[spoiler=Front Page of OOC] [spoiler=Plot] It has been five years since the defeat of the Infinity Trio. Duel Monster Spirits have engulfed the world in flames. Humans are in hiding, Signers are at the mercy of the King of the Spirits, who is none other than Five-Headed Dragon. Who can save them? None other than the Non-Signers. Luna's brother Leo went into hiding when the Signers got captured. Leo started to round up other duelists, who in term, started to help Leo. They formed the "Duel Spirit Resistance" Leo has also recruited some Duel Spirits as well. Will you help Leo save the Signers? Or will you stop this Non-Signer once and for all?

Leo was in hiding behind some ruble, as Duel Spirits passed. Once they were gone Leo ran to the next giant pile of rubble. All he heard was the chattering of the spirits, nothing good. "The king wants the humans captured!" one of them stated. After hearing that Leo stuck around a little longer. He listened to their plans...... Which didn't stay in his head that long. Until he heard something interesting "What are we going to do with the Signers?" one of them asked. "Nothing, we'll keep them THERE for the time being." another responded.

Malefis was having a good day.

 

Then again, little could beat the joy of swooping around at her leisure, sending bursts of wind from her maw or wings and ensuring the world around her crumbled into rubble. Seeing this world of humans in destruction was a thrill...absolute pleasure. The human world had too long dominated, forcing other, better creatures to hide from fear of destruction or worse..."taming". Her blood boiled at the thought. Some dragons were thrilled to fight alongside scum...such condescending worms.

 

The evening sun reflected off the black armor she had fused to her body, a body that looked so similar to that of the legendary Stardust Dragon. Black metal stretched over her wings and covered most of her chest. Another armor piece covered part of her head. Her eyes scanned the ground below her. Well, the time had come for humans everywhere to revel in their inferiority. Duel Spirits from all over had retaken the world. It belonged now to the strong, the dragons in particular.

 

I said one day I'd show you up...see what helping humans has done for you and for him! she sneered internally. She swooped down, slamming her strong legs upon a pile of rubble, watching the disturbed rocks bouncing down the mound, breaking into pieces with each bounce. She let out a triumphant roar, identical in sound to a typical Stardust Dragon's, albeit a bit of a higher pitch due to her gender. She wasn't just a mere Stardust Dragon. She hadn't been for years.

 

"Come out, come out, wherever you are," she sneered, addressing no one in particular, yet her eyes eagerly sought out an emerging person, a human or two...or even a treacherous Duel Monster.

It took only a month for the Prothean to create his new body using the Duel Disk factory. Basically, he would be a Duel bot but he didn't really care. At least he'd be stronger than the usual hosts. Plus, there was no being within miles, and once he bonds with a host, there's no going away, so he definitely can't choose an insect. One of the earlier Protheans learned that lesson when it was squashed.

It was finally finished, and he had to test it. First his hands touched the glass, he felt nothing, and then he simply pushed. The glass instantly was entirely forced off. He then began punching and kicking the pod he was in the from inside. Within seconds, he was free and the pod now looked like a crumpled-up can.....s.

 

That was yesterday. Now he had joined with the humans, where it seemed that the Duel Spirits have rebelled. Seriously, chaos time. His invisibility cloak deactivated and he faced the Malefic monster. "Hello, there, indirect product of Paradox." He said.

Haseo had just finished up about six duel spirits when he sensed something odd in the Anima in the air, it as similar to his power but different he assumed that a Malefic monster must be nearby. "This could be my chance to get my hands on a Rainbow Dragon, how can I pass that up." He headed in the direction of the abnormality but was keeping his distance making sure it would find him before he found it.

Malefis blinked in surprise, but her expression swiftly became one of contempt. She had certainly not expected a human or similar to LITERALLY emerge from nowhere, but that wasn't going to bother her. However, the vermin's words confused her. A product of Paradox? She had never heard of such tripe. More annoyingly, the rat showed no fear of her.

