Itsu was now a bit worried. Trihsder suddenly was CONFIDENT about winning. He was always unsure of victory, but now he seemed genuinely happy.

Something was wrong with this picture.

"Fine. I set a card and end my turn."

 

The woman's opponent, a young man in dark clothing and polarized sunglasses, dramatically took off his sunglasses and pulled a mystery-flavored Dum-Dum out of his coat.

"Because..." He started as he unwrapped the sucker. "I specifically asked you for a cold can of Barq's, and you got me some generic brand of crap that is trying to pass itself off as root beer!" The enraged young man replied as he stuck the now-unwrapped piece of candy in his mouth, the stick end sticking out like a cigarette. "Mmm...lemon."

He also brought out a Duel Disk that had a space theme on it and placed it on his arm.

"So, you ready to pay for pissing me off with this pissy drink?"

The buxom woman sighed as she rubber the bridge of her nose in frustration. "You know, I tried to find the drink. I honestly did. Only thing is that this world has nothing but generic food, drinks, clothes, and other things that don't exactly seem like they are what they are supposed to be. And there isn't any Barq's. It isn't my fault. Plus, this is like the 10th time you've asked someone to find Barq's, and you have dueled them into submission for not finding a drink that doesn't exist here! Just give it up, Desna! You won't be able to get your root beer here!"

IC: Jack and Zack dueled a Duel Spirit somehow. Once they exited they found a vending machine with some Barq's Root Beer. They got a couple and mounted their Duel Runner. After a while they still had their Root Beers half full. They then found another vending machine with some Cheese Burgers. They now had a pretty good meal......Near the other two, the Barq's in plain sight. Jack and Zack laughed like mad during their conversation.

Yami guided Pandora to the vending machine in the city with the best cheeseburgers which surprisingly was hidden behind a tree, Here it is, I found it by accident and was surprised to find out how good they are, which kind do you want their are five different kinds in it, my favorite is the bacon cheese burger. Yami was happy to be able to spend time with Pandora, and he felt better now that those two men were gone, Yami was still worried that they may have some weird plan for him and Pandora.

Pandora took a cheeseburger and examined it. "Hmm...what exactly is this? I see that it's some sort of ground-up domesticated animal muscle tissue with artificial and natural oils, a semisolid pasteurized animal byproduct, cooked grain and bacteria molded into a ovoid, then separated into two halves, and slices of several vegetables." She turned to Yami. "What do you do with this? I have seen other people eating similar items that come out of these dispensers, but I don't understand what their function is."

Well, you eat it, it makes it so your not hungry any more and it gives your body energy. Also it taste good, wait are you telling me you don't eat! Yami was surprised by what Pandora said, did she really not need to eat and if so what did she do instead of eating, Yami thought she was the coolest person he had ever met. If you don't eat and you don't duel how do you spend your days, I mean you can only work so hard in a garden.

Pandora cocked her head. "What's a 'day', what is 'eating', and what is 'dueling'?"

 

Desna smiled as he drew his cards. "I will go first, and I draw a card. Then, I will discard Satellite Laser Array to activate Cost Down, lowering the levels of my monsters by 2! Then I will Normal Summon Satellite Base in Defense Mode!"

The rocket attached onto the Launchpad Base blasted off into the non-sky, and, thousands of miles up, the rocket released its payload, a large cannon, before changing course to crash back down in Highway Infinity. (500 ATK)

Yami was surprised by what Pandora had said, people had called him dense in the past but she didn't even know what dueling was, is that even possible here were everything is dependent on duels. Well a day is twenty four hours, is using your mouth to take in what you need to live and dueling is well using your cards and equipment to battle other people in order to get their life points or defend yourself. Yami was amazed that Pandora had maid it so long without ever dueling.

Pandora was still confused. "What is an hour? Also, I'm living, and I don't need to eat, so how am I alive? Is it this stuff?" She poked at her breast again. "As I said before, Mom did say this other skin kept me alive and safe. Could my other-skin somehow feed me? And is it that thing where people use those circular thingies to summon those monsters? If that's what it's called, Mom must do that 'dueling' thing a lot, because she has a motorcycle and she goes out whenever one of the Hunters gets near. Maybe she's dueling the Hunters."

Maybe, and if its about motorcycles, I've got one, do you want to go see it. Yami kept getting more and more confused it was almost as if she wasn't alive but she had to be alive so does that mean she doesn't need food or anything, in that case wow that's convenient. AN hour is sixty minutes and a minute is sixty seconds, wait do you not have a concept of time, and if so how do you measure how much time has gone by. By this time Yami was thoroughly confused.

Mom taught me all sorts of arithmetic, like geometry, trigonometry, calculus, statistics, as well as how to read and write English. You know, the basics. But she never said anything about 'time'."

She looked at her cheeseburger, scrutinizing the piece of food. "Also, how did I do that analysis thing? I don't know how I was able to get those diagrams to pop up there." She put the burger down on a table, and pointed at something in the air next to the burger. "See? It points to the seeds and says 'ungerminated sesamum indicum seeds used for flavoring'."

Her eyes suddenly enlarged as the flavor of the cheeseburger kicked in.

"This is wonderful! I can't believe that I have missed out on this!" She promptly devoured the burger, then looked at the rest of the food in the vending machine, and gathered up one of each selection. Within a few minutes, she was carrying a massive stack of fast food.

Yami thought for a second then remembered he saw a vending machine that had card packs so he decided to show her and let her decided if she wanted a deck. I know were you can get some cards but I don't know if your mom will be happy about you learning, I don't know were you can get a Duel Disk though.

Another dark portal appeared, allowing an evil dragon to appear. (3000 ATK)

But yet ANOTHER dark portal erupted open, and an armored dark dragon roared out. (2800 ATK)

"And since I have exactly 3 DARK Monsters, I can now Special Summon Dark Armed Dragon from my hand!"
