Ok. I'm going to revive a dead thread.

 

This is the duelist kingdom tournament. People from miles around have come together to play card games. It's your job to create a duelist for the tournament.

 

Your duelist can duel people from the show and battle for star chips. I will be the named characters if you challenge them. Users can also duel each other. PLEASE no godmodding! Give each other a chance!

 

As soon as I say you're accepted, you can begin your journey.

A custom card you made that's in their deck: I have a whole custom deck to go with this card its not An Oped deck! Can i still use it?

IC: The line up to the boat was rediculous. Pegesus's video said only the best of the best would be coming but, he saw chumps he'd been beating since elementry school! "Well I guess every tournament needs some sacrifcial lambs." The line was down to a crawl. Every other minute security would pull someone outta line who was trying to sneak on board. The losers were sent packing and the line picked up. just as Recteik got on board he saw security grab another loser. But some little kid with spikey hair acually gave up one of his star chips to let him get on board! Recteik chulcked as he boarded, "Guess losers stick together."

Reason for joining the tournament: To duel other people.

Age - 15

Bio - Born in Canada, Joe grew up loving Duel Monsters. He played it every day with his friends. However, when Joe was 13, a fire killed his parents and little sister. Now, he duels with a purpose, in honor of his family. But he also bacame bitter and cold, and his soul was consumed by darkness.

Appearance (Pics are acceptable, but not needed. Otherwise a brief description) - Crew cut, wears a dark jacket and and gray sweatpants.

Reason for joining the tournament - Pegasus hired him to beat Yugi and kick him out of the tournament.

Joe saw the boat approaching as he stood on the boarding dock in the early morning. "The tournament's starting soon." he said to himself. He looked down at the paper in his hands. It was a drawing of Yugi Moto. "The kid who beat Seto Kaiba. Hmf. I remember when Kaiba beat ME. Dumb Runt." Joe had been at the island for a couple days, for he was a tough duelist, and was hired by Pegasus to defeat Yugi and steal his Millenium item. "Yugi," he said, "I will beat you."

Zack hurried as everyone got on the boat. "Damn it, I KNEW I shouldn't have been wasting my time reading when I should've been leaving!" Zack said to himself as he got on. As he sat down he heard a voice coming from his Deck. "Kuri! Kuri!" "Kuriboh, don't worry." He said, pulling out Change of Kuriboh. He put his card back and noticed some one very familiar... Yugi Motou! Thought Zack. And Jonouchi Katsuya, Anzu, Honda, and Bakura! I've seen them at school! Zack started to get tired, and eventually fell asleep.

Recteik was staning at the rear of the boat it was still in the harbor but it was filling up He had seen several Duelist who held respected titles. Tops on his list was Rex Raptor! the little freak used dino's and Recteik wanted to show him the true power of Dinosaurs. the line outside was getting shorter and the boat was getting fuller. "Attention! Attention! The ship will be departing in thirty minutes!" The anouncement ended. After an moments thought Recteik turned away and walked down a stairway deeper into the ship.

Zack was in a white void. "Hello? Hello? Hello? Hello?" He called as it echoed. "Why do you wonder if you are alone?" A voice filled the room. "I-I wasn't. Where am I?" "Does it matter? There is evil amuck 'Duelist Kingdom.'" "Whoop-de-doo. Can I get out of my subconscious now?" "Yes. You may leave. AWAKE!" Zack was awake. Most people seemed to be sleeping. Zack decided to try and sleep again. And... well... did.

Recteik was surprised how quiet the boat had become. Other than the roar of the engines and the endless pounding of the ocean it was relativly silent. Most everyone had gone to bed. Recteik never slept much and when he did he was rattle with horrific nightmares. As a result he didn't sleep much. It was peaceful and relaxing for now. He knew all hell was gonna break lose tomarrow. When a crewman walked by he asked,"Excuse me. Do you know when we will arrive a Duelist Kingdom?" He spoke with an odd accent,"Weh shud geet theer late toomarow mornin." It took Recteik a moment to decifer his odd accent. "So some time close to noon then. Thank you." "Dunt menion it." Recteik walked back to the railing and looked out at the sea,"Guess you'd call this the calm before the storm."

reason to join: To defeat everyone and win the prize money

Bio:a rude yet friendly person he is interested in all things virus. He loves to study things such as deadly diseases and sickness as simple as the common cold. He is quite close to his fellow duelists even those who are cruel to others. He likes to use his deck to infect other's decks and then pound them down with his monster cards. As a child he was abandoned by his parents and left on the streets to fend for himself. He was later sent to an orphanage after being caught stealing from the owner. He was there for almost 5 years when finally a rich young woman named Kira Matsui adopted him and taught him how to duel. 1 year later she died of an unknown disease which drove Daisuke to the verge of insanity. He would forever be obsessed with diseases and viruses which is soon what he built his deck around.

Joe took a walk through the forest. He looked around, taking in the scenery. "I need to find a good terrain field. Preferably Darkness." Joe spotted a cave. "A perfect place to stay and beat weaklings for these so-called 'Star Chips.'" Joe walked in seeing bats and bugs. A rat started climbing up his leg, which he kicked away. "Disgusting vermin....Huh?" He spotted a field already set up. "Well, that was easy. I'll just wait here, and look over my deck. No one can beat me!"
