Yu-Gi-Oh!: Flames of the Duel [Started/Accepting via OOC]

The White Wolf

Recommended Posts

Hime whipped out the Duel Disk she had on her arm, and prepared to duel.

Hime: 4000 LP

Blues: 4000 LP

"I draw, and I play-"

Hime was about to do something, but then she noticed someone attacking Leo, and she quickly told Blues "Game called on account of humans." and she leapt from the building down in between Malefis and Kryos. A scantily-clad woman appeared ninja-style in front of Kryos and whacked him upside the head with her...boomerang?

"Malefis!" Hime cried out. "You get our prisoner to safety! I will deal with the interloper!"

"Did you?" Malefis taunted, taking a moment to observe the spirits' actions with a nonplussed expression. What the hell were they- she grunted as the stone smashed into her torso with surprising force, easily knocking the wind from her, yet her armor remained strong. Pain shot through her stomach, yet she laughed, her tail lashing with glee.

"Nice hit, scum," she snickered, her eyes focusing on the charging Kryos. However, she didn't wait to give him the chance to do anything before she took to the sky, ascending far beyond his grasp. "Humans don't fly, do they?" she mocked. "It would be tragic if this one decided to learn," she continued, dangling Leo a little to get the message across without genuinely risking the human falling or something swiping it from her.

Blues looked over to the action of the one who was supposed to be his opponent, Hm, I can't tell what side she's on but in case she's on the other side I need to take care of her or at least figure her out. Blues felt that there would be no need to interfere, no matter what the human did Malefic could simply fly away it made him think that Hime had simply used it as an excuse to get out of their duel.

OOC: Trimage, I just disabled her wings... I think.

He winced as the boomerang struck his head. Kryos staggered backwards and thought desperately, No... No! I can't fail! He closed his eyes and threw out a random card from his deck. I hope... He opened his eyes and his spirits lifted. (Literally, not Duel Spirits) "Crimson Beast MKIII - Devastating Hydra, get her!" (Revenge!) The dragon whipped an enormous wing, the size of a small shack, but with the force of a falling boulder towards Hime. Then, as he issued the attack, he continued running towards Malefis, with a small limp.

"Darn it! I was hoping to get away using this... but I need it now!" Enormous red flames erupted on the ground below him, and dissipated, leaving nothing behind. Then, new flames erupted in the air next to Malefis. He grabbed onto her, hoping to pull her down with his weight. He called back all his cards and brought out a fresh one, "Shadow Spell". Chains came out of nowhere, binding the two together.

Once returning to his quarters he summoned his mirrors, His view on whoever was in battle at the moment, unsurprisingly Malefis had not been affected by the attack that came as he left, but soon enough he changed the view to the Spirits that were close to death, their last views would be those of their conquerors. "the things they see....and the humans wonder why..." he heard the roars of his master, and nodded. "Even with the leader in our possession....we cannot assume victory....until we eradicate every last one...."

Hime sighed. "You can't just duel properly, can you?"

The dragon was pulled back as it charged forward due to its wing being frozen to the ground by another scantily-clad clown girl, this time one in a risque version of a blue and white sailor fuku outfit.

"Yeah! How do you like that, big guy? Your wing isn't clipped, but it sure is chilled!"

Another girl in a similar sailor fuku outfit, this one red and white, smacked the other clown girl upside the head. The new Clown Warrior had long black and green hair as opposed to the light-blue and dark-blue hair of the ice Clown Warrior.

"Ami, you idiot! We may be clowns now, but we need to take this seriously!" The red girl yelled. "Our mistress is in danger!"

"Sorry, Rei." The blue girl replied, rubbing her sore cheek. "I guess I got carried away."

"Knock it off, you two." The boomerang-wielding Clown Warrior, this girl with suspenders covering the naughty portions of her upper body while having the rest of her outfit similar to the other two, albeit black and dark-red. This Clown Warrior had pitch-black hair in a ponytail with blue and green highlights. "Time to finish this."

"Yes, Sango." Both Clown Warriors replied at the same time as they generated mist and heat from their hands, respectively, preparing for the dragon's counterattack.