 

"So...you came out to play, did you, human?" Malefis sneered, her gaze focused upon the man. "How bold...and yet so foolish," she mused. Swiftly, she inhaled, drawing energy into her maw and releasing it in a wide beam, aiming for the human's legs. The longer she could toy with her prey, the more fun she could get from causing him agony for simply existing.

Protheus simply raised his two index fingers. "You fail to estimate me." He said. Two lasers were instantly shot from the index fingers, which broke Malefis's attack. "Surprised? I wouldn't be, I'm currently a robot. I have decided that an organic host would only slow me down. And you should respect your elders. Did you know that my six-thousand, nine thousandth and thirty-ninth birthday is in fourty seven days?" He then just smiled and faced the dragon in the eye. "So, product of Paradox, I'm going to assume you view me only as an insect, or vermin on that matter. Well, guess what? I you too."

Like in many dimensions, a green spark rippled through the air, this time in an alleyway in the Duel Monster-occupied section of New Domino, followed by another spark, this one larger, then another, until more and more green lightning formed, and coalesced into a sphere. The sphere of green light subsequently exploded, the eruption noticable from the air.

However, what emerged from the sphere was the different thing.

Instead of a buxom woman with red and black hair, a matching rubbery bodysuit, and a black trenchcoat, a petite teenage girl with white and silver hair, a similarly-colored bodysuit, and a schoolgirl's bow and skirt stumbled out.

"I have no idea how Mom does that." She muttered to herself as she got her bearings. "Ripping a hole in one universe, creating a tunnel from that universe to another, then opening up another hole is so exhausting."

The girl looked around, then started walking. "Hello?" She cried out. "Is anyone there?"

"Well I'm..." Malefis shot back before recalculating in her head. Wait...what did it say? Six thousand AND nine-thousandth? Too perplexed by the oddity, which she refused to believe was more than a human, she finished lamely, "2400...to the day."

 

Her eyes narrowed at the ant's next words and her wings fluttered with anger. Who was it to declare her little more than a human's worth? It wasn't the words themselves that infuriated her. She was used to being counted as less than she was. It was the utter and nonsensical CALMNESS about him...like he was in absolute control of the situation and that he was wiser than she was.

 

More than the common prey, it seems, Malefis mused. The bigger they are, the harder they fall, and the more satisfying to destroy. Humans and their pathetic egos...even if this was a robot, it was human-like in appearance and thereby less than her.

While Protheus and Malefis were talking, Leo made a run for it. He made a few feet until some more spirits spotted him. "Miss Malefis, we have found the boy!" one of them yelled. Leo was cornered, he had no idea what to do. Leo just activated his Duel Disk and waited. Just wait until whoever 'Malefis' was come and duel him. Leo faced the five duel spirits in a duel while waiting: A few minutes later: "Power Tool Dragon! Attack him directly!" Leo declared as he won the duel.

NeoProtheus just laughed while a robotic arm inside his robotic body turned up his volume up to 200, so his voice appeared demonic and very loud. He then tuned the volume back normal. "I know how strong you are, I've even faced you in battle in another dimension, so don't get me wrong. I'm not underestimating you, but I already know the extent of your power, and the extent of this body is higher, I'm afraid. The only way for you to live is to cry and apologize to your brother. That or get blasted into oblivion by none other than me."

 

Arc was running around, searching for something. And then she heard someone (Pandora) shout. She immediately chased the voice and found her. "Oh hi there." She said. "I have to destroy you, sorry."

Malefis' head plate, thankfully, was able to muffle the thing's volume amplification, yet she was incensed by his words. How dare the scum mention her brother? And she didn't owe him an apology, he deserved what he got for associating with filth humans. She was better than he was, and this crumpling world was proof of it! He had chosen the losing side! The LOSING side!

