Pokemon: The Isshu Region (IC Thread/ started/ accepting on ooc thread)

"If I have to," Amy replied, lifting Eevee off her shoulder. The small Pokemon whined a little, but that was the extent of her objection. It stepped forward timidly, looking over at the Charmander briefly, noticeably edging away from the fire lizard's tail. "Ready, Eevee?" she asked, her Pokemon giving a small chirp. Neither she nor Eevee were overly fond of battling, but they had no choice here. It was either fighting or...probably something worse than the rest of the things that happened to her today.

"Charmander, use Ember on Kororomi!" The small fire lizard opened it's small mouth wide. Small red fireballs shot from it's mouth, which hurt the Kororomi. "Kororomi, use Wing Attack!" ordered the grunt controlling the Kororomi. It headed toward the Charmander, and struck it hard with it's wing. The Charmander was hit, and it's HP lowered. Leonard wished he could go back home, but then he remembered Ingwe. "I will kill you all!" yelled Leonard, out of control.

"The Zubat's all yours, Eevee!" Amy told her. "Use Quick Attack!" Eevee nodded, managing to look determined as it charged towards the fluttering bat, darting to the sides before jumping up at the hovering Zubat.

 

"Zubat, Screech!" the grunt commanded coldly. The Zubat let out a piercing screech and Eevee whined, recoiling her body in mid-air, and reducing the momentum of the collison. The Zubat regained its flying height in no time. "Leech Life," the grunt ordered as Eevee landed.

 

The Zubat darted forward, readying its fangs to strike the disoriented quadruped.

Joey sees the video feed from Desna Adats and he says ticked off "Some Birthday this turned out to be, Team rocket Takes Out Hiun City and now they're trying to turn us against each other so we're easier to knock out."

 

His dad, John says to reasure him "But they're wrong about all the world's militaries being occupied, There is still Fiore, Almnia, Oblivia, and The Sinnie Regions they haven't even touched by team rocket! But the Go-Rock squad has a pretty tight grip on Fiore, and Team Dim Sun has Almnia, but there are still two regions who can help us out!"

 

That gets Joey's hopes up and he says beeming with energy "YEAH!!! We still have a chance against Team Rocket!"

After the comversation with Eko and Brian, James wondered around Furrity Island hoping for a Startegy, he stared around at different angels and saw it was clear to notice when Team Rocket will attack, he also stared out into the Ocean to gase at the many Wild Pokemon peacefuly enjoying their day....When suddenly, it hit him like a bolt, he thought of a way that could give Team Rocket a great crusade for control. But then, he was the only Elite Four present in Furrity Island, he wondered what happened to Kai and Luna, he knew he shouldn't of left Tonaka Town. James turned around to his Magnezone, who he decided to let out for that day, he held his pokeball and said,"I guess you need rest Magnezone, you did great return."James happily returned as he stared at the Ocean thinking of another advantage.

Brian saw James sitting down by the ocean. He walked up and sat down next to him. "Beautiful, isn't it," Brian began. "To bad Team Rocket had to come along and ruin the pristine beauty of this place. This island used to be a place of resort and relaxation... now it's an island full of scared people not knowing what's going on with their families. My sister e-mailed me right before I left saying that she was ok... and that she had to stay and help the citizens of Huin City. She's always been that way, always willing to put others before herself. Her and her pokemon work together as one and I hope they'll be safe."

"There is a chance that your Sister had escaped and is in the sewers now,"James replied in sorrow,"I wonder how they are, some have reached here, what a great Sister you have, risking her life in a camp where the person has to stay in the area, to save others who won't have to be trapped there."James realised as he began talking about his family,"I was in Sinnoh, until I moved here in Isshu, my family had contacted me...Until this month and now I know why, because Team Rocket invaded all of Sinnoh,"James explained."However, I didn't understand how Kanto was invaded since Team Rocket started there, but I understood Huin....There wasn't much Trainers or Millitary there to protect the people, the buildings were high, so Team Rocket could launch an sneak attack...But now in Furrity has changed, we can see if Team Rocket attacks from a mile away, we have enough Trainers to destroy a third of their Helicopters before they reach Furrity Island and..."James figured as he paused, he thought he might be wrong at some parts of his explanation and he couldn't think of another advantage to back him up.

Brian sighed. "It seems like it's all one big disaster after another." Brian let Torterra out of his pokeball. "When we were younger, my sister and I were always hanging out together. She's actually the one that gave me Turtwig. She had a chance to have him, but she gave him to me. And so I trained my Turtwig to get her the pokemon that she deserves. I caught her a female Nidoran and bought her a Moon Stone. When I have it to her, she was so happy. She trained night and day with that pokemon. And when it finally evolved, she used her Moon Stone to evolve it into a Nidoqueen. Her and that pokemon have been through so much and nothing could seperate those two... not even this war."