((Zetaru, will you please get Kryos to properly duel Hime?))

Malefis snorted. This persistent sparrow was trying to drag her down by grabbing onto her? She could lift the boy's body with ease and he thought that a little extra weight would slow her down? She leered at him, even as she noted the metal chains coiling around her body. It wasn't until the bind was complete that her temper broke.

So...that's what she was to him, was it? He thought he could just bind her with chains, prevent her from fulfilling her task, maybe even cripple her and prevent her from leaving until he permitted it. Humans, thinking bondage was the answer to everything. Thinking that ropes, handcuffs, and chains could give them pleasure, could solve their problems, and could aid them in their fruitless struggle to survive.

He didn't respect her for her superior firepower, her ability of flight, or her lack of fear in the face of adversity. She doubted he even felt an iota of respect for the creature she was. That useless sack of flesh, that worthless creature of skin and blood! She'd show him blood. His blood, spewing to the ground moments before the REST of his body followed it. He would taste fear and pain and know that he was a fool to think he could just BIND her with these chains!

No self-respecting dragon would EVER be tamed by these CREATURES! These SCUM! These vile, unredeemably loathsome beings that didn't deserve to even BREATHE in this whole damned WORLD!

Malefis' body glowed with a black aura and she flexed her wings. "Good riddance," she hissed, doing a half flip and swooping to the ground. Like an out of control plane, she divebombed the ground, accelerating constantly. She closed her wings, lowering the wind resistance around her body. Human go SPLAT.

Leo awoke, he noticed he was dangling in the air, by a claw. He knew one way to escape. He had the claw rip the back of his jacket which let him fall. He fell from an enormous hight, but there was a nearby large pile of rubble..... strangely with a mattress on top. Leo managed to direct himself to it and fall safely. Leo then jumped off the pile of ruble and ran as fast as he could. Hiding in nearby piles of ruble, fast enough to be confused which one he was in.

Kryos grinned, once more, insolently. She flipped, and his stomach churned, but he held a firm grip. "The only way," he paused, "You'll be able to hurt me with these chains... Is if you bring yourself down with me!" He realized Leo had broken free, but he had to control his excitement. If she noticed... He tried to give Leo an urgent look to try to get out of here, but he thought he was blocked by Malefis. He closed his eyes, concentrating hard, trying to ignore Malefis's aerial spins. He felt dizzy and confused. Death would be welcoming, if I could just bring one of them with me...

Just then, someone sliced through the rubble, and the pile split in two, revealing Leo inside, but also showing who just captured the resistance leader.

It was a short woman in a pink and white Clown Warrior outfit, but with two kimono-like sleeves on the arms. She had a sword pointing straight at Leo.

"You move, you die." She threatened.

Several Clown Knights surrounded the young man as Hime went over to the Clown Warrior and the Knights.

"Good job, Rukia."

"Thank you, mistress. I managed to spot him as he crawled into this rubble pile. Now, what should we do with him?"

Hime thought for a moment, then reached into her kimono and handed Leo his Duel Disk.

"I managed to retrieve this, though your Deck is still in our custody. However, that might change. Unlike my colleagues, I am willing to give you a chance at freedom. Would you like to hear my proposal?"

"Yes, that's the point!" Malefis shrieked, her body slamming into the ground with tremendous force. The chains shattered on impact and her body tumbled roughly across the ground, kicking up dirt and grass everywhere. Her wings got tangled up into the rest of her body and when the tumbling finally stopped, her tail was also coiled around herself.

Her head was spinning madly from the impact and her nerves felt like they were on fire. Yet despite the incredible pain, she was reveling in the moment, savoring every vicious thought of what had become of the human. Maybe he had survived, cushioned by her taking the worst of the blow. Maybe he had been squashed, or torn apart by the chains. Maybe he was lying on the ground, broken with his fragile bones, coughing up blood and silently begging for death. The thoughts excited her, filled her with a tremendous thrill.

She slowly got up, doing a swift check of her body. The armor had taken the greatest brunt of the blow, but as promised when she received it, it was undented and undamaged. She winced, however, when she moved her wings. They weren't broken or crippled, but they stung. It would not be wise for her to fly for a while.