 

Malefis' attention was torn from the scum-impersonating robot by the sound of another Duel monster's shout. "They can never shout anything normal, can they?" she growled. It occurred to her a few seconds later what they were actually reporting. An easy prey? No reason she couldn't eliminate him and then confront the scum-impersonator. After all, a robot of sorts was unlikely to taste as good.

 

"I'll deal with you later!" she spat, kicking off the mountain of rubble and swooping in the direction of the shouts. Unfortunately, she also got to witness the boy, just a human boy, take out the last of the searching spirits. "Imbeciles," she hissed, swooping down upon the scene and slamming down ruthlessly upon the recently defeated, ignoring its agonized yell.

 

"You...boy," she hissed, glaring at him. A cruel smirk crossed her face and she roared, the sound echoing between the mountains of rubble. "You want to play, child?"

By the time Haseo reached the source of the odd Anima, he had found that it had already found an opponent, and it also happened to be the only person outside of his family that he has considered as a friend. "This doesn't look god, Leo has some bad habits in his duels and if it catches on he might have to show more than we can afford." Haseo sensed that someone else was coming but couldn't tell who, only that they were unusual, moments later he felt an extremely strong presence, for some reason he felt that he couldn't ignore it so he got on his duel runner and began heading for it.

Protheus just stood there. "That was just mean." He said. Suddenly, two metallic wings came out from his back. They were actually jet-packs. He rose into the sky and followed the Sin monster. Soon afterward, his feet touched the ground, one after another, and then the winged jet-pack retreated back into his spinal area. He arrived behind Leo. "Yo Leo, don't you know better than to shout?"

IC: Leo didn't respond and activated his duel disk and started to duel with a smirk. He drew five cards and a sixth "I summon Morphtronic Magnen in attack mode! I end my turn with a face-down." Leo declared, smirking. "(I just need to stall for time to raid this little Duel Spirit village.....)" Leo thought with a smirk, this duel wouldn't be about winning or losing, it would be about waiting for the rest of the "Duel Spirit Resistance".

NeoProtheus caught on his thoughts easily, even if he couldn't read his mind literally. Usually, he would agree with this, but one thousand years of doing good, really, he knew wiser decisions. "Someone who kills the person who kills is just as bad as him." He said, lowering the volume so that only Leo could hear him. "Keep that in mind."

 

Arc tapped her foot. "Well, hello? Hello?" She began clicking her fingers. It seemed that the human hadn't noticed her. "HELLO! I'M GOING TO DESTROY YOU NOOOOOOW!" She shouted. She finally got the human's attention then. "Finally."

Malefis snickered. "A little boy playing with his toys?" she sneered. She raised a claw and five black cards materialized, their faces obscured to those around her, and they hovered to the side, facing her. She held out her claw again, and a sixth appeared within the claw.

 

"Then let me show you how it's done," she taunted. She flicked her claw idly and one card from her hand spun around. "Field Magic, Dragon Canyon!" The ground began to rumble, the stones and rubble around them morphing into sleek canyon walls.

 

"Let me tell you a little story, vermin," Malefis sneered, as the changes went on. "You humans have overpopulated the world, changing a once great world into a cesspool of technology. But soon, it will be returned to the way it was. The blissful field of Dragon Canyon...once per turn, I can discard a card, and send one Dragon monster from my deck to the graveyard."

 

"I shall send Red-Eyes Wyvern from my hand, and send Red-Eyes Darkness Metal Dragon to my graveyard," Malefis stated, one of her cards disappearing as if it had never existed. "I then summon Masked Dragon!"

 

Another of her cards spun around and disappeared. A circle of light appeared and a white and red dragon formed on her field. (Lvl 3, 1400/1100)

 

"Masked Dragon, attack his toy!" she sneered. The dragon obediently spat out a burst of flame towards Leo's monster.

Pandora saw the black-haired girl and started to run over. "Oh, thank goodness I found someone! I was beginning to think I was all alone here. Have you seen a guy named-" Pandora stopped running when it clicked in her head what the girl had said. "Hang on a second. Did you just say that you were going to destroy me? Why? We have only just met, and I have given you no provocation to go to such an extreme! In fact, you have no reason to destroy me at all!"

