Pokemon: The Isshu Region (IC Thread/ started/ accepting on ooc thread)

Brian and Valerie arrived back in his hometown a few hours later. Gym Trainers greeted them and Brian told them to get a stretcher and put her in a gym suite. Brian walked into his gym and walked behind the front desk and into the elevator. He took it to the top floor, his office. He needed to get a hold of someone, somewhere, fast.

"This is Brian, Gym Leader of Samsura City," he said. "Looking for a status update from any and all with something to report. Standing by."

Amy rubbed her wrists and arms when untied and stared at Ingwe. "But...what are they doing?" she demanded, awed. Why would they take over that city of all cities and once they had escaped what would they do? She had so many questions, but knew she couldn't get answers for everything.

 

"The sewer system?" she repeated, feeling queasy at the thought. She hugged her Eevee closer, the small Pokemon finally retracting her claws.

Luna picked up her cellphone, "This is Luna of Elite four, I am approaching Kuin city, and seeing massive resistance from Team Rocket. I might be able to get in, but it'll be tricky. Kai is right behind me. Over."

 

"Come on Togekiss," Luna urged "Extremespeed." And she held on for dear life.

"What Team Rocket is doing is a fivefold plan." Ingwe explained as she started fiddling with the van. "The first phase is the sneak attack, invasion, and lockdown, which we just witnessed. The second phase is rounding up all of the citizens and placing the ordinary ones in internment camps while holding any important authority figures, like city officials or Gym Leaders, hostage. The third phase, which will occur in a few days, is when the re-education centers are complete. The citizens fit to be Grunts will be brainwashed, then given new, cloned Pokemon and sent out among the rest of Team Rocket's forces. The fourth phase is to annihilate all resistance in the city. The final phase is to use the remaining populace, the young and elderly, as slaves to build a new factory-city out of the old city."

By the time Ingwe was done, they had reached the sewer entrance.

"You two ready?"

"I sure am ready. Thank you so much, Ingwe. Won't you come with us?" Leonard pleaded. "We could use some help, and neither of us knows the way down through the sewer." Leonard was hoping the answer was yes, since they would probably be down there for a while. Leonard was already halfway down through the sewer entrance, and stopped again to look at the two. This journey was going to be dangerous, and Leonard wanted to just go home, but he couldn't. He had to press on. He would come to the Hiun City gym later. He whispered a "Come On!" to the two ladies, and slipped down the sewer entrance.

"Ready as I'm ever going to be," Amy sighed, holding Eevee close. The cute Pokemon cuddled against her, clearly having no intention of stopping in the foreseeable future. After the hellish ride and an awful journey ahead just to be able to continue the journey, Amy was not exactly in a very cheerful mood.

 

She glanced at Ingwe uncertainly, unsure how the Rocket resister would handle Leonard's question. At the same time, she started to follow after Leonard, Eevee squeaking once.

As James approached Huin City on his Jet, while his Magnezone was flying nearby, suddenly the Jet stopped,"What i going on !!!"James shouted as he ran towards the Pilot who was the only person, besides James who was on the Jet,"How has the Jet stopped ?"James questioned to the Pilot as he shouted to his Magnezone outside."Magnezone come here,"

 

"I am unsure,"The Pilot sank as he stared at James,"I guess we will have to leave it to crash, we will escape on your Magnezone."The Pilot remembered as he opened a door in the front that sucked them out the Private Jet.

 

"Magnezone,"James called out hoping his Magnezone was nearby, then he looked in his bag for a whistle that calls his Pokemon back, as James blew it, a dot emerged, that became a blob...That became Magnezone,"Magnezone."James said with relief as he just grabbed the left part of Magnezone, while the Pilot grabbed the right,"Magnezone lower us to the ground we are near to Huin City."

Eko was by the sewer entrance by Furrity Forest at the edge of the Island. This seweer had direct access to Hiun city and the center of Team Rocket's attacks. " GO HYDROTTER!" Eko said throwing a pokeball into the sewer. " Hydrotter go help the people in the sewer." Eko said petting his partner who purred in response. The otter started swimming.

 

Hydrotter kept on swimming through the muck to hopefully reach Leonard and Company. It started swimming faster with motivation.

"No." Ingwe shook her head. "I'm going to stay behind and distract the Rockets in the sewers. Sure, I'll most likely die, but at least I will be freeing you two from this horrid mess." Ingwe shoved them into the sewers, and locked the grate behind them as a Team Rocket van came by, then stopped when they saw the wrecked van.

"Go!" Ingwe whispered when several Grunts started to come over to them.

"What are you doing here?!?" One of the Grunts asked.

"This." Ingwe coily replied as she pulled out a bomb from her jacket.

The bomb went off, causing all of the Rocket Grunts in the sewers to leave in fear.