"An interesting story,"James agreed,"Her Nidoqueen would be a great help to us all in Furrity Island, too bad Team Rocket ruined her chance at Huin City, if only we knew Team Rocket was going to attack Huin City,"James also signed."With the Cities fighting each other about what City Team Rocket should invade, we should all unite, rebel against Team Rocket,"James comfessed as he wondered,"With this great problem, what are our Allies doing about this ? Won't the Wild Pokemon be upset about losing their homes ? Could this break out another World War ?"James wondered as he sounded stuipid to think about World Wars in this time...Then it struck him,"....That's it, Team Rocket, might cause a Civil War between us all, but am I wrong, I hope im wrong."

"It certainly sounds like something they would do," said Brian. "Once we all start bickering with each other, that would lower our defenses enough for Team Rocket to break us down and another one of our precious cities." Brian was getting irritated. "Great, now we have more questions than answers. This is getting us nowhere." Just then Brian's cell phone rang. "Yeah, Brian here," he talked into the phone. "That's great news. Is she feeling up to it though? Well, you have my ok, get a chopper ready and send her on out here." Brian hung up the phone and looked to James. "That was my gym's 2nd in command. Valerie, the Huin City Gym Leader is up and she's being flown out to the island."

"That's great."James nodded as he looked around,"Yep, your right about saying our problems won't get us anywhere or stop Team Rocket."James agreed,"Soon the people evacuating Samsura City will return to Furrity Island...But Furrity Island can't fit all of Isshu on it."James admitted as he lowered his head,"Now we need another safe place for the innocent to be put when Team Rocket commit their next poll,"James figured as he was stumped again.

"You're right," commented Brian. "We have to pick out a place where nobody ever goes and where Team Rocket won't find... or will take forever to find. There just has to be such a place." Brian heard a noise and turned around. The chopper from Samsura City had arrived and out popped Valerie eager and ready to go. I looked at James with a smile that said "One more to had to our group". I got up on my feet to welcome her.

Luna's eyes flickered. She was falling. She looked up. A dark cloud of smoke was rising. It dissapated as fast as it appeared when it hit her. To her side was a farmilliar Aerodactyl, with Kai on it, and a Flygon? She had never seen Kai use a Flygon before.

Her eyes closed for a second. She opened them. Adrenaline started pumping through her blood. She checked her body. She had six pokemon, five in her belt, and one in her hand. Togekiss. Also on her belt was her phone. It was ringing. She opened it. It was a text from James. Then she stopped. "What am I doing?" she mumbled to herself. She dropped both her cellphone and the pokeball in her hand. Togekiss flew out, loyal as ever. She knew that Togekiss couldn't catch her right away, but it comforted her that she had help.

Eko walked over to Valerie, James and Brian. " I have arranged a meeting for us gym leaders and elites. Will you all come with me to the main building?" Eko asked them pointing to the main building. The Island was getting crouded he couldn't keep all of Isshu under his wing. Soon he would have to begin to deny people acsess to the Island. Mainly becase the camp was begining to fill with Desser, Hiun and Samsura city fugitives.

Meanwhile, in Hiun City, the moon was rising as the last of the populace was rounded up. Large cargo ships with Team Rocket's emblem started to dock at the harbor as their escort fleet joined the rest of the naval blockade, strengthening the defensive line. All the Hiun military could do is watch in despair.

Up in the former Isshu News Network (INN) building, three people were talking in a luxurious conference room.

"We have 36 hours until the polls are complete. So far, they want us to take Deser City north of here. The military is coordinating with this region's Gym leaders to plan a defense against the city."

"So, what should we do until then, sir?"

"Get the nanocores in place to rebuld the city. I trust that the internment camps are secure?"

"Yes, sir. We are rounding up the last of the citizens as we speak. The city is vacant and we are preparing for Phase III."

"The re-education centers should be fully operational within 24 hours."

"Good. I want you two to start expanding our sphere of influence. Asroc, take a battalion and go north. I want that desert ready for strip-mining by the time the polls close."

"Yes, sir."

"Strela, go across that bridge and secure the other side, then insert yourself into the general public. We have reports of a pair of Trainers that might have escaped through the sewers. Find them."

"With pleasure, sir."

"I will be in Hiun for the announcement of the poll results to show them what we plan to do to their beloved metropolis."

Desna suddenly flicked and faded, and the lights came on, revealing that it was a hologram. The Rocket Executives went off to do their newly-assigned tasks.

Brian walked with the other gym leaders and elite 4 to the meeting building. A female Nidoran ran up to Brian crying. He picked it up and made it stop crying. A few seconds later, a little girl came up and said that it was her Nidoran and thanked me. I told her that it was my pleasure. We continued onward while Brian thought about his sister. As they continued walking, Brian continued to see small groups of kids with their pokemon. It reminded him of his childhood so much. The four of them arrived at their "meeting place".

Eko led them to chairs and he sat at one. His vapotter came over and purred at him. He laughed and patted it on the head. He turned to his fellow comrades and his face turned grim. " As you know our region is under attack. I would like to remind and discuss with that my island can only hold so many people. Furrity island will also at one time be taken over too. So what are you going to do about?' Eko said addresing them all in a African accent. His hand on his vapotter's head.

