Anime Card Layouts.

I've thought about this one, and I'm pretty sure it's necessary.

 

The layout of the card above, the anime layout.

We could have an option in the card maker to switch to anime layout, (near "unsorted, delete, undefined" there might be a place for layout switching.)

It should contain these details:

Card Type: (Fushion, Ritual, Effect, Synchro, Normal, Tuner, Union)

Attribute: (Light, Fire, Water, Wind, Earth, Divine, Dark)

Picture:

ATK: xxxx DEF: xxxx

 

And the good point, that it doesn't even need to be some kind of HDish to match the anime cards.

these look maybe useless now, but card makers can really enjoy making these, even Transform their original cards into anime cards, this will add a whole new view to the Yugioh Card Maker, why not?

No support I'm sure there are some shops in the shops section that already make these cards.

There is no reason for not adding that feature. and how's the dubbed version connected to this topic? And if you know how the shop owners make those cards then you can do it yourself anyway. So really theres no point in YCMaker adding in an anime card maker.

Anything that is not worth the maintenance, programming effort, and server strain it requires - in other words, anything that is not worth the cost - is harmful. So in that sense, yes, this would indeed hurt something.

 

Who cares if that's 4kids' layout?

There is no reason for not adding that feature.

 

There is exactly as much reason for adding that feature as there is for adding a Magic Card Maker' date=' a Pokemon Card Maker, or a My Monster Grow Maker. By the same logic, we should have all of those too.

The original anime uses the real-life card designs; it's only the 4Kids dub that uses those hideous excuses for cards.

I don't even see how anyone could have any fun with this for more than five seconds. You can't put any text on 4Kids-style cards, so all you have is a picture and maybe a pair of numbers if it's a monster. What's the point? There's nothing you can do with it. Not to mention that any five-year-old with MSPaint wouldn't need a generator to do something so simple.

I know, but that's alot easier, no need to save pictures to you drive and then browsing them, no need to edit the attributes, ATK, DEF.. same with normal cards.

Ilan, here's how a cost-benefit analysis works: you compare the costs to the benefits. Now, your daft suggestion has significant costs and no significant benefits, which is why it's a daft suggestion. Other suggestions have actual benefits to pay for their costs; you don't just reject everything out of hand on the basis that costs exist without looking at the benefits.

Magic Set Editor. There is an add on that you can download to make anime 4Kids cards. Google Magic Set Editor, and look around for a moment. Not too hard.

You realize, of course, that the way the site is, the card maker is... broken, because there are too many features putting strain on the site? Fix the card maker people actually use before suggesting YCMaker make a generator for something I could do with both hands tied behind my back.