As per Ingwe's instruction, Amy picked up her pace, grabbing Leonard by the arm and tugging him further ahead as well. That's when a sudden explosion rocked the sewer. Eevee, which had finally perched on her shoulder, squeaked in terror and dug her claws into Amy's shoulder. "Ow, ow, ow, ow..." Amy gasped, scrunching her face in pain. She glanced back at the sewer entrance, but could see nothing but smoke from the area of the grate. For some reason, she remembered Ingwe's casual remark about the probability of her own death in her plan. A dark shiver ran down her spine as she thought about what the woman had been through.

 

"Was it worth it?" she wondered to herself.

Edward found camp in the middle of a forest. He stopped and pulled out a sleeping bag and made a fire.

 

He pulled a can of soup and cooked it, he pulled out a bowl and filled it with pokefood. He got out his pokeball and let Squirtle out.

 

In a flash, his squirtle stretched. His shell was littered with cracks and scars, he had a large one over his left eye.

 

He walked over to his bowl of food and started eating. Edward checked his can of soup and found that it was finished cooking. He took it and started to dig in with a biodegradable fork. When they were done eating, they headed for a nearby river and took a bath there. The cold water didn't phase him.

As James ran towards the crash site to check his Jet,"Seems to be that a bullet hit my Private Jet, but how ?"James wondered as he finished analysing, as he looked at the Pilot,"Do you know what that bullet is ?"James again questioned as he Pilot picked it up and skimmed through it.

 

"Seems to be an bullet designed around now, used to damage electrical parts...That explains for the Jet suddenly stopping,"The Pilot answered.

 

"That's it,"James figured an solution,"A Rocket Grunt must have saw my Magnezone, so the person fired this hoping it would hit Magnezone, however, Magnezone avioded it then it hit the Jet...We must evacuate the people of Isshu, im giving up on the adventure to Huin City, I'll go to Deser City insted and one by one move the Citensans to safety."

 

"Ok, I'll call for repairs and you do what you wanted to do, I'll have to call you when it's finished."the Pilot replied as I started to walk away,"About your Solution, it's possible correct, but theres a high chance of it being incorrect."

Hydrotter heard the explosion and rushed even faster. He whimpered when he felt the ripples from the resulting sonic-boom. he used aqua jet to travel faster in the water. He then saw two people and a Eevee wandering through the muck. He swam over to them and gestured to them signaling that he wanted them to follow him. He purred a couple times to add to this effect and then signaled once more this time with more motion.

Bullets whizzed by Luna, Togekiss making the entire world blur in front of her. Then an explosion appeared right in front of her. Nothing could stop Togekiss at this point from flying into the inferno. Red screamed in front of her eyes, before fading into an almost foreboding black.

Luna didn't know it, but seconds later, she was plummeting to the ground.

Kai who was riding on his Aerodactyl was trying to keep up with Luna, but her Togekiss was using extremespeed. " Come on Aerodactyl we have to hurry, what the......" Kai suddenly saw Luna falling from a black cloud with no Togekiss in sight. " Aerodactyl double time " Aerodactyl dived and tryed to reach Luna, but it was no good, Luna was to far away to reach. " Wait i got it, Aerodactyl use steel wing quick" Kai tossed a pokeball from his belt, and as soon as the ball left his hand Aerodactyl's steel covered wings slaped the ball, like a baseball against a baseball bat down towards Luna direction with a great speed. " Flygon go and grab Luna " the soaring pokeball opened and revealed Kai's Flygon, She continued to soar down towards Luna's direction, and was almost in Lunas reach.

Brian sat quietly at his desk, waiting for someone to tell him something. Valerie was sleeping just a few floors below, there was still no word from the missing people. He felt useless, but he knew that he was better off being at the gym. He didn't like it, but he accepted it. He decided to surf teh web to get the latest info in the pokemon world. That's when he saw that a news team was recording Luna falling from Togekiss and Kai trying to save her. Brian became even more furious by the moment. He got on the phone to the ICU and asked how Valerie was. He hung up with more questions than answers. That's when he decided to call Kai, to find out if there was anything he wanted done.

James soon arrived to Deser City to see it is still in one piece, as he walked around the crowd gathered around him, like he was the only hope for the future for Deser City."As you all know Huin City was and still is invaded by Team Rocket...I shall evacuate you all, we must get to Furrity Island, to safty, however, traveling all on foot with the other Towns and Cities will be tough, therefore I have a plan."James started to explain as the crowd chanted in relief,"Quiet please,"James silenced as he pointed at 20 people in the crowd,"You will go through city to city getting people to go to Furrity Island,"James instructed as he pointed out 50 people,"You will go with me on my Jet to Furrity Island, im sorry but that's as much as can fit on my small Jet."James explained with guilt as he said the final stage of the plan."The others will travel in a tunnel that was known as the Deser Tunnel, that leads into some sewers that will lead into Furrity Island."James ended as he felt guilty then he gased into the sky, he saw a Black helicopter that had an red R on it,"Magnezone use Zap Cannon !!!"James commanded as Magnezone who was next to him shot a Ball of powerful Thunder into the helicopter as it exploded, the crowd sort of cheered.