Protheus just stood there. "You're right about that, indirect product of Paradox. Did you know that in three hundred years time in another dimension, humans would have to live in space because Earth became poisonous due to pollutants? Yeah, I've been there, thrice." He said.

 

"Actually, yes, you have. You exist. And I'm quite sure you're not a mirage." Arc said. Her black and red Duel Disk activated and she faced the human. "You can take the first time if you want, human. Ready? I'm going to burn you into oblivion.......and then we can be friends!"

Pandora held out her hands. "Hold on. You said that my existence was the reason that you want to destroy me. Is THAT your argument? That I EXIST?!? That is an incredibly weak reason for wanting to annihilate someone you just met!" Pandora picked up a nearby piece of rubble. "Do you also want to eliminate this rock?" She then dropped that and pulled up a fallen-down sign. "Or this...advertisement for Victoria's Secret, whatever that is." She then pointed up at the sky. "Or all of creation!"

".....I take the first move then. I summon Red-Eyes Black Chick." She said. A red egg appeared on the field. "I then send it to the graveyard to summon Red-Eyes Black Dragon." The red egg immediately exploded and in it's place was a black, skeletal dragon. "Now I activate this card, Inferno Fire Blast! Burn her!" The black dragon fired a black devastating blast from it's mouth, which then hit the human, and the damage was real enough. "Now I send that to the graveyard to summon Red-Eyes Darkness Dragon!"

The black dragon's skeletal appearance began gaining size. And then it looked like a real black dragon with red markings. "It has 3000 ATK. I set a card and end. By the way, I want to destroy you because you're a human, I don't want to destroy existence, silly."

Pandora dodged the attack, then just stood there, staring down the dragon and looking a bit nervous.

"Three things. One: I don't have a Duel Disk. I have a deck, but I don't have a Duel Disk. Two: I never agreed to duel you in the first place. And Three: If you want to destroy humans, shouldn't you want to destroy yourself as well? I mean, you ARE human, right? Right?"

"Wrong again! Seriously, who are you not to know? I'm a wyvern, those dragons without arms, or front legs, or whatever you humans call them. Not only that, I happen to be the daughter of my father, who is known by you humans as 'Red-Eyes Black Dragon'. I'm known by you humans as 'Red-Eyes Wyvern', but honestly, I don't have red eyes, see? They're orange." She opened her eyes side and pointed at them, showing them to Pandora, where they were indeed orange, not red. "Pegasus is so strange, calling us this and that, when in fact we're not. He did the same with my father's long-time rival, who is definitely not white, but blue." She then caught the human's earlier words. "....I didn't notice. Oh well, we can always settle this the old way! The old way is always fun!"

The psychic cyborg slowly started to back up,not exactly pleased at the suggestion of "the old way". "Wait. Please, hear me out. I am not from this dimension, so I have no idea why you dislike homo sapiens so much, but I am barely human to begin with. Please, I have no hatred for you or any of your kind. In fact, in the dimensions I have been in, I have made friends with Duel Monster Spirits. There is no reason for us to fight."

"I think so too, maybe you should tell that to the King once I obliterate you, burn the remains, and destroy the ashes." Arc said. Then the cards she had played all disappeared, along with her Duel Disk. "You know what? I wouldn't even care if you lived on the sun, you still look human, that in it's own way counts, as the craggy dragon Malefis always says. I am well aware there is no reason to fight....or is there? You humans are destroying the world with your factories, pollutants, technology, explosives, and fights....is what everyone says. Either way, I'm going to miss the use of these arms." She then bent down and she immediately transformed into a black dragon equivalent to that of a Red-Eyes Black Dragon, only it had no front legs, or arms, or whatever, and it was also slightly smaller. "By the way, my name is Arc, named after a giant wooden boat."
