Kōsuke Ueki
And I don't mean all of them, just the fan fic section. The only reason why the creator of a story from *INSERT TIME OVER A MONTH HERE* would end up posting *INSERT NUMBER AND NAME OF CHAPTERS HERE* to *INSERT STORY NAME HERE* is because they have been planning for a long time and need as much time as they need to in order to continue further. Bottom line, Necrobumping is pointless if someone needs more than a month to make one or more chapters. That makes things fair for everybody. If Necrobumping is used, than it's unfair to the creator that his/her thread gets locked by someone Necrobumping when he/she was just about to post a new chapter(s) Any followers speak now. Limited Edition KING
Authors are allowed to necrobump their own threads apparently.
-Berserker-
I think what he means is: Don't lock threads that have been necrobumped. It's somewhat common for fanfic threads to have some time span between posts...
Guest JoshIcy
PM Rinne.
Limited Edition KING
Well its still the authors responsibility to keep it active so it doesn't become a necrobump threat. Like he/she could post "Chapter is almost finished" which would make it so the necrobump won't happen.
Twig
So...You're asking for a rule that already there? If your thread gets locked because someone necrobumped it, you can just PM Rinne or make a new thread.