 

A few hours later James looked around Deser City to find that most of the Thousands of people thought his plan was a decent one and followed it, he lead his 50 people into his Jet that was quickly fixed....He was heading to Furrity Island.

Eko saw the Jet land on his Island and went over to it. He greeted James. " Hello. Welcome to Furrity island. I am it's Gym leader Eko Tunde. We have arranged Cottages for you to stay in. Please enjoy your self. Also i am willing to take gym challenges." Eko said to james and his people. He pointed to the town and off to the west of it was a huge clearing with many Tents and cottages for the Hiun and Desser city occupants. Next to Eko was Vapotter and Starmie signfying that this was a water gym.

Brian got an e-mail from the pokemon center of Furrity Island. The e-mail was from his sister. She had been living in Huin City and that's why Brian's mind had been sidetracked. Once he heard that his sister was on the island, he told his pokemon that they were going on a road trip. Then he told his staff to close down the gym for a week and if need be, use it as a shelter if Team Rocket comes to Samsura City. He hopped into his helicopter and took off for Furrity Island.

"Thanks Eko,"James smiled to Eko,"As you might know from the news, im James of the Elite Four, it is great that you have done such work to save the future of Isshu, it will take Team Rocket some time to get to Furrity Island...But still we have to all stop Team Rocket somehow, once we have all united here, we will all devise a strategy against Team Rocket, there is great danger, since Team Rocket has used Advanced Weapons though, the new Leader took Team Rocket to the top,"James said as he wondered where Luna and Kai is,"By any chance, do you know where Luna and Kai is ?"James questioned.

" i believe I saw a man on a Aerodactyl. I was watching the news when she was trying to catch a girl who was falling. dDo you know this man?" Eko asked James in a very high african accent. He remembered seeing a man flying around Hiun city on her pokemon. As he recalled from the news this Kai man was trying to save a falling girl. Yet Eko did not know what became of the two because he had to set up the camp for the survivors.

Suddenly, all of the televisions and computers across the Isshu region suddenly changed to show Desna Adats.

"Greetings, people of the Isshu Region. I am Desna Adats, leader of Team Rocket. As you have probably heard, we have captured Hiun City, and are planning on preparing it for conversion. Now, I have an important task for you all. Due to the unique geography of this region, I cannot simply advance from one town or city to the next. Therefore, I am asking you all to do my decision-making for me. I will be sending every cell phone and computer in the Isshu region a poll. This poll will have all of the other towns and cities in the Isshu region on it. Simply vote for the town or city you wish. Whichever city or town gets the highest number of votes will be invaded next. You have 48 hours until we invade that selected town or city. Thank you."

At that point, the televisions, cell phones, and computers all had a timer in the lower-right-hand corner displaying the time until the poll closed, and everyone recieved the poll, which would not delete itself until the poll was answered.

"Hmmm.....I think Kai had an Aerodactyl,"James remembered,"But........Something strange about what the news explained,"James thought,"But Kai is male, so it could be that the reporter saw something else or could be slightly wrong...Luna and Kai must of stopped their Pokemon Battle to be following me, Im stumped anyway, well I hope their not ingured I'll text them,"James guessed as he grabbed his mobile phone and texted a message to Kai and Luna explaining about his adventure to rescue the people who were trapped the people in Huin failed so he evacuated the people of Deser City, then adventured to Furrity Island and found out that most of the people of Huin City were rescued anyway.Then he stuipidly turned to see Brian,"Hello Brian good to see you at this time of danger, I don't know but we must do something about this...Since Deser City is empty maybe we could buy sometime by voting there, so we could gain the millitary from around the world to stop them."

After a long ride, Brian landed his helicopter on Furrity Island. He stepped out and saw Eko and James standing around talking. He looked around the island to see panic everywhere. Nobody knew what exactly was going on in the city, and some of the islanders had some family in the city that all they could do was wonder about. He walked up to them and flashed his gym leader id. "Brian here from Samsura City. What can I do to help?"

Leonard looked back, thinking about the many things Ingwe had done for him today. He felt upset, and thought that it should be him bombing himself for the two ladies. He was dragged deeper in the tunnel be Amy, then had her let go of his arm, so that he could actually run. In the way were 2 Rocket Grunts, which opened their Poke-Balls to release Zubat and Kororomi. Leonard reached fora Poke-Ball as well, and released a Charmander. "Aren't you going to help?" He turned around an said to Amy.