"Personally, I don't think we should be making these life threatning decisions without the other leaders and elite 4 present," said Brian. "I think our first priority is to have a meeting of the 12 of us to try and have some sort of strategy. Being that we are 12 skillful pokemon trainers that each use a specific type of pokemon, I think we should plan and map out what we need to do... and that includes what to do with the extra people on Furrity Island. But, until we are able to get all 8 Gym Leaders and the 4 Elite 4 Members together, I think we should be training our pokemon to make sure that they are ready to take on Team Rocket."

Kai stared at Luna with a smiling face. " Hey are you alright Kiddo, you and Togekiss both took a nasty fall, i am glad Flygon was able to get to you guys in time. This is so weird out of the blue team rocket launchs an attack like this. I tought team rocket was defeated long ago, but it seems they have rebuilt and it looks like they mean business. "Luna lets get to some place safe where we can talk." Kai pointed to the ground by a near by cleaing, as he did Aerodactyl flew towards the area with flygon and Luna right by his side. " I wounder how far has team rocket gone, i tried to call olivine city in the johto regioh, but i still havent gotten any respond from.... aww never mind." Kai was twisting a ring on his finger, he tryed to remain calm and relax, but a clear look of frustration was on his face, he was worryed but he tryed to remain strong in front of Luna. " So Luna any idea on whay our next move should be " Flygon let out a soothing cry, in an attempt to relive Kai. " It's ok girl theres no need to worry about me " Kai says to his Flygon, but it wasclear he was lying.

"I agree with your idea Brian,"James admitted,"In my opinion I think we could send the next evacuated people to Tonaka Town, however, since our startegies will be dicussed here, we couldn't protect Tonaka when Team Rocket attacks......"James paused as he clearly needed to think of a better place."Fiore, Almia and Oblivia is still protected for now and the Top Rangers have advanced Stylers to befriend even the controled Pokemon, am I wrong...However, there is still a problem with that, all the other regions discovered are far away from Isshu and even the fugitives could be Team Rocket spies that could send Team Rocket to attack in the Ranger Regions."James knew,"I can phone Kai and Luna now if you want, actully since that incident on the news I'll voicemail them...I don't have the Gym Leaders who aren't here's Phone Number,"James explained as he grabbed his phone and recored his Voicemail,"Luna ! Kai ! It's me, James ! We need you at Furrity Island when you've done what you're doing."

Eko considered this. he could activate the Island's ancient defense system. He stood up and went to his computer that still had the poll up. " What should we do about this? If we don't answer anyone could vote for Furrity Island. if that happens then all the fugitives will be caught. Anyways James when luna and Kai get here I want you three to take groups of people into the forest to Train. Brian i want you to come with me. I have something to do. I need someone's help too with this very important job." EKo said to them.

"Very well," said Brian. "I'm just glad that we finally have a plan to move towards something. Not just, let's beat Team Rocket. Now we have steps to take us there." Brian pulled out his laptop and put the webcam on to record a message. "Gym Leaders, as you all know, Team Rocket has been destroying the peace and harmony that we know and love in the Isshu Region," Brian began. "Once you get this, make arrangements to get out to Furrity Island as fast as you can. This will be the meeting place of all the Gym Leaders and Elite 4 members as well. Already we have me, James, Eko, and Valerie."

Eko lead Brian to the forest. This forest unlike the one near th beach was completley overgrown. It had vines streaming down trees and onto the ground. Insect and Grass type pokemon roamed about. Eko lead Brian through Dense jungle until they came to a opening, a clearing that was kept tame. Eko then turned to Brian. " i believe you heard of the jungle relic of Fiore? Well this jungle relic has an underground spring. In a deep chamber is a room encased in pure chyrstallic ice. Thatr is where the island's defense mechanism is. It is the legendary pokemon suicune." eko0 said to him.

Brian was amazed at the island's forest. He kept thinking that his pokemon would love it here. Next thing Brian knew, Eko was telling him about Suicune. No wonder it was rarely seen in Johto. "That's amazing," said Brian. "So what are we going to do with Suicune. Plus, how do we know that the legendary pokemon won't run off when it hears us or even spots us?" Brian looked into Eko's eyes and tried to probe his mind for answers. He was hoping that once he answered, he could tell if his answers were true or false by looking into his eyes.

James walked outside after Brian and Eko left, he noticed a few people from Deser City and Huin City finaly arriving through the sewers, they were dressed like they were poor, but that could of been the fact they traveled through the sewers,"Welcome to Furrity Island."James greeted,"I am James of the Elite Four, Eko the Gym Leader has given you some Cottages for you to live in...If you wanted to talk with Eko, you cannot now because hes with Brian the Gym Leader of Samsura City."

 

"Your the person on the News,"One of the Huin City Fugitives exclaimed."You saved Deser City and you arranged people from there to rescue people from Samsura City, they are comming in Plane, they will arrive Tommorow sometime...Anyway onto topic, Team Rocket Grunts ambushed the people from the back area of the sewers, those unluckly ones."

 

"Steelix come out !!!"I shouted as Steelix appeared, I walked towards Steeliz and attached an camera tracker,"Now I can see what Steelix is doing in the sewers and I can command the attacks without getting shot."James explained,"Steelix charge through the sewers and guide the people !!!"