Leo placed the disk on his arm and stood up straight "What is it?" Leo asked with his arms crossed "(I have a bad feeling about this....)" Leo thought, looking around for the best escape. First he would hear the proposal, then use the best possible way to escape..... if there is one. "Hmph." Leo stated while checking out his surroundings, there was another pile of rubble behind him. But he had no idea of it.

"Well, my little plan is quite ingenious, you see." Hime started into the groove that most supervillains went in when they explained their master plan to the hero. "There is a card store on the other side of this square. There, you will have 20 minutes to construct a deck." Sango, Ami, and Rei then rejoined their Princess. "Sango here will escort you and make sure you don't try anything funny."

"Me, Princess?" Sango was a bit startled.

"Yes, you. You also have the task of helping him build his deck. Once he is done, I will duel him. If I win, he comes as my prisoner. If he wins, however, he gets his deck back, gets to keep any cards he has in his deck, and walks away a free human. Does that sound like a fair deal, Leo?"

Haseo came from behind the ruble, "Well that's talking pretty big of you seeing as you don't even have his deck." Haseo readied his duel disk, it spun for about a second then entered its normal form, "SO think you can duel someone with their actual deck." Haseo had his normal air about him dark yet Noble, along with a hint of something malicious, "Oh, and if you lose then you have to serve me got it."

A weird creature tapped Leo's shoulder. Once Leo turned around he was freaked out with what he saw, a fiend that looked like a giant clown but with a giant head and with giant pointy teeth. He handed Leo a deck and gave an intimidating look at Hime, licking his lips at the thought of a nice, tasty clown. The Clown Eater walked away, causing small tremors as he walked away, he had a wide smirk on his face.

Hime looked at the newcomer. "Alright, then. New idea." Several more Clown Knights surrounded Haseo.

"You and I will be dueling for you freedom and Leo's." Hime told Haseo as she turned to him. "If I lose, you both go free, decks and all. If you lose, however, I have a brilliant idea for you two. I won't turn you into just ordinary Clown Knights. I will bend your kas and bas so much, you will change genders and become part of my elite corps of all-female Clown Warriors. If either of you escapes, the escapee will be killed by my good friend Malefis, and the other will be transformed. Does that sound fair?"

Kryos spat blood. He had bruises all over his body and he ached all over... but he was alive. His vision blurred for a second and he shivered as a wave of pain coursed through his body. He closed his eyes and pushed himself off the floor. He was blocked from sight by a pile of rubble resulting from the impact. "Mist... Body," he held out a card, as he murmured the two words. He felt a cooling breeze sweep through his body. From the energy he used just to take out that card, his body went limp and he fell unconscious. But he was safe, invisible behind the rubble... for now.

Haseo Smirked, "How about this you win, you do what you want, I win and you serve me, besides I know you don't have Leo's deck so this makes it fair." A ring of dark anima surrounded Haseo, "That's fair right looser serves the winner." Haseo's Duel Disk spun and then entered its duel mode and he drew five cards, "Do you mind if i go first," Haseo was ready to draw his sixth card but was waiting for his opponents decision.

Malefis looked around, a smirk crossing her face. Wherever Smear was, she couldn't see him. There was little doubt that he had perished, and if he hadn't...well, it was unlikely he was in good condition. Even as a dragon, no, an armored dragon of a legendary breed, she had not been entirely unfazed by divebombing the earth. She threw back her head and roared in triumph, careful not to strain her wings in the process.

At that moment, reality hit her. What about the boy?! She looked at her empty claws, then at the ground around here. There was no sign of him...none! She cursed fiercely under her breath. Despite her best efforts, the boy had either escaped, been helped to safety...or perished, like the fool who dared try to bind her. Whatever...yet she clenched her claws in fury. How could she have screwed this up?!

