there's not much else that I can say, except to mention that I love the inheritance trilogy, have wanted to read tunnels, liked the spiderwick chronicles, have heard lots of good things about percy jackson, and that I have a brother who says he loves the hunger games. Other than that, I don't know many good books.

Oh, I know a few. Read elephant run, peak, or sasquatch, all by roland Smith. He writes a ton of good books.

Try reading some tom Clancy books, they are adult books, but they are good ones. Also, try reading some Artemis Fowl books, i recomend you start at the beginning, I started form the second, read the first, the the third and fourth and etc. They are all good books. I need to read the 6th and seventh book, though.

Also, I have read Maximum ride. It was the first series I read all the way through. I hated the ending, and yet, others still liked it. So go ahead and read it, but if you do, be prepared for the worst ending in the history of endings.

I don't know if they've already been mentioned, but here are some books I've read and - literally - changed my life in some points:

Hi there,

Discworld: Read it, loved it. Seriously, I think Terry Pratchett is the second most hilarious man in the history of literature. Imaginative from start to finish, with funny characters, funny dialogue and funny stories. A must read if you have anything for humorous literature. He's of course, only second in command... right after Walter Moers, writer of The 13 1/2 Lives of Captain Bluebear... while I don't know how famous he's outside of germany, if you have the chance to read one of his books (preferable the one I mentioned above), do it, noone I ever met regrets it.

Everything from Neil Gaiman: This guy is a genius. Period. Neverwhere, American Gods, his work with Terry Pratchett in Good Omens, Coraline and so on! Every single book is a must read for me, and I guess most of the people who've read them would agree. His writing style is... a little strange, I have to admit that, but it fits the books nontheless and makes them so unique.

Riverworld by Philip José Farmer is another series of books I highly recommend reading. Though it has its flaws (in my opinion) in overly detailed descriptions and a highly debatable ending, it's still full of ideas and imagination. Also it's something that will keep you entertained for a looooong time... because we're talking about approximately 2000 pages (well... in german that is, I guess in english it's a bit less)!

Stephen King, King of Horror (what a pun) is also someone not to forget on this list. The Stand is classic, frightening yet addicting as hell. His newest novel The Dome is also something I can recommend to anybody who likes horror stories, thrilling from start to finish. Though I disadvice to read The Black Tower... but that's just my personal opinion.

Did I forget anyone? Well, most likely... it all depends on the genre you would want to read. I'm, of course, a fan of Fantasy- and Horror-literature, therefor I read the stuff mentioned above. If you're looking for serious books, I won't be of any help, I don't read those...

So long,

Spoon
