up to Desna. When they were about 10 feet away, Zack and Jack were about to activate their Duel Disks. If Desna was gonna make them shut up and/or leave, he'd have to make them shut up and/or leave through a duel. Zack and Jack activated their Duel Disks and drew five cards. "Who's gonna take the first move?" Jack asked with a smirk, looking at his hand.

Desna continued to hold the huge, shoulder-mounted gun on his shoulders. "Sorry, but playing childrens' card games is something I only do when all other weapons are ineffective, and frankly, you two look like the perfect subjects to test out my new ROCKET POD LAUNCHER on!!!"

 

Pandora nodded, then did her turn. "I draw, and I gain 400 Life Points from Pikeru."

Pikeru waved her wand, and a brief shimmering glow surrounded Pandora. (Pandora: 4400 LP)

"I will now Normal Summon G.B. Hunter in Defense Position, and keep her there by paying 500 Life Points."

A miniature cybernetic warrior with a black bodysuit knelt down on Pandora's side of the field. (2000 DEF) (Pandora: 3900 LP)

"I will set another face-down card and end my turn."

Yami drew his card then looked at his hand, Hm, I'll go with this combo, I'll summon Paradox Kuriboh, and now by World of Paradox's effect its returned to my deck and in his place Paradox Yang, now I'll tribute my Paradox Yin, and Paradox Yang in order to Special Summon Paradox Yin Yang Wyvern, now I'll have it destroy your G.B. Hunter, and finally I'll take out Pikura with my Paradox Wing. Yami realized that it was a pretty hardcore move but he also thought it was good for Pandora to experience a little stress, for some reason Yami felt really sad about being so aggressive against her.

"I activate A Rival Appears, chaining your Special Summon and allowing me to Special Summon Guardian Angel Joan from my hand!"

A beautiful red-haired angel descended down from on high and landed on Pandora's side of the field. (2800 ATK)

"Now I will flip over my face-down Karma Cut, discarding Athena to the Graveyard to remove your Wyvern from play!"

A swirling portal appeared, and the Wyvern disappeared.

However, Pikeru was destroyed, making Pandora lose some Life Points. But the attack actually seemed to hurt her. (Pandora: 3500 LP)