The Clown Knights backed off from Haseo and retreated, but Hime was intrigued. "I will accept your conditions." The Clown Warriors gasped, but Hime returned them to her Deck. "Now, just letting you know, I am not a full Duel Monster Spirit. I am technically a hybrid between the two: a fusion between ba and ka. In fact, all of my servants are hybrids as well. I am only supporting this invasion force because I have enough influence in the Spirit World to allow the Five-Headed Dragon, our new defacto ruler, to let me deploy my forces. Also, I wanted to see what had happened to my birthworld while I had been gone. So far, I have seen ruined urban wasteland after ruined urban wasteland, but, interestingly enough, we have done most of the damage here." She shuffled her Deck in her Big Top-shaped Duel Disk. "But enough about me. We have a duel to conduct. You go first."

Leo didn't care, he refused to be held captive, he jumped on top of the pile of rubble, but he immediately saw Malefis "Shoot!" Leo whispered as he dove for cover. He quietly crawled around the piles of rubble, impossible to be seen by Malefis. He crawled around until he was impossible to catch, he ran like mad, running in the direction of the card shop, he tapped a device in his back pocket a few times, sending a message to other Resistance members to meet him at the card shop.

"Huh, what the hell are you talking about? I activate my face down, Magic Jammer. I discard a card from my hand...." Red-Eyes Darkness Dragon's ATK became 3300. "...and I negate your Heavy Storm." She then waited for Phoenix to do his next move. "I then activate another Magic Jammer and discard my last card...." Red-Eyes Darkness Dragon's ATK became 3600. "...to negate your Lightning Vortex. Maybe you shouldn't be so blind when you do something. And what was the point of Ancient Rules and Double Attack again?"

NeoProtheus was racing to where the Itsamiatheus person was. He had to get to the bottom of this. He reread the coordinates as he raced. "Blasphemy. This isn't possible." He muttered.

Haseo drew one card then looked at his hand, "I'll activate the Spell card, Dark Anima - Ghost, this won't do anything except go right into your Spell and Trap Card Zone, next I'll activate the Field Spell Realm of Dark Anima." As he played the card the field was covered in a dark mist, the two dueling couldn't see anything except each other now and from the mist came the sensation that something was watching and waiting to attack, "As long as there is at least one card in your Spell and Trap Card Zone you can't destroy Realm of Dark Anima, I guess I'll set one Monster and throw down a Face Down."

Kryos stirred. "Leo..." was the one word he muttered and he did so without him knowing it. "Leo," he repeated the word, more aware of his senses this time. "Leo!" He hadn't shouted it, but he said it quite loudly, but not enough for someone outside of his "rubble shelter" to hear. He, eyes still closed, spat blood again and pushed himself up with his... arms? Where his arms should have been, there was nothing. In fact, he, completely astonished, couldn't see any of himself! He thought it was a trick of his eyes resulting from his impact with Malefis. Then he remembered...

Memories

Kryos, extremely hurt and bruised, blindly groped through his pocket and took out a card. It was extremely difficult, as his arms were shaking harshly. It was "Mist Body". He clasped it and he felt a mist creep through his body, rendering him invisible. Then, he blacked out.

He felt something in his pocket vibrate. He inspected it and his hopes lifted. "It's not over! Leo's safe!" he whispered excitedly. Still invisible, he crept out to Leo's current location.

((How can you creep to that guy's location when you have no arms?))

"This is interesting. It's probably a good thing my deck specializes in Continuous Spell and Trap Cards, because I activate Infinity Exchange!"

Infinity Exchange

Spell/Quickplay

Destroy 1 face-up Continuous Spell or Trap Card on your side of the field. Add 1 Continuous Spell or Trap Card to your hand from your Deck or Graveyard.

"I will send you little Ghost card to the Graveyard to add Toon World to my hand, which I will activate!"

A huge book popped out of nowhere and flipped to a pop-up circus. (Hime: 3000 LP)

"Now I will set 2 cards, then Special Summon Clown Warrior - Sango in Attack Mode!"

The beautiful boomerang-wielding clown woman from before somersaulted out of Toon World and landed in front of Haseo.

"Don't you think we're going to go easy on you just because you're cute." Sango threatened Haseo.

"Umm...yeah. I end my turn."
